Priceline respect for military servicemen active and retired
I reserved a room at Country Inn & Suites By Radisson Fredericksburg South (I-95), VA, on 25 March 2023. Priceline charged me $ 170.58 for one night stay once I got to the Inn the Manager Trevor seen that I was a Retired Military Veteran stated that they could give me a Military discount of 30 dollars, but when he went in to try and apply the discount, he could not do it, so he stated for me to contact them when I got home, when I contacted the Priceline service center, the Rep stated that priceline policy does not provide a Military discount even if the present Inn or Hotel is willing to give one, this organization is definitely not Militay friendly, so If you're Military and planning to go somewhere, I would check all other travel agencies before using Priceline.
Desired outcome: I only want what the Country Inn Manager stated they would give as a Military discount of 30 dollars.
Hotel cancellation poor customer service
I have spent hours on the phone with customer service at Priceline, to request an exception on my hotel travel due to my child catching an unforeseen virus and not wanting to put anyone else's health in danger at the hotel. I was told it would take 24/48 hours to hear a response from the hotel but when I called back a couple hours later someone told me my request was denied so I called the Loew's Hotel directly and spoke with a man named Brian. After hearing from me, Brian contacted his manager C. Fleming and she stated that no email was ever received by her office and for me to have Priceline resend the email and they would approve this exception. I contacted Priceline again and was escalated to a manager this time and the called was mysteriously disconnected while the manager placed me on hold, no one bothered to call me back, I then called the hotel directly again and spoke with Bernie who gave me the reservation departments direct email to have Priceline make this request again '[protected]@loewshotels.com' and the reservation team's direct phone number [protected]. I called Priceline again and they told me that the email was already sent and I would have to wait 24/48 hours for a response even though at this point, I am supposed to be checking in at the hotel in 24 hours. They refused to send the email I was asking to the email address that was provided to me by the hotel itself or call the hotel, they refused to allow me to put a 3 way call through so we could all get this taken care of immediately and basically told me they didn't care. They did all they could do and I would just have to wait or check in at the hotel. The complete disregard for the safety and well-being of anyone else at the hotel and making this situation way more complicated than necessary is completely disturbing to me.

Desired outcome: Please Refund and Cancel.
Switch and bait/deceptive payment
I made a hotel reservation on March 21, 2023, which I never received hotel conformation from priceline nor could find it in my reservations on priceline.com. Upon phoning, I was told to call some random booking.com number and in turn that since I did not have a reservation/trip number they couldn't assist me and to phone Priceline. Sigh...3 hours and totally frustrated later, and still NOT having my reservation confirmation, I phoned the resort.
I was informed the reservation was made, that it was made for two adults and NOT the 2 children which were also made on the reservation. I attempted to make the reservation on the website but the card I was using wouldnt go through so I finally called and though I asked numerous times why my card wouldn't work on the site, wasn't given an answer. The agent made the reservation and I asked more than 3-4 times "2 adults and 2 children". YES I was informed. The resort stated the children were not added to the reservation, that there will be a $50 upcharge EACH DAY for the children and yet, when I made the reservation and went back to recheck the amount on the site, with the chidren, it is the amount paid and the upcharge was indeed included as the price per night went up. I still can't locate my reservation on priceline, no way to cancel and rebook using another site as the hotel charges a crazy cancellation fee, and now I am stuck paying extra money for children that are already included in the reservation. My last time using priceline and I have used them for many years for my travel needs.
Desired outcome: Refund of my payment and free cancellation and will book using another site
Dishonesty and incompetence
I was issued a credit August 9, 2022. Since then, I’ve contacted Priceline Customer Care several times in hopes to redeem my $314.99 credit with no success.
When I talk to an agent from the Customer Care number, I’m told completely different information.
I have been told by Priceline Customer Care:
- that my credit has expired and that I need to call United Airlines
- that I can’t pick a flight off the Priceline website, that I need to use United’s website
- that the prices I see on the United Airlines website will be accurate to what I would pay, only to find a flight, call back, and be told the ticket is several hundred dollars more than it is on the website
I’ve been using Priceline for a couple years now with no problem, but I can’t see my loyalty continuing if this isn’t resolved.
