Rite Aid cashier customer service

I always shop here all my family shops here my parents use the pharmacy there but on Thursday Sept 27th around 12pm I went in to buy a gift card and a birthday card the cashier there was super rude ... Worst Customer service ever and I work in retail I know the importance of customer service. I asked her a question about the gift card I was purchasing and she said that it was none of her business once-over I purchased the card. I said that where I work the gift cards sometimes do not work and she said well I don't know where you work but once u purchase the card it's none of my business. I even asked her if I can input my number so that I can get points she said well I don't think u need to because what your buying won't give you points. I still put my number in and got at Dollar off. I was so upset that I was treated this way she had the worst attitude.

Rite Aid denial of service — false information

My name is James Rhodes

I complaining about store 1033 St. Nocholas Ave at w162nd st.

After getting a prescription from the ER at Presbyterian Hospital I called to see if my prescription was ready. I was never told they did not have my prescription in stock I was only asked for my health insurance info which I found strange. After the phone had been hung up on me numerous times ( which annoyed me)and I made it clear I was -finally told that they did not have my prescription stocked. I then went to the store and was told I did not have straight medicaid which I do..., and yet the manager continued arguing with me about the issue. I was misinformed as I do have straight medicaid until next month. I called medicaid and they falsely had me down with express scripts. they rectified the situation. I returnee to the Rite Aid store and now they refuse to fill my prescription unless authorized by the doctor AGAIN. Your staff is rude, misinformed and unwilling to provide a thorough service that results in results. I have made a call to the corporate office about this matter and have not heard back from anyone at all..., I do not understand why I must return back to the hospital to get authorization for my prescription. it has been seven days since Rite Aid has received my prescription and I am still suffering from my medical condition. The manager and the young lady at the counter are not nice people they seem to enjoy making my efforts painstaking as if I am not already in enough pain. my number is [protected]. I truly hope you can train them in courtesy and remind them that people seeking medication are not FEELING WELL and do not need extra problems and their lives while getting medication. thank you.
I just called the store back and asked WHY my DR. has re authorize my prescription. well then I was told that no my dr. needs to call my insurance company (?) to give authorization for payment. then my dr. has to call rite aid back to let them know that she called my insurance provider. SOMETHING IS NOT RIGHT HERE PLEASE HELP ME

Rite Aid customer service

Customer service from the weekday evening shift is horrific at this location. They need customer service training immediately. The cashier has an attitude all the time which is shown verbally and nonverbally. They are giving Rite Aid a bad name. I do not plan to visit this location again. It's just too bad this location is in my jurisdiction which can ultimately lead me to not visiting any Rite Aid again.

Rite Aid pharmacist

I want you to know that because of the way I was treated and spoken to by the pharmacist in the Taft .ca rite aid, I will no longer get my medication there. I have complained about the pharmacist before when he told me he wouldn't refill my pain medication unless it came from a pain management doctor and that he thought I had to have some of the medication put away, he basically treated me like a drug addict in front of at least 10 customers. I have had 5 surgeries on my feet including an amputation in the past 2 years and have been in considerable pain, which is why I was prescribed the pain killers. This time the pharmacist decided to call me at home and tell me he will not fill any prescriptions for pain unless it's from a pain management doctor, and he wasn't polite or nice about it. I stopped using the pharmacy at the Taft rite aid and will never use any rite aid pharmacy again. He is known for doing this to other customers and I've witnessed him doing this more than once to other customers. It's not only embarrassing, but he is out of line treating people this way. I will be putting in complaints with the Board of Pharmacist and the Medical Board about him. I do not want him to call me and apologize, I want no contact from him. I hope my complaint changes things but I don't think it will.

Rite Aid bad judgment by manager and cashier at rite aid doylestown in acme shopping center

i came directly from my doctor. I am almost 70 yrs old. Doctor chose to defer prescribing an anti-biotic but suggested we first try Coricidin HBP.

