I was charged four times for a round trip flight to Las Vegas
On July 22, 2022, I contacted Priceline to take advantage of flight credits that I had available. I talked to an agent that was looking through flights that I could apply my credits toward. As she went through the flights, she stated that my credits of $254.81 were not going to cover the full charge of $716.41. I asked what my total charge would be. The agent stated that the only charge would be $461.60. I agreed. She then stated that the flight was booked so we will need to look for another flight. I said, ok so I won’t be charged? She said I will only be charged for the actual flight I take. So she booked a different flight. She then said, well that was booked up as well; we will need to look for a different flight. I was confused about how she would book me, but then she would go to finalize the flight. It was booked up and had no room. Then she said exactly the same thing a fourth time to finally have a flight I was confirmed to be booked on. After I received my charges, I called and stated I was charged for four different flights for the same day yet I only authorized one flight to be charged. I only had a confirmed ticket for one flight, not all four. I only used one ticket for one flight Dated July 23, 2022, United Airlines Inc 749 Confirmation number FDN6J8. I returned on July 25, 2022, on United Airlines Inc 2643 Confirmation FDN6J8. I did not purchase any other ticket. Please remove all other charges that were made to my card dated July 22, 2022.
Desired outcome: Please adjust my account information to reflect that I have disputed these transaction(s), and to remove these items from my statement, and send written confirmation that you have done so.
Booked a hotel in Williamsburg/Greenpoint, but received an unsafe hotel in a different area.
Booked a hotel that was advertised as being 3 stars or better in either Williamsburg or Greenpoint, Brooklyn. Once Priceline had my cash in hand, it revealed the hotel was actually on the border of Bushwick and Bed-stuy, a completely different neighborhood that was both more chaotic and geographically different than the ones advertised. I got a 2 star dive in an entirely different neighborhood than I had just paid hundreds of dollars for.
To make matters worse, previous reviews showed the hotel was rather sketchy, with photos of USED NEEDLES guests have found in their beds and abundant filth.
Hotel, in true flophouse fashion, refused to answer the phone. Priceline support agents read off scripted policy and did not bother to address the fact that I was given a lower quality property in a completely different area of town, with an obvious flotilla of health/sanitation issues.
Priceline refused to help at all, in either swapping for a hotel that was actually in the place I paid for, or any refund.
It took me almost 2 hours for an honest agent to confirm that Priceline's policy was to do nothing, and that the only resolution option I had left was to file a credit card chargeback.
What seemed like a deal became a scammy hassle. Avoid this company, book direct with the hotel or with a more reputable and service focused aggregator instead.
Desired outcome: Priceline's own agents confirmed a chargeback was my only option, as their policy doesn't allow for any resolution aside from chargeback. No changes, no refunds, even though their listing was incorrect
Hampton Inn & Suites Missouri City
I was freezing in my room, which was so nasty that there were food droppings on the light switch and something brown on the rear floor of the TV stand that I was afraid to touch. I complained to the front desk and was offered a blanket. I called Priceline and was offered a 15% discount on my next trip, that was not provided. I didn't care because it didn't stop me from freezing. I slept on top of the bed in my clothes. Outside was 33°F and felt colder. Inside the thermostat stopped at 75°F but it never warmed up. I called Hilton CS (Case #[protected]) and the investigation lead to lies. The offer of 5,000 points from Hilton to make up for my $95 to sleep in my clothes is an insult. I would have done better to sleep in my car. I cleaned up the room with my Clorox wipes. told me that the desk rep said that the room was 80°F and yet it can't set beyond 75°F. I can't write my review on Priceline.com. Where are the reviews coming from? Customers are not able to share their true experience. I can't trust the high ratings if I can't share my truth on the website. My experience was not more than 1 star, but the hotel is showing almost 10 on Priceline.com!
Desired outcome: I desire what you would want if you had to clean a hotel room and sleep on top of a bed in your clothes.
I told them about a hallway full of trash that was stinking and the odor of marijuana. Red Roof also locked me out of my room before checking out and I needed my purse. I was not going to leave without it they had no business locking the room before checking out. They offered 15% off and the coupons never worked for me!
Hotel cancellation/refund not approved
We bought trip insurance for our recent stay. We only stayed 1 out of 2 nights booked. Priceline did NOT refund our money. They charged us for the entire stay and stated it was the hotel who denied the approval for a refund. NEVER EVER will I use priceline again. The room was NOT AT ALL what was represented when the reservation was made. The furniture was in terrible shape and the bathroom was no bigger than a closet. There customer service is AWFUL. I will not book through this company again.