Desired outcome: I would like an explanation for the misinformation and a refund or be able to purchase a ticket at the prices listed on Priceline website.
Dirty hotels with no running water
I'm staying in a hotel which is called baymont inn in Houston, TX. 10155 north fwy, Houston, TX. I got this hotel through priceline.com and it was advertised as 2.5 star hotel with hot breakfast. The moment I entered the hotel from the back door after checking in I saw the back door window was shattered and the door is unlocked. I entered my room but there was a strong smell not a nice one. I tried to open my window but saw that the window glass is broken too. I took a shower and saw that towels had make up stains from previous guests, I'm a male and don't use make up as most of you think. Carpets were dirty covered with dirt, dust and stains. Bathroom door was ripped with mold. Roaches was running around. Today is my third day and last day. After I went for some food shopping and came to hotel and no running water at all. For nearly 7 hours there is no running water at all. When I asked in the morning around 7am if possible I want to cancel my reservation but they refused to issue a refund. Even during that early time the stuff at the front desk was telling no room available to calling customers. They are just plain and open stealing people's money who don't want to do business with them. Don't use priceline.com they will always advertise fake listings and don't stay at this hotel. They advertised this hotel with hot breakfast but it is another lie. There is only waffle in the morning but nothing else. I hope someone stop bad businesses like these priceline.com and like this hotel.
Desired outcome: No outcome or no agreement were made with either priceline.com or with hotel.
Misinformed about seating charges refunded
I placed a trip on Priceline.com that resulted in $117.25 for seating charges. After receiving the itinerary, it indicated I booked basic economy. When I went to united airlines website it informed me there would be baggage charges or I could upgrade my economy priviledges to avoid seating and baggage charges of 49.99 per person. I called back priceline and asked them if they can upgrade my priviledges and could I get a refund on the seating fees I already paid. The priceline rep indicated I had to book that upgrade through united airlines first then priceline could refund the seating fee I paid. I did as instructed and booked the upgraded economy priviledges with United. It cost $198.00. When I called back priceline they told me seating fees could not be refunded. I spoke with a supervisior who appologized for the misinformation I received from their rep but they could not refund my seating fees. Now I over spent on this trip due to pricelines customer service rep. They should refund me. I offered to show that I upgraded as per their instruction but they would not have it.If they want me to ever use them again.
Desired outcome: A refund for the $117.25 for the seating costs I was charged by priceline.
Charged twice for hotel services
My name is Clara Henderson. This is my second attempt at communication with you. I had done the second communication and it came out as a draft. I booked a package deal with Priceline including airfare and hotel, The airlines was Delta and the hotel was the Sahara in Las Vegas. When I booked the package, I was charged $97 for hotel services. When I checked out of the Sahara on 3/10/23 I was charged $200 and some cents for hotel services. I told them that I had paid the hotel services when I booked with Priceline. I was told they do not honor hotel services charged by an online travel agency, The booking was from 3/6/23 to 3/10/23. Thank you.
Desired outcome: refund of $97
Car rental
I placed a one-day car rental reservation online through Priceline to pick up a car at the Vancouver BC Canada airport, and was charged $47.88. One hour later I found out that the ad was misleading, the car was not located at the airport for pickup but was located several miles away; that doesn't work for me. I immediately cancelled the reservation and was sent an email verifying the cancellation and stated that a refund would be issued within one business day. That never happened. I called my bank several times to verify that no refund was received, then I contacted Priceline several times, I was told that it's my bank's fault and I need to deal with them. I called Priceline again today, and was told that the only way they would refund my money is if I agreed to do a 3-way call to my bank with Priceline listening in on the phone call verifying the bank never received the refund. How gross and unprofessional is that? Probably even illegal! Anyways, they got that verification from my bank. Then Priceline told me that they would "escalate" my issue to their accounting department who will investigate? Sure thing...a month into this by now..,WHAT THAT REALLY MEANS IS THAT THEY STOLE MY MONEY AND HAVE NO INTENTION OF EVER REFUNDING IT! BEWARE! DO NOT EVER DEAL WITH THIS DISGUSTING UNETHICAL COMPANY. Thank g-d I only lost $50.00, it could have been worse because after researching online, I learned that tens of thousands of consumers have also been robbed by Priceline...for a lot more money than $50.00.
