Mixed Feelings About Quizlet
After reading various reviews about Quizlet, I have mixed feelings about this platform. While some users appreciate its ease of use and helpful study tools, others express frustration over the paywalls and limited features for free users. It seems like Quizlet has become more focused on monetization rather than enhancing the learning experience for students. As someone looking for a reliable study tool, I would approach Quizlet cautiously, considering both the positive and negative feedback shared by users.
Helpful site for learning
This website has helped me study plenty of times. The UI is very easy and organized. I would recommend this site and its app to anyone!
Helps with homework and tests
Lets be real. Quizlet has the answers for a lot of homework and tests. Personally I use it to make flashcards and test myself but it has helped me do my homework too.
-
Pros
- Diverse learning tools (flashcards, tests)
- Customizable study sets
- Wide range of subjects

- Inadequate features for advanced learners
- Potential for inaccurate or low-quality content
I LOVE THIS
Even though I don't have a test, I still like to do this. This is the best website for people, for everything. You don't have to write anything or waste your hand. I CAN'T STOP SAYING THIS IS THE BEST WEBSITE FOR EVERYTHING
Oh hell yeah
It all started when I got assigned an edgenuity class in school. I thought I was burning in hell and wanted to kill myself. But then I saw the light. Quizlet extended its godly hands and pulled me from the hell that edgenuity is. I could think clearly and knew what I had to do. It was like Jesus had spit on my eyeballs to clean them. Oh and by the way if your reading this look up the Holy Bibizzle and read some quotes im sure you will enjoy it.
P. s if you do end up look up the Holy Bibizzle and reading some quotes I swear im not racist its just a joke
Disappointed with Quizlet: Wrong Answers and Cheating Lesson Learned
So, I was doing my biology homework and it was really tough. I'm only in 8th grade, so it's not easy for me. I needed help to understand how to answer the questions correctly. That's when I came across Quizlet. It was my first time using it, and I was really disappointed. They gave me the wrong answer! I mean, seriously? How am I supposed to learn anything if the answers are wrong?
I learned my lesson though. Cheating never pays off. Now, I have to redo the whole thing because I failed my bio lesson. It's really frustrating, but I guess it's my own fault for trying to cheat.
Overall, I wouldn't recommend Quizlet to anyone. It's not reliable and it's not worth the risk of getting caught cheating. Just study hard and do your best, and you'll be much better off in the long run.
Quizlet: The Ultimate Study Tool for Students of All Ages!
So, I was watching over my friend's kid and he needed help with his homework. I had no idea what Quizlet was, but he told me to hack into his quiz because he thought he was done, but he wasn't. I was amazed at how helpful Quizlet was! It's a great tool for studying. First, you practice, then you use flashcards, then you take a quiz, and finally, you take a test. (He didn't even make it through the first step. Kids these days!) I wish I had this when I was in school. I even signed up for the ad-free version so I could practice my Spanish. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because I don't like that you can't revise an answer when you mistype. Overall, Quizlet is a great resource for anyone who needs help studying.
Quizlet Review: Great Studying Tool, But Beware of Email Overload
Quizlet is a great tool for studying. It has a simple and easy-to-use format that makes it perfect for students of all ages. However, there is one major downside to using Quizlet: the constant barrage of emails.
Once you create an account on Quizlet, you are in for a world of hurt. The emails will never stop coming. They will flood your inbox with useless information and notifications that you don't need. It's like they think you have nothing better to do than read their emails all day long.
If you're like me and you made the mistake of creating an account, you're stuck with it. There's no way to delete it and escape the endless stream of emails. It's a real shame because Quizlet is such a useful tool for studying.
But don't let that discourage you from using Quizlet. If you don't create an account, you can still use it offline without any problems. You don't need an account to access all of the great features that Quizlet has to offer.
Overall, I don't have anything against Quizlet or its creators. I just wish they would tone down the email distribution a bit. It's a small price to pay for such a great studying tool, but it can be a real annoyance for those of us who don't want to be bombarded with emails all day long.
Quizlet's Paywall is Ruining the Site for Students and Teachers Alike
Quizlet used to be a really great site, ya know? It had a ton of features that made studying easier for students and assigning work easier for teachers. But now, they're tryna make people pay for a monthly subscription and it's really not cool. They keep lockin' features behind paywalls and it's makin' it harder for everyone. First, they made you see more ads, which was annoying but whatever. But now, they're interruptin' your studying entirely with ads. Like, come on, man! Ain't nobody got time for that! And don't even get me started on how they're lockin' modes like Spell and Learn behind the subscription. That's just messed up.
