Scam and con artist that rips business owners off
Scam and con artist that rips business owners off. Needs to be investigated.
I gave Radio Advertising, Inc
I gave Radio Advertising, Inc. $399 to run a public service announcement on a nearby radio station. But guess what? They never aired it! I've been trying to reach out to them through calls and emails, but they never respond. This company is a big fake! I strongly advise against doing any business with them.
Total scam
Total scam. They got our "account" in collections for a community service ad. We never did approve any radio spot, or any other form of advertising. It's weird they can't show us any proof of the recording. Really shady and unethical.
Total scam
Total scam. They got our "account" in collections for a community service ad. We never approved any radio spot or any other advertising. It's interesting they can't show us any proof of the recording. Really shady and unethical. This is exactly what they did to me, so I just wanted to say the same thing as ***.
I can't believe they're still A+ after all these single star reviews and complaints
I can't believe they're still A+ after all these single star reviews and complaints. I filed a complaint because the ad they "sold" wasn't even known to exist by the radio station that was supposed to air it. As a member of ComplaintsBoard.com myself, it pains me to know people can operate like that and have such a poor reputation while still being considered an A+ accredited business. ComplaintsBoard.com needs to do something about that or they'll lose their own credibility, as far as I'm concerned.
I am soooooo disappointed!
I am soooooo disappointed! Radio Advertising, Inc. was supposed to advertise The Salute to Nursing program and give a shoutout to our business and staff, but they totally dropped the ball. I talked to a couple of different people and they claim that it was aired. They say it might have been at a different time, but me, my fam, and my clients listened and we didn't hear a peep. I'm seriously bummed out and feeling super embarrassed. I kept my end of the deal and forked over $220.00 for absolutely nada. Ugh!
No company should get 1 star if they don't deliver the service people pay for
No company should get 1 star if they don't deliver the service people pay for. Like the others on this page, I was told my company would get two spots aired for $299. Thankfully, I said I would pay after the spots were aired. The spots weren't aired. They keep calling and sending collection letters to get payment. I told them about the radio spots not being aired (we all listened and our spots weren't played). They said they would follow up but didn't. I'm still getting collection calls and letters for payment. Yeah, they should be investigated after so many of the same complaints.
Total scam
Total scam.. Just like many other customers, I ain't no approved customer. This company contacted me 'bout a radio add for Heath *** promotion. They did a quick sales pitch for approval. I told the guy to send me the info and proof via email so I could review it for approval. But guess what? No email. No approval. No payment. Fast forward to 'bout 2 weeks ago, I started getting multiple calls from a rep asking for payment for the add that supposedly ran. I told him about our previous convo and how I didn't receive, hear, or approve any radio add. But he just kept calling, like he ain't getting the message. Then on 7/12/22, I got a letter sayin' it's been sent to collections. Funny thing is, it's a division of Radio Accounting Service inc.. Hmmmm, never had debt or been sent to collections, and my credit score is top-notch. Well, Radio Advertising ***, let's play ball. I'm game. Feel free to reach out if you want. Cheers! If I could give a -5 star review, that'd be more appropriate.
How does this company have an A+ rating yet has a 1.11 star rating from customers?
How does this company have an A+ rating yet has a 1.11 star rating from customers? In November this company reached out and asked if my company would support their Salute to Troops campaign. As a Veteran I said absolutely. To be air for 6 days total over a 2 week period of time around Christmas. I am not an AM radio listener, but when I invest money, especially as a small business owner, you can bet you last penny I am going to listen to AM radio to hear my sponsorship and hear exactly what I am paying for. I eventually ended up listening to the hour slot before and after my ads play time as I was not hearing my ad. Nothing. Emailed in to ask what was going on. Nothing. They sure want me to pay the bill though. When someone finally reached out, I explained everything and was told they would request a "Proof of Performance" from KBDT 1160AM. Finally, today 3/19, I get a call in the morning stating they had the "Proof of Performance" letter. A letter? Really? A piece of paper proves that my ad played? When I explained that a piece of paper means jackst to me, I can write anything on a piece of paper, doesn't make it true, I want audio clips, I was told this may be a problem as they have never had that requested before... This is radio advertising, not printed newspapers, why would any customer who says they haven't heard their ad played care what is written on a piece of paper. Not that it matters; they never sent the "Proof of Performance" to me. The only part of this entire experience was talking to the guy who initially called me to sponsor this... he was very polite, down to Earth and spoke clearly and seemed patinate about his work. The rest of this has been 4 solid months of nothing but an absolute nightmare. There seems to be ZERO organization, accountability, and there is definetly NO communication within this "company". Will NEVER do business with this place and have already put it out in multiple networking groups to NEVER do business with this place. Today, more than before, I feel that RAI Chicago is nothing but a scam. It is still mind boggling that as a 3rd party radio advertising organization they do not request and have Audio Files as proof of performance.

