River City's One Hour Air Conditioning and Heating technician was an amazing guy. He was very helpful, he explained everything, he didn't push me to fix anything. He recommended me to do things! He will definitely be the technician I call to come back to my home! I highly recommend him. He did an outstanding job.

Company was quick to schedule the earliest availability to get AC up and running for my family. Michael Smith was very professional on doing the repair. He knew exactly what may the cause and got right to the source of the problem. Completed a tune-up while at it and work very efficiently.

I have been dealing with One Hour H/A for sixteen(16) years and they have always conducted theseselves very professionally. They installed my central heating and air conditioning, and have been servicing it over the years. Their technicians are thorough and professional. I recommend them for your air conditioning and heating needs.

Could not be happier with this company. I had to get an entirely new air-conditioning system in my home and they helped me through picking out the best one financing it with no interest, the installers were very professional and knew what they were doing. Then two weeks later I followed up to make sure everything was working right . Great job guys

The technician's communication was terrible. He failed to let us know pricing before changing out any part. He harmed himself while not using proper safety protocols which could have been a big issue since he was on our property. Further, he failed to complete the job and we still had to pay over 400 dollars for an incomplete service. Will never use this company again. I don't recommend them to anyone.

Follow-up visit by Ronnie Smith because the originally scheduled visit happened during rainy weather when only indoor and attic work could be done. Provided knowledgeable straight talk about a developing problem with the evaporator coil identified during the previous visit, presented simply enough for a non-HVAC-savvy customer to (mostly) follow. Scheduled a visit by another technician to get a second opinion about his assessment.

Tommie was very knowledgeable about the air conditioner and it's equipment both inside and outside. He did not push to have extra services done has some have done in the past. He explained everything to me in language I could understand and answered all the questions my son-in-law and myself had about the unit. When he came in he made sure that our animals didn't get out and wiped up the rain water that came in the front door when he came in without my having to ask him too. I would definitely recommed Tommie and One Hour to friends.

They were on time, and worked in a timely fashion. They knew what they were doing and did it well. They used drop cloths to keep my house clean and cleaned up after themselves. They had everything they needed with them and did not need to leave to get anything. They replaced everything in the attic , for the A/C unit and the outside unit also. Wires were moved to install a new thermostat on the wall. A new air intake was installed to better cool the air in the kitchen area. They worked from 6:30 am to 2:30 pm ,on one day. My papers were in order, showing what I bought and for how much? Showed warranted items and gave me a copy. They have scheduled a F/U to inspect the work and unit in a couple of weeks. We would definitely use them again.

AC not cooling on 6/12/2022. I called River City's One Hour Air Conditioning and Heating. When the technician arrived, he looked at my unit and recommended adding R22 refrigerant. Was told I would need 2-3 pounds at $500.00 per pound. I asked if other companies were charging that much and if there was anything cheaper. I was told no. I went outside with the technician and saw there was a meter with readings attached to my unit. I asked the technician how he would know how much refrigerant was being added. I was told there was no way to tell. I was charged $1151.00 for this visit. In less than 24 hours my unit is not cooling again. I called River City's AC and electrical on 6/13/2022. I told John what was done by One Hour and was told the refrigerant should not have been added to my unit. My unit was running hot and needed to be replaced. I was also told the proper method to add refrigerant is to put the gas bottle on a scale so you can get a measurement of how much refrigerant is being added. I am filing a complaint against River City's One Hour because I was lied to twice, and the technician misdiagnosed my issue. Lie #1- I asked the One Hour tech how do you know how much refrigerant is being added. I was told there is no way to tell. Per River City's, the correct way to add refrigerant is to put the gas bottle on a scale. That way you can see how much gas is being added so you can charge correctly. One hour told me there was no way to tell how much refrigerant is being added so they can charge whatever they want and put in as little as possible. Lie #2- I was told I needed refrigerant at $500.00 per pound. I asked if this was the going rate. Were other companies charging less? I was told, yes this was the going rate. Per River City's, there is a substitute refrigerant that can be used for $99 per pound. One Hour is price gouging and taking advantage of people who do not have AC. The technician sent to my home was not trained to know my unit was running hot. Per River City's, adding refrigerant would not fix the issue.
