I am a single working mother who is protective of who comes around our home and always on the lookout for people taking advantage of a situation. I can confidently say Preferred Air is a company I trust to be honest with what needs to be fixed and priced appropriately for their work. After an emergency repair which they came out within a couple hours and fixed at a reasonable price and didn't deceive me, I've now joined their maintenance plan which has already paid for itself with the time and attention to keep my a/c running.

No short cuts and they made sure everything was 100% good before leaving. Daniel gave us the added assurance of coming back if we felt anything needed adjusted on our damper that they installed.

Preferred Air was able to [censored] our situation and replace our unit within 2 days. Excellent Communication from booking thru repair completion! Our experience with Preferred Air and his daughter was exemplary. Scheduling was easy through their website. They immediately communicated by text even though I reached out at 4am! They showed up as promised, diagnosed our problem and completed the repair in less than one hour. The price for diagnostic was as advertised, and the price for the repair was quoted up front. Preferred Air went the extra mile to explain our system, how it works, and how much longer we could expect things to last. He was patient, knowledgeable and very professional! We will definitely be calling for future AC needs and will recommend him to everyone we know.

We personally don't take the time to write reviews, good, bad or indifferent, however in this case we needed to respond to the exceptional experience we had, dealing with Preferred Air. We did get three quotes, as most people would. The two we didn't use, seem to be professional and reasonably priced. After setting our appointment with Samantha with Preferred Air, we were impressed with her cheerful and professional attitude. The same continued with Daniels meeting at our home. His product and design knowledge were far superior to the other companies. During the design phase of the system, which was extensive, Daniel pointed out a serious design flaw in our wishes, that the other companies were willing to install, netting them hundreds more. As far as price, Preferred Air happened to be VERY competitive. During this process, from start to finish, they kept us informed, even in the littlest detail, and followed it to the letter! We had a 20 year old AC that went out in the middle of July so we began scheduling quotes. We interviewed six highly reputable and rated companies over a hot two day period and Preferred Air stood above them all. Sarah, the office manager and first point of contact, set the tone. She is a pleasure to work with and follows up even when its not expected. John, one of the owners, listened to our needs, inspected the entire system, provided a thorough and detailed explanation of their quote, and answered all of our questions. Our current AC was irreparable so John and Jane, another owner, came over multiple times in the days prior to install to keep the system running. The install team consisting of Mark and Mike were professional, efficient, funny (cant leave that out!), and cleaned up after the install. Our new unit runs quietly and we dont experience any hot spots and hot rooms any longer. A few other things that stood out are the ability to reach a person when calling, not an 800 number or answering service, and that they guarantee their work. Preferred Air is a family owned & run local company that we highly recommend.
