I have a credit card that I wasnt able to pay on time, I called customer service ASAP as soon as a I have the cash to pay for it and asked them how much do I have to pay for it to be reinstated, customer service told me that a minimum payment of 3000 will do, I paid the said amount and then called them again the following day. I was surprised because now they're telling me that the account was forwarded to collections department and I have to pay the whole amount. What a waste. I told them I just paid the minimum amount due and how come I wasnt informed that its gonna be forwarded to Collections. I didnt get any notice from collections. Customer service doesnt know what to do and just referred me to collections. I called collections about the problem and they said I have to pay the whole amount right away or else Im gonne be BLACKLISTED. WTF! so this is how RCBC works, they aint gonna inform u about whats happening on your acct and then 1 day you'll realize your in a pinch.

Last Dec. 15, 2011, I was billed for the annual dues for a mastercard which I already returned unused. I have no need for another
card since I already have an RCBC visa. Pls. cancel said mastercard. Thank you.

Yeah, they are hell of a mess... I paid my account since December 3 of 2011, they said upon complete payment my card will immediately be activated (Im talking directly to a collections officer) it has been more than a month now and I still cant use the card! Ikaw pa ang kailangan magpaulit ulit na tumawag sa kanila and pagpapasa pasahan ka! Pag maniningil magagaling magsipag tawag sayo..pag nakabayad ka na at ikaw na ang mangungulit na magpaactivate ng card na BINABAYARAN MO NAMAN e mga wala nang pakialam sayo!

I really agree..No wonder they are giving their cards for some simple requirements..Now that I am cancelling my card, they said they cant because I have to pay some charges for that..I said I am not that stupid..I really dont believe in that company..They have the lamest and arrogant methods I ever saw..I hope everybody can read this..RCBC-BANKARD IS A NO-NO!

that's the same thing happened to me...I juz paid the minimum payment and a day after someone from their collections office called me and told me to pay the entire amount or else I'll be blacklisted...They don't want to have payment arrangement either and want me 2 juz pay the entire amount...Thanks for sharing...I won't pay them coz itz not sure f they will still activate my account... good thing i hav other credit cards:)

same with me ; i paid my bill on the 4th of may wasnt successful becoz they are offline and my due is on the 6th which is sunday but they will not open on sunday so i paid the bal on the 7th but until now theres is no payment landed on my account and yet my card was on hold. i email the complaints area twice attached with the receipt but until now i have no news; check my credit card today via online; theres a new statement of account and the balance still there with late payment fee plus interest and will due on june 15; i wonder if all credit cards are having the same issues?RCBC please be responsible; you should put customer first.

i have the same issue. I was not successful inpaying my bills ontime, you know people get their very bad year and that was mine. Got billed for 13k n called rcbc to send my bills @ my home address so someone will arrange my @ home n got nothing. I emailed them, still no bills were sent. Months passed n bill reached to 17k due to late pay n nterests, got a text from a collector that i have to pay 19k. I asked myself, y 19k?hmmm i cheked my OL statement, there I found out that it was only 17+++.++. Since I already got the money the day the collector asked for payment, i then paid 17, +++ directly to rcbc. Payment reflected the day after. Come may15 billing, the pay reflected but THERE was a late fee.. Hmmm. Its ok, whats 200++ compare to 17-, ryt? So i paid it using my savings account online. I tried to purchase a gift card online that costs 100php n u know what?! I got an error message that the card I am using is @ a high risk of fraud! Do u think a person receiving that kind of an error brightens dr day?! Greatness rcbc.. I paid in full. Though i had months of non payment I made sure I paid the full amount owed plus the interests. Your collector is not even honest intelling me the amount i owed. I emailed them to re-activate my card n another great news was received by me just today.

Collector:
We regret to inform you that no reactivation to your account as per our credit committee.

Me: any further explantion as i alredy paid you infull?

Collector: as per credit commitee

Me: is this the only explanation that u can give?

:::::i am just so upset taht i am thinking that they do not value every client that they have. They give more value to those people who owe them and pay the minimum amount so that they will get so much from the interests.