Desired outcome: Refund
Charged for hotel services
I was charged for hotel services by both the hotel and Priceline. I paid the hotel services twice. I stayed at the Sahara Casino from 3/6/2023 to 3/10/23. I did not use any services except the hotel room. This was in Las Vagas. When I checked out of the casino on 3/10/23 they charged me $200 and some cents for hotel services. When I made the reservations with Priceline $197 was added for hotel services and I paid that was included in the final price so I paid both Sahara and Priceline for hotel services
Desired outcome: I would like a refund for hotel services
This is my third attempt to contact you. I booked a package deal through Priceline. It was a round trip ticket from Anchorage Alaska to Las Vegas Nevada with Delta Airlines and the hotel was the Sahara Casino in Las Vegas from 3/6/23 returning on 3/10/23. You charged me $197 for hotel services and Sahara charged me $200.77 for hotel services when I checked out. I told them Priceline had charged me $197 for hotel services, I was told that Sahara does not honor charges for hotel services from an online travel agency. I was charged twice for hotel services and would like a refund from Priceline for $197. Thank you,
Other than the two time charges for hotel services I liked the low prices.
Refunding on a cancelled reservation
On March 9th at approximately 6:30 pm I went to the hotel where I had a reservation. The hotel was Travelodge by Wyndham Pocatello, Idaho. I checked in and went to my room. On the way to my room I went to check out the hot tub and sauna. The hot tub was a cement hole with a garden hose in it and the sauna was a dark room that you entered and then padlocked the door. Neither of these amenities were in working nor safe order. I continued to my room and as soon as I walked into the room I could tell that it hadn't been cleaned and the smell of something dead and chlorine was overwhelming. There was feces all over the bathroom, a note on the desk that said "Your Gay!", and the bed was not made up. I immediately went to the front desk and told the clerk the situation. He immediately cancelled my reservation and assured me of a full refund back onto my card within the hour. He then helped me to make the cancellation on my priceline app. It is now 3/11/2023 and im getting an email from priceline stating that there was no cancelation and therefore the hotel is not allowing them to refund the money. However I have proof that I got a confirmation number that it was cancelled by the hotel and priceline.
Desired outcome: I am only asking for my account to be refunded the amount that I paid out. $160.00
Car rental
We reserved a car for our current trip to South Carolina. (Price line trip #[protected]) We were scheduled to fly into Charleston Airport on March 4, 2023. With a winter storm forecasted for our Massachusetts locale, we changed our flight to leave in advance of the storm. We would now be arriving in Charleston on Friday evening, March 3,2023.
When the flight changed, I called the Ace Rental office in Charleston directly to see if we would be able to get a car on Fri evening. The agent said that would be " no problem ". We were aware that this office was not at the terminal so I asked him what the procedure was once we landed. He said that since the lot was " only 6 minutes away" they regularly circle the airport. We could also call to arrange a pick up.
We arrived Fri evening and went outside the terminal to hopefully spot this roaming van. After about 20 mins. we decided that it made more sense to place a call. We went back into the terminal to the courtesy desk and should have seen the 1st red flag when the person manning the desk didn't have the number for Ace. After sometime, we found a number but there was no response. We called an 800 number for the company and they were not able to get a response either. It should be noted that we were engaged with phone calls for about 30 mins. This was not a smooth process. We were stuck without a car.
Needless to say, we cancelled the reservation and went to one of the rental car counters in the terminal. It was now getting dark, and as two less than savvy senior citizens, we wanted to get settled . We had to pay about $600 more than the Priceline rate but we didn't see any other option.
