Regis Salons / The Beautiful Group Management regis - northpark mall dallas, texas

April 16, 2018. Unbelievably rude service by Salma who acted like I was a nucience from the moment I walked in the salon. I suspected it was because she was in the middle of her own beauty service and didn't want to be bothered with me, but she didn't say anything other than for me to wait for her to rinse the toner out of her hair.

My request: partial highlights and a trim to my bangs. This would later be one of the reasons she yelled at me as I walked out the door.

Ultimately it took 2 hours and 48 minutes to do partial highlights — 20 foils. She asked me repeatedly to sit in very akward positions that no stylists has ever asked me to do. Even after quite a while, and an explaination that the position was hurting my back, she told me to stay like I was. If I had not had color in my hair at that point I would have walked out. But at this point I was stuck.

Back to the time — this was without a cut and without sytling. Just the color, a wash, and blow dry. Also, the product she put in my hair (identified as toner) burned my scalp. I kept asking her to rinse it out and her reply you ask — "there is no ammonia in there so it shouldn't burn." That's great — GET IT OUT. A stylist from another shampoo bay had to help me initially until she wandered over, obviously annoyed, to rinse it out.

Perhaps it burned because I sat with color in my hair for at least 15 mintues after my timer went off. Why was I just sitting there? Because my stylist disappeared; I have no idea where she went.

She tried to cut my hair, but I reminded her I only wanted my bangs trimmed. This was the beginning of the end. She was highly annoyed at this point. But I told her my son is getting married and I'm in the process of growning my layers / length out.

So she dried my hair and burnt scalp very roughly for at least 10 minutes before she asked if I wanted her to flat iron my hair. Initially I said yes, but when she turned me around and I saw the clock I reaslized it was 8:45 p.m. and I was headed home to bed. So I said, on second thought please don't bother because I'm going home.

She got furious and said I was going to have to sign a waiver showing all of the services I declined. Huh? I said wait, I'm not mad I feel like I am doing you a favor by not asking you to do this. It is 15 minutes before your shift ends and I really don't need styled hair to sleep. She started yelling at me that I asked for a hair cut and I said no, I asked for my bangs to be trimmed which at this point ARE STILL NOT TRIMMED. By now I am yelling, too that I am not refusing servies I am simply not asking for services. This place is a joke. I have never seen a more rude employee than Salma (not sure how to spell it).

Regis Salons / The Beautiful Group Management hair color/cut and toning service

I went into the South Portland Maine mall and my hair was turned gray by incorrectly coloring and toning my hair. It is now over processed and cut with a short layer into my hair (I said no short layers). I paid $144.00 and called the manager Tracy who scoffed at my call asking for a refund so that I can get my hair fixed somewhere else. I asked for her supervisor's contact information and she said she didn't have it. She later said she'd contact a supervisor and call me back (I didn't hear back). I've spent a lot of money so far trying to fix my hair and it's still ruined. I'm very upset. I hate to share on social media but I'm not getting any resolution. I'm not interested in going back there because I'm afraid of them ruining my hair any worse than it already has been. I want a refund. The stylist knew I wasn't happy and even admitted it was grey in color but told me that I needed to speak with her supervisor Tracy for resolution. This has not been helpful and this is beyond unacceptable.

Regis Salons / The Beautiful Group Management name change of company?

I have been going to the Regis Salon in the Harford Mall every week for quite a number of years and have been satisfied until just recently when Regis was taken over by "The Beautiful Group". I truly do not see where there is anything beautiful about is as all the stylists are now require to wear black from head to toe. It looks like a morgue. Could you not allow the stylists to wear their street clothes with a black (or other color) smock over them?
My main concern is the fact that I use my bank card when paying and always check my account to see that the proper amount was listed by my bank. Last week when I checked my statement "The Beautiful Group" came up causing me to get upset wondering if my card had been compromised. This past Friday when I went in I mentioned this to the manager there and suggested that they post a sign stating that this name would now appear on the bank statement. I was told that this was something that she could not do on her own as the directive has to come from the company. For a company that wants to look like a top notch salon I find this to be a poor way to treat the client who is your source of revenue. Why do you not try to look at other salons such as Aveda to see how a really top notch salon is set up and run. If I were the manager there I would walk out as it seems that she has no authority in that position!