In my billing Aug 15 to Sept 05, 2012, I have this in my bill --Date of sale 07-19-12 IS3*WWWIS3CHARGE.COM for 39.95 USD, I did not receive any confirmation call from the RCBC representative, nor i order this IS3 internet product, we credit card holders are tied up to your systems, One thousand seven hundred pesos is big money on my part.Please have a look at my problems.Also your complaint section is defective, it cannot get a verification number.

Dear sir, madam
This refer to your letter addressed to me demanding payment for credit card you have issued in my behalf .

To set the records straight, i have not applied credit card in your bank and if ever an application has been sent to your office i strongly and vehemently denied it for it is spurious malicious and illegal.

I like wise condemned the manner of your officer who sent the letter for being remiss in his job since he failed to verify /investigate
if the applicant is true or not and the document submitted in support of his/her application are authentic

Much to my regret, should you insist on demanding payments for the said credit card, I will consider this as harassment which cause me sleepless nights. Therefore, i will be force to institute legal action against your office.

this is my case with rcbc: I started to have difficulties in payment since march, 2012. I could not pay the full amount but continuously paying the minimum amount due with its interest charges. It has been 7 months na ganun parati ang system ng pagbabayad. Now that I am able to finally settle it through their instalment program, I asked to kindly waived my monthly membership fee. I was surprised kase they replied to me negatively. They made a lot of money out of the principal utang I had with them, and that's fine with me kaya nga patuloy pa rin ang pagbabayad. Imagine, from more or less Php25K outstanding balance in march, I continuously paying minimum due on time yet I still have Php23K plus outstanding balance now! Ang request ko lang naman sa kanila is to stop charging me of the monthly membership fee but I will still pay it hanggang matapos. Hindi ko na nga ginagamit ang cc, nagbayad na ng napakalaking interest at magbabayad pa ng interest for getting the instalment program ngayon dadagdagan pa ng membership fee nang hindi naman pinakikinabangan ang card. This is not too much to ask sa kanila since nagagawa na nilang magwaive ng monthly fee before, bakit kung kelang nahihirapan na sa pagbabayad mas lalo ka pang binabaon!? they are unbelievable!

strongly agreed with all of the facts stated here, I actually gonna pay the whole thing and just get rid of rcbc all together, arrogant collections department and they are constantly changing everything the they will previously tell you. a bunch of A#%%^$

Hi all, I have the similar issues with rcbc, but currently I am wasted with their credit loan offered last December 2012. I have called the hotline and applied for the loan, the customer rep said it will take 2-3 days to deliver in my home address. After a week. I called again and made a follow up, the rep said that I am still going to wait and she will send a follow request. After a week again, I called and made follow up and the rep said, it has been delivered already. But I said that I have not received the loan check yet, but she insisted that it has been delivered and received according to her. So I requested a copy of the delivery receipt and complete report . Almost a month had passed and I already made more than 5 times call, rcbc did not call me back or email me. So I called again but they tell me the same thing. And 1 week after to my surprise they are charging me to pay the loan that I have not received nor used nor withdrawn. What's wrong with these people in RCBC!? After long hours talking to them over the phone, they tell me something that really frustrates me. They assume that I have used the loan already which in fact I have never received a loan check from them. Then the delivery receipt that I have requested only sent just today, upon checking it is from air 21 and the employee name indicated is Jonathan aranzado, the signature on it is not mine nor my husband's and the relationship column is unclear. So frustrating knowing that we have been using rcbc for a long time, and they have gained much interest from us, and then this they will do to us. TSK. I am not going o pay for it, I am not fool to pay for the loan have that I have never used. Get a life rcbc!

Whoever is expert in credit card's issues like mine, I need advice regarding the investigation and suing rcbc

yeah they have very poor customer service! client will not come back for business with them because of the kind of treatment they gave to their customers..even i would not recommend them. After all it's them who needs client.. Shame on YOU!

probably the worst bank of all time... my friend is having a hard time getting back her money from this bank... if you are still planning to open an account with RCBC? FORGET IT! i suggest you go to the next bank near it...

I totally agree! They sent me a letter for confirmation if I still want to avail their credit card, It is written there that if they wont recieve any reply that they wont release the card and if ever I am interested then they will mail me the card, I did not reply at all hoping that they will consider it that I dont want their card, after a week, they have sent me the card and I definitely don't have any idea why...

