a rude manager; unethical behavior
I went to the Publix on Furrys Ferry, and I saw the manager Rick Willis berate a deaf employee and taunt her because of her deafness!
Rick Willis is a horrible rude and mean manager, not to mention ableist. I was disgusted by his behavior, and I also saw him be incredibly rude to other employees. He harasses and taunts everyone he comes across. HE IS A GROWN MAN ACTING LIKE A CHILD! I can't believe a man like that is allow to keep his job. Surely, I can't be the only person disgusted by his behavior.
manager
Manager told customer service associate to humiliate my 68 year old handicapped mother . This just because they said they did not have her brand of cigerattes when they did have them. When finding out they had them my mother was told to stand in line again at the customer service desk. We have both been going to the store for 37 years Publix has invested the largest amount of money into the store and they treat their loyal year-long customers like crap it is unacceptable more people should do something about this.
The store manager's name it's Keith critelli and the customer service Associates name is Cindy they humiliated my mother right after going to see a cancer screening she sits in a wheelchair they should know better
tide pods
I went into store 1631 del Prado Blvd suite 500 cape Coral 33990. First off while I was shopping I asked 3 people where a product was not 2 of them never even stood up they just said it's over there. The other one just ignores me all together I said can I get some help he just kept walking pushing his cart. Finally found the product myself instead of getting someone to walk me to the product. I brought is some coupon's in and a Walmart ad that show the tide was cheaper. Then everything got all messed up I asked to see the manager he comes over and said we don't match Mal Mart price the said yes you do because you have a Walmart within 20 miles from the store. Than he started getting very ignorant and said that is Publix policy that we don't match prices from Walmart. Than I asked for his DM and he said I'll be right back he comes back and throws down the customer number I said I ask for his DM number as I said that he rolled his eyes at me and said I'll be back he never came back to the front desk for 10 mins. He is the store manager David zamzow and he acts like he doesn't know his boss phone number and it shouldn't have taken that long. Than he throw another card on the front desk with Ron Tennant phone number for his office with a extension number I said that's not asking for I asked for his cellphone number he said there's know way I would ever give out his cellphone number. Your company use to be able making the customer happy walking you to a product management with bad attitude I can say it not a pleasure shopping at Publix. Your company has gone way down hill it seems like its all about them not the customer and the service that your founder Mr George had if he was alive today is would not be going around he is probably spinning in his grave to see how bad his company has become. I can't wait until Kroger makes its way down here because they are going to put a spanking on Publix
service cashier

bakery
I went to the Publix bakery on Murfreesboro Rd in Antioch, TN about a month ago. I ordered chocolate covered strawberries. The display price was $0.89 for each strawberry. I was charged $1. When I noticed it I asked someone else in the bakery department about it and she corrected the price. Yesterday, 1/29/17, I go to the same Publix and bakery. As much a...

Since 2011, I'm working for publix, my complaint comes 5 years ago so far, talking to the head of the product department and the general manager of publix, due to the worker Brendy Davis since she is full time and we have two Working part time we do all the work she does not do all day, if we are part time we work full time the job she stops doing, we have running there and we are cutting schedule because of her, and above Of that the boss demands to us production thing that does not demand to him to be full time. She does not clean the floor, and when she goes to scrub leaves the keys open for 30 minutes throwing water, and when going to scrub the fruits does the same, things that we are pending, we want to know all the workers of the product department which is The preference that there is with her, we are working with much stress and a lot of intention because every day comes with different things, we do not want to work with her, she does not have good character or education since a worker when she arrives must have good cortecia and say good morning, Please we need to be pending or have a meeting with her to define the situation because with such a person can not work.

covering the picture of our next president!
My wife and I have shopped at Publix for at least 20 years. I would call that a loyal customer. Our son attended Florida Southern and as I recall Publix was active with certain events or help for the college. We recently moved to Charlotte, NC and were very happy Publix had moved to the area, until I saw the cover placed over President Trump's face! Of course we both complained to the manager at the store that we frequent in Mint Hill, NC and were told it wasn't a political move against President Trump, I'm sorry that just does not fly! Everyone knows why you did it, because some people can't accept the outcome of the election, I'm sorry, GET OVER IT! He is going to be our next President and we really don't like seeing a company cover his face like you did. And when will you companies and entertainers learn that when you give into one group you alienate another group, just stay out of it.
We are highly offended, what are you going to do for us now! See it just makes sense to stay out of it, now you have lost a loyal customer until you change this policy and I'm sure we are not the only ones. Please reconsider this policy and save us from shopping at Harris Teeter all the time now!
customer service
Publix supermarket in vero beach, florida, has just made a terrible mistake. As of july 3, 2017, publix has put a block on my bank-issued debit card.In all honesty, especially on a public website, I did not commit any crimes... I treat the employees with respect and politeness. I did not try to "rip them off". But, "out of the blue ", the management "red flagged " my debit card. Now, i'm permanently banned from using any debit card (Being debit cards are encoded with my name, bank, and account number). I've asked publix customer service representatives why my debit card is "red flagged " / blocked. They wouldn't answer the question. They just didn't give any answer. I wish to call on a boycott of the vero beach publix supermarket. It is store number 385. On the north-east corner of us 1 and 9th street south. This is a disgrace to customer service.