Regis Salons / The Beautiful Group Management professionalism

I was in the Salon in Killeen mall on Feb. 17th. I was trying to have a nice, quiet, and relaxing time while at the Salon but that was not what the other stylists had in mind. There are 2 ladies there that are African American with blue or green hair color and they were the loudest most obnoxious people I have ever experienced in any salon I've visited especially a Regis salon. I could not even have a conversation with my own stylist because they were so loud and rude. They had no customers themselves and had no reserve for the 2 stylists that did. The other stylists follow in line with these two ladies and act out because once they left it was a nice peaceful place again. I am so upset I had to deal with such ignorance from a couple of women who should know how to conduct themselves professionally.

Regis Salons / The Beautiful Group Management hair service

Awful place! Yesterday I had an appointment at the regis in the oaks mall at 3:30 to get a relaxer done. After coming in 20 minutes early, I was met at the front desk by a very rude red haired woman who I had met once before.in our first encounter she told my white friend next to me that she had beautiful hair and turned to me and said "you would be dreaming to think you will ever have good hair". I took what she said with a grain of salt hoping I would never have to speak to her again. She looked at me right when I walked in and in a very rude way she said "what do you want". I told her I wanted the relaxer she had told me about a month prior & she told me to sit and wait for the woman who will do my hair. After a few minutes of waiting, the red head walked up to me and told me I had to do a $200, 6 hour treatment instead and refused to explain to me why. After asking her many times, she would only answer in very vague and condescending ways. Eventually a very nice black woman took the time to talk to me and explain the treatments. The woman with red hair suddenly ordered the black woman to stop talking to me and help the "paying customers" although I was a paying customer with an appointment. The woman who was supposed to be doing my hair came to me and didn't speak to me much except to say that my hair will never be as good as hers. She then began to explain that "people like me" will never have hair like white people. She spoke to me as if I was a child slowly telling me I have "ethnic hair" and there's not "magic miracle" to cure the mess I had, suggesting ethnic hair is disgusting and an unfixable curse. She then left the salon and the red haired woman turned her back to me. I sat and waited another 20 minutes before getting up and asking what I was waiting for since it was now almost 5 pm. The red haired woman turned to me and said "no one knows what you're waiting for, no one can make your ethnic hair happy here. You expect to have beautiful silky hair but people like you will never be able to have that." I began to try to explain to her that all I needed was a relaxer then she put her finger in my face and told me to leave because neither she nor anybody in "her" salon will do my "ethnic hair". Each time the black woman tried to speak to me the red haired woman shushed her and told her not to speak to "people like me". Is this a hate crime? Discrimination?

Regis Salons / The Beautiful Group Management unwarranted firing of good stylist

They hire young people without training them proper etiquette
Of how to treat thier co-stylists and how to act in front of customers. This orange haired young manager had no tact obviously and was always bringing her high school friends to work especially while I was there. I was told she was trying to get rid of the older stylist's jobs with her friends jobs. She did terrible job cutting and perms by customer reviews except her job was safe?! I followed my girl from another salon back from 5 yrs prior so when she left Regis I would leave too. This girl gave her a warning that by Christmas she will go. Meanwhile, I NEVER see this manager work! What is wrong w Regis letting great stylists go? Letting good customers go! Your loss Regis! Keep the orange haired girl because one day you will find out one day how she is screwing up and lying to customers. It may take the wrong one to finally write and complain. This district manager must be ignorant as well because I know they lost another one at the same time as my stylist just because they have been there longer than Shannon (orange haired manager). She is so wrong for the job! Wake up, Regis!

I had beautiful long, think healthy hair when I walked in the salon. I wanted a color retouch. I walked out with a lot less hair and my hair is still breaking off and falling out. This women put me under a dryer and told me 30 min later that she used 40 volume developer on my head! I told her to wash my hair immediately! Jesus, I was so upset, I just gave here 80 dollars, because I just wanted to get out of there and scream.