I like to waived my charges for this month worth 7, 638.23, I have already paid last February 14, 2014 but the payment does not appeared to my next bill, I called already to the customer service but there is no one can decide they always asked me to wait after 3daysand call again...

Magulo silang kausap. Nakausap ko ung supervisor nila and he confirmed that this is the amount that i should settle which i did. I even called them kng posted na ang payment ko and asked kng wala na ba akong babayaran except my installment. Agent told me na okay na daw pero i was surprised pgdating ng next soa, may nagappear na ammount na dapat wala dun kc un ung agreement nmin thru recorded conversation ng kanilang supervisor na si mr. Jomar butcon na ung amount lang un ang babayaran ko (105k+).ive been a loyal bankard holder for 11 years and yet ginawa nyo sa kin to?ni minsan hindi ako nalate sa payments ko at hindi ako nging delinquent payor. After this tatapusin ko lng mga installment ko and then ill cut this card!

i have paid my dues on time, but for some reasons, the bank was not able to debit it to their account and now they pester me by asking me to pay the amount or else they would deal with me in court. i have provided them (rcbc) fax copy of my payment three times but until now nobody is doing anything- all they are after (call center credit collectors) are the commissions they will get when they ask you to pay some sort of amount to reconcile the credit account. Now the bank continue to slap me with more fees for not paying on time.
if you are on my shoes, what would you do ?

Napakagandang umaga ang sumalubong sa akin nang mabasa ko ang e-mail ko galing sa Collection Group ng Bancard. Pinutol na raw nila ang serbisyo ng RCBC Bancard Infinite Visa card ko. kasi:
1. hindi nila hinanap ang bayad ko na ni remit ng RCBC. wala daw natatanggap ang collection. kahit naibigay ko na thru FAX ang resibo ay wala silang ginawa dito.
2. nagtuturuan ang RCBC at Bancard Collection kung nakanino ang ibinayad ko.
3. sa dami ng collector agents na nakausap namin ay wala ni isa man ang nakatulong sa problema ko. puro kumisyon lang ang habol nila.
Kapag nabayaran daw ang kabuuang utang ay bubuhayin ang card ko. Kasalanan nila pero ako ang pinurwisyo nila, at ipinahiya pa. Bakit iyong isang card ko walang problema? pero baka isara ko na rin dahil mahirap pala silang kausap. Year 2000, nag retire ako sa PAL at sa RCBC ko inilagay ang lahat ng pera ko. Sa 2016, mag re retire ulit ako pero maghahanap na ako ng ibang bangko para ilagak ang pera ko. Marami rin akong kakilala sa Bayan namin, baka may problema din sila...

Can you actually apply credit card even you give a false address? I have received a letter from RCBC which is actually for the subscriber's PIN. I own the place, and haven't an idea of this person is using my address. How is this possible?

After reading all the comments, I am convinced that either their hired collection agency or the company have a bad business etiquette. But anyway I just hope my complaint will be taken consideration for the good of RCBC. Yesterday at about 5:05pm, a male caller using land line nr 688-1888 claiming to be from RCBC asked me if I settled my bills with them. I informed the caller that I will settle soon. He asked me when will I settle it. I answered him "later" since I just arrived from Korea and not sure of my available time to visit RCBC. He insisted of demanding me to give him a exact date. I told him that I can not give him the exact date but I will settle it as I have done before. Hethen told me sarcastically "maayos ang serbisyo ng RCBC sa inyo, dapat magbayad kayo ng maayos. I told him ayosin nyo kasi ang pagbigay ng billing. Iba nga ang billing nyo na pinapadala sa text kumpara sa actual billing. Then I disconnected the call.
Ganito ba talaga magtrato ang RCBC sa mga client nila? In the first place, I have not yet reach my credit limit and I am paying and very much willing to pay my overdue accounts with the corresponding penalties/interest. I hope RCBC will also screen those people who are in contact with their clients and have them undergo a customer satisfaction course. That caller doesn't deserve to be with the business community.