This was our first , last, and only experience with Priceline.

I was charged collision insurance regardless of my worldwide coverage
I've made a vehicle booking through Priceline between 24th February and 5th of March 2023. My credit card company covers Auto Collision worldwide. Accordingly, I never do have to purchase Collision coverage. However, upon trying to pick my fully paid vehicle, the rental company asked from me to pay Auto Collision insurance. I have provided them the necessary documents showing that I'm covered worldwide. Since they still insisted from me to purchase insurance I even called and provided them a letter of coverage from the credit card company directly. Still they haven't accepted my coverage. I've called Priceline about the issue and the rep was not able and willing to solve my issue. Not to lose time I had to accept their $296.99 extra charge! So I had to pay Auto Collision insurance which I don't need to because of Priceline. I have contacted Priceline again upon my return from my vacation. Once again, they were not willing to take responsibility and solve my issue. Do not book vehicles with them as you'll have to pay insurance even though you don't need to pay at all.
Desired outcome: Refund of my insurance payment of $296.99 to the rental company.
Scam! Companies cause delay and I was charged
Terrible! The car rental company they provide was trash. I didnt have my rental car until the next day. Stuck at the airport, then get to the hotel and find out my room was given away and they charged me for the full 3 day stay. I contacted Priceline through every step trying to cancel and resolve my issue and they did absolutely nothing. Maria did not provide any resolution. I will never book through priceline again! Booking.com is way better in resolving issues.
Desired outcome: 1 day delay for rental car and refund for my hotel charge due to not being able to stay amd having to book somewhere else.
Priceline made me wait over 3 hours and no room!
On 3/4/2023 I booked two days at the Super 8 Hotel in Milbury, Ohio. When I got there the entrance was blocked almost damaged my car, property did not have proper lighting I almost ran into construction, and there were old appliances dumped in the parking lot. I had to search for the office when I found it there was no one there! Priceline had me on the phone for three hours and did not want to give me my money back and when I called, they kept hanging up the phone saying they were notifying their supplier. It was after midnight when I got another sleezy room. I also stayed in a room at Red Roof where I was locked out before check out and I needed my purse. It was 1030 am. They offer coupons that do not ever work!
Desired outcome: MONEY RETURNED!
Customer service
Booked a vacation through Priceline for myself and my girlfriend, Priceline failed to inform us of airline fees charged by the airline until after the change day, causing us to pay an additional $100 each to the airline, this should have been told to us before booking, when asked about it Priceline customer service told me that the additional costs would have to be taken care of by the airline and they would not do anything for us. DO NOT use Priceline for anything if you want for things to go smooth use Another booking site. Priceline Sucks
Desired outcome: What I paid for no additional costs
I'm sorry to hear that you had a negative experience booking your vacation through Priceline. However, it's important to note that airlines often charge additional fees for a variety of reasons, including baggage, seat selection, and body weight. It's possible that the fees you incurred were due to your weight, and it may be worth considering implementing some healthy diet and exercise habits to reduce those costs in the future. In any case, it's always a good idea to carefully review the terms and conditions of any booking before making a purchase to avoid any unexpected costs or fees.
Refund request - trip number : 244-640-845-17
I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the delayed refund for a cancelled flight ticket. I had booked a flight through Priceline, which was later cancelled by me due to unforeseen circumstances. Since then, I have been waiting for my refund, but it has been several weeks, and I am yet to receive it.
My booking details are as follows:
Trip Number : 244-640-845-17
Ticket Number: [protected]
Flight details: CMB to DOHA on 08.February. 2023
I have been in touch with your customer support team several times regarding this matter, but I have not received any satisfactory response. I was informed same day of cancellation on 06.February.2023 that the refund would be processed within 03 business days, but it has now been approximately a month, and I have not received any update.
I understand that cancellations and refunds can take some time, but this delay is unacceptable. I have been waiting patiently for my refund, but the lack of communication and delay in processing the refund is causing me inconvenience and financial hardship.