Regis Salons / The Beautiful Group Management credit card fraud

Regis hair salon qouted a price of $78 prior to getting a hair cut. When they were finished they asked me to sign a credit card receipt for $211. I investigated the pricing at other Regis stores, and they all quoted different prices, so you can not trust their pricing. the Better Business Bureau has been notified, my bank has been ordered to retract the money from their credit card transaction, and I am making sure everyone is aware of Regis' unfair business practices.

At the Fort Lauderdale Galarea Mall location, the employees at Regis also made fun of two muslim women who entered the store, mocking their religious beliefs and laughing at their clothing after they left. My own stylist was very vulgar, asking me what I thought of his homosexual desires, which really and literally made my stomach too sick to want to eat later that evening.

Nobody should support such a deceptive, vulgar, and unprofessional organization.

Regis Salons / The Beautiful Group Management harrassment

I work for Regis in Harford Co. In a group of 15 women working in the Salon Im the only prolife Catholic. The rest of the women there are the opposite of me and because of our different views I am a weekly target for harrassment. Name calling, belittling, they mess with my appt book and tell my customers that I know longer work there when I do (the list is much longer but these are a few instances). Its become very abusive and Its a shame that these women arent mature enough to control themselves. I feel as though I have a lawsuit being that it has become ritual and constant. If there is anyone who can further help me on the matter I would appreciate any suggestions.

This conversation is ridiculous lol. What does being prolife have to do with anything. It's absurd. It seems to me that some of you ladies are dillisional. Go get a job somewhere else instead of making absurd accusations about a being framed for a religious difference

I worked for Regis Salon in Schaumburg Il and everyone asked me questions about my faith and so did the manager... so they framed me and told me that the Salon was miss $5000 of Service money and said that I did it because due to me going home early 2 nights in a row due to the fact that I was getting over walking phenomena... and they wanted to get rid of me for my beliefs... we when i get to heaven i wont be choking on my popcorn when they see who really did it...

Its cause they are bleeding heart liberals who attack anyone for thinking different. The treatment has gotten worse and I have taken the last phone call from my manager insulting me and verbally abusing me. She is a very unprofessinal manager and should be fired, but Regis seems to like to keep managers that are not professional. Its a hostile work environment and losing customers everyday.

I can't really help, but it just doesn't make sense to me how religion can play such a large part in abusive behaviour. It's too bad that some people will use religion in such a way. I wish you good luck though.

Regis Salons / The Beautiful Group Management terrible haircut

I went to a Regis salon for a haircut, and nothing more. My own hair was about shoulder length and I requested a short bob style. There was a large photo of a beautiful short bob displayed on the wall, as is common with salons. I told my stylist that the displayed cut was just what I wanted. The style was not a perfectly even cut. The back was a little shorter than the front/sides, and had a slight wedge effect at the back. The shortest length to the back of the bob fell about to the hollow of the model's cheeks. The sides were evenly cut and slightly longer, at about the model's jawline. The stylist did a fine job on the front/sides of my hair, but the back was horrible. It was basically a pixie style, far too short and far too layered, and not a bob at all. In addition, it was flat. I looked like my mother might have strapped my head to a board for the first year of my life, due to the sides being cut slightly longer and fuller than the very middle of my head and also due to unnecessary thinning with thinning shears. It was awful! I said something about it when I first saw the cut in the mirror. I told the stylist and the manager that it was obvious that the model's hair was longer in the back, with a single blunt length falling below her cheekbones. My shortest length was above my eyebrows, and I had four layers of hair where she had only one! I didn't push the point at the time because the entire purpose of obtaining a professional cut was for a job interview the next day and I felt I was upset enough. However, after my interview I went by the salon and again stated my complaint and asked for a refund of my money. The manager told me that I would have to call the main corporation. The stylist, who was there that day also, looked me right in the eye and baldly stated that she thought my hair looked "exactly" like the picture on the wall. (Little sociopath!) I called the corporate office and was told that a regional manager would get back to me within 48 hours. It has been over a week and no one has ever returned my call. Needless to say, I will never go to another Regis salon again. Not only was the stylist incompetent as well as far too comfortable with blatant denial of obvious reality, the corporate policies are cumbersome and the management unresponsive. Good grief! Could it get worse?