Desired outcome: I would like to be refunded the money we were charged for a night we did NOT stay at the hotel.
Flights (delta)
Reserved flights through Priceline for March 1 and 7 on Delta. Later realized I had used my middle name which is the name I go by--but that I needed to use my "legal" name starting with my first name. No way to "fix" that except to cancel and reschedule. Did that. Then noticed I had missed checking Main Cabin and was stuck in Economy--no way to change that either--so canceled that (within 24 hours)--and finally got the flight set the way we wanted--it's confirmed. BUT my Discover card is charged for the first flight scheduled and Priceline will not remove the charge--only issue a credit. We are senior citizens and not likely to make another flight--really cannot afford the extra over $800 for the first tickets. The final ones were over $1000. Unfortunately, there is no EZ way to talk to a PERSON at this company to get help with situations like this.
2nd problem was our motel reservation-made separately from the flight reservation. Reserved a room at the Comfort Inn Convention Center in St. George Utah-charged to Discover. Did not receive a confirmation email - did not have confirmation # or trip #. Checked my account and there was no trip listed for this motel stay; assumed it was somehow not processed, so remade the reservation, this time charged to MasterCard. BUT my Discover account is charged for the motel. Trying to resolve this through Booking.com which apparently actually makes the reservations--do NOT want to pay for 2 rooms!
Really not happy at all with Priceline at this point and would not recommend them. Should have just gone directly through the motel and airline.
Desired outcome: Remove motel charge from Discover accountRemove canceled flight charges from Discover accoiunt.
Hotel was disgustingly dirty
Itinerary numbers: [protected] and [protected]
First of all, both rooms were disgusting! The carpets were SO STICKY our shoes stuck to them as we walked around. The dust accumulation under the bed was horrible. IF we had the time, we would have left immediately. We were attending a family dinner and did not have the convenience of getting another hotel.
Desired outcome: We would like to be fully refunded. I made the reservations for me and my husband and my brother and sister in laws. The charges were on my credit card. I can be reached at [protected]@comcast.net or [protected].
Rental car.
Nothing spilled, no smoking or anything else that would warrant the OUTRAGEOUS cleaning. Why are you crooking charging me for an outside cleaning, as we left that can as clean as we found it. You had better refund the $400 IMMEDIATELY or I will find a theft charge against you crooks! NOW! I will be filing a complaint with the appropriate authorities at the federal level since the operations is a criminal enterprise spanning several states.
Desired outcome: Since we left the car in better shape, to include air fresheners sine it smelled like a BO in a boys lockeroom. Further, 2 of their employees gave us the all clear after they inspected the vehicle. This is fraud, plain and simple.
Was charged for two rooms I never used.
1/30/23 I booked a room at the hotel north beach through priceline.com, when I went to check in I was no permitted because I only had a digital copy of zid because my wallet was stolen that day. I gave my friend $60 and he made a second reservation and when he tried to checkin the hotel said no because I didn’t have i’d. The hotel refused to refund our money and priceline claimed there was nothing they could do, even though I paid priceline not the hotel. They are a scam, kept $120 for no services provided. Crooks.
Desired outcome: Full Refund.
Customer care service
Americans using Priceline should know that PL Customer care is ran out of the Philippines, and good luck understanding them. If I am calling from the US I should at least get a US agent I can understand.
PL tells you to call teh Airlines for cancelations, yet the airlines say you have to contact the 3rd party. PL employees do NOTHING to help.
Every situation is different and should be treated that way. Stop having the people overseas reading the terms, hopefully we can all read the terms. I needed resolution. I had 3 different PL employees ask my trip number when it was already in the DM thread, that they didn't bother to look at. Ridiculous
Desired outcome: I would like this to be fixed so the next customer does not have to deal with this, and the unwillingness to help. Would LOVE my money credited back to my Credit card, so I won't have to deal with Priceline ever again.
Air flight ~bait & switch
I saw a flight I wanted then proceeded to purchase it. I submitted the booking, it then stated "We just booked our last flight for this and it is no longer available". It showed us a different flight in the same time frame for much more money. We decided not to book that one. But, I checked their website again an hour later and the exact flight I originally wanted is once again available but at a much higher cost. Looks like bait and switch?

