Rite Aid pharmacy

There seems to be only one pharmacist and she is overworked and usually grumpy. Also the "call your RX" for refills service is terrible. I was told (by their computer voice) that one of my RX's didn't have any refills. It had 4 of them. I was also told that my other RX was not in the system. It also had refills and was filled at the same time as the other RX.

My doctor gave me a prescription for breo, refill 1 time. The 03523 store issued me a 14 dose package, "institutional". I complained on two separate occasions to the pharmacist and was told that I was wrong and that they gave the correct package. I complained to customer care and they referred me the first time to the same pharmacist, who I showed the box...

This happened on January 30, 2016 at the Rite Aide on Queen Street in Chambersburg, PA. My boyfriend, myself, and our 2 children (ages 10 and 9) went to get his prescription for methadone filled. The Pharmacist, Nitial(?) was from the very beginning rude and out of control. She told my boyfriend that she couldn't fill his script without having spoken with...

Rite Aid medication issues

I was prescribed Humilin R as my insulin drug. I receive my insulin three viles at a time secured together. When I began to take the last vile, I noticed it was cloudy (milk-like) and thought it was from being in the refrigerator. But then I looked at the vile and noticed it said Novilin N, I was shocked at first. Then I took the box out of the trash and behold two of the viles I had already taken for two months read Novilin R instead of Humilin R and the third vile read Novilin N. What the heck, I'm taking the wrong meds. I immediately contacted the pharmacist. He (Sahed) said that it was ok because they were in the same family of drugs, but didn't know why Novilin N was attached and that was our error and he would find out which worker put it together. He did replace my third vile still at Novilin R. I immediately contacted my doctor on this issue and he agreed with the pharmacist on the family of the two, but not the Novilin N. Something needs to be done. I was stressed out over this.

I am in the Archbold Rite Aid store at least once a week and have been a loyal customer for over 20yrs. In the last three months the new pharmacy technician(s) are RUDE!! Today was the last straw! As each person comes in we all stand in line and await our turn ( 1st grade lesson). As I stood for 10mins and waited my turn: the person in front of me left and...

Rite Aid firing of employees

I am going to comment in length about the firing of certain pharmacy employees...I believe that is was unnecessary and harsh to fire the pharmacy manager, pharmacist and technicians who have been one of the greatest customer service teams in the last several years of this pharmacy...The employee who remains does not give a crap about the pharmacy, customers or position of pharmacy technician...She just wanted to complain to human resources because she does not want to follow rules, or be told what to do...When she does come to work she just stands there and lets everyone else pick up her slack...Or she calls off constantly while others stay to work hard for the customers...As a customer I am appalled by this whole situation and will no longer shop or transact pharmacy business at any rite aid for the rest of my life...I will also relay this to my family and friends as well...I believe that human resources is a joke and does nothing but protect crappy employees and does not do anything for the great ones...If this is how rite aid pharmacy provides great customer service then I no longer want to be a part of it...Those pharmacy employees were exceptional in their customer service...The crappy employee does not give 2 cents about the customer...She is rude and does not care about the job at all...She either is constantly late or calls off...I have lost all respect for rite aid and their business practices...If you are going to keep crappy employees and get rid of new ones then that is your choice, but I believe that it is disgusting that one employee's word was taken over 4 others...She has destroyed people's lives and careers...She has spread lies about these employees and cost them their jobs...But that is what you get for going above and beyond the call of duty...Just like our country in general...I hope that she has gotten satisfaction in completing this evilness...Because that is what she is...Pure evil...Out to destroy what is good just because she did not want to follow rules...I hope she can sleep at night, but I am sure she will because she has no conscience...I am going to warn all my family and friends, as well as my co-workers to watch their back if she ever works for any of them at some point and time...And I have a lot of contacts in this area...And rite aid human resources is nothing but a glorified Principal's office for immature adults to come and complain about stupid crap...I know for a fact that good rite aid employees complained about legitimate issues and human resources did nothing for them...But if you are a crappy employee you get the gold mine and the others get the shaft...Rite aid does not care about customers at all but they do care about the almighty dollar...But as they say what goes around comes around...Amen and god bless my family and friends reading this...I hope that you realize how rite aid treats their employees and their customers...I will definitely shop at other chain pharmacies in the future...

I went in to the Rite Aid pharmacy on 263 Elkton Rd. In Newark Delaware on July 1st 2015. They took the prescription and said it would be ready in 10-15 minutes. I started to shop while waiting. I came back 15 minutes later to be told it was a day too early. When I asked if they knew what date I filled it on, they said June 6th which was not correct. It wa...