Regis Salons / The Beautiful Group Management charged more than quoted manager was rude

I just moved to brooklyn park from st louis park. So, I needed my hair done and decided to go to the regis in maple grove. I wanted highlights and was told over the phone that a full head of highlights would cost me $65 with the stylist I had an appointment with. Long story short, I get there, get a full head of highlights and am then told that $65 is just for touching up the roots and it costs more for "long hair". The total was over $90.00. My hair is above my shoulders so I said, "what do you mean? I called and asked specifically how much a full head of highlights would cost and was told $65. And my hair isn't long?" even the stylist agreed with me and was unsure of why I would be charged extra for long hair. The manager was rude. So, I payed and left very pissed off. Next, a couple weeks later, I get a "christmas" card in the mail from the regis I used to go to in st louis park that says $10 off. It did not say $10 off any service. It just said $10.00 off. So I thought great, I can get some products. I drive over to the maple grove regis salon and the same manager was there. I showed her the coupon and asked if I could use it on products. She said we don't have that coupon here. The coupon was from regis salon? I said, "yes, I got this in the mail from the slp regis." she said we don't have the code to put into the computer to use that and that is only for services. I said well cant you call the slp regis and get the coupon code? No, it only can be used there. What the *? I just drove out here for no reason?

Anyway, so I end up walking out and throwing the coupon away cuz I am obviously not driving all the way to st louis park to use it. I'm really close to never going to regis again.

So,

Today I decide to use another coupon I recieved in the mail, this time from the maple grove salon. It was $5.00 off any service. I have a baby shower tomorrow so I thought hey I can get my hair flat ironed. I called and asked how much just a flat iron is with no wash or anything. I am told $10 or $15 for longer hair. I go in, get it only flat ironed, go to the register to pay and am told it would be $32.00. I was shocked. I was then told it was $22.00. The same manager tells me it is $10 extra to flat iron. I say $10 extra? What else did I get done I only had a flat iron, just a style. She said styles are $22.00. I told her I was just told over the phone $10 or $15, who told me that? She said I dont know there are a lot of people working here, so you can pay the $22.00 and i'll give you the number to corporate so you can call if you have a problem. I used my $5 coupon and it ended up being $17... For a flat iron. I could have done that at home I own a chi straightener I am just 9 months pregnant and didnt feel like doing it myself. I told the manager I would not be coming back there and she did not seem to care. She was also bragging about a trip she is going on to mexico since the company is doing so well.

Definately do not go there.

I was quoted a price of $16.50 for a shampoo, conditioner and cut. I arrived at the Salon in Hot Springs, Arkansas inside the Wal-mart. Which is not connected to the store. It is owned by Regis. When I got there the manager of the salon asked what I wanted done. I explained that I needed a shampoo, conditioner and cut! So she tells me to sit down at her station and proceeds to cut my hair! No water, no shampoo or conditioner. She cut it dry and only cut about an inch off. I told her I wanted short layers on the sides, back and I wanted my bangs cut just below my eye brows. I have had enough experience with salons to know that you never cut dry hair you should at least spray it down with water! Never going back and I called company head quarter and left my complaint. They said that the district manager will be calling me back within 24 hours. I am not going to hold my breath. But, if she does call I will ask her what can you do to make it right?

Actually, I, too was charged double for a hair service. Then, originally, the stylist told me that the retouch would be half of that. When I rescheduled they quoted me the double price agin to have my new growth treated... In addition, the stylist actually changed the strength of the formula she used without consulting me. Honestly, I thought my hair was going to fall out it was so limp and lifeless. I was afraid to do anything to it for weeks except pin it up. Man. I am having to consider doing it again, or just letting it wear off as much as possible and trying not to lose it. My hair is fairly long at this time, and I am generally sorry that I let her put the chemicals in. Yep. Sad.

