Uhaul rental 10ft truck and trailer
Returned the truck and trailer. They were training a new employee. The employee noted that I broke a handle. The other employee who was training the employee told the and showed the employee how to check the system for prior damages. Which showed the handle on the trailer was already broke. I've been dealing with this since Wednesday. Even the Manger and assistant Manger of the Avondale Ga store is frustrated as I'm. On hold for 40min to a hour. And keep getting transferred around this is ridiculous. I've been rent from Uhaul for over 10 years doing weekend BBQ and Festivals. Call the Avondale Store Manger and get this Resolved

Repwest Insurance for Uhaul Truck Hit&Run
A Uhaul Truck hit our car from the back while we were waiting at the traffic lights and it ran away. We have photos, witnesses and all details about the case. When we approached Uhaul (after several emails and calls and a very long time) Uhaul directed us to RepWest for reporting the claim.
We did the reporting online at Repwest. But for along time Nothing happened! They did not even give a feedback.
When we try again to report the claim online, the system message says "duplicate claim found" which means they have our initial claim but since 2 months they did NOT do anything.
When we call them we wait on the line for 15-20 minutes and can not reach anyone.
Not a reliable insurance company, NOT advisable for companies to trust Repwest and leave their customers in the hands of Repwest.

My car was fit on Oct 9. 2022, on the highway and the uhaul fled the scene, filed a police same day and made a claims report the next day. Got ahold to someone same week. I have 4,000$ worth of damage and they are only giving me 2,000$ (okay thats fine) Oct. 20th i finalize the payment and haven’t received the check to fix my car as it’s about to be going on 4 weeks of this. I just want to know if the check has been cleared and is in the mail because I haven’t received it yet and I can’t work until my car is fixed.

Claims coverage for items damaged during move
I recently hired movers and a Uhaul to help with a recent move. I decided to sign up for $1000 worth of insurance from the insurance company Uhaul works with (Repwest insurance). At some point during the move, three items valued at approximately $500 was damaged. I was sure there would be no issue with being compensated for these damages because I signed up for coverage when I rented the Uhaul. After filling out and submitting the insurance damages form and talking with my rep (Andrea Gomez), I was notified a day later that my rep talked to movers and denied the claim. Apparently Repwest only covers damages during loading and unloading, and not packing (even if the movers pack the Uhaul) With no proof the my items were damaged during the packing, Andrea denied my claim. When I repeatedly tried to reach her again for clarity or to provide additional evidence about my claim, she never returned my emails or calls. By Repwest listing that they don't cover packing, they've given themselves an easy out from ever having to compensate for damaged items. They can just say that the items were damaged in packing, even with no proof of the fact.
Desired outcome: I would like compensation for may damaged items.

While recent, the fact that my car was hit by a U-Haul pickup is undisputable as it was caught on the ring cam I have in my window watching my porch & car. I have reached out to the adjusted twice already but my message & phone call have not been returned..No police report as it happened on private property & they don't come out for that here in Savannah. My car was backed in. Uhaul truck wasparked next to me. When he backed out, he cut too close & hot my car left front with his left feont as seen in the video,l when my car rocks as it is hit. Repwest Insurance - bad faith insurance claim
Uhaul legal sent me to them. I sent the rep documents as soon as the adjuster
asked, sometimes more than once, over a period of about 2 months. She kept stalling, I shouldn't have believed that she was ever going to get back to me.
I was very patient and then she eventually ghosted me. Completely stopped responding. This has been incredibly stressful. I have filed a report with the Texas Department of Insurance, The Arizona Dept of Insurance, and am about to file a report with the Attorney General in both states. For anyone else dealing with this type of service, I'd suggest you do the same.