Was in a line with lots of people and the cashier asks me for birth date, month day and year. And I was not comfortable verbally answering the question. He was rude, unacceptably. And insisted I give him this information. I asked why. He said because young people (teenagers) can abuse this medicine... I obviously am a very old man. He calls the manager over. And the manager attempts to initimidate me ... I think this cashier needs to be fired... As to the manager, he needs some sensitivity training or a good lecture too... He's also an old man. He acted like a tough guy. Was unnecessary. I've been coming to this rite-aid for 30 years. I buy my prescription medicines there. Lucy the pharmacist is very nice.

My advice to you in addition to firing this cashier.. If you think this question is necessary to people my age, for whatever foolish reason, have us key it in on your checkout screen. And only allow the cashier to see the answer (yes/no) that you can sell it to them... Otherwise you need to take a more common-sense approach to this. I am seeking legal council with this... it was humiliating... Again, I came there because I have the flu. And needed medicine... And the people in line behind me said good to me for standing up to this cashier, and then the manager who should've known better...

Please I expect to see a different attitude the next time I should come into this store. Also please know I live in a senior citizen facility, my experience was posted on the bulletin board... Over 300 of us live here... You need to demonstrate that you deserve our patronage...

If you want to discuss this with that store's staff. My advice is to have the conversation with Lucy, the pharmacist. I think you will receive the most mature responses to your inquiry...
sincerely

Rite Aid customer service

On 08/27/2018 I decided to go to the Rite Aid Store on 9482 California City Blvd California City Ca 93505. I asked store employeenwhere the product of Milk was (Dairy Product) Borden Milk he pointed towards the back and said fridge so I went to the back and only saw a small fridge but no Borden Milk somI proceeded to the next fridge and only saw milk of another brand but no borden milk so I asked a store employee if that was the only milk they had she said yes so I asked to speak to the store manager and when I approached the store counter began to ask the store manager by the name of Mary about the product of Borden milk and how it was on the Rite Aid website and she began to act astonished as if she had never heard of borden milk before so i began to tell her that I was in a rite aid store and how it was listed on the website and would be reporting this conduct to rite aid corporation. When I exited Rite Aid and began to open vehicle of relative (father) there was a compact car next to the car I was attempting to get in when I opened the door it lightly tapped the car next to it due to it being compact Rite Aid Customer began to say be carefull with my car.

Rite Aid very poor customer service "continually"

Hello,

Rite Aid has been my choice of pharmacy for many years now. However, one individual person working there has been the cause of quite a few customers that have decided to go elsewhere because of her rudeness. Now, I too am considering the same option rather than dealing with this individual any longer. Much too unpleasant to deal with. She has a chip on her shoulder that just can't be dislodged no matter how nice you are to her.

This sales associate named "TERESA" works behind the counter at the Rite AID STORE # 10893 at 1200 Pittsburgh St., Cheswick, PA 15024. This woman Is one of if not the most unprofessional pharmacist I have ever encountered.

She is CONTINUALLY rude and acts like she is doing you a favor if you ask a question or have to deal with her in any way.

You can plainly see that she HATES her job just by the way she treats most of the customers. She is a very unhappy person and this shows every time she has to deal with a customer.

Don't really want to believe this information. Ok, all you have to do is to ask any of the ladies she works with and I believe they will tell you the same.

Very rude and I am just getting tired of dealing with her!

And, what is really bad AND irritating is the fact that the rest of the Rite Aid people working there are genuinely friendly and helpful. (Thank God!)

Thank you for hearing me out . Maybe YOU can help before many other customers decide to leave for other pharmacies also.

Rite Aid credit card

I accidently paid $228.00 to this Rite Aid account instead of my church Tithing. Thinking that the credit card would recognize the credit and refund my money back I waited until June 26th to contact Rite Aid. I did my research found the posted check, matched the numbers and date with the account and card. I spoke to a supervisor Daniel who asked me to fax my information with my email and phone number to his office fax number [protected]. Which I did. I sent it a second time on 7/9/18. I have never heard from him since. I can not speak to a customer service rep because they say my account does not exists, which is what Daniel told me. He said he went as far as to look at closed accounts and still could not find my account. I have a copy of the canceled check with the stamp showing Rite Aid cashed the checked. The burden of proof as to where is went is yours' I just would like my refund. It seems to me this could be a problem in your system. I would be happy to send you all of my information with the documentation if the pictures below are not giving you the information you need.