That manager is a fu***** b****! Managers and owners are the back bone of the company. If you encounter a crappy one don't give your money to them. Sad, I live in MN. You should report her to corporate or her district manager. If enough complaints pile up they will need to do something about her. Your one call might not change everything but it will contribute. Have a friend go back and grab a pamphlet of their price and services. Sounds like you were a victum of false advertisement. If you type in Regis on this website there are a lot of complaints about that corporation. I would've never went back the first time I was over charged. There are a couple of cosmetology schools in the area that you could go to and they are pretty awesome. In the BP area, I have gone to The Salon Professionals in New Hope. It does cost extra to tone and get a good deep conditioning protein treatment. I should've done my highlights there instead of that ### place I went to. Next time you get a service always ask them about hidden fees and to give you an actual estimate in person. They can give off starting quotes on the phone but it's better to go in and have them tell you how much everything is in person after they have examined your hair.

Regis Salons / The Beautiful Group Management smartstyles/dictatorship over employees

My daughter has worked for this corrupted corporation for 3 yrs. She is a "top-notch" stylist/single mom who works her * off in everything she does! When she started there, she had every-other sunday "off". Then they fired their manager & she was the interim manager for several months. (with no compensation whatsoever, unless you count longer hrs. & no family time!) she's been "training" the last 2 managers now for several months (gee... Another turnover!) now the "new" manager's taken away all weekend days-off, no sick days & no insurance! So much for taking her daughter to church @ least every-other-sunday! This company is taking severe advantage of it's employees. You can bet your butt I wouldn't stand on a cement floor (they can't use mats, or even wear black atheletic shoes!) for 8-12 hrs. A day @ minimum wages for some corporate "big-wig" to profit off my labor! They worked 3 wks. Last summer in 100'+ degree heat w/no a/c! (let's see how long the corporate "suits" could hold-out!) in my oppinion they should all stage a "walkout" & see how fat the cats are then! Forget smartstyles, just call it "regis sweat-shops!"

It is sad that anyone would have to work in conditions they are not happy in and are not recognized for the work they do. I have been a stylist for several years and was working in a very busy salon located in a department store making very good money, until people started cutting back and then I got punished for not meeting productivity levels (we were commison based) and I was almost paying to go to work. I left that specific salon and am finding it vertually impossible to get a stylist job that doesn't require booth rent (I don't want to chance not making enough to cover the overhead). What I'm trying to say is that cpsmetology schools are putting more cosmetologist out there than there are jobs so the salon owners and managers can aford to treat the stylist like crap because they know that there will be 20 more knocking at the door to replace the one lost.

As far as working in uncomfortable conditions, people want their hair done when they want it done so a salon is going to remain open. A couple years ago the community I live and worked in had an awful winter storm and was without power for days, our salon was open (with generator) we did not have any hot water and beleive it or not people still were coming in wanting their hair done.

With this depressing economy, the level of respect for employees has sunk into an ocean of greed. It use to be that your employer looked out for you, acknowledge your hard work, and respect you. Working in 100 degree? There should be water and bathroom breaks. We are human beings and have biological limits of what our bodies can handle.

Regis Salons / The Beautiful Group Management human rights violation

Regis corporation runs sweat shops. Human rights? Naw. They got tricks!... One of the most famous is getting stylists to quit. Managers can not make decisions, really. The best way I heard it described (by a regis corp. Salon manager) was babysitting. If corporate wants you gone, for, oh, maybe actually expecting your human rights, the "write-up's" begin. Then if you quit cuz it's total bs, they don't have to pay unemplyment benifits. I'm sure this story is as old as corporations are. As far as computer or (credit card) tips, that's on the up and up. I like to think that there is a very, very special salon in the afterlife for regis exects. Only former regis corp. Employees will work there. Here's to hoping!

Regis Salons / The Beautiful Group Management no refund even with receipt

My husband purchased a gift cert for me for xmas. He did keep his receipt for a refund. However, he was not told and did not read the fine print that sll gift card sales are final.