Claim denial
I provided all information to Repwest according to what they asked for for the damage that was done to my property during a move. They denied my claim stating there was no proof the damage was done in the move. This is nothing short of fraudulent business practice.
The moving help third party contractors damaged some items during the move. Everything was filled out and documented as needed according to Repwest, yet that fraudulent company simply denied my claim as if I never received any damaged items through my move.
Desired outcome: I want the claim to be re-opened and compensatory damages paid out according to the value assessed of the said damages.
And furthermore, noone from this fraudulent company ever gets back to me on discussing this issue when I call and leave a message to call me back. Seems like a real legitimate operation you are running here.
I paid for insurance via U-Haul and MovingHelp.com for damage coverage through the move. This was to cover damages from any third party movers that are contracted using U-Haul and MovingHelp.com. It was clearly stated as such when purchased. Repwest took the claim and was to process the coverage without giving any issue that this was the wrong process. Now, suddenly, Repwest claims there was no coverage for the damages used in the move. This is nothing short of fraud. What good is Repwest if they never cover any people using their coverage? Why even offer insurance coverage if you plan to steal money from the public? A class-action lawsuit should be filed against Repwest for fraudulent business practices.
Property damage from a U-Haul truck.
On June 29, 2022 a rented U-Haul truck ran into my barrier placed at the drive of my business parking lot. The height clearance on the barrier is 8 feet. the truck was clearly taller than that and hit the barrier, damaging it. I originally spoke with a lady named Carra Cabaniss and she requested some information to help process the claim. I e-mailed the information to her and ended up getting transferred to an agent named Christopher Smith, in AZ. I think. I have since sent the information to Mr. Smith twice, called and left voice messages with him three times and finally sent an e-mail 8/2/2022 asking him to confirm receipt of the information and reminding him this has been going on for over a month now. In the meantime, the barrier is still damaged and truly needs to be repaired. If whoever reads this has the ability and authority to get this claim moving, I would really appreciate the help. U-haul
November 19, 2021 is when i started the process of trying to get my car fixed . My car was parked when the driver of the u-haul truck smashed the driver side of my car . Police came and he tried to say he didn’t speak English but the condo cameras where directly on his vehicle as he smashed the car only to pull away then to come back to the scene. Police issued him the citation and fault . My car is a classic BMW 850i. I spoke with Ken Drawl and began the process . Insurance , pictures , police report and registration. Took it to a specific body shop that’s specialize in classics . When the body shop contacted Ken Drawl he again asked for the same things I had already provided . Pictures , insurance , registration ect …… another month passed by before a adjuster came out to do Rep West evaluation of the accident . Surprisingly they were only by $200. It’s been anothe 6 weeks nothing ! Spoke to Ken he said they may total the car ! Ok, the car is valued at $45,000. But the damages were $8,000. Ok you want to take the car send me $45,000.00 let’s call it a day . It’s been another 6 spike to Ken again . Now he said he’s trying to reach the driver ? The driver who was sited . The driver who lied ? The driver who police went a pull the video of him smashing my car . That’s driver ? This has been the most disrespectful event by a company as big as u-haul to run people around for something they have insurance for . Yes I’m upset and very mad. Also I can’t ever get any one on a call … DISRESPECTFUL!

U-haul storage
June 2,2021 I put a claim from sever water damage to my unit. I had rented in Roswell, NM. So far 3 adjusters from Philadelphia to Nebraska now Arizona. Everything I had in my unit destroyed. I got unit for my things I was taking to Texas to my new home. But 8-10" of rain left me with nothing. Soaking wet. mold electronics destroyed, family heirlooms destroyed. I have been waiting and sent everything that was asked to send in. No response from this ins.co. starting to believe your not an legit company. I am tired of being on hold for 18mins when I call. Then sent to voice mail. I believe with 7 other people that are still waiting on claims just retain attorneys. For they too waiting on response. Better Business has gotten several complaints. Next step Attorney General of the United States. I would like to settle this befor we have to contact them. News Media wants to interview those people who lost their belongings at the Flooding in UHaul Roswell NM.

Burglary to storage unit

car accident with uhaul my car
I filed a claim with your company because i got hit by a uhaul truck and got some damage to my car and i have been leaving messages to the adjuster that was assigned to fix this mishap... (Jeremy Dearking) and i have had very little luck with him. My car has a door that is jammed, a cracked windshield, and a fender that's all messed up, Also my car pulls to that side now so I think the alignment will have to be fixed.

My car was hit by a uhaul… The driver left a note and accepted liability.. now I’m without a car and rep west said they only pay for rental reimbursement and I should call my insurance.. I called my insurance and they told me that since liability was already accepted by the driver then rep west should be paying for my rental and not just trying to reimburse me and I don’t have money to pay for rental car out of pocket so I do t understand why they have a problem giving me a rental car this is crazy!

Hi I am actually just trying to pay the uhaul claim and was instructed to do so thru repwest. This company is very inefficient i never receive callbacks just so I can simply pay. If uhaul finds themselves with low successful collection numbers it’s more than likely due to them using repwest to process the claims. I just want to resolve the issue unbelievable.

