Repwest Insurance Company review: Insurance policy I paid for

This is a completely fraudulent organization. I paid Uhaul thousands of dollars to set up a UBox and hired movers through Uhal to put my belongings in the box. My family consolidated our belongings to fit in a single box, so needless to say, every single thing in there was extremely important to us. When the movers took my belongings out of my house, they were all intact and in 100% working order. I at no point in time moved the possessions out of my house or packed my belongings into the unit. The movers supplied by Uhaul were 100% responsible for how my unit was packed. When I opened my delivered unit, multiple things were destroyed, things I couldn't even put a price tag on, and only one thing that I could. I thought to myself, well...at least I purchased insurance to cover the damages. After calling in to file the claim (their website intentionally makes it impossible to file claims online, the page just gives a 404 error code), I was told that there was no proof or way to find proof of how the damages were caused, and that my claim was denied because they could not identify how the damages happened. I am so shocked. How the damages happened is completely irrelevant. I hired a "professional" company to pack, and move my belongings, I have zero control over how it was packed, and if items shifted during the move, then it is still Uhaul and Repwest's responsibility to honor the insurance we purchased. If the unit was handled in such a manner that it smashed my belongings in transit then again, how am I at fault for this? At no point in time did I place anything into the unit and if I had, and my belongings were damaged then I understand this would be my fault. I am beyond frustrated at this scam of an organization. I will be escalating my claim without confidence they will change the result. I strongly advise that no one uses this insurance, they are simply stealing money, this is theft, and is illegal.