So as requested I contacted customer service for mastercuts before posting here. I advised "sarah" the supervisor at cust service that I do not use their products or services as I have someone I already use.

She told me to "google" gift cards exchanges and perhaps I could trade with someone else who also has a giftcard they can't use. Well hows that for customer service, not really a "gift" - card. If I treated muu customers like that yikes! Imagine telling your customer, just google it im sure you'll find a solution. Get some real policies meastercuts! Shame on your corporation and boo to your trained supervisors!

Regis Chichester, i walked in with nice lengths to have layered ends tidied and sat down to wait for stylist, i noticed she was looking at me in a not very nice way and felt uncomfortable - should have trusted my instinct as when i sat down she started telling me she was angry and tired and instead of watching what she was doing to my hair i listened to her problems - when i got home I realised what she had done was cut one side short so that it was just sticking out tatty instead of falling longish like the other side, basically she was in a nasty mood so she had ruined my hairstyle, aside from feeling upset to have my hair ruined and looking horrible i also feel quite gutted at such spite and nastiness by a working hairdresser on a customer and it feels as if I have experienced some kind of attack - so, no, don't go there!

Regis Salons / The Beautiful Group Management unfairly terminated

For the past 10years I had been an emplyee of regis corporation as a hairstylist. Within my decade long devotion and a trusted and stellar employee, I have not know of any complaints, nor have I experienced the ill of any customers based on my work.

That is until december of 2010... This was the month a walk in would come in to the salon and receive a hair cut by me. Something I have done many times before. Except this time, the customer would leave with a smile on there face

And somehow involed in my life.

A few days before new years, I would make the final drive to work.

Picture if you would, a woman of advance age, who lives for her work andlooks forward to not only arriving to her station, but greeting the people she has grown very close to. Now picture this same womanbeing told she is not allowed to enter the salon and being told someone had made a complaint to the corporate office about a haircut.

Truth be told, no stylist can go an entire career without a single unhappy client, but does it take one complaint to have someone fired. Or does it take a conniving youngster of 23 to concoct a story of so whimsical that only the kids of "jersey shore,"would find believable. The quagmire of the termination pales in relation to the unjustifiable and extremely unprofessional manner in which a employee was mistreated and given her walking papers as if her time or devotion was nothing but fodder to be flushed.

Thank you regis for reveling you extremely ugly nature and for showing your lower level managers that being a professional does not apply

Sounds like Ritzi Mclendons market. As a manager I was told the same thing. " a stylist has to choose Regis or school, we do not accommodate other jobs, school or children" then ther was some other backwoods analogy that I had to endure.

I work at a Regis Salon now, and our manager has recently resigned. Because of this resignation, our District Manager has come to the salon and told every employee that they are required to be physically present at a mandatory meeting in a few days. About 3 of the hairstylists at this certain salon are also full-time college students. Being that we are full-time college students, we couldn't make it to the meeting. So, in respect of the District Manager, we let her know what our problem was and asked her to understand and if she could possibly fill us in on the meeting, so we could attend class. She refused, and told us that if we weren't physically present at this meeting (meaning we couldn't attend any of our classes that day resulting in possibly being dropped by the class, or having points deducted from our grades) that we would be fired from Regis. She also went on the say that "School is not important, the salon is important, if the salon is not you're first priority you shouldn't be working here." I was in awe of the things that she said to us. Being that most people find it admirable of young women making a living on their own and also being a full-time college student.

Regis Salons / The Beautiful Group Management given boils or herpes by hairdresser

I was a frequent customer at this particular salon in the deerbrook mall of humble, tx. At first I was very pleased with the service from my cutter, but after a while her attitude began to tell me to leave. She would repeatedly excuse herself before the shampoo to go into the back and while shampooing would rub certain areas with her nails. At the time, I didnt think much of it, but now I have reoccuring boils or possible herpes in those areas. Do not trust esmerelda or anyone else in this dirty salon.