Readers : I forgot to add the fact that I checked my bank account to see if I had the funds to cover my purchase. I did !
As of July 5, 2017...Publix still refused to answer, apologize and make any comments. I wish to call a boycott of this store until Management apologizes and solves this problem.

unsanitary checkout belt
I have been shopping at publix for the past 8 years and in the last few months have notice the checkout belt are not getting clean or sanitized. The person working the register has to notices that it’s something that should be getting cleaned regularly and it’s unsanitary. As a customer it’s disappointing that management has not done anything. Customer are putting their food items on a dirty checkout belt and I have hear other customer complain but nothing is getting done. Very sad for such a great place.
Hope management takes action on this matter.
magazines at checkout
I saw online that you are blocking nat enquirer cover of donald trump. What is wrong with you? If you block him then block barack and his ugly wife, queen ellizabeth and paris hilton. You are wrong to make a political statement at the checkout counter of a grocery store. You do not care about half of your customers, wtih this insult, so I am done with your stores.
community service
I thought you were a "Local" business but when I asked if you could post a pic of my lost dog I was told that I could not. There is no community posting board except in the break room which is only for employees. Very disappointing. I sincerely think you could do better than this. You are my local grocery and you adds say you are "here for the community".
long line, too many items, in bag someone had their pet inside the store
I was shopping at Publix at 2515 S Florida Ave,
Lakeland, FL 33803, the lines were ridiculously long, only 3 cashiers opened, as I am standing in line, I see someone inside the store holding their puppy, I am allergic to dogs, and it was not a service dog. I asked to speak with a manager, she resolved the issue by asking them to go outside. When I got home, I'm unloading my groceries, and a bag tears because of the excessive amount of items were bagged, I observed it wasn't even double bagged. My Olive Oil busted as well as my spaghetti Sauce.
publix q-tips
I purchased two boxes of your qtips. One for me and one for my daughter. I use these to clean my ears, and i pulled one out of the box and not looking at the qtip inserted it into my ear to clean. I ended up scratching my inner ear to the point that it bled. There was not cotton on the tip. attached is a photo of the side of the box, and I ended up taking the others out. My daughter thankfully checked as she has a baby. She had problems with hers as well.
Don't you know you aren't supposed to clean your ears with Q-Tips in the first place? Secondly, what kind of a [censored] doesn't look at what they're grabbing before sticking something in their body? In the words of Trevor Phillips from Grand Theft Auto 5..."That is entirely YOUR FAULT!"
service
Cashier Karen 9/17 16:34 hours so649. R1057521co226. Started out ok. Cashier very chatty comments her day is dragging and she has training for 1 year review soon. No one to bag so I had bought the buy 2 get 1 free on lobster tails and leaking...went ahead and bagged those. She stated if I would please pay and she will take c as required of that. She seemed annoyed. I explained I saw them leaking but she didn't respond. Then she began hastily throwing stuff in together. ...I wasn't surprised because it's been HUGE ISSUE at this store. The throw pies on their sides, cans on top of boxed goods, pack frozen foods with dry goods (you get home and box is wet and falling apart so you have to throw out) and a request or complaint get attitude only. This time she thew all kinds of things together but it wasn't until she threw the bananas in with the can goods I had enough. No we are not going to bruise the fruit please bag the bananas separate, said. She did but with a haughty blowing out of air/noise and the rest of my groceries throw in with same rushed manner and complete silence. I asked if I'd forgotten to push the last button on the payment machine. Silence. Handed me a receipt. Monotone she quoted my savings and told me have nice day. Not the worst experience but the problem is this is a cancerous attitude at this store if you point out no pies on side. Chemical cleaning products NEVER get bagged with food. No not even cat food. Where was th a team plum or pineapple I bought? Oh under cans of split pea soup... I buy groceries for 3 households. I shop daily. I have and will continue to try and phase publix out of my shopping locations. It's clear damaging it once the customer has paid for it is standard practice.
publix brand yogurt not as stated
The Publix brand of yogurt called "Fruit on the Bottom" has NO fruit on the bottom! At least I know for a fact the blackberry type does not . That's the name of the yogurt which is not only mislabeled, but the ingredients listed says clearly "blackberries". It also says "blackberry puree"(juice) which is all I found on the bottom. Even if there was just 2-3 blackberries that would make it right. How do they get away with this? Bet none of the other kinds have "fruit" in them either.
