Went to woods square and was attended to by Dr Chung on 16th July. Had 2 wisdom teeth extraction. The issue arose when the bottom wisdom tooth was extracted. Before that, I explicitly told Dr Chung that the tooth right next to the bottom wisdom tooth had a root canal procedure done, and was pending crowning. As such, it is very fragile and told him to be careful when extracting the wisdom tooth next to it.
He assured me he will be careful and it will be okay to proceed. As such, I went ahead with the wisdom teeth extraction.
After I had left the clinic that night and the anaesthetic effect had worn off, I felt a bad pain on the root canal tooth. To my horror, I realised that the tooth had cracked rather severely, at its side. As the clinic had closed by then, decided to head down immediately the next day once the clinic opened.
When I went down, the doctor appeared nonchalant about the issue. He said that it was nothing much. And he even showed me a photo of the tooth and mentioned that the back of the root canal tooth had cracked as well. To my shock, he said he could have caused that crack at the back, but not the crack at the side that I had went to ask him about. The crack on the back was even more serious it seemed. And he kept denying he caused the side crack, though I was certain it was caused by him as I had smooth teeth just before seeing him and I said I took a photo right before i did the procedure, and that I could show him that. However, he simply just brushed me aside. His attitude seemed arrogant and he did not apologise to me at all for causing all these pain and distress to me. He did not seemed to be bothered by what he had caused.
Hope this issue can be looked into. Not only on the attitude of the dentist, but his dentistry skills.
