WigSalon No refund for returned item

COMPANY DOES NOT WANT TO GIVE REFUNDS! Firstly, the colors are MUCH darker than what's pictured online. Received item and didn't like color. First Red Flag: Contacted site for RMA. Waited days. No RMA sent. Called company. Second Red Flag: The gal pushed and pushed for exchange, instead of refund. Finally told me what to do with it. Third Red Flag: Wig Salon received item and said my card "couldn't be refunded". They had NO problem taking the funds but BIG PROBLEM refunding. They even went as far as accusing me of having a fraudulent card! The emails from said owner were very uncaring and flippant. They now hold both the product AND my $150 and they refuse to understand why I'm upset! The company is a scam and I hope someone scams them as much as they have scammed me.

Desired outcome: Refund of item, minus 10% restock fee.

WigSalon Customer service/product quality

I ordered wigs in advance of chemotherapy. I was informed on 3/1/23 that I would not be having chemotherapy after all. The wigs arrived on 3/3/23. I immediately texted and also e-mailed the company. There has been no answer to my text and multiple e-mails have bounced back saying I'm not on the authorized list to send them e-mails. When you click the address on the website under Returns , it changes into the address from which they do not accept [protected]@wigsalon.com. Additionally, the Jon Reneau wigs are not of the quality of past JRs I've purchased through a salon and come in generic packaging, not JR packaging.

Desired outcome: I'd like my money back. I do not want to do business with this company.

This site is nice to order wigs for a decent price. But horrible customer service. They are only in office until 4pm. And they don't respond to emails until the next day. They never pick up their phones. How are you supposed to get customer service of they are never there for you. I emailed them about a wig I wanted to exchange three days ago and now their office is closed so I have no help to do that. I haven't had problems with the wigs, but wanted another. It makes it impossible to exchange with the rate they go. Very unhappy with the service.but happy with the wigs.

They have resolved my complaint by reaching out to me and sending out wigs in a reasonable time. Ordered two more wigs! So excited to get them!

WigSalon Do not deal with these people!

I wasn't able to return the wig because these scammers did not allow me and claimed they did not accept any returns! I bought a wig from www.wigsalon.com and received an incorrect color one, it was too dark for me, so I contacted them and asked for a replacement. They claimed that color was exactly what I ordered. They said that there was probably a problem with my screen that it did not show the real colors, but that was impossible because my screen was very good and expensive and I'm 100% sure that they really messed it up with the color of my wig. In the end they simply stopped replying. Do not deal with these people, they are the worst!

WigSalon Horrible

This is the worst company I have ever dealt with! WigSalon sent me a defective wig and when I contacted them and said that I want to return it but they refused and said that they don't do refunds. I sent them a couple of pictures but they claimed that there was nothing wrong with the wig.
I contacted them many times and spoke with different reps but no one wanted to help me. Will never order anything from them again!

WigSalon Refusing to deliver product paid for

I have had a nightmare of an experience with this company and am currently being "blackmailed" to edit/delete my Yelp review of this company. I have paid a grand total of $105.74 in an effort to buy a Noriko Reese wig. Although we had an agreement regarding the Gabor Gala wig (referenced below in my original review), and I paid an additional $22.95 to exchange the wig for Noriko Reese, I am now told that they will not ship the item unless I delete my review regarding my truthful experience with their company. The following paragraph is my original review of Wigslaon.com on YELP. Following that paragraph, I am copying/pasting actual emails between myself and Joe (the owner of Wigsalon.com) and Barbara (customer service rep). As you will be able to see, every time we have an agreement, he changes the stipulations of the agreement. WIGSALON.COM AND JOE ESTE HAVE NO INTEGRITY WHATSOEVER!

