Failed to deliver the furniture as agreed in contract (dyo)!
Terrible Staff (From Top To Bottom)! Promised to deliver brand new furniture in the contract. Received only half of it and when asked I was offered old, dirty furniture with stains. (Pictures Attached). I tried escalating the matter to the local team but that didn't help at all. Address - Regus, 7111 Syntex Drive, Mississauga, ON
Read full review of RegusRemoval of services
I have been a Regus client from Singapore (one Raffles Place) for more than ten over years and have always been enjoying the services provided. But in recent period, many services are being compromised or removed altogether:
(1) firstly the microwave oven has been removed and I was told by the centre staff that it is removed because of standardisation across all centre. On another occasion when I checked again, I was told that it is because it is non halal which is not consistent for the reasons provided. For that matter if it is due to non halal, they should have two microwave ovens instead one for halal and one non halal. I am also perplexed how they resolve and differentiate halal non halal for other utensil?
(2) Newspaper services have also been terminated without giving any valid reasons. The centre manager just advised me that Regus has stopped paying?
(3) Next, plates and bowls and even folks were not available. We were even told to wash our own plates etc. ? Then why are tenants not having a reduced kitchen fees now if we are not even the basic services?
(4) There is also no more Lipton tea bags available. This is so fundamental and again no explanation was given.
(5) When I shared and provided my feedbacks to the centre manager, instead of showing empathy, I was just being told that Regus no longer provide all these and case closed. I minimally expect her to explain to me with more empathy and not to mention not even an apology on behalf of Regus for this reduction of services which other serviced offices companies are providing. I am not asking for something special. It is fundamental which I mentioned other serviced office companies are providing. So isn't it time for Regus to reflect and revive such services again?
please reach out to me at jessicak_[protected]@yahoo.com.sg
I want to have an update of how this is being resolved or alternatively minimally a good reasonable explanation for the compromise and removal of the above services mentioned.

Poor service, tactics to force new lease with higher rent, breach contract performance
How do I cancel the auto renewal lease with REGUS for 2022 after the 2021 lease ends 12/31/2021?
Regus traps me into an auto renewal with terms I don't agree and cannot afford. They claim that they sent courtesy email notice twice and received no response from me. I did not receive these emails and sent my cancelation right away after acknowleging the new lease being in effect in 2022.
During current lease 2021, Regus breach the contract by not providing me the internet service adequate for my business operation. My network printer did not function at all for almost 1 year, and still dead without internet. They have a mal-practice in charging kitchen fees without my authorization.
My desired resolution: Get out by end of 2021, no further lease 2022, get my full retainer back

Canceling our contract
We have been with Regus for more than 5 years and have relocated to a new state with service. Due to covid we have had to close our small business. We have tried multiple ways to downgrade our account to keep the contract and not run with a debt. The local team and regional sales team has been very unhelpful with no support. We are unable to make payments and continue the service. I know everyone has been hurt during these difficult times we are not the only ones effected. Any support or help would be appreciated. Being tossed around and no one to help after so much time spent at these offices have left us few uneasy.
All my best,
Kate Ballard
Desired outcome: Downgrade in service

Virtual Office 1201 Pacific Ave Ste 600, Tacoma, WA 98402 Location
I just restarted services with regus and I had a start date of October 2021. I paid my rent at the end of September 2021 and the deposit which totaled $225. I got a "late fee" saying I was late paying my rent when the start date wasn't even until October 1 and I paid before October 1. The fee is still there. I just got a new invoice with ANOTHER late fee for October when I paid my October rent on time. I think your system believes my start date was September somehow when my start date was October 1. I have been trying to reach customer services for days and just stay on hold for more than an hour. My emails go ignored and no one is helping me with this. I also just got an invoice for a "mail forwarding" fee of $20 when I do not nee my mail forwarded and never asked for that service. The tacoma office is my mailing address. PLEASE assist me.
Desired outcome: correct my account y removing erroneous fees.