Rite Aid the managers (mary) inappropriately made several comments in reference t

My daughter was returning baby formula that my sister purchased at another Rite Aid. It was the wrong kind. So she needed to exchange for correct one. Although another manager completed the transaction. The Manager Mary felt obligated to voice her opinion. 1) She stated that "throw that milk in the trash because you don't know what people do to stuff." Even if policy is to dispose of product what was the need to state that. 2) She asked my daughter "why was she buying the pre made bottles and not the powder?" Which is not her concern. My daughter explained that the baby gets gas from the powder. "She then tells her she must be making it wrong, and that did she know she had to use spring water and not toilet water". Which is a very unprofessional comment. 3) She then states that"she believes anybody that uses those premise instead of powder is lazy". All of these comments could be very upsetting to a first time mother as my daughter is. She was out of line and should have kept her comments and her opinions to herself especially since the exchange for the product was already completed when she came to the register. I just don't understand her rudeness or ignorance

Rite Aid pharmacy

The pharmacist is at the Rite aid 1101 Atlantic ave. Is one of if not the most unprofessional pharmacist I have ever encountered. The customer service was atrocious. I was talked too as though I was one of his children. I came to pick up a prescription 20 early, I left after I was told it would be ready in 5 mins when it wasn't ready I decided to leave for work. I than called the pharmacist to see if this is would I would expect every time I fill a prescription it was than when he proceeded to talk down too me.

I work in customer service and would never talk to clients the way I was spoken too.

The pharmacist feels he can speak to others a certain way based on the medication the customer receives. Needless to say I certainly won't be going to fill prescriptions at Rite Aid.

Rite Aid Filling Prescriptions

The employees in the pharmacy department located on Mule Road, Toms River, NJ are the worst. Every single time my physician calls in my refill, I am always told the script wasn't called in. I am so sick and tired of these people. How does Rite Aid employee such ignorant people. Again, on 7/12/18, my doctor called in my refill, I called Rite Aid on 7/15/18 to see if the script was ready to be picked up. I was told yet again my doctor never called the script in. So this morning, 7/16, I called my doctors office and they did call in the script. The doctors office places a call to Rite Aid and are told, "Oh sorry, yes that script is filled". So DAMN STUPID.
HEY RITE AID, you need to check out the people you employ in your Mule Road, Toms River location. They need to get a clue.

The reason why they tell you that it isn't ready yet or they have no received it is due to the way they are trained to deal with conflicts between the customer and the insurance company.

Instead of telling you that it can't be filled at this time is due to the fact that the insurance company did not authorize it, they lie to you and tell you a story and string you along so you get pissed off and go somewhere else..

Certain insurance companies are worse than others and public assistance is the worst when it comes to paying for stuff before getting pre authorization..

Rite Aid pharmacy

I went into the Riteaid on White Lane and Gosford in Bakersfield California on Sunday the 15th, 2018 at 3:10 p.m. went straight to the Pharmacy, where i always go, to purchase some insulin syringes for my mother who is in a wheel chair and a diabetic. Most of the the time the are very professional with me and treat me with respect. The oriental lady behind the counter was rude with me, short with me, and refused to sell me the syringes. She looked and spoke to me like I was some worthless drug addict or something. I feel very disrespected by here and will nevee be giving Riteaid my business any longer, which stinks because ny family and I love the ice cream. People shouldn't judge a book by their cover, especially in their place of business. She was extremely ruse and unprofessional.

What does being Oriental have to do with her acting unprofessional.. In Pennsylvania they give out free syringes to drug addicts to slow down the problem they are having with hep A and hep b.. What the problem was - was that she let her personal opinion get in the way of her job, for which she should be fired...

Wouldn't you like to have a job where you could be rude or inconsiderate and not get fired?

Rite Aid pharmacy

So, today was my second time getting into a verbal disagreement with a woman by the name of Toya(sp). I am a very frequent guest to this pharmacy because 1) I love Ms. Renee and her astounding customer service but it's always a quick and easy process when I come...except for these two times.