I filed a claim on January 19 over a leak in the roof of a storage unit. I had a sealy hybird matters and a king koil mattress ruined as well as mattress protectors a 65 inch samsung quantum dot TV and a part of our bed frame ruined and a few cushions from our love sac couch. The person they sent out to investigate was here for 7 minutes to take pictures and left. They offered me cleaning money for the mattress that are ruined because of the moldy smell and found a like new TV on Amazon and based the price for my TV replacement off that. I have called and emailed my claim adjuster several time as well as her supervisor Jeff and still haven't received a call back yet. This very frustrating.

Filed a claim back in September 2021 for a broken smart television and fairly new dining set where my table and bench was damaged. The adjuster offered $400 total which obviously I refused. They said someone would visit my house to assess. I immediately agree. It’s been three months since then. I have emailed them over 30 times. They wouldn’t respond. It’s been stressful to keep broken furniture in the house with kids. I let them know this, but they don’t care. I’m considering taking legal advice on this. Had enough.

Car accident
My car was hit last year by someone who was driving a U-Haul truck and they have been giving me the runaround about fixing my car and trying to say that they believe it's fraud. My adjuster never answers his phone and sent me an email twice since last year. That's it. Every time I call to speak to the manager and supervisor they don't answer their phone and if I leave a message they still will never get back to you. They sent a guy out to do an investigation and he recorded our conversation to make sure there was no fraud going on and of course they haven't proved any fraud because I have never met the lady that hit my car until til that day and very moment. Also I would like to say, why did they try to say that? Do they think all black people know each other or are trying to commit a crime? So after that they finally sent a guy out to look at the damages and to get an estimate but what they are trying to give me does not add up to the damages. I took the car to the place I bought it from (Carmax) and they said that it would be more. Seeing that I just bought this car has me pissed off. All of that happened last year and today is Jan24th and I've still heard nothing and can't get In touch with them. So therefore I'm writing a review on them in every site that I can find. I also got a lawyer and reported them to the state insurance headquarters… and on that note, Repwest y'all suck.

Well it seems like this website is the only place you actually get a response seeing that I didn't know this information upon reading this. And the hold up was fraud as I stated because they felt like I was trying to be shady on my end. Still have been calling about this check and per usual can’t get anyone on the phone.
Uhaul rental
I rented a uhaul for 6 hours. Uhaul claimed I had damaged the vehicle. The uhaul claims had a settlement with me. After 4 months geta notice to pay for the same damages with double the charge with no description on the charges. Tried to call no reply. Get a final notice on the claim which shouldnt exist as a claim was settled 4 montjs ago. And the charges without any details is doubled and no contact and a notice saying going to a lawyer or claims agency involved.