Retainer refund
Our account has been canceled for several months and we have not received our retainer, yet you state that we will receive it in 30 days. We have contacted support multiple times and have received no help. The online instructions that were provided don't work. If this doesn't get resolved we will be forced to file a complaint with the BBB, USA.gov, and the FTC as well as sites such as Ripped Off Report.
Desired outcome: Refund our retainer

Regus offices Dublin
A clever but cynical business model based on knowing most small companies won't succeed in uncovering all the well hidden NOT TRANSPARENT charges, auto renewal terms, price increases, and won't be able to legally challenge the blatant overcharging and poor service. I sincerely estimate that close to half of Regus revenue is due to forced renewal of contract periods combined with automatic price rises, then stupid and repeated overcharging, followed by late payment fees if you refuse to pay the clearly incorrect invoices on time. The staff appear to be well trained in only one thing: to lie to customers "don't mind terms and conditions, just tick the box, yes of course you can cancel at any time, just call me, yes of course" etc. etc. A truly excellent example of a psychopathically immoral company. DO NOT ENGAGE IN ANY WAY WITH REGUS.
Desired outcome: Never to hear from this company again

Unauthorized contract extension
I signed up for a 12 month 'hot desk' co-working membership in August of 2019. When the pandemic shut things down the local Regus offices remained open but offered a 2 month 'billing pause' in exchange for extending my membership an additional 6 months (so instead of ending August of 2020 now February 2021). When I was billed for March 2021, I reached out to confirm my membership end date as I was never contacted about renewal options (or termination) and I assumed my membership ended in February 2021. Trying to reach someone over the phone gave me instructions to send an email inquiry, email inquiries resulted in auto replies that I should call. At this point I saw that my membership was now listed as active through 7/31/2021 in the app, which would have been a two year membership term that I did not agree to. I am now being contacted by debt collectors. I submitted a cancellation request online in April but it would not allow me to indicate a termination date prior to 7/31/2021. I have not stepped foot in a Regus space since March of 2020, and the location where I joined tried to assist me but was unable to resolve issues related to billing or membership terms.
Desired outcome: I would like for Regus to recognize that my membership should have ended in February 2021 and not send debt collectors after me for service that I did not agree to or use.
Account termination
The site manager Paulette is a racist and she is billing me for an account that they sent me a letter stating was terminated. This matter needs to be resolved immediately because I know longer want to have any communication with Regus or the employees affiliated with Regus. The agreement was for month to month, and no continuation for billing, this agreement and account needs to terminated.