Regarding this i tried many time to contact the customer service center, Still saying that my refund is in progress by airline. but the Emirates airline says that the amount was voided by agent and contact with agent.
i have attached the snapshot of conversation between me and priceline agent and emirates airline for your understanding.
I request you to look into this matter urgently and provide me with an update on the status of my refund. I hope to receive a prompt resolution to this issue.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Fly reservation and changes
I am 71 years old and due to a medical complication, I am forced to reschedule my return to the US. My booking on LuftHansa flight Priceline #[protected] I am currently in Poland and have tried to contact customer service many times but waiting times and frequent disconnections make it difficult for me to make a change. I wanted to change to a flight from Warsaw to Philadelphia from @ March to March 12 or 14, 2023. After 25 minutes of translation, (bad english) I was told that the change would cost $250 due to the difference in ticket prices. However, before making the change, after 50 minutes of waiting, the price was changed to ...$600 ...? I would like to point out that the current price for a round trip tp flight is 700-900 dollars. Please provide justification for such treatment of the client.
Priceline customer service
Hi, maybe someone can help me because apparently, I can't seem to get this issue resolved by the customer service reps that I have been dealing with.
On 1/9/23, I contacted Priceline to cancel a scheduled trip due to a family emergency. I was told that I could not get a refund on the airline tickets, however, I would be issued a credit to be used by 10/23. There would also be a penalty of $99 per ticket plus any difference between the amount of the ticket. This was not an issue because I knew that I would be traveling again soon.
I called on 2/24/23 to rebook. I was told a bunch of things by numerous representatives.
1. I could book directly with United. When I called United they could see that there was a credit but the amount was not showing up because Priceline had not released the entire credit info to them. So I would need to deal with Priceline.
2. I called Priceline back and was told that the credit could only be used for an International Flight. I stated that this was never told to me and made no sense. A credit is a credit and was not specific to a destination.
3. Then I was told that an error had been made by a customer service rep and they would work on it. The call got dropped and within a few minutes, I received an email stating that a refund was processed for one of the tickets. I was ok with this because I assumed in a matter of minutes, I would receive another email stating that the other ticket was being refunded also. This never happened.
4. I call back on 2/25/23 to find out what was going on with the remaining $652.06. I was told that it was still a credit. Again, I didn't care that much, I just wanted to rebook for the 2 tickets using the credit and I would pay the difference. I was told that I couldn't book two tickets because the credit was for one ticket. I tried to explain to them that the original purchase was for 2 tickets and I wanted to purchase 2 tickets again. I don't want 2 different reservations for my husband and I. I never requested that they refund the other ticket because that was never given to me as an option at the onset. I simply just wanted to have the credit and use it within the timeframe that had been stated to me.
On 2/26/23, the last customer service rep, Jasper, Operator # RJ, stated that there were possible options available:
1. Rescind the refund and proceed with the rebooking
2. Process the remaining balance as a refund and let me start over.
I need a speedy resolution because airfares are going up every day. This is nonsense and should have been an easy resolution. I would genuinely appreciate some assistance to this matter. I am attaching the emails that I was sent from Priceline.
Desired outcome: I would like to either get the other portion of my credit refunded or be able to rebook my reservation for 2 ppl using the existing credit and paying the difference.
Price line and its rental car service nu car rentals.
A day or 2 ago, 3/22/2023 I used Priceline to book a two day round trip to Phoenix, AZ. The La Quintana shown in their booking promo was nothing like the real place. The real place was very, very old. In a hard drug use, panhandling area. The "complimentary" breakfast was plastic wrapped rolls, terrible coffee and little if any seating area. The car rental company they used, NU Rental Cars didnt have an office at Sky Harbor Airport. You had to call email them to be picked up. Tried both options twice with no response. Ended up renting one of the last cars at Fox Rentals for 300 bucks for one day! Never again in my life time will I use Priceline again.
Desired outcome: Would like my 300 bucks back

I am sending you pictures so you can see for yourself.