It's like they're sayin' "pay up or fail your classes." It's not fair to students who can't afford it and it's makin' it impossible for teachers to use the site. It's a real shame 'cause Quizlet used to be so helpful, but now it's just a money grab.
Quizlet: The Ultimate Study Tool for Students
I'm a student in the 8th grade and I'm currently taking Spanish 1. I was surprised to find out that I had a test coming up in just two days and I was worried that I wouldn't be able to study all the vocabulary in time. Luckily, I discovered Quizlet and it has been a lifesaver!
I was able to study all my vocabulary in just half an hour thanks to the asteroid games on Quizlet. These games are really engaging and make studying fun. I also love the fact that I can easily review the questions if I need to. This saves me a lot of time and effort compared to just using flashcards.
The layout of Quizlet is really interesting and easy to use. I also love the fact that there is a fake test that you can take to prepare yourself for the real test. This helps to put off some of the stress that you might have before taking the actual test.
One of the coolest features of Quizlet is Quizlet Live. It's a fun and unique way to review your answers. It's like Kahoot, but with a different game concept. I really enjoy playing Quizlet Live with my classmates and it's a great way to review before a test.
Overall, I would highly recommend Quizlet to anyone who needs to study for a test or just wants to learn something new. It's a great tool that has helped me a lot in my studies.
Quizlet: The Ultimate Study Tool for Exam Success
When I was getting ready for my exams, I was always struggling to find a good way to study. But then my teacher told me about Quizlet and I decided to give it a try. Let me tell you, it's a game-changer! It's super easy to use and you can find tons of study materials created by other members. And the best part? Quizlet has some really fun ways to help you remember all the important stuff. All you have to do is click a button and you're good to go!
Of course, like any website, Quizlet has its flaws. For example, when you're creating a study set, you can only type in terms and definitions. This can be a bit frustrating if you're trying to study something that doesn't fit into that format. And sometimes, other members can include incorrect information in their study sets. So it's always a good idea to stick with your teacher's sets or double-check the information you find.
But overall, I would definitely recommend Quizlet to anyone who's looking for a great study tool. It's helped me so much and I'm sure it can help you too!
Review: Quizlet - A Free and Effective Tool for Learning and Memorization
Quizlet is a great tool for anyone who wants to improve their learning and memorization skills. It offers a variety of features that can help you study and remember important information. I get emails from Quizlet every week, which can be a bit annoying, but it's not as bad as the emails I get from Grammarly. Overall, I think Quizlet is an excellent resource for students.
I have used Quizlet to help me prepare for tests and quizzes, and it has been very helpful. Without this resource, I think I would struggle a lot as a student. I mostly use it for vocabulary, and I have been able to find everything I need. However, I have had a few problems with logging in, which can be frustrating.
One of the best things about Quizlet is that it is free. I have not paid for anything within Quizlet, but I haven't needed to. The free version has everything I need to study effectively. I have also participated in Quizlet live games, which are very helpful and enjoyable. They are great for a class preparing for a test or quiz.
Overall, I would give Quizlet a 4.5 out of 5. It's not a complete 5 because of the few small issues I mentioned earlier. However, I still think it's an excellent resource for anyone who wants to improve their learning and memorization skills.
Review: Quizlet - A Helpful Tool for Flashcards and Studying
Quizlet is a website that's pretty cool, where you can make flashcards or look at other people's flashcards. There's like, a ton of topics on there, so you can learn about pretty much anything. You can do all kinds of stuff with the flashcards, like practice, learn, write, spell, test, match, or gravity mode. It's really helpful for studying, because it's way easier to remember stuff when you have a picture and a few words instead of a whole bunch of words on a card. I think it works pretty well, especially since they have a "test" option and a "match" option too.
The only thing that's kind of annoying is that sometimes when you're writing an answer, they'll say it's wrong even if it's basically the same thing. I get why they do it, because they can't check every single answer to see if it's right or not, but it's still frustrating. They do have a thing where you can say if your answer is right or wrong, but some people might use it wrong.
There's also an upgrade thing you can pay for, but I don't know anyone who does that. I don't think it's worth it, because what else can flashcards really do? They say you have to pay to use bold, italics, and underlining, but who cares about that stuff anyway?
So yeah, Quizlet is a pretty good way to review stuff quickly, whether it's for school or just for fun. But if you're trying to learn something new, there might be better websites out there.
Review: Quizlet - A Supplement to Your Learning, Not a Substitute
Quizlet is a study tool that can be used to reinforce your knowledge of a subject. However, it is not a substitute for actual learning. Some people believe that they can learn a new subject or get in-depth knowledge of one from Quizlet, but that is not the case. It is best used as a supplement to your learning.