Desired outcome: Cancel acct no funds owed

Termination of Agreement /Unfair Business Practices
Agreement due to terminate 12/31/2021. Regus sales agent never mentioned giving 3 full months advance notice to terminate agreement. 2.5 months later, I find out my agreement was renewed for 6 more months. They sent the email to my regus inbox which I never access.
Tried to terminate but the company is unreachable. Email returned.
Contact info/numbers only for new businesses (see their website). Local agents at the office not willing to help.
They also tend to charge for ancillary fees, and never tell you about them. For example, I never use their coffee maker, yet I was being charged monthly for it. They also had a problem with their internet, and the fix costs were offloaded directly to the renters.
Desired outcome: Termination of Agreement as agreed on 12/31/2021
I guess you have workaround on all the loopholes you have created for the company. NOT very customer friendly, especially during these trying times. I will make it my life goal that every person I interact with that is considering an office, will NEVER step foot into your company. That is how dissatisfied and disgusted I am with your unfair business practices.
Coincidentally, I just referred a company I am consulting with to WeWork, and they grabbed several office spaces with them in Miami. I hope that extra month of profit you stole from me was worth it!
Unethical Behavior and Breach of Contract by Regus staff
The internal customer relations teams within Regus is writing one sided emails and when i reply with the facts the email bounces back as they close the ticket with aligning with me.
Desired outcome: Resolution of this conflict where the centre team has failed to deliver as per the commitment bringing Bad name to Regus
Unfair practice and poor service
The following is my original rrequest to cancel the auto renewed lease 2022:
I am writing to request termination of my current lease with Regus office building located at 2033 Gateway Pl San Jose CA 95110. The current lease will end in December 31st 2021. The original sale manager I dealt with is Justin Wilson.
When I switched my office location at 2570 North First Street San Jose 95131 to 2033 Gateway Pl, I expressed my desire to have at least 2 year lease with terms as specified in the current lease. Before our existing lease with Regus, I told Justin that the reason for the relocation is due to big increase in rent from Irvine Company, which runs the 2570 North First Street office building. Justin convinced me to move forward with 1 year initially and said the rent will not likely to increase due to pandemic and low occupancy of the building in 2020 ( 55% occupancy ). The first email I received regarding renewal of lease was sent on Oct 2nd. I was out of town and did not reply with my termination request on Oct 12 2021.
I was not happy with Regus building service since the beginning. The internet was not working with our own wireless router. I was assisted by Denise, the onsite manager, but was unable to succesfully resolve the issue. She advised me to set up my own internet line from Regus in order to make my router and my printer work properly. She gave me a Regus price list for IT service. The cost to fix internet issue is estimated at $5000 - an unreasonable price tag. I told her that my 1Gig fiber internet line costs me only $100 per month with full support from AT&T. Also a few months after I moved in, I was charged kitchen privilege fees without my knowledge and authorization for 3 months of $131/month. I filed a complaint to site manager to remove the kitchen charge. They reimbursed me for only 1 months. I wish to leave this office for due to the lack of service performance and malpractice. Attached are email logs I received from Regus. I never received the courtesy renewal email in September. Nevertheless, I disagree with the new lease price terms which I cannot afford and not willing to move forward. I sincerely don't think I was treated fairly with the automatic renewal policy to trap me into a lease that I can't afford and with my disappointment with Regus service quality.
I am asking you to terminate my current lease smoothly without any other further actions for the mentioned disappointment. Please let me know anything else you need from me to successfully terminate my lease.
Thanks in advance for your kind consideration.
Desired outcome: I like to cancel the new auto renewal lease for 2022. I want Regus to refund me $262 wrongly charged for kitchen use. I want Regus to return my retainning balance 0f $3300
I am sending this letter to the San Jose Airport Regus manager:
November 8th 2021
Regus CA, San Jose Airport
2033 Gateway Place 5TH Floor
San Jose, CA 95110
Attn: Community Manager, Saima Khan
RE: Acct: [protected] : Termination of 2021 lease and cancelation of 2022 auto-renewal lease
Dear Saima:
I am writing to confirm request termination of my current lease with Regus office building located at 2033 Gateway Pl STE 510 San Jose CA 95110, ending in December 31st 2021. I plan to vacate the office space before December 24th 2021. I do not wish to renew the lease with Regus for 2022. As I mentioned to both Denise Repetto, the previous community manager and Justin Wilson, the sale manager: I did not receive the auto-renewal courtesy emails and I do not wish to stay at Regus location due to my disappointment with Regus service performance and malpractice in fees charging.
When I switched my office location at 2570 North First Street San Jose 95131 to 2033 Gateway Pl, I expressed my desire to have at least 2 year lease with terms as specified in the current lease 2021. I conveyed to Justin Wilson that the reason for the relocation is due to big increase in rent from Irvine Company, which runs the 2570 North First Street office building. Justin convinced me to move forward with 1 year initially and said the rent will not likely to increase due to pandemic and low occupancy of the building in 2020 ( 55% occupancy ).
I was not happy with Regus building service since the beginning. The internet was not working with our own wireless router. I was assisted by Denise Repetto, the onsite manager, but was unable to successfully resolve the issue. She advised me to set up my own internet line from Regus IT service in order to make my router and my printer work properly. She gave me an estimate cost of a few thousand dollars to fix internet issue by setting up a private hi speed internet line to meet my office internet requirement. This is an unreasonable price tag which I could not afford. I told her that my 1Gig fiber internet line at my home office costs me only $100 per month with full support from AT&T. I have not had my router and my leased printer working from the start of the lease. I had a technician from Shamrock, the printer service company, coming over to troubleshoot the issue. The Shamrock IT technician told me the issue is related to Regus internet IT set up, and not much they can do about it. I was very frustrated with this internet deficiency as it has caused big loss in our business performance as we rely on internet and marketing printing production.
Also a few months after I moved in, I was charged kitchen privilege fees without my knowledge and authorization for 3 months of $131/month. I filed a complaint to site manager to remove the kitchen charge. They reimbursed me for only 1 months.
I wish to leave Regus office due to its the lack of service performance and malpractice in fee charging. I never received the courtesy renewal email in September. They could be lost in spam folder and got deleted by mistake. In early October, I received the lease renewal with terms that I cannot afford and I feel Regus has a tactic to trap me into a lease without my consent of terms.
I sincerely ask your special consideration to revert the auto-renewal lease and return any unused portion of my retainer balance. I received the new lease notice on October 2nd 2021 and I quickly responded with my request to cancel new lease on October 12, 2021. I think the office space suite 510 is very nice with balcony. Regus should not have any issue leasing it out to a new prospective tenant.
As mentioned, I will vacate the space by December 24th and hope that you will consider my request with understanding and special consideration.
Thanks in advance for your kind consideration.

Unauthorized charges
I utilized Regus to rent office space in July. After signing a contract that they terminated due to a company error, I was signed up for a membership at one of their centers as well. The contract was unsatisfactory and I canceled my membership. I disputed the last month of rent they had charged with my credit card company given that they didn't fulfill the original contract to my satisfaction but the dispute was ruled in favor of the merchant. After this, I paid the rent for August through my credit card company.
The company continues to harass me for a payment I do not owe for an account I do not have. Regus has been reported multiple times online for fraud and I regret not looking into them before utilizing their services.
Desired outcome: Regus to stop threatening me and harrassing me

Massive corruption at Regus Eaton Place Nairobi
I visited Regus Eaton Place Nairobi Kenya recently to inquire about office space. I think it is located behind village market Nairobi and I got stunned by the level of corruption at the center by representatives. I was also alarmed that representatives freely divulge confidential information about their tenants. Representatives eating at the reception area. I declined office offer.