I filled out the order form and purchased the rental car. Moments later, I received, and confirmation email stating the total was $320.83 (55.99 a day). I immediately called the Priceline customer service number and talked to a supervisor, Carmella, and was told that prices change quickly and that she could not cancel or change the amount charged for my reservation.
Who knew that Priceline was a scam!
Desired outcome: I want my reservation canceled and my money refunded.
Itinerary #[protected] please help!
Hello,
I have flights booked, round trip, in March. You see the Priceline trip number.
United: conf GBP54Q
Easy Hotel: conf [protected]
My complaint is that Google arbitrarily chose my recovery email - all my flights, hotel and insurance are linked to an invalid email.
None of your customer service people can help me! Why not?
That incorrect email is: [protected]@gmail.com.
The real email address is [protected]@gmail.com
Every time I have filled in my email on one of your forms, I used the right one.
I am afraid that if all the information does not match, my boarding passes and hotel reservations will not recognize me. Today, PL already said my trip does not exist. But it does: now you can find my itinerary by the number.
Please - can I change the bundle, and everything, to the correct email so I will not encounter problems at the airports or hotel?
Thank you,
Charlie Messing
Desired outcome: Please simply change all my emails to the correct email, which I entered numerous times during the reservation. Thank you. I look forward to your reply at 802-363-2946or [protected]@gmail.com
Collins Ave Hostel, Miami Beach, FL
Manager/staff stays in the room with you [which I feel is a complete conflict of interest when guest are present]. Without introducing who he is or his position until he wants to flex his authority. Completely controls the eating area and television to himself in and worst of all leaves it trashed. Very possessive behavior, disturbing with lights, noise and television. Since he has the “authority” he burst into rooms and forewarns other guest that he will continue to do so unapologetically. Makes you feel uncomfortable as a guest. During my stay I was constantly harassed (4x on a Sunday afternoon) about what the length of my stay will be days in advance. My stay was already paid for. No reason for this type of person’s narcissistic behavior. Strongly urge no one to ever book any type of room here. Consistently locked out via card key and had to reset it daily via front desk in the neighboring building. Do not recommend staying here.
Desired outcome: New Management‼️
Hotel was a dump
Made a reservation on Priceline Trip Number: [protected] for Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham Tampa near Ybor City for Tuesday Jan. 17th. 2023.
When we arrived at the hotel, the lobby spelt of heavy cigarette smoke and when we asked why this was so, the desk clerk pretended that it was the smell from the contruction happening outside the hotel...this of course was untrue as the heavy smell of cigarette was also in the room that he gace us.
The room was stifling with the smell of cigarette smoke but that was just the start. The room was dirty and unkempt. The bathroom sink was old and rusty. The furniture in the room old and dirty. The fridge and microwave was also old and dirty. The beds stained and the sheets had dusty and debris on them. Carpents were dirty too. We asked for a cleaner room and was given the one next door. It was more of the same dirtiness. My sister and I started to cough from the smell and the dust. We made an effort to clean the room but it made us more ill so we had to leave. After travelling to Tampa from New York City, we were tired and scared because we had nowhere to stay. We eventually had to pay more money and stay at another hotel. We would very much like to have a reimbursemnt. This place is not fit for human occupation. It should be declare unfit for people. We want refund and compensation for all the troubles we had. This "hotel" should be closed until it is cleaned. It is a health hazard esp in these times of Covid. This is the link to a video that I made of this place...

Desired outcome: Please refund and compensated for all the troubles, physical, emotional and mental distress.
Car rental
I have a car rental reservation pick up scheduled for 1/25/23-1/27/23 out of RSW through Alamo. I booked it on 12/6/22 and apparently did the prepay option. Cost of a compact car is $137.27. I looked on Tuesday, 1/17 for another car because we need a bigger car. I could not cancel this reservation and even if I don't show I'm already out the money. I called to see if they could upgrade the car for the same price. Current cost of vehicles through Alamo is full size car $107.26 and standard suv $119.09. I wasn't asking for money back, just a bigger vehicle. I was told they could not accommodate me, they could only move me to a different car in the same class compact. He told me I was a GOLD Member. What does this even mean? It's hard to believe they wouldn't offer to help with the upgrade. I rent through Priceline at least once or twice a month. Maybe it's time to start using other options. Also, guess I should never prepay for a car again.
Desired outcome: I would like a bigger vehicle even if it's at the same price. Honestly, the price difference would be nice, but not even asking for that at this time.
