Misleading sales
I contracted with Orkin for termite services. I was informed I could pay upfront or pay it over the course of 12 months. At no time was I informed this 12 month payoff was a loan at 21% interest nor was I informed there was a 90 day same as cash option. When I called customer service the response was "it is in the contract." With different accounts for different services and the volume of paper received from Rollins this clause would be easy to miss. The pest control team out of Ponca City Ok has been good to work with and explains the billing and service process. Based on my perception of an unethical sales process from the termite side I have dropped all Orkin services and would strongly encourage everyone to think twice before using their terminate services.

Recommendation: Don't use the termite services

Got service from Orkin termite control and insulation . the first 6 months no bill then come to find out they were sending the bill to a not existing o.o box in another town and wanted us to pay a 400.00 late fee. So wife paid the bill then next bill cane 2 accounts on 1 bill total for that month was 900+ dollars so we sent them a check they continue to call and harrass us wanting to know how they should apply the 1000 dollar check we sent . will never do bussinrss with them again .

I had to finance thru these people when I contracted with Orkin. I am currently set up on monthly payment plans since the fall of 2019. I have yet to get a statement in the mail. I have complained 4 different times that this will be resolved. It is now nearly June and it remains to be taken care of. This is a bad way to operate a business! I will never deal with this company once I get this paid off. If I could give zero stars I would do so in a heartbeat. If anybody out there has a choice DO NOT FINANCE ANYTHING WITH THIS COMPANY!

Orkin Vapor barrier
We were sold a vapor barrier based on fungus but they didn't install it properly. They laid plastic under the house and called that done. They didn't tape it or caulk it so it won't stay in place or even work. I was sold a product for a problem and the service they gave will not solve the problem. I was told id be given a refund and then I was sent a bill with no refund of any kind. Orkin takes advantage of ignorant people because they don't know what a true vapor barrier is. I'm a licensed contractor and I know so it didn't work. They collected funds from Rollins even though they refuse to complete the job.
Desired outcome: I would like to be credited for the vapor barrier and then pay for the service they actually completed.

Exorbitant charge
I've been paying off a March Rollins charge at $1000/month, every time I've received a bill. I was told that paying it off quickly would keep interest from accruing. As a widow on a fixed income, I appreciated that. I found out today that I have been charged full interest for the loan, starting from its initial date. Although it is a hardship, I quickly wrote a check to pay this off, since I fear further charges. I'm not sure I needed the service they provided in the first place, but trusted the technician who came and told me I should have it done. Now I feel like a fool.
Desired outcome: I would like them to return the interest I paid and explain again why I needed the service they performed.
Overpayment refund past 90 days
I wanted to pay off this loan so my bank sent a payment that was the full balance at that time but my monthly bill date was going to pass so I had to pay my monthly bill as well so that I don't have to pay for the late payment. I paid with my credit card on the date when it was due on 3/9/2023 in the amount of $774.19 than my bank sent in a check in the amount of $5,686.70 and was processed by Rollins on 3/15/2023 which was the balance to pay off the loan. When I called to confirm the overpayment and when I would be able to get my overpayment balance back they told me 30days from the day they have the payment. So I waited 30 days and called them back and they changed the story to 30-45days. I waited till 45days than called them again and again and now it is close to 90days. I emailed and called them several times and they don't seem to know how their company works and don't know how their accounting works nor have any contact with them. I don't understand how you could work customer service on payments and don't have a basic understanding of accounting or have communication with that department. I wanted to talk with their accounting department and there is no direct line either. At this point I just want to know WHEN my check of overpayment will go out. That is all. I tried to talk with their Manager Ashley who doesn't return my calls or try to talk with me over the phone. I really need some answers with someone in accounting department or someone who could answer my questions instead of me constantly calling trying to get to the bottom of this.
Desired outcome: I want an answer to when my overpayment will be paid back to me as it has been close to 90 days since you kept my money.
Financed termite protection (orkin pest control) through rollins acceptance company
Financed termite protection (orkin pest control) through rollins acceptance company. Overpayed for the service yet to receive my refund. The term for the service was $94.58 for 36 months beginning september to september . I have paid them $100 every month starting on 08/30 thru 06/04. Nobody ever contacted me or issued me a refund.I finally realised my contract was supposed to have ended on september . I contacted the company by telephone, the agent i spoke to first claimed i was not owed a refund,Informed her i had proof my checks had been cashed monthly as recent as june ,she then stated i was owed $1100.00.it has been over a month since i spoke with her, I still do not have my refund. My account no: XXXXXXXXXX I want details of my account including all payments by me and my refund mailed to me.

