Redbox Pornographic content and exploitation of underage girls.

I am a registered nurse and rented the movie Red Rocket out the Comedy section of red box. I have traveled for many years for work, and I work in the ER and ICU. I have seen a lot in my 45 years . This movie was pornographic and promoted underage sex as well as the exploitation of young girls and women. I find it disturbing that red box is promoting an adult film with this content and will do my best get the message out. There are enough horrible things in this world, and you contributing to the demise of not only families and children by allowing this to infiltrate our homes, but the demise of this country who needs positive encouraging programing and support to enhance moral and ethical behavior in todays world. From one front line worker, woman, parent, child, sibling, and partner, and woman of faith, I request that this movie be taken out and that Red Box clean up its act and monitor more closely, as well as think about the effects of the content of these movies to our family unit, and country. -Thank you, Kimberly V. Redbox Unauthorized Charges after movie was returned on time

I returned the movie, Don't Breathe 2, to the Genesee and North Michigan at Walgreens in Saginaw, MI, 48602, on time, weeks ago and now the company is stating that I still owe for the movie. The movie was rented from a different location than it was returned to. It was rented from Brockway Walmart, in Saginaw, MI 48603. I was charged 10.10 on 09/10/22 and then tried to take out 23.71 on 09/15/22, of my account that is linked to the redbox system. There is no reason that I should be getting charged with late fees or any fees of any nature since the movie was returned appropriately. I want my money refunded to my account ASAP. I called customer service and they refused to help me in a way that was productive. Please help.

Redbox Kiosk rental - lost disk

I rented a disk at a Redbox Kiosk, and then lost it.

Fine. I realize I'm going to have to pay for the disk.

However, I called Redbox "Customer Service" and they told me that I have to wait out the maximum rental period which is 14 days, and then they will charge me for the maximum rental, which is about $35.

Now, this same disk was offered for sale for about $6.50 at the kiosk. I asked if they could just convert the rental to a sale and I'll buy the disk.

"No," they said, they have no way of converting a rental to a sale.

This is poor service. I'm trying to do the right thing here by reporting the loss in a timely manner and offering to pay outright for the disk, but there is no way of doing that.

Redbox has no complaint department, and there is no other way to contact them other than by their "Customer Support" phone number, which does not offer support other than ways to get you to purchase rentals.

Very disappointed. I will badmouth Redbox, whenever I can over this.

Desired outcome: Convert the rental into a sale.

Redbox Overcharges

Received three Redbox codes for free evening via email. Downloaded the app, reserved one movie via the app. Went to the location and the disk was not available? I went the second day and then the disk was available. So I picked it up took it home, watched the movie and returned it the next day. While I was at the kiosk I rented the sequel to the movie and used the other 'free' code that I had received via email. Took the movie home and returned it the next day. now I'm seeing two charges that total 5.97 the equivalent of 3 night rentals. I understand that this is not a huge amount but at the same time this is unethical. Tried to call customer service and I was on the phone waiting for over 30 minutes.

Desired outcome: no response needed, would like the public to know what to expect when they deal with this company

Redbox New Redbox releases are not appearing at my local kiosks.

I live in Amador County California and all of the kiosks in my County are now one week late in stocking Redbox new release movies, while the surrounding Counties all get their Redbox kiosks stocked with new releases on Tuesday.

This was not the case in the past, so why is it happening now?

Desired outcome: Stock my local kiosks with new releases on Tuesday as has been done in the past.

Redbox $68.58 unauthorized charge and taking out of my account

My Name Is Jamie Rice and on March 17 2022,I go to withdraw$150.00 from my cash app account that has just been sent to my account not even 10 Hours earlier from second job to take my son to his suprise birthday party at ChuckE Cheese and it's sad enough his mother is in the wind and we have nothing to do with her and she's helps with no finances and we never even talk to her, but instead the good dad I am I take it out my bill money because my son is such a smart strong intelligent kid who is only 4, goes to school and is as smart as a third grader to but anyways,I have not rented no movies in at least 2 years and espically a bill for $68.58,so I have seen y'all are having many problems,so as fast as y'all took it from me I would really appreciate it if you could put it back,thank you...Can some one get back to me

Desired outcome: There's only 1 outcome put my $68.58 back in my account,you should be able to look at the amount of money that has been taken and see something is not right.

Redbox Charged for movies returned that it says I didn't return

I got 2 movies to watch using a discount code for my birthday to watch with the kids. We watched the movies and had a great time. A few weeks later I returned the movies. Then I got a charge for $30 and $29.60 for non return of the movies. The problem is I returned the movies and the customer service is showing that I didn't return them. I have no receipt because I had no idea I was suppose to log in before returning movies to show that they were returned! If I wanted to own a copy of the Meg I would have just bought it for 8 bucks off Amazon or ebay, not 29.60 from redbox. I don't keep rentals, that's just rude. I returned them, and now no one will help me get my money back or help me show that the movies are back.