The best study decks on Quizlet are the ones that you build yourself. This is because as you add questions and answers, the information stays in your memory longer and helps reinforce what you already know. Additionally, anyone can build a study deck and post it, and you would not know until it is too late how much that person got wrong or did not verify as correct. One deck I used had two questions that were wrong, but that subject material was not familiar to me, and thus it reinforced two wrong answers. That is just one example of the ones I was aware of.
Building a deck on Quizlet is fairly easy and quick, but the overall interface is not good. If you compare it against Anki, Quizlet is a quick use and easy to build, but Anki is a powerhouse with extreme customization, but has a steep learning curve to do this.
The quizzes and exams on Quizlet are not very good. If you build a deck for an entire class or certification, it will randomize the answer choices, making it all but certain you can figure out the correct answer. This is not very good for gauging your readiness for a final exam or certification. I have not paid for the 'professional' decks, so maybe those do not suffer from the issue of All Choices Except One Are Impossible when 'practice testing'.
In short, Quizlet is a decent to good study tool if you have the time to make your own cards and to proofread and verify another person's set. If you are severely lacking this time, pay for study materials that are professional and skip Quizlet.
Quizlet Complaints 10
Annual quizlet plus disappearing
I signed up for Annual Quizlet Plus around the week of October 16th, 2023, and after the free trial ended I was charged the $35.99 but Quizlet Plus was taken off of my account, and it never came back once the charge was processed in my bank account. I tried to email the customer support email but it says it is not a valid email to receive mail. I called the support number but was sent to voicemail. This is extremely frustrating as I paid $36 for this and I can't even use it, and I was happy to pay for it because I need Quizlet Plus! AND I can't even seem to get in contact with anyone from Quizlet to help me!
Desired outcome: Quizlet Plus being added back to my account.
Quizlet Review: Still Useful, But Not What It Used to Be
Now, I gotta say, Quizlet ain't what it used to be. I mean, I used to love this site for helping me memorize all them Japanese letters, words, and alphabet. But then they went and took away the meteor game and the free learning. What gives, Quizlet?
Don't get me wrong, Quizlet still has some good stuff. The flashcards are still pretty solid, and the study modes are helpful. But without the meteor game, it just ain't as fun. And without the free learning, it's harder to really dive deep into a subject.
I guess what I'm saying is, Quizlet is still worth using, but it's not the same as it used to be. If you're just looking for some basic flashcards and study tools, it'll do the job. But if you want something more engaging and comprehensive, you might wanna look elsewhere.
Overall, I'd give Quizlet a solid 6 outta 10. It's not bad, but it's not great either. And with the changes they've made, I'm not sure it's worth paying for the premium version. But hey, that's just my two cents.
Unleashing the Power of Creativity: A Review of 'The War of Art' by Steven Pressfield
Every time I try to do something it tries to make me sign in. This site gets on my nerves when I'm trying to study which is what I don't want to be worrying about.

Quizlet Review: A Useful Tool for Studying and Learning, but Lacks Excitement
Quizlet is a website that I used to use a lot back in the day when I was in 6th grade. It was the bomb dot com, let me tell you. But now, it's not as exciting as it used to be. I wish there were more cool people on there to make it more fun. However, it's still a pretty useful tool for studying and learning new things.
One thing I really like about Quizlet is that you can create your own flashcards and study sets. This is super helpful when you're trying to memorize a lot of information for a test or exam. You can also search for existing study sets that other people have created, which is really convenient.
Another cool feature of Quizlet is the games. You can play different games to help you learn and remember the information better. My personal favorite is the matching game, where you have to match the term with the definition. It's a fun way to study and it doesn't feel like work.
Overall, I would recommend Quizlet to anyone who needs help studying or learning new things. It's not as exciting as it used to be, but it's still a great resource. If you want to connect with other users, you can message them on Quizlet or even on here. My username is jigglypoo01, so feel free to hit me up!
Quizlet Review: Useful Study Tool, but Needs More Development and Features
Quizlet is a website that I've been using for a long time now. It used to be really fun and exciting, but I feel like it hasn't been updated much lately. The games are still the same and there aren't any proper stats to track my progress. I even pay for the non-commercial version, but I don't feel like I'm getting much in return.
I really wish Quizlet would put more effort into developing new features and improving the existing ones. It would be great to have more interactive games and quizzes that are tailored to my specific needs. I also think it would be helpful to have more detailed stats that show me how I'm doing and where I need to improve.
Despite these issues, I still find Quizlet to be a useful tool for studying. I like that I can create my own flashcards and study sets, and I appreciate the fact that there are so many resources available on the site. I just wish that Quizlet would invest more time and resources into making the site even better.