Rite Aid pharmacist mistreatment

After the utterly disgusting, unprofessional an truly cruel treatment I received at the 178 new Hyde Park in franklin square new york location I will never step foot again into a rite aid. After being diagnosed with a bad case of shingles my doctor sent a script online but the pain medication was a narcotic so the script had to be physically handed to the pharmacist. I went straight to the pharmacy from my doctors office. The pharmacy was scheduled to close at 9pm and I arrived at 840. The pharmacist out right refused to fill my pain killer script claiming there wasn't time and I had to go to the valley stream location that is TWO towns overs. To make someone who is in blinding pain travel that far for a medication is not just unprofessional and wrong it's also extremely unkind and simply a cruel thing to do. I don't know if you have ever had to deal with the agony that accompanies shingles but it is intensely painful to the point it's blinding. There was no way I could physically drive that far safely. After doing a quick google search I was able to locate a CVS much much closer i arrived moments before closing. I completly broke down in front of the pharmacist explaining what had happened and that I really just wanted the pain to go away. She immediately told me it was going to be ok and filled my perscription. By employing this woman you are condoning the mistreatment of your clients and telling them you do not really care.

I work as a shift supervisor for Rite Aid and my boss Mike Pemberton treats us all like we are dirt. He yells and tells us how worthless we are and our company Rite Aid doesn't care! Don't shop at Rite Aid in Chattanooga because they treat their people awful!

Every time I go to pick up my refills they are out of my medicine and i have to return the following day. Medicines should be kept in stock and should be reordered before they run out.

Apparently RITE AID Corp. Hates JESUS !... The District Manager for Montgomery County Pennsylvania has decided "NO CHRISTMAS DECORATIONS SHALL BE PLACED IN THEIR STORES" !.. They can sell them, they can't decorate the store with them..Pretty Sad... Pass this on to all your friends !

I purchased a disposable camera and returned it to have the film developed, at which point they lost all trace of the camera. I have the receipt. It is now six months later and still no trace of the prints or camera.

I'm complete fed up with Rite Aid Rx. There are countless times that I'm asked to return because their "out", at pick up find out that my meds given to ANOTHER customer, rx clerks/pharm giving excuses and the run around for issue that can be easily resolved, no accountability whatsoever. The recent fault (3/23/11 @ 11:19 & 11:40AM) was just an hour ago: meds picked up but was missing syringes and was ask to wait another 30 minutes. At second round of pick-up I was as to wait then told that they're out and claimed that they tried to contact me; COMPLETE LIES within that 30 wait time frame I did not receive any call from them and there's no record on my cell (since it DIDN"T RING). Was asked to return the next day. Tired of all these repeats and continuous excuses. Will be switching to another pharmacy.

Give me a break. You are the most intolerant arrogant posted. Not everyone wants to celebrate Christmas. Not everyone or every business has to share the same views as you and decorate. Get a life. Also most decorations included the Christmas tree were adopted not invented by Christians.

I work for Rite Aid. We didn't decorate but we had christmas trees lit up on ledges. Does a charlie Brown christmas tree and popcorn tree count? After they changed over to rite aid supposedly they stopped allowing the decorating of the boutiques and counters and things. Plus I really don't want to have to deal with taking down decorations so don't bother me none.

Rite Aid cost of prescriptions

I picked up a prescription yesterday from Rite Aid, it was blood pressure med's. The cost of $82 for a month's supply. I checked with Costco the same medication for one month is only $11, $19 for a three month supply.
$71 more! Can someone please explain to me why the major difference? I urge everyone to stop using Rite Aid due to the jacked up prices and let's include Walgreens in this complaint as well. COSTCO is way less expensive than either one.
Costco Pharmacy also offers a discount to all members. They will fill prescriptions for non-members as well. The $11 is a non-member price!
There is no way anyone can convenience me that there is that much of price difference between pharmaceutical companies. They charged me $2.73 per pill and Costco, $0.37. Something is terribly wrong.
Lower and Middle Class America'n's simply cannot afford the prices Rite Aid Pharmacies are charging. I can assure you I will never do business with Rite Aid again. I pray more people will do the same. If enough people stop doing business there maybe they will have to drop the prices so the everyday, average person can afford their medication.