Burglary, stolen property, claim denied without full investigation
My U-haul storage was burglarized between Nov & Dec 2021, I'm not exactly sure when as I didn't hear anything about my unit being "locked opened, " until 12/27/21 which is over a month after I last accessed it on 11/09/21. On 01/09/22 I put in a claim with Repwest, 01/10/22 I received a voicemail and 2 emails from Jewel Clemente. I called Ms. Clemente back on 01/11/2022, explained the situation and was told what I needed to send in which is the same items in the email, I asked if I can send pictures and was told I can, I asked Ms. Clemente how long will it take to hear anything and was told she didn't have a timeframe until she receives the items for the investigation.
2 days later 1/13/21 I received an email from Ms. Clemente saying my claim was denied because there was no forced entry and "Safestor coverage does not cover loss as a result of theft or mysterious disappearance." My items are not magic and didn't just "mysteriously disappear, " my storage was broken into and my items were stolen, and I didn't even send in my items so Ms. Clemente fake investigation into my claim was not not done correctly, as a one sided investigation isn't thorough investigation.
I last access the unit on 11/9/21, the last time I used the U-haul card and entered the building was 12/19/21 but I didn't go to the unit because I realized I forgot my key and walked right back out; cameras and login entry will show this, if the card shows any dates other than 11/09, and 12/26 of me using the card and entering the building it needs to be questioned since those are the only two dates I accessed the building using the card, on 12/19 I tried to use the card but it was after 11pm and wouldn't work, so I don't know if that will show up on the log. I spoke with someone on 12/09 and 12/20 but no one mentioned that my storage was "locked opened, " and James the GM lied claiming they don't keep records of when the card is used and claimed he couldn't pull it up when I told him to. I made my payments on time, my last payment was made over the phone on 12/9/21, so if I left it "locked opened, " since November as the GM James falsely claimed I did then I would have just taking all my items out, instead of making a payment in November and in December, I made these payments because I trusted that my items were locked up like I left it and safe at the U-haul storage unit, and for Ms. Clemente to lie about investigating my claim in two days without given me time to submit my evidence to her and claim there were no signs of forced entry, and that my items "mysteriously disappeared, " is a slap in the face because it feels like she is indirectly saying I stole my own items and refuse to fully investigate my claim. I am the one who asked James multiple times on 12/27 if there are cameras and if I can see the videos to see who broke into my storage, because I believed there were cameras near my storage unit, I also called U-Haul customer service and spoke with an agent inquiring on if they kept records of when the card is used and demanded James show it to me. If I knew what happened to my items like he and Ms. Clemente are indirectly saying, then I wouldn't have pressed for that information because it would incriminate me, and I'm aware that a false claim is illegal and would get me in trouble but I wanted to prove I had nothing to do with my unit being burglarized and wanted to find out what really happened, and still want to know what really happened. I'm the only one with access to the storage, and the dates I accessed it was 09/09/21 when I first got it, late October I can't remember the exact date, I didn't use the card that day because it was business hours so the doors were opened, 11/09 the last time I went into the storage unit and 12/27 the day I found out my items were stolen. I used the card on 11/09, 12/26, and I tried on 12/19 but it was after 11pm so it didn't work. So Unless Ms. Clemente seen these videos or had access to the lock on the storage unit there is no way she could say there wasn't any force entry and because I paid for the lock I have it so if Ms. Clemente did receive a lock my fingerprints will not be on it because it's not the lock that was used on the storage when I had it, and if she seen the video then that would mean I was lied to when I was told that there are no cameras near my storage unit, which would be suspicious because it's one thing to not show me the video maybe for legal reasons or whatever, but it's a different story to flat out lie about having video of what happened to my storage unit. I was also told that the procedure to inform me that my unit was "locked opened, " wasn't done correctly as I was suppose to have been told the day it was discovered, giving up to the end of that business day to come to the location to resolve it, if I didn't come then the lock would be removed the next day and placed in the unit and a new lock put on, also the person making the call was suppose to have had someone record them at the storage unit showing what they were saying for their protection and to show that it was opened, none of that was done. According to James my unit was left opened since 11/09, this meant by 11/10 he should've called me, and told me but he didn't do that, he didn't leave me a voicemail until 12/08, a month later and I didn't receive it until 12/27, I also spoke to someone on 12/09 and 12/19 and was never told about my storage was "locked opened, " this is why I strongly believe it was an inside job because there was absolutely no reason for the staff to not have followed proper protocols unless one or more of them were involved in the burglary of my storage unit, and yes this was a burglary not a mysterious disappearance. My lock was picked opened and the scratches on it shows it was tampered with. Because of this I want full compensation for my stolen property and I will seek any legal actions I can if I don't receive it, I am hoping it doesn't get that far, but I will pursue it if necessary because I strongly believe this burglary was an inside job, research shows u-haul disc locks are easy to pick open, I was told there are only cameras at the front entrance which means U-haul is falsely advertising to be a safe secure location with cameras strategically placed throughout the building, my claim was not thoroughly investigated, and I am being made to feel like I did something wrong because I trusted this u-haul location. I didn't even get the chance to submit my evidence so how exactly did Ms. Clemente get enough information to investigate the facts and circumstances of my claim involving "disappearance" of items from
my storage unit, and had enough information to make a decision on it under your Safestor Protection. She never contacted me to get all the dates I went to the storage unit, she doesn't know what I look like and didn't ask me to submit identification to her in case there was a video, so how is a one-sided possibly speaking to the GM James who lied to my face and probably the staff at the location a thorough investigation that provided "enough evidence?" They are not going to admit to anything. I am submitting several collages of pictures of the lock, emails, and denial letter from Ms. Clemente.
Desired outcome: Compensation of stolen property, reimbursement for the payment of storage since it was not secure like advertised.
Ok, I will wait to see what is said and/or done to resolve this issue.