Booking flights online
Today I spent valuable time finding flights that met my date/time requirements. I was so happy when I finally began entering in all the necessary information only to have Priceline change the amount of the flight, saying that the price I found is no longer available. OK, so I decided that I would deal with the increase and I continued with my credit card info and hit PAY. As soon as I did, I got a message saying that my trip was cancelled because one of the flights I chose was no longer available. Try as I might, I was not able to find out which flight was not available, so that I could select another flight. In the meantime, I looked at my credit card info and I could see the charge pending. I called Priceline and was told that it wasn't them that cancelled the flight but the airline and that I would have to contact them. I was connected to the airline and they informed me that the flights I booked are available and it was Priceline that cancelled. I called Priceline again, this time I was told that it was rejected by my credit card company, probably because I entered in wrong information. I did not enter in any wrong info, I am very thorough and check things 3x. On top of all this, when I went back onto the Priceline site to look for an alternate flight, the flights I booked were still available. That means other people are going to have the same issue that I had, booking and being charged only to find be cancelled at the end. I don't like being lied to. What kind of scam is this? I don't think I will ever try Priceline again and I urge others to be very careful. I am very disappointed in this company.
Desired outcome: I would have liked the Priceline flight department to help me find another suitable flight and to compensate me by giving a small discount on that flight.

My name is Lorie Sellers my cruise number is 22-[protected]
I booked my cruise labor day weekend I took screen shots of everything your ad stated free wi - fi and drinks also 200 on board credit. I payed for my cruise in full and when I checked my itinerary the drinks and wi-fi was not included. I called and left a call back number on 1-16 never received a call back. Darlene who is going with me called today they told her there was a choice you picked the 200 on board credit or free wi fi? I called again tonight spoke with Christoper Williams and I send him screen shots. He said if I got a balcony upgrade so I didn't get the free drinks and wi-fi there was no options like that when I booked. This was a labor day sale I did my homework and so I thought this was the best deal. Very disappointed.
Desired outcome: I would like the free drinks and wi - fi the ad stated.
American Airlines credit purchased through priceline.com
I purchased tickets on 3/11/21 through price line leaving Tampa to Panama on 4/15/21. I was unable to go to Panama so I called priceline.com to cancel the ticket. I was told I would get a credit of $284.00 I can use towards another trip within a year.
I received an email almost at the year mark stating I had until 4/15/22 to book a trip. So I made plans to go to Texas to use the credit. When I tried to put in the voucher it did not go through. When I called priceline.com on 3/22 they said it had already expired. I told the lady I had the email confirmation that said it was valid until 4/15/22. She said priceline.com system is sending out the wrong dates. So who fault is that? You sent an email stating I have until 4/15/22 to use it. Furthermore, I received another email stating I had until 9/3/22 to use the credit. That is a switch and bait. You can't tell someone one date and not honor it. If you know your system is sending out wrong dates then you should be sending out correction emails. Not more emails pushing the date out even more. That is just bad business all they way around!
Desired outcome: Get my credit back since priceine.com sent out the wrong dates. I would have used it if they sent out the correct date.
Airfair
Priceline is a scam the first image is the price showing on their website $114, the second image is what happens when you try to book it on line, and I tryed several dates and the 3rd image is the price given to me by an agent on the phone when I couldn't book the flight online it was 3 times more money $377. How do these companies get away with this stuff it's incredible.
Desired outcome: Sale me the ticket for the price showing on your website
Yes a complete scam.
3 days in a row they offered the exact same hotel for 64% off at $153 a night was my VIP price.
When I clicked to book and pay it said the room was no longer available and it was now 30% off at $296 a night. When I clicked to book it said the room was no longer available and the room was now 26% off and $305 a night. I did this signing in from a new browser 3 days in a row. After several hours on the phone Priceline was no help, all they said it was computer glitch and nothing they could do. Spoke to 7 different people who claimed to be managers but they were not.
Refund
I reserved and paid for a room at BW- Dallas Love Field TX July 5 2022- July 8 2022. Upon arrival the hotel did not have me on record. After 2 hours in the foyer of the hotel trying to deal with Priceline to understand the issue, it turned out that Priceline did NOT turn my reservation into BW. I wasn’t the only customer that happened to while I waited. PL refused to do anything except get me to a different hotel to which cost less and an entirely different atmosphere/rated hotel than I paid for. I had to pay out more money or stay in my car. I have filed with the BBB as well as the AG for reimbursement. SOMEONE come to my rescue! I also have complaints with South Carolina for the same
Desired outcome: Full reimbursement for both hotels.