Desired outcome: Refund for the charges, $59.60

Redbox Movies

I was charged full price for a movie I returned. I rented vvt he movie soul for my kids. Although, I love redbox movies and rent then often. It seems to me I was over charged for the movie. I mean it cost me close to 30 dollars and I returned the movie back to them. I would love to get a full refund. I rented the movie at the red box a Kroger's in sulphur, LA. Thanks

Redbox I am complaining that u charged me 4 dollars for a few minutes late

Well I rented the mule movie from the rebox that is located at the family Dollar here in Preston Idaho and the next day I noticed the 4 dollar late fee for the movie in that case I should've kept the movie cause that's how much it was to buy. I want my refund amount of 4 dollars on my card by the end of the day or I will contact corporate office

I returned two movies today 11/24/19 at a Redbox that didn't process either return. I put the movies in the box in the 12pm hour. The disc seemed to fall to the bottom of the box. Redbox unauthorized charges

I rented movies for the first time from Redbox last week which were returned the next day. Since then I have been charged $27.47 thus far. Redbox is refusing to refund my money and refusing to remove my card info from their system. Help what can I do? Are they allowed to just take money? I returned them on time, how do I get them to stop charging my card without paying a $25 card fee. I don't understand...

Redbox charged me for movies I returned 2x

I rented movies back in 6/19 last time I rented from then as well as of October they took 40 dollars 3 months later I had in my bank acct and when I chatted with them to get my money back. They basically said theres no proof of return no refund. They are a joke and thieves. Do not rent from this company they will steal your money! They told me I really did not return them. Wow I have rented thousands of movies from them. I have not rented in 3 months and they took my money out of my bank with no apology!

Redbox abysmal customer service

Trying to remove a fraudulent charge made against my card on a Redbox kiosk. Called Customer Service three times and each time was given conflicting information and was told I didn't understand. I offered up ways to solve the problem and they refused.
My bank has told me the charge needs to be dropped by Redbox - and the Redbox reps said they couldn't. They are willing to charge a card they know they will never collect on. One rep said they try for four months and then close it but her supervisor said it is actually six months. One rep said that once I got a supervisor on the phone they could close the charge. Supervisor said actually she could not. After all of this frustration they blamed ME for causing them to "be a victim" and "lose money on stolen DVD's". Nevermind that I am the victim. My bank was able to prove that someone created a dummy card and confirmed that I was never in a Walmart 800 miles from my home. And these Redbox reps indicated that it must have been my OWN card swiped. Perhaps suggesting it was me after all? It is a simple issue and they refused to help. Refused to be patient. Refused to communicate even. NEVER in my life has a customer service agent hung up on me. So I feel I need to file this.

Redbox overcharged

Rented 3 movies on Mon 11/19,
$6.39 debited from my account!
Took them back before deadline on
Wednesday 11/21, card denoted again ! :(. Called customer service, she assured me that 1 debit was just an authorization, but money was still taken out twice, I tryed to tell her that
But she just kept repeating that it was authorization! Now it's 12/16 and still haven't gotten money back !
Going to call CS again, what a hassle

Redbox charges

I have many charges over the pass two years from you that I know are incorrect! I would appreciate something in return I have add well over $100 in payments just over tbe last year that are unacceptable and I want something done about the noticeable difference that I have been taken advantage of over the years. I just want to be compensated for the misuse of my money. I don't want to have bad feeling with yalls company I just want to be made whole with any trouble... You guys were able to take the money without conflict so I appreciate to be compensated with the same amount as well...

Redbox dvds

Yall keep taking money off my debit card for movies i have returned or already paid for. I want my money back. It has taken money off of my debit card for 3 weeks in a roll. And my bank will not put the money back on there because its a debit card purchase with yall it says. This is the worst service for a movie rental ever. Yall took 4 dollars one week the next week you took 25 dollars and this week you took 35 dollars. I want myoney replaced on my card. I dont rent movies for yall to just keep taking money out of my account. Thats taking away from my kids. And i dont appreciate it one bit.

Redbox returning movies

I tried returning movies 3 times this week and the machine wouldnt accept them! I am disabled and dont drive. Getting a ride is a big deal. I live in the country and its a long drive. Now, I have 2 movies, my account will be charged horrible fines, and my idea of renting a movie to attempt to relax and destress has totally backfired. Redbox~ you hurt me. I wont be renting again.

Redbox online chat

5/15/18. I won two Redbox coupons via the Safeway Monopoly game but they did not work at the kiosks at our location. The coupon states "valid at the box, redbox.com, and on the app." I attempted to use at both redbox.com and the box and neither worked. I contacted Redbox customer chat to find a solution. Chat provided a list of locations with the closest one 50+ miles from our home. The only support provided was telling me to contact Monopoly. I asked for a contact number for Monopoly or a contact # for additional support at Redbox. She told me to google Monopoly. All I asked for was valid coupon codes that work

Redbox never have I had a successful purchase from redbox

I bank with a credit union my first time renting from Redbox with this bank and they hold my money saying it's a pre authorization hold from my bank. I contact my bank, they tell me Redbox has requested the hold to make sure my card is active for use and lets me rent no movies. Now i have upset children because their movie night is cancelled due to all the money we had has been requested to be held. After talking to a chat agent. The agent just disconnected the chat without even letting me finish what I wanted to discuss.. This is very unprofessional and disappointing because every single time I want to put my bad experiences I've had in the past with Redbox aside. I'm presented yet again with another unfair and terrible experience with absolutely no remorse from the agent. Yet I get disconnected in the middle of sentence. I usually don't ever complain but I'm tired of being treated like I am not contributing to the company another sale. It makes people feel like you are just taking our money not letting us rent and saying oh well about it because some but not all of the agents just don't care enough to carry the issue process the way to the end, but wants me to check out the website for rewards and perks.. Really?
