I brought to their attention the egregious acts of an undersigned/insured company via the MovingHelp.com platform and was gaslit about the claim, my interactions after being threatened by their insured and ultimately denied. I am a young woman and had no choice but to use this platform but typically had positive experiences and was not expecting a predator to enter my home. They were unequipped, unprofessional and one of the movers even THREATENED TO RAPE ME IN MY OWN HOME. REpWest was informed of their clearly reckless behavior from the time that they arrived and still deny my claim without any proof or consideration to the extent of damages. I have concerns that they are engaging in racketeering and collusion as well as false advertisements which will continue to be escalated to the appropriate authorities. DO NOT USE MOVINGHELP.com NOR RELY ON UHAUL CARGO COVERAGE OR THE SAFELOAD COVERAGE OF THEIR MOVERS.

On 10/1/24 | received services via MovingHelp.com for 2 providers (one to pack and load at one location and the other to unpack and unload at the next location). This was a FULL-SERVICE MOVE because I am disabled and I paid for 5 different forms of insurance via U-Haul (MoveSave Plus Insurance), and 4 separate charges via MovingHelp.com for SafeCoverage totaling over or near $200 in coverage, however, they are refusing to honor any of this as of 11/4/2024 with the denial letter sent from maria_haig@repwest. I immediately responded on 11/4 as the denial was allegedly due to "improper packing" which is what I literally paid for and insured. Also the claim that I submitted specifically indicated the gross negligent handling of my goods by the 2nd movers as they constantly dropped, slammed, and mishandled my things as they unloaded the truck and brought NO TOOLS or EQUIPMENT to maintain care of my items at all. When I tried to speak up and ask them to be gentle and bring their reckless behavior to their attention they yelled at me and laughed insisting that they were "strong". I also indicated severe safety concerns as 1 of the movers, John or Johnathon, repeatedly made sexual advances and even threats to me even insinuating that he would RAPE ME IN MY OWN HOME! He demanded that I leave one of the rooms where I was trying to direct him on where and how to place my belongings so that he wouldn't do anything that he'd regret or that would cause me to leave a negative review because my directing him was “turning” him “on”. I demand prompt payment for the damages outlined in the claim totaling $4964.93 and will prompt my lawyer to address emotional distress and subsequent damages if needed and via the proper channels. It's absolutely ridiculous that your reps responding via BBB have continued to gaslight me and completely disregard the serious of this matter beyond just the materials goods even when asking about the process for some form of arbitration or legal remedies to address these concerns. My belongings were FINE until they starting slamming everything around and being reckless with my prized possessions. From the time they arrived they were LOUD, aggressive and even my TWO MALE neighbors came out to ensure that I was safe from them and showed concern. They propped their feet up on my U-Haul truck laughing and yelling loudly late at night smoking cigarettes. Every single time I asked them to quiet down or brought anything to their attention (damages and them dropping and banging my property included) they would become combative, yell and make excuses for their behaviors and completely disregard me. One mover used the MovingHelp rating system as a way to manipulate and threaten me in to giving a positive review in lieu of him acting on his threats of sexual violence. RepWest, however, continues to use the positive review against me despite the fact that I have repeatedly articulated clear concerns of my safety and that the mover specifically threatened me in to doing a positive review whereas common sense says they know where I live and during this move they also boldly bragged about committing other crimes further showing a complete disregard for law enforcement. All of this supports and substantiates a pattern of behavior that validates my claims of their movers damaging my property but again RepWest is alternatively gaslighting me and not holding them accountable and not honoring the multiple layers of coverage that I purchased to avoid instances such as this. As a survivor of child trauma this is further even more triggering and frankly disgusting how every one of these entities have handled themselves further prompting concerns of racketeering and collusion.