On 12/17 I made a mistake and paid my *** in full instead of the monthly installment. Immediately upon Rollins opening I called to get the mistake fixed and they assured me that the charge would be reversed. Since then I have spoken with them multiple times each time they say that my money has been returned when it hasnt. However they have been gracious enough to put that amount, $2,696.83 back on my ***. Calling them has gotten me nowhere, except that they say its been done. All I would like is that my money be returned to me as they say it has and that billing can continue as originally intended.
My *** asked for a quote from Terminex for a service. We asked for a quote and the sales person gave us the prices including a financing option. We never gave him our consent to run our credit nor did we give him our ss#. We asked him how he did that and he said he did not need our approval and only needed our address to get that info. He ran my credit twice and without my consent. I have requested for these 2 hard inquiries to be removed from my credit because I never authorized him to run my credit. They refuse to remove it. This is very very unethical. I tell everyone about this experience and we will NEVER NEVER use this company!
I received an alert from Credit Karma that a new inquiry was just added to your Equifax credit report. I logged in and checked it. A ROLLINS ACCEPTANCE performed a hard pull on my credit. I *** am not in *** at this time. I'm a *** citizen in the *** for over a year now. This is a mistake on thier part as I have no knowledge of this company. Nor did I allow them to do a credit check on me. They have the wrong person.
In middle April, Orkin (owned by Rollins) installed new insulation in my attic
In middle April, Orkin (owned by Rollins) installed new insulation in my attic. I was told beforehand I would get a bill in 30 days and decide if I wanted to pay, or use 90 days, or installments. On May 13, I sent a check for the entire amount $12,480. It was paid in full. But Rollins does not communicate with Austin TX Orkin where I sent the check, and they started billing me $1100 something for monthly payments due later on. I asked Orkin to straighten this out in July after the second erroneous installment bill. They might have. But last month I got a bill for $444 for "loan pay-off" when there was never a loan. I called Rollins and they never did resolve it but admitted I did have a credit balance at the time with Orkin. Then today I got another bill for $452. How do we get this to stop? I NEVER had a loan with them. I paid the entire amount to Orkin in 30 days.

I have gotten a collection letter from Rollins (Parent company of Orkin). When I moved in September, I gave Orkin over 2-3 weeks notice to not do services as I had just sold my home. Orkin got argumentative with me and still sent out a tech to do services. Now I keep getting bills and calls to pay them $113.42. 1. How does a company need 30 days when I just sold my home? (I was never told about a 30 day notice to cancel.)2. Customer *** Rep didn't heed my request and still sent a technician to do the job while I was at work.
Last year I made a late payment by a few days - I understood there would be a late fee , however it has never been posted on my statement . I did call the company and was told it would be taken care of but it has been almost a year and it appears on the statement I am 2 cycles behind . The other issue is I still receive a statement with a due date of the month before with a statement date marked 2 weeks later. I have called about this informing the company of the date of billing error , I was told the office manager is aware of this problem yet the company can charge a late fee when in fact there is not a late fee but the statement date is incorrect . I send in a monthly payment yet the *** is incorrect . Please help me resolve this with the company , I pay my *** and have every intention of continuing but my *** is incorrect .Thank you.

I continue to receive a monthly statement for services rendered by Orkin Pest Control in July/August this year from Rollins Acceptance co. Orkin was paid in full immediately after the servive was completed. I owe Orkin nor Rollins Acceptance anything. I get no satisfaction from calls to Rollins or Orkin. I can easily provide proof of total payment. I wish for Rollins Acceptance to quit harassing me. If they cause problems with my credit I will hire legal counsel. The last invoice from Rollins is. #XXXXXXXXXX. ($128.81).
We entered a contract with Orkin for insulation to be placed in our attics and crawl space. The work was not satisfactory as insulation dust covered material in both attics and required the use of masks to access the areas. Personal property was damaged and we sent the local manage an invoice for $800 to cover the damages. The manager came out masked and ultimately rejected our claim but if not settled we intend to file for arbitration against the manager and Rollins and advise our state Attorney General. The contract was for $6800 and we have paid $6200 ($800 & $5400) awaiting final resolution by Rollins, first or arbitration secondly.
I had a termite treatment on my house back in March which was financed through Rollins as Orkin
I had a termite treatment on my house back in March which was financed through Rollins as Orkin. I received terms of 90 days, same as cash. Since then, I have not received an invoice, statement or any other type of payment request. My finance agreement has no phone number or email for Rollins. It also has no account number to reference for online help (Rollins website works with account # only). I was able to get a phone number by calling my local Orkin office, however, my calls go unanswered. First, I am advised by recording that there is a long wait so if I leave my number, they will call back. They don't. So thereafter, I elected to wait, and after about 5 minutes, the recording confirms my phone number and advises I must be called back and hangs up. No call back. At this point, I will now be stuck paying Rollins the 18% interest, which I am sure was their goal all along.

My account was paid in full Feb
My account was paid in full Feb. 2020 which was originally scheduled to be completed on Jan.2021. I have unsuccessfully tried to reach Rollins Acceptance Company with frustration. I spoke with a representative on March 12 to inform the company that I paid off my loan. I was told that I would receive a refund of $114.36 because I paid it off early. I have called back on several occasions and was told that the check was mailed. I still have not received a payment as of April 28. Now when I try to contact the company, a voicemail says to leave a message but I still have not received a call back. I would definitely NEVER recommend Rollins Acceptance Company to anyone. I have read several reviews and it seems that other customers have the same problem. It never fails, Rollins Acceptance recording makes it possible to make a payment BUT will not provide a way to make an overpayment to its customers. Bad Business!