I was employed as a hairdresser at the Deerbrook location for a couple of months in 2006 after transferring from a Dallas area location. I ended up quitting afer less than two full months because of the other women who work there! There were only two other stylists who were not completely rude and unprofessional. The rest-led by the salon manager-were catty and unprofessional to coworkers and clients. It doesn't surprise me at all that Esmerelda was rude and unprofessional to you; she was the second-in-command of the clique who would consistently gossip about and insult clients and people who would pass in front of the salon. I had transferred from a location that was well managed, sanitary, professional, and had a great chemistry among employees (actually, two of my best friends to this day are previous coworkers from that salon), so I guess I was kind of expecting the same atmosphere at Deerbrook when I moved to the Houston area and transferred. I was COMPLETELY mistaken! I was ABSOLUTELY MISERABLE the entire time I worked there and began to dread going to work (I have a huge passion for doing hair and I LOVE being a stylist, so this was unusual for me).
I started in August and by the end of September, I couldn't take anymore! I woke up one morning, dreading the day to come, as had become usual, and decided I just couldn't bring myself to last through another day with those immature, mean-spirited, awful women. I called the salon without even getting out of the bed and told the manager "I'm not coming back in to work. I quit." and immediately felt a HUGE sense of relief!
I have no problem with Regis as a corporation, and wouldn't be opposed to working at a Regis again in the future if the circumstances were right, but I would definitely never work with a single one of those women again. Any stylist who has such total disregard for the satisfaction and respect of their client probably needs to find a different profession.

Regis Salons / The Beautiful Group Management I'm very discouraged with this company

I have worked for the company a very long and I don't know why. My time has not been appreciated with this company and they re-nig on promises made. Of course I do get a paycheck and some people think that is reward enough..but I am seriously considering leaving the company. I have never been given any type of bonus for my time in service. I am a high dollar producer, sell high retail, I never miss work, and I am always on time. Also if you call a supervisor with an any type of issue they never get back to you. Also, I think it is absurd that commission is capped when you reach 50%...so what that all boils down to is you can work your behind off and you never get a raise. I'm very discouraged with this company.

Regis Salons / The Beautiful Group Management hairjob from hell.

I went into regis with a positive attitude having met with the stylist before I randomly selected someone new to cut my hair after ten years. I had several pictures, ideas, and things I told her I didn't want done. I wanted a slight trim and blonde highlights in my hair. She pulled my hair through the cap, wouldn't get the cap on tight enough to get the roots properly, she then took the cap off decided that I needed toner on the color left me to take out the trash, then as she washed the unwanted toner out of my hair she left me sitting wet and shivering in a salon seat while she cut someone elses hair! I waited fifteen minutes for her to come back and cut my hair. I told her I wanted to keep the length (she immediately cut off 4 inches) I told her I didn't want it layered or formed to my face (she did) she razored it to my nose (I told her to keep the length and to razor it with razor sissors and not a flat razor) then she thinned it, my hair is already thin. First rule of cutting hair you don't thin hair that is thin! It took her three hours for a job that would have taken anyone who knew what they were doing an hour and a half. I kept telling her I didn't want her to do what she was doing but she said to trust her it was just a simple trick she was doing what I asked her to. I paid $90 for this woman to defile the hair that I had been growing out for an entire year. I got home to find that my roots were still an inch long and that I had now had 'cheetah spots' at the roots too.

I have been on the phone with their corporation for 2 hours begging for them to give me my money back so that I may go somewhere and salvage what little hair I have left. They have not listened to me, they have interupted me, they have hung up on me, and they have complained to me about being understaffed and the manager is always too busy to speak with me.

Mark my words, hell hath no fury like a woman with an awful haircut!