This is in connection with my annual membership fee of 2, 500 with card no. [protected], and the annual fee of 950.00 of my supplementary card no.[protected] 1101 assigned to Hermogenes D. Laglagaron. In this regard I would like to request that the two annual fee be waived. This is also to inform your office that I was issued an infinite card . Is it possible the I would only maintain one card to avoid double annual fee. Hoping for your consideration and approval. Thank you.

Dear Collection Group,
I am also one of the card holders of RCBC Instacard Visa Classic. I just would like to verify things regarding the collection letter being sent to me. . .I am being ask to pay for something like for insurance. . . How can I pay when I don't even have seen any single policy regarding that insurance? Should I pay things which I haven't seen. . .? Several times have I attempted to connect through the help of an employee of RCBC-Iloilo but I wasn't able to get a chance to talk to any of the account people, at your end. . ..Now, you are sending me letter of demand? Do check, please. . .

hay nko meron pa nga yun super visor na c chuck akala nia cguro malalamangan nia ko tatakutin pako SUBUKAN MONG WAG MAGBAYAD. tang ina mo! takot na takot ako sayo! parang pera mo yun inutang ko ha at pag aari mo ang rcbc [censor].. ungas! chuck bakla boba! hindi ganyan ang maniningil dapat maayos ka magsalita eh kung wala ako balak magbayad edi sana di na kita tinawag tawagan para i follow up ang contract natin. bobo. at dahil sa ka bobohan mo hindi nko lalo magbabayad.

I have been a RCBC credit card's holder for many years, both with Visa and Mastercard. I use them extensively, up to several thousand dollars a month. For 6 months now, my card are systematically declined, even with my credit intact (Amazingly exactly when RCBC is changing their system to ECV integration...) I demanded a month ago, to have my 2 cards replaced. They told me I then cannot use my "old" cards, and have to wait for the new ones. As usual, they swore that I would receive them within 11 to 15 banking open days, which makes 2 to 3 weeks. After a month, nothing... I call them, and the woman just "apologize for the inconvenience" (this should be Philippines' motto...) and tells me that the cards have not been sent, and that I will have to wait 10 to 15 open banking days... If I ever did not pay my bill, I would have them on my back 7/7 and 24/24, but when it comes to them, they don't give a damn about customers... One sure thing... As soon as I receive them, I will be happy enough to bring them to the closest RCBC outlet, and get rid of them... There are other banks !

Dear Mr. Jayson, and RCBC Customer Service,

First of all I would like you to know that I am receiving the calls from your collections agents, and I am not barring their calls. In fact, I am answering calls from your credit collections team 5x a day. As I thought and as they were explaining, that the discussions are recorded, it is quite alarming for me to receive 5 calls a day. Is it not an arrogance on the side of you collection officers? I have been using RCBC for more than a year now, and it is only now that I have failed to pay my due amount. I keep on telling the collection officers that keeps on calling my lines that I am jobless as of the moment, and I am looking for jobs everywhere, so having calls from time to time is quite disturbing. How can I grab a job if I am on an interview and your agent keeps on calling? It was a week ago when I told one of your agents to "Please sum up all the fees and charges for the late payment, and I will pay them right away when I find a job." I even begged literally to take it on note. This is why I am quite disappointed with your agents that this has to come to a Law suit? I am a good user and a good payer of RCBC for more than a year and this is what I get as an aftersales service from your team? Please tell me where to go and I will set an appointment with RCBC management and your law firm to discuss, just in case that you again failed to put this on record. Again, I would like to repeat, I'm begging you, Please tell me how will I send a promissory note to RCBC, stating the promise to pay "ALL THE DUES, INCLUDING THE FEES AND CHARGES INCURRED DUE TO LATE PAYMENT." What's more alarming is this scandalous letter that you have sent to our house, as if you're informing my parents that I'm running away from my liabilities from you. I have past dues with my other banks, as mentioned, I do not have a job to get any payment for you or for the other banks, but I DO NOT GET THIS KIND OF TREATMENT. you may call me thru my mobile first thing in the morning tomorrow to ensure to you that I am not dropping any calls from any one, as I am waiting for calls from the companies where I am applying at. Just to add, since I am really disappointed on this kind of treatment, please also do put on note, that after I secure myself a job, I will pay all the dues, fees and penalties, and will pay all the sum within a year's time, and after I paid all my debt to your company, I will, please note on this, I will request for closure or cancellation of my credit card account from your bank. Me and my whole family will never use any facility from your bank ever again.