Rite Aid customer service

I spend $300/ month on Nicorette (which I've been doing for three years). I always go to Walgreens because it's closer to my house. I just moved and stopped at Rite Aid this morning in the Northgate Mall area. The woman carded me which was surprising since I'm almost 40! I only had my expired drivers license with me since my current one was stolen with my purse a week ago. She wouldn't take my expired ID. Now I could understand if, a) I was buying cigarettes or alcohol, or b) was in my twenties, or even c) if I didn't have ANY proof of ID. But I NEVER get carded since I'm obviously in my late thirties. Hell, my daughters almost 18! I know my ID was expired but come on. I am just trying to buy Nicorette since I quit smoking and I am CLEARLY OVER 18! I'm done with Rite Aid. Even though Walgreens is farther I'm going to keep going there since they never give me a problem. Now I'm late to work. Thanks Rite Aid... You just lost the $3600/ year I spend on Nicorette not to mention the $5, 000/ year I spend on various other items I usually get at Walgreens.

You may look over 18 but you sure don't act that age. They are just following the law. For all we know you could look 40 because you messed up your body using meth. Perhaps they thought you were under 18 because you behaved like a six year old.

Rite Aid Pharmacy, 6995 Atlanta Hwy, Montgomery, AL 36117, has the most incompetent and apathetic employees I've seen in a pharmacy thus far. I went to pick up a prescription that my physician sent via email to Rite Aid. I didn't mind the wait as I was told it would be ready in 20 minutes. The wait ended up being over 1 hour and a 1/2. Rite Aid pharmaist hygiene

My husband and I went into this store to fill a prescription. While we were waiting I went to use the bathroom. I walked by the door that allows staff to go into the prescription area. its was open. When I went into the bathroom I looked in the crack of the restroom door to see if someone was in the stall. There was a person with a white jacket on. . I used the other stall. The person in the other stall left WITHOUT WASHING HER HANDS. I washed my hands and left. The door to the pharmacy area that was opened and was now shut. The person who used the restroom WAS FILLING PERSCIPTIONS. I let you decide if you want to get your perscrptions here.

How do you know she didn't use hand sanitizer, which would be more sanitary than washing in a restroom? Restroom sinks are full of bacteria. Perhaps they have handwashing sinks like in restaurants. And how do you know that she then filled prescrptions? Maybe she was the cashier handling money - much dirtier than a bathroom. Basically, you are stirring up [censored] without knowing all of the facts.

Rite Aid false shoplifting detentions

Many persons are stopped and illegally detained by Rite Aid Security for shoplifting, even though they haven't stolen anything. This happened to a friend of mine, they just about strip searched her and found nothing, and accused her on the basis that some boxes near to where she was shopping were empty and she had gone to the restroom immediately after browsing that section. They then called the police who didn't want to arrest her. They held her there and told her that she would be arrested unless she signed a paper, which had a trick semi confession in it. They then sent her a bill for 500 dollars for their trouble. I researched this and found many cases like it. Rite Aid bills these people, some of them pay, some don't. It's a numbers game. They do it when someone is guilty and do it when they are not, as a way of avoiding being sued. I have never set foot in Rite Aid since.

Rite Aid large plumbing bill

I bought the feminine care cleansing clothes for my daughter, as she is undergoing radiation for cervicle cancer and the Dr. recomended her to use them for the burning. Four days into using them, my shower and toilet in that bathroom backed up. I called a plumber and when he put in the snake it brought back up the wipes she had been using. He spent over an hour pulling them out over and over again, until the drains would finally drain fully . He charged me $80.00 dollars, which may not sound like much, but I was trying to save money and bought your brand, as they were on sale and it ended up coisting me much more. These wipes are evidently not bidegradeable as advertised, as he pulled them out they were still whole towels. I did not expect this cost and am very upset this happened. My other daughter uses the Costco flushable cloths and has not had any plumbing issues with them. I feel I should be compensated for for my expense, as they were not flushable as advertised.

Rite Aid unsealed prescription medication

Today I picked up a prescription for a (EpiPen 2Pak) from my local Rite Aid Pharmacy. The 2 Pak Box was not sealed and looked like it had been opened several times. My suggestion to anyone purchasing an EpiPen 2 Pak is to call Dey L.P and let them know you do not feel secure when their medications are in an unsealed box. I am suppose to feel confident the injections I am purchasing are safe. Getting them in an unsealed box surely does not give me that measure of confidence. This problem will not be resolved until many people complain. The pharmacists are handling money and your pills etc. without washing their hands. The Federal Government (Food and Drug Administration) should have figured this out long ago. Safety at the Pharmacy is a joke. The drug companies need to do more to ensure the drugs we are receiving are not contaminated. Rite Aid fails in my opinion as does any manufacturer who does not seal their medications.