Regis Salons / The Beautiful Group Management bad hair cut

I recently got a haircut at the regis salon at the four seasons mall in greensboro, nc. I had no appointment and came to the desk and asked if they would be available to take me. The manager said yes we can and the young lady standing next to her said come on back. I went to the chair, sat down, and settled in only to notice that the hair dresser named chelsea smith was to my left in the back arguing with another employee about who's turn it was to take me because she didn't want to do it. I was very taken back by this and found it to be very unprofessional. If I wasn't in such need of a haircut I would have walked out right then as I was offended. Chelsea eventually came back after losing the battle and I asked her "do you not want to cut my hair" to which she snidely replied "no not really." I was concerned so I asked her if we could find somebody that did because I don't want my hair messed up. She said no it will be fine. It wasn't fine. She asked what I wanted I told her a 3 guard on the sides faded into about half the length off of the top. Long story short she scalped me, cutting my hair way shorter than I wanted. I ended up wearing a hat for the first week afterward. The worst part is that this is the second time i've been there and the first time the girl cut my ear and took the line over my ears so high that I looked like wild thing from major league. I would recommend that everyone stay away from this place unless you want to feel unwelcome, pay way too much, and get a bad haircut.

I have long straight hair. All I wanted was a few layers put in. It looks like she just took sections of hair and cut them a little shorter than the rest. I wanted something that I didn't have to curl everyday. Now I do. I even asked if she liked cutting long or short hair. Her answer was "short". It has been 3 weeks and is not getting any better. I have never received such a BAD hair cut in my life. It is going to take longer than 6 months for this to be corrected. Her name is Megan. The hair salon is at the Maplewood Mall, in Maplewood, MN. I would have thought for a $40 hair cut, they would know how to do so. Not only am I out the $40, but now I have had to buy an iron, and spray to keep the little bit of curl in my hair. That is what I was trying to get away from. I am extremely disappointed in them.

First let me say that I was there on the day this gentleman entered the salon and he was paranoid when he entered! We took care of his service right away and he so liked the service he tipped the the stylist well and asked for her card.It seems to me that he misunderstood what was taking place in this situation and if he was uncomfortable at any time he should have brought it to my attention so I could have straightened it out right away.Everyone of our Stylist gives every cusomer the signature experience!

My hair was cut today at the Monroeville Mall Regis Salon. I asked for a bob and showed photos. I am 57 and this is the style I usually wear w/o problems. The hairdresser started by whacking my bangs off. Then it seemed like she just cut here and there until she decided she didn't want to cut anymore...she was done. She turned my chair around to the mirror and asked me how I liked my haircut. To my horror, I looked like Prince Valiant or a little Dutch girl! Nothing was even or shaped properly. She knew it was bad because she didn't even want to bother drying or flat ironing it. I think she feared what the end result would be. In shock, I summoned the courage to tell her it was nothing like the photo and she had the nerve to tell me that it is what I told her I wanted. I asked her how SHE would like this style and she deflected by saying it was not something she would ask for. She then said since I didn't like it, she wouldn't charge me for it, but I would have to pay for the flat ironing. To my horror, she charged me $17! I paid it and left in tears. Then deciding not to be a quiet victim, I went back and asked for a manager. One of the stylists who took pity on me, immediately started making phone calls. I could see the horror and pity in their eyes as other stylists within earshot gathered around. They had no idea what could be done to fix it. They couldn't reach a manager (who they needed to unlock the register to refund my $...I never even asked for that). Then the girl who cut my hair came up, gave me the money (her own) and, with an attitude, again said that she gave me the cut I asked for. I never asked for choppy, unevenly cut hair. Tomorrow, I will go back to show the manager the cut, tell her that another salon is fixing it, and requesting Regis assume responsibility for the cost of the correction. Crossing my fingers that something can improve this look...

Regis Salons / The Beautiful Group Management stay away

I'm 68 years. I've been getting perms for years as I have fine hair. Today I paid $80.00 for a perm. Plus 5.60 for tax. This is from regisat the muscatine mall, 1983 park ave, muscatine, ia it has no curl at all. It took 4 hrs for joy to put it in. Then she tried to style it. After me telling her how I wantes it done, she stillkept messing it up. I finally told her tostop. When I went to pay for the so called perm, it was $80.00. Rediculous in a small iowa town. I'm very disappointed, plus being 68. Years on a limitted income (s. S).
