Seeking guidance on settling my account and closing it, I was advised by Rakbank's complaints department to transfer funds into my account, which I duly did. However, a transfer of 236.25 was required, leading me to request assistance from a friend in Dubai. Due to restrictions on transferring partial amounts, he sent 237. Despite having sent emails regarding the closure of my account, I received no response. Consequently, I made a fourth call to the bank, incurring substantial costs due to my location outside Dubai. During this conversation, I explained my situation and earnestly appealed for assistance. Regrettably, I was informed that I needed to withdraw the remaining 0.75 cents. I expressed my confusion, explaining the impossibility of such a withdrawal. I highlighted the account's blocked status and the lack of online access, given the expiration of my LCC. I inquired about the feasibility of withdrawing 0.75 cents, only to be informed that this was in accordance with the rules.