Overall, I would recommend Quizlet to anyone who is looking for a simple and easy-to-use study tool. It's not perfect, but it's still a valuable resource that can help you learn and retain information.
Quizlet Review: Useful Study Tool with a Catch
no money to pay for this. Quizlet is a website where you can study and learn about different topics. It has many features that can help you learn better, like flashcards, quizzes, and games. However, I was disappointed when I found out that I needed to pay for Quizlet Plus to access some of the features. The price of $39.99 a year is too expensive for me, and I don't think it's fair to charge students for something that should be free.
Despite this, I still think Quizlet is a useful website for studying. The flashcards are especially helpful for memorizing information, and the quizzes can test your knowledge. I also like that you can create your own study sets and share them with others. It's a great way to collaborate with classmates and learn from each other.
One thing I don't like about Quizlet is that some of the study sets are not accurate or up-to-date. Anyone can create a study set, so there's no guarantee that the information is correct. It's important to double-check the information before relying on it for a test or exam.
Overall, I would recommend Quizlet to anyone who needs help studying. It's a great resource for learning and can make studying more fun. However, be aware that some of the features require payment, and not all of the study sets are accurate.
Quizlet: From Great Resource to Money-Grabbing Site - Anki is the Better Choice
in hell for what they've done. It's a shame because Quizlet used to be a great resource for studying, but now it's just a money-grabbing site. Anki may not be as user-friendly, but at least it's not trying to squeeze every penny out of its users. Don't waste your time with Quizlet, go with Anki instead.
Quizlet Review: User-Friendly Study Aid with Paid Features
Quizlet is a website that I recently stumbled upon while searching for a study aid for my school work. At first, I was hesitant to try it out because I had previously used Slader, which was completely free. However, I decided to give Quizlet a chance and was pleasantly surprised by its features.
One of the things I love about Quizlet is its user-friendly interface. It's easy to navigate and find the resources I need for my classes. I also appreciate the variety of study materials available on the site. From flashcards to practice quizzes, there's something for everyone.
However, I do have one major complaint about Quizlet. Unlike Slader, which was completely free, Quizlet now requires payment for certain features. This is frustrating for someone like me who is on a tight budget and can't afford to pay for every study aid I need.
Overall, I would still recommend Quizlet to others. It's a great resource for studying and has helped me improve my grades. However, I do wish they would reconsider their payment model and make more features available for free.
Quizlet Review: A Useful Study Tool with Questionable Business Practices
I recently heard about Quizlet and decided to give it a try. At first, I was impressed by the variety of study materials available on the site. There were flashcards, quizzes, and even games to help me learn and remember information. However, I soon discovered that Quizlet had acquired another website called Slader.com, which used to be a great resource for students to share and discuss textbook answers for free.
Unfortunately, Quizlet has now started charging for access to all the work that was previously done for free by generous students. I find this to be quite disappointing and unfair. It's not right to profit off of the hard work of others, especially when it was originally intended to be a free resource for students.
Despite this issue, I still find Quizlet to be a useful tool for studying. The site is easy to navigate and has a lot of helpful features. However, I do think it's important to be aware of the company's questionable business practices and to consider supporting alternative resources that prioritize the needs of students over profit.
Overall, while I do have some reservations about Quizlet's acquisition of Slader.com, I still believe that the site can be a valuable resource for students. Just be sure to keep in mind the company's questionable practices and consider supporting alternative resources when possible.
Quizlet Review: A Useful Study Tool with Annoying Upgrade Messages
Quizlet is a website that helps students learn and review material for their classes. It's a pretty cool site, but it's not perfect. One thing that really bugs me about Quizlet is that they're always trying to get you to upgrade to Quizlet Plus. I mean, come on, I'm just a broke college student trying to learn here!
The thing that really gets me is when I'm trying to review a set of flashcards and I get hit with the "upgrade to Quizlet Plus to continue with this set" message. It's like, seriously? I just want to review these cards for my upcoming test, and now you're trying to make me pay $35.99 for the privilege? No thanks, Quizlet.
I get that they need to make money somehow, but it's frustrating when you're just trying to study and you keep getting hit with these messages. I mean, I already have to pay for textbooks and tuition and all that other stuff, so it's not like I have a ton of extra cash lying around.
That being said, Quizlet is still a really useful tool for studying. I love being able to create my own flashcards and study sets, and the fact that there are so many pre-made sets available is really helpful too. Plus, the games and quizzes are a fun way to review material and make sure you're actually retaining the information.
Overall, I'd say that Quizlet is definitely worth checking out if you're a student. Just be prepared to deal with some annoying upgrade messages every now and then. But hey, that's just part of the game, right?