Original review: I received a Gabor Gala wig in a beat up box with no plastic, net or tags, and immediately contacted Wigsalon to let them know that I was not pleased with the wig and would be exchanging it for another wig. I received instruction on how to return the wig for exchange. The exchange instructions said to return the item with all packaging and tags attached...however, there were no tags or packaging...other than the beat up box. i returned the wig exactly as I had received it within the time frame mandated by them. When they received the wig back, they refused my exchange because there was no tag attached. I explained that the wig had no tag when I received it 7 days ago, so I could not mail something back to them that I never received. The company is refusing to exchange my wig or refund my money. I have done business for many years with Name Brand Wigs and have always been extremely pleased. This was my first (and last) experience with Wigsalon and I ordered from them only because this particular wig was on clearance at a good price on their site. I will not be doing any more business with this company and am working with my bank to recoup my purchase price since they are refusing my exchange. Save yourself a disappointment, as well as a headache and buy elsewhere. Name Brand Wigs is a class act company which can be trusted.

Hello Joe,
Your site advertises free shipping on all designer wigs, clearance wigs, etc. You are offering to sell me Reese for $104 ($18 more than i could get at Name Brand Wigs) plus $12.95 shipping when your website clearly states "free shipping." I will not pay for shipping under any circumstances. I have filed a complaint with the BBB against your company and will be happy to resolve this complaint once I receive my "exchange" wig under the terms which you advertise on your site.

I edited my original review of 04/16 to include the actual emails between myself and Joe Este (owner of Wigsalon.com) on 04/22/15. I gave Joe until 5:00 p.m. today (04/22/15) to provide me with a tracking # on my Noriko Reese wig which he refused to do unless I deleted my review of his company on Yelp or wrote a "false/glowing" review of his company. Having the integrity that I do, and not wanting to mislead other potential customers into the nightmare that I have experienced, I refused to do so and had informed him that I would make public the exact situation that I have encountered throughout my dealings with him and his company.

Here a few more emails...I'm limited to a 5000 character post, so I can't include all of them in their entirety.

It is now day 5 and your refusing to ship the product that I paid for in full unless I change a public review that I posted on your company. ...really?... Do you think thus far that you have given me any reason to change my review or opinion? I'm not going to be "blackmailed" in order to receive a product that I paid for.

The original amount that I paid to your company was $76.74 - received a "used/not my style" wig
Paid $6.05 priority mail shipping charges to return.
Paid another $22.95 in an agreement for exchange.
This brings my total to $105.74 that I have paid your company for a Noriko Reese wig.
This nightmare started on April 2nd. It is now April 22nd. I have no merchandise and am being harassed about a truthful Yelp review that I posted regarding your company.

I could have purchased Noriko Reese from Name Brand Wigs including shipping for $92.95 and had the wig within 72 hours, no hassles, no problems.

If you would like me to revise my Yelp review on your company, then I need one of two things by 5:00 p.m. Central Time today.

1) A tracking # for my package showing the product is in transit to me. I will revise my Yelp review upon receipt of the product.

2) A full refund in the amount of $105.74 by 5:00 p.m. today.

If one of these two things do not come to pass by 5:00 p.m., I will post other "truthful" reviews about my experience with your company on multiple comment boards. That is my right.

WigSalon The seller sent me wrong wigs

I ordered two wigs from the website www.wigsalon.com. It was real scam, ‘coz these jerks mixed the order and delivered wrong colour. I contacted the rep, who agreed to change the wigs, but after that I haven’t received any news about the order. The seller fooled me and hasn’t solved my problem. I really need help and wanted to ask maybe someone faced the same problems. I wonder if there are people, who have the same problems and what have you done in such situation, please post comments.

WigSalon EXCHANGE

In May 2010 I ordered 2 wigs from Wig Salon's website. The color on both was extremely
different from the way they looked on line and 1 of the 2 wigs appeared used. I promptly returned both and asked for a refund. Joseph Estes (owner?) told me they did not give refunds but "since I had returned them immediately, he would for-go the restocking fee and allow me to reselect. One wig was sent - in the wrong color and I have been waiting ever since for the second one (5 months!) Actually, I received a 2nd replacement 2 weeks ago -
AGAIN in the wrong color and he tried to pass that off as my mistake instead of his. Luckily,
I had the email I had sent in which the color I wanted was stated twice and so he finally
agreed that if I sent the incorrect color back he would replace it. I sent it priority mail but have been waiting 2 weeks for my replacement. His staff is friendly and helpful but he is
condescending and really does not want to give any service at all. If you buy from this website be prepared for a long and arduous battle if there are any problems!