The first incident happened on 6/3/2018: I arrived to Rite Aid (3804 Liberty Heights Ave) at 9:05, I was running late for work, so I just thought I'd be able to run in and out. I walked to the back of the store and saw that the gate was still shut. I just start browsing the isles, then I hear "who is parked in my parking spot?!", "where's the [censored] at?", "I don't got time for this, they better move." So, as I start to become concerned about what's happening, I see them pointing at me-- my car was in her spot. I didn't think I was in the wrong because I was not parked in a handicapped spot, and I didn't see anything indicating otherwise. She comes over to me and asks me to move my car, but I politely declined and said that "I don't think I should have to move my car in order for you to come to work" ---it was 9:17 at this point. She came back to the pharmacy, slowly opened the gate, took a patient before me and then took my information so abruptly. I got out of the pharmacy at 9:35 and I called the store and made a complaint to the manager but it was never followed up.

today, 7/10/2018, was my second time disagreeing with her because she felt the need to tell me that "she told me yesterday that I had no refills", when I was calling to ask her why I had text messages saying I had multiple refills? I was confused, but then she proceeds to tell me that I shouldn't have ran out and reminds me of when I last got my medication (which is the same thing she did yesterday.) I have had two horrible mornings because of this woman's poor treatment. I need something to be done or I think I'd just find another pharmacy.

Rite Aid the store manager

I went into rite aid and the manager in Falmouth Massachusetts got really mad at me because we had an argument she told me she is the MANAGER, and she said I do not want you in my store ever again and I AM CALLING the police. This is serious because there is only one Rite Aid in the area and I wanted to buy Vitamins that were on sale that cost $4.99 nature made vitamins which was a good buy, She is using her authority and power to stop people from shopping she is not from the town and does not live in this town. And she is not a very good person to be a manager, can you transfer her to another store? I like the prices in Rite Aid, they have good buys there and she was in a room looking on a camera and she approached me that my name was Sandra and that is not my name. She said you have a trespass warrant not to come in here and I am calling the police. What is going on with the people who work there? They never keep help it is always someone new working there. I am more than upset with the way they are acting.

Rite Aid employee

Store #03793
Union nj
6/29/18
I always go to this rite aid location. Once a week or more. Always great service.
Today I needed assistance with an item usually found in the aisle (cable cord for cell phone); however, only 1 remained (for my particular type of phone) and the box was damaged. I asked the gentlemen working behind the counter if he could please get me one of the cords behind him (as there were plenty more there). He wouldn't get the item for me. A foot away or less. He said "just go get your own in aisle 7." rather rudely. I was trying to explain to him that I was there just 2 days prior and I knew the only one remaining in aisle 7 had a damaged. Box... And. I.D. Prefer the item in the undamaged box, directly behind him. He wouldn't do it for me. I just couldn. T believe how rude this employee was. I ended up purchasing the cable in the damaged. Box and just hoping it would work properly.. The employee who rang me up said "well ma. Am please keep your receipt just in case it doesn. T work" which I did appreciate. I am a customer who frequents that store every week. I left the store very upset. Perhaps now I need to take my business elsewhere. This was unacceptable.

Rite Aid prescription

Please see complaint below.
A few months ago I went to pick up a prescription for my allergies. Had Dr. Call both Qvar and Flovent in because I wasn't sure which insurance would cover. Went to pick it up and was told insurance wasn't going to cover either unless I paid $200 for the deductible. I told them I'd take "whatever one they will cover after deductible". I paid for the prescription through my Care Credit and it posted on 3/26/18. Went to pick up my prescription of Flovent from the pharmacy a week ago expecting to pay $50 and was told it was over $200. Described the situation to the lady checking me out AND then the pharmacist. They told me to call insurance which I did. Upmc told me that Rite Aid never put in a claim to apply it to the deductible! Went back in Rite Aid and told her what was told to me by Upmc. She states that the prescription I got in March was for Qvar not Flovent which was why it wasn't applied to my deductible. Pharmacist then states that there was no way they would've charged me $200 without telling me. My response was, I understand that it was $200 I'm not disputing that. I am, however, upset that you gave me the wrong prescription and I paid $200 for it which didn't even apply to the deductible. I asked her what sense would that make? Why would I pay $200 for something that isn't covered in March then, when I need the prescription again I wanna pay another $200 so it then would be applied to my deductible?!