I complained directly to Publix online but all I got was the standard reply and a $5 gift card. I told them not to send coupons as I would not buy it anymore so guess that's why they sent the gift card. That was about a month ago, and I bought some more this week to see if it had been changed, and it has not. That would be the same as buying peanut brittle without the peanuts. They can either change the name of it or start putting blackberries in it.
manager
I have never been so embarrassed in my life, the assistant manager at the publix in hermitage, tn. On 3 separate occasions has screamed at employees in front of the whole store, it was so bad the last time it embarrassed me to the point that I will never shop at a publix supermarket again, the assistant manager's name is mary ellen and every time me or anybody else in my sewing circle has talked to her she has been rude and smelt like cigarette smoke, really publix is this the best ya'll can do? You just lost 7 customers because of one foul mouthed common assistant manager!
The produce department store 53 need to be, everyone more around, very nasty, rude to Hispanic shopper, especially those three white guy, the short one, the bald one and the tall one name 'CAM trying to scare me into buying a bag of rotten grape at 3.50 a lb and the get into a heated discussion about it, how dare this employee try to intimidate me with his height and tone of voice, he ran up the wrong tree, I pay lot of tax money here in Holllywood and I will contack my state representive on this case, also the management was extremely rude to me and accuse me of something she fabricated, yes Mrs, Brittney has a rotten Attitude with the customer, no smile, no politeness about her with customer, I guess my money spend there mean zero to her, between grocery and lottery, maybe 1500 a months, will be talking to my lawyer even if I have to kick out 1000 thousand to file a motion for the stress your company has put me thru .
absurd flintstonian internet access policy
Access to www.publix.com is being restricted to ips that are ONLY in the USA. I live out of the country and wanted to check product availability in Coral Springs Florida as I and my family will be vacationing there for 4-6 weeks! I have run numerous tests (pings) from proxy sites in and out of the USA. ALL sites out of the USA do NOT get a response! The access is blocked. I am sorry, but in todays GLOBAL world economy, being US centric is completely absurd! Disallowing a non-USA access makes no sense! I lived in Fort Lauderdale from 1978 through 1991 and frequently shopped PUBLIX. I am beginning to wonder if I would/should continue! Competitors: Target, Wal-Mart, and Winne-Dixie do NOT have such an ABSURD corporate position... VERY, VERY SAD... fone: [protected] this is a Brazilian telefone number. davidstefanski at gmail dot com, this is done to avoid email address elimination if any. [protected]@gmail.com
You can't order online except from the Deli and Bakery for in-store pickup, and other than checking weekly savings ads and simply what products they sell, you can't check product availability as they are a grocery store and not a store like Walmart. Also, they are only in the Southeast of the US, so really, it makes sense that they wouldn't feel the need to accept foreign IPs. In fact, it's safer and greatly reduces online security risks. Go ahead and be the only person to never shop there again for that reason, they won't notice...
produce, watermelon
The watermelons at Publix, North Gate, Winter Haven, Fl are terrible. They must be old, I bought three seedless ones lately, and all three were a very pale pink, and mealy. I am very annoyed that I have to cart home a watermelon, cut it up, and have this mealy slush . I am disappointed in Publix, well, at least at this Publix which is near my home, I don't...
Read full review of Publix Super Markets and 1 commentmanager cussing out an employee
My son has worked for Publix for several years. A manager called him into the office and cussed him out. Is this considered professional behavior in the work place? I have an issue with this. There is NEVER a time in the work place to use this type of behavior!
unethical behaviour
My complaint is with an employee from Publix @ Pinecrest FL. 33156. A woman there named Christine Gutierrez who's a Customer Service Team Leader is a backstabbing 2 faced individual. She's only nice n polite when she wants to be & to whoever she wants to be. I feel that she lacks a moral compass & moral principles. She's a 28 year old woman who has a distorted infantile mindset when it comes to supervising. I believe she has insufficient qualifications to be a Team Leader or to even be considered a promotion to management. Behind my back she accused me of being rude & giving her attitude to one of the managers who was on duty that day supervising the store. She's all smile to your face & asks how you doing n stuff. But if & when Christine believes that an employee did something wrong in which technically he or she wasn't supposed to do, instead of bringing it to the employee's attention first, she'll tell one of the immediate store managers about it right away & then that employee she complained about will be called to the office not knowing first what's it about & why.