I will be waiting for a call from your office tomorrow.

In my case naman, since tamad ako to open SOA emails and simply wait for text messages for payment reminders, bayad ako ng bayad ng 3k every month kasi napapabayaan ko din minsan pala yung due date. Pero napansin ko bakit hindi bumababa..so I called na..I found out na one year na pala na nag-aautomatic debit daw ng certain amount dahil daw naka-avail ako ng RCBC CARD FOR LIFE. Umabot ng 17k na ung debt ko dahil doon. I dont remember agreeing to that, so sabi ko please send me naman ung recording na nag-agree ako dun (feeling ko kasi nang-epal epal lang ako nun). Never sila mag-send to prove it. I have called them paulit-ulit begging them to cancel yung insurance kasi may insurance na naman ako. At first ayaw pa ako icancel, sa june lang daw pwde mag cancel pag anniversary na nung insurance. Naka-ilang email ako bago nila icancel..so anyways, ginagapang ko and hopefully last payment ko na and icacancel ko na totally yung credit card. I dont want anything to do with RCBC na. It felt like naloko ako into availing yung hindi ko kailangan and they didnt even send me the policy after para na-inform ako agad at naagapan kong macancel. Nagsend lang sila nung nagwawala nako..which was more than a year ko na pala binabayaran. Sana may makabasa nito and makatulong ako before ka magdecide. Dapat nagbasa din ako ng mga ganito before.

Latest statement of account on my RCBC Bankard No. [protected] total balance due is P2, 136.56. Why is Netflix.com dated 5/21/18 amounting to P550.00 charged again to my account? This has already been paid on my previous bills dated 6/14/18 and 9/13/18. Kindly check your records.

I paid my outstanding balance of 4, 910.19, today dated March 28, 2019, for the Easyterms program, my requests is that I must have a copy of certificate of full payment to clear my name that I have no outstanding balance from bankard, I no longer used this card, and my capital loan is 65k, I hope this merits action as I have been a good payor to this card, I inquire to a customer service that tells me that my payment stop on NOVEMBER 2018, and I paid, and reported to customer service that the officer who talk to me, that I am done my payment till Nov.2018.I have a bad experiences if only my loan and my purchases can be seen in the statement and the remaining balance, nowhere it can be seen in the statement account always the amount to be paid is typed clearly and legibly.This is the problem not knowing the remaining balance, I hope the system will be corrected, your client did not benefit its one sided, I am responsible card holder I sometimes used this card buying medicine, the long payment is the problem, when its gonna stop puzzles me.my name angelacahiligwong@gmail.com

I have experience harassment by calling my number, why? the payments I paid I know is aboveboard to what I loan and purchased, Your services are not good to a client who practices good faith, It seems I paid to those clients who are not good debtors that's my impression, I hope this practices must stop its one sided you lose good client, I now monitoring my 2 other card, and I inquired for the duration of payment, I hope they will send a letter I am done paying, this June 2019, a cash loan of 65k.

I HAVE THE 3RD CARD WHICH IS LOCK UP FOR 1 YEAR PAYMENT, AFTER GRANTING 65K RCBCBANKARD OFFICER CALL ME THAT MY PAYMENT WILL BE FOR 2YEARS ANOTHER CALL 3YEARS, MESSY IN YOUR SYSTEM AND OFFICERS WHY? THEY KNOW MY CARD AND BULLY ME WITH THAT PAYMENTS, I DO NOT USED THIS CARD ANYMORE, I NOW USED THE NUMBER FOR PAYMENT ONLY, I AM WAITING THAT I CAN BE DONE PAYING TROUGH HONEST PAYMENTS, 2 CARD ACCOUNTS, GRABE ANG TRUSTS NI BANKARD SA AKIN, JUST REMEMBER I AM MONITORING MY PAYMENT, THANK YOU, GOD BLESS YOU TO DO HONEST WORK.