I'm being billed for services that weren't agreed to
I'm being billed for services that weren't agreed to. It was misrepresented to my company. I called the radio station itself, and they had many complaints about this advertising company. They no longer use them. They aren't giving me any paperwork to substantiate any correspondence. They put me into collections without paperwork, so I can dispute this.
This company is a total SCAM
This company is a total SCAM. They called my partner and said they wanted to "help support promote veteran businesses." They talked on the phone for like 10 minutes with some guy named *** about the opportunity. They didn't sign anything, didn't agree to any ads, and didn't talk to the guy again. AND THEN BOOM, they got hit with a $450 charge. We're literally on the phone with this company and they won't take off the charge. Total SCAM! I don't even know how they got our address and personal info. They're sending bills for stuff they didn't even do!
So there's this company, Radio Advertising, Inc
So there's this company, Radio Advertising, Inc., right? They called me up and tried to sell me some ad space for a good cause. I thought, hey, why not? So I paid for one ad. But guess what? They keep sending me invoices for more ad space that I didn't even agree to! Can you believe that? They even threatened to send me to a collection agency. After going back and forth with them for months, I finally caved and paid the invoice. But I made it clear that I don't want them bothering me anymore. I'm not interested in any ad space, period. Can you believe it? Just when I thought it was over, on February 18, 2022, I got another invoice for unauthorized ad space. Seriously, enough is enough. I want this to stop, if that's even possible. By the way, I'm a member of the ComplaintsBoard.com, you know, ComplaintsBoard.com. So, Radio Advertising, Inc., please cut it out. Thanks a bunch.

Radio Advertising earns a trustworthiness rating of 91%
Highly recommended, but caution will not hurt.

However ComplaintsBoard has detected that:
- While Radio Advertising has a high level of trust, our investigation has revealed that the company's complaint resolution process is inadequate and ineffective. I been contacted several times by Mike *** via the phone 'bout an outstanding balance for radio advertisin'
I been contacted several times by Mike *** via the phone 'bout an outstanding balance for radio advertisin'. He said the owner approved a radio ad over the phone in March. Our company has only EVER advertised once and that was with a LOCAL radio station who came in and recorded our ad. And that company even sent us the ad before it was released on a station of our choosin'. We also have a social media manager who handles our facebook, instagram and Youtube advertisin'. We most certainly DID NOT enter into any contract with Radio accountin'. Radio Accountin' is sayin' we authorized an ad, we never heard it, and it was apparently played on an AM station. No. We did not authorize anythin' over the phone and we certainly wouldnt have done so with out hearin' it and on an AM station. I recently asked Mike *** to email me a copy of the ad and he has yet to produce that. Most companies would even send an invoice with an amount due - I haven't received those either. A small business ain't gonna approve anythin' regardin' advertisin' over the phone from someone out of state and not require proof of an ad.
So, a few months back, I got a call from Radio Advertising ****
So, a few months back, I got a call from Radio Advertising ***. This guy went on and on about how they could help advertise my automotive repair business. I told him straight up that I wasn't ready to commit to anything, but if he emailed me the details, I'd take a look. Honestly, I just wanted to get rid of the pushy sales caller and had no intention of actually using their service.
Now, here's the kicker. My business is in a small farming community, mostly filled with white folks. And guess what? The radio spot they put me on was for some hip-hop and R&B station. Like, seriously? That's a huge mismatch and a complete waste of money. There's no way I'd get any customers from advertising on a station that caters to the exact opposite demographic of the people I serve.
Anyway, after that initial conversation, I never heard from those guys again. I didn't think much of it until I started getting persistent bills claiming that I owe $399 for three radio spots. They say it's my company's responsibility, but I never agreed to anything, and I definitely didn't give my consent to any verbal contract.
Honestly, this company should be reported to the *** ag for their deceptive business practices. It's possible they're even committing fraud or theft by deception. It's just not right, and they need to be held accountable.
This company is a total scam, they don't run any advertisements on the radio
This company is a total scam, they don't run any advertisements on the radio. They called me in October about running an advertisement for 2021 Breast Cancer Awareness month. They claim to be working with a radio station out of *** called ***/S sports radio. So when I got off the phone with the guy, I decided to call the radio station to see if they were running any special breast cancer promotions for local companies. They told me that they weren't affiliated with RAI and that they are not running any promotions for breast cancer. They advised me that they received several calls from other people who were contacted by this same company and that they are KCTE, not KCTE/S. So I blocked this company from calling me, but after 2 months this company has sent me a *** for 300 dollars claiming that they broadcasted my company live on air, which I did not agree to. I told the guy that I called the real radio station and that I knew he was full of shii, then all of a sudden we get disconnected. I'm so *** off right now, I don't know what to do. This company using Breast Cancer as a way to steal money from small businesses is foul. This company needs to be in prison. Radio Advertising, Inc. is a total scam they don't run any advertisements on the radio they are only out to steal from you. Call your local radio station to verify any promotions or special advertisements for local companies before sending them or anyone else claiming to advertise your company on the radio a dime.
I used this company for advertising and was approached by salesman 'Bruce' again
I used this company for advertising and was approached by salesman 'Bruce' again. He's really good at convincing people. I said I would think about advertising with them again, but I didn't agree to it for 2018. They sent me an invoice for advertising that I didn't approve. I sent them two letters explaining my conversation with Bruce, but they didn't reply. I called the radio station where the ads were supposed to air, and they said they don't do business with RAI. They couldn't prove that the previous ad I bought from Bruce was aired either. I felt like a fool! I asked Bruce for FCC tracking to confirm the ads were aired, but I still haven't received them after a year. I haven't received another invoice either. But the phone calls won't stop! I told Bruce not to contact me again, and if they try to collect payment, I'll complain. They call me two or three times a day from different numbers. I won't talk to Bruce and I won't pay for services without proof they were done. Bruce has been rude to my receptionist and even discussed my finances with her, which is totally unethical. I know there are limits to what can be discussed with someone who isn't the client. In short, I won't pay for something I didn't order (or receive, as far as I know) and I want the calls to stop right now.