This is now my second attempt placing a online complaint and I have yet to get a response from Sandra Melody directly as she so quickly has responded on here. I did however received a useless response from some one acting on her behalf stating that if I did not receive a call in 48 hours to reach out and to no surprise I did not. Clearly the responses by Ms. Melody within this platform is simply a facade, only appearing to address the companies bad business practices. I'm disgusted at this entire experience; even worse apparently their has been prior lawsuits and even worse blog websites created by their prior victims, not customers as we should be, who has experienced bad business experiences please review Regus.pissedconsumers.com prior to making any business moves with Regus even the most basic!
Desired outcome: I wanted to resolve but after being evaded i'm requesting a FULL REFUND!!!!!!

Return my retainer!
I have contacted Regus over a dozen times to ask where my retainer refund is. Their contract states that it will be returned within 30 days of the termination of your lease contract. It has now been 45 days and nothing.
Each time I reach out, the local team tells me they have no information and they will send a ticket to the help desk. Nothing happens.
No information, no communication. It's completely unacceptable.
If this is the level of respect and professionalism that Regus uses, I highly discourage anyone from doing business with them!
Desired outcome: Return my $1000 retainer fee!

Virtual office
I have been trying to cancel my virtual office since November 2020, each time there is some sort of issue and they renewed it, I just stopped paying in the second year, that seems to have terminated the account but they sent me to collections. Having paid collections they tell me I got a small balance remaining with them "late charges" I. Order to pay it they say you have to reinstate the account but this will not renew, sure enough I just found an email in my inbox from Regus that they renewed me till November of next year, how does that work, I call you to cancel all dealings with Regus spend hours on the phone with rude customer reps and you go and sends me a confirmation of my renewal? What is wrong with you? What part of " I want NO business with Regus do you not understand? I want to cancel! Not renew! This is not an honest mistake this is a plain scam

After much contemplation and communication with a Regus Agent I finally signed up with Regus. With only at the begin setup stage of just needing a professional location address for doc to be mailed I figured it was important to make a wise choice especially considering paying $119 for an address. The agent sent me the cost which again was $119 and stated that he would email me the final docs to sign up. When I received the docs by email an additional $98 was attached for some so call general fee, basically just another means to capitalize of your need. I was hesitant because for what I needed that was extreme but finally gave in and paid it. Immediately after submitting payment I get an invoice asking for an additional $117 to be paid within the next 7 days, which was not only never disclosed by the Sales Agent but most importantly prior to processing payment. On the general page the T&C state no such thing, apparently you have to click on a small icon next to the T&C that clearly has no such verbiage and a different elaborated T&C state at the BOTTOM that you are expected to pay the following month in advance! It very convenient that it's not discussed or openly stated so that they can lock you into an agreement. If that is the policy fine but to be sneaky with enforcing it makes me NOT want to do business with at all when I am established with my business to need a office space. Oh and please pace yourself because NO ONE calls you back as promised to address this! I'm over them before I even begin!
Desired outcome: For Sandra Melody to contact me immediately! Resolution can be discussed as I do my matters, in PRIVATE!

Fraud and Extortion
IWG / Regus should be investigated for criminality as their practices equate to fraud and extortion. Please avoid this organisation at all costs! Just perform a complaints search if you don't believe me.
ending a contract with Spaceworks (part of Regus)
I booked Spaceworks for our company for 2 months. Based on this request, they put me on month to month which was not explained to me. We paid all our bills in a timely manner for this time. We moved out before the contract ended on 8/25/21 and returned our keys. They kept billing me and the saga began. I was told if I did not terminate in their system on line that I would be kept getting charged. I started to do this and to no avail. The system does not allow me to terminate. I have email after email after email trying to terminate. In the meantime, they keep charging me and today they put me in collections while I have an email stating they are looking into my case to resolve. They say there is no way for them to terminate my membership even though I've asked them well over 20 times. I talked to their "IT" department and he could not help me nor did he have anyone else I could talk to. They said they gave me a new account so I could terminate - the new account did not allow me to do this. I WANT my contract terminated and from the time I requested. I have not been able to talk to anyone live other than the IT person. There is no one in the company who can help me. The only thing they do really well is NOT communicate. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Desired outcome: Contract to end