On October 22, I paid in full the amount listed on the October Statement (and online)
On October 22, I paid in full the amount listed on the October Statement (and online). This included current due along with late fees. On 2/18, I noticed there was a $20 late fee still attached to my account, I called and paid $20 over the phone. I called on 3/3, 3/10, 3/16, 3/22, 3/30, 4/1, 4/7, 4/19 all discussing that the $20 late fee was still listed on my account. I took notes from each call. The late fee was taken off on 4/21 but accounting took $105.30 from principal instead of the $20. This resulted in my next due date switch from 6/4 to 5/4 because I kept on paying the additional $20 fee along with my current due so I was ahead of the payment schedule. Not only did this accounting error change my due date, but it also affected the daily fee rate that I have also been tracking and taking notes on. I called on 4/19, 4/21, 4/28, and 5/11 to discuss this new accounting error. As of 5/12 the error is still listed.

We have been receiving phone calls from Rollins saying that we owe interest and fees and we must pay now as the amount owed increases every day
We have been receiving phone calls from Rollins saying that we owe interest and fees and we must pay now as the amount owed increases every day. We have never received any written information about these charges or even an account number they are for, so we are not entirely sure if this is a scam or not. Per a phone conversation with them, this is apparently related to a finance agreement we agreed to with the Orkin office in Reno, NV. The finance agreement says "Applicant will receive a monthly invoice along with instructions on how to set up electronic billing." We never received such an invoice or instructions. We tried very hard to figure out how to pay the full amount due well before the due date, but the Reno Orkin office was no help, and explicitly told us that no payment plan had been set up. Eventually in desperation we mailed a check for the full amount to the Reno Orkin office, apparently this was credited to the right place but not before fees started accruing.

Incorrect payment applied and not being resolved Rollins incorrectly billed my husband and I under his fathers account in July , but to our mailing address and names. I paid the bill in full under that account yet continued to receive statements. I have called each month since then attempting to get this resolved. In August I was told to ignore statements as the payment was being processed. In November, Rollins finally acknowledged that the payment was misapplied. In January, when I called again, they finally submitted a "research form" to correct the misapplied payment. I was assured this would be resolved expeditiously at this point. Yesterday, a rep from Rollins called my husband inquiring about missed payments. We are at 8 months since the service was performed at my residence and still dealing with harassment from Rollins. I would never advise anyone to use them! I have never seen a business respond so slowly and poorly to resolve a HUGE MISTAKE like this. They are apathetic and unapologetic about it.

I am customer of Orkin, whom uses Rollins Acceptance for billing purposes
I am customer of Orkin, whom uses Rollins Acceptance for billing purposes. I am contacting your offices because of the collection practices. I have an account with Orkin which has Rollins Acceptance as their billing and collection agency. I pay the current charges monthly on the account of $30.74 give or take the change amount, yet I get non stop collection calls from the company daily. They have even contacted me at my place of work a few times regarding the account. Not only did I have 8 months same as cash, I have monthly payments if I exceed this window. The company has sent mailing that I am past due on this account, and the calls start as early as 8 a.m. and as late as 9pm. Not only did I have Covid in November, and my work hours cut, I still continue to make the payments. I would like a breakdown of the charges showing where the past due balance occurred and how to correct this, to prevent the annoying collection calls. I'm not a dead beat account holder, and the calls cause me to have panic attacks.

This complaint about conflicting statement amounts and overcharges
This complaint about conflicting statement amounts and overcharges. This complaint is in regards to my account with rollins to finance mold remediation. Since October I have paid 319 per month. Records of my payments have not been properly updated online for me to view. Several payment records are missing including telephone payments and a payment made by orkin. My main complaint is this I receive statements via mail every month mostly less than a week before the due date, the statement says one balance and then I log into pay and the balance is roughly 60 dollars more. The amount I am paying every month is not bringing the balance down at all. This company is not forth coming with their fees as they are not listed on their invoice. I need a complete history of the payments I have made showing the originating balance and how much in interest is being charged per month immediately so that I can assess my financial situation as my hours have drastically been reduced the past two months at my employment. Paying 320 per month on a loan that's not even going down in balance is repetitive.

Orkin salesman from their local branch visited me on 10/25
An Orkin salesman from their local branch visited my home on 10/25. We discussed Orkintherm and termite prevention strategies. During the meeting, we explored financing options for the services, and I was presented with five different plans. I opted for a 60-month financing term at a monthly rate of $188.78, which was within our budget. I received an approval number and signed the agreement on the same day for the chosen term and rate. The installation was scheduled for 11/9 and completed without issues. However, my first bill from Rollins on December 3rd was unexpectedly $261.03. Upon contacting them, I learned that I was mistakenly not enrolled in the 60-month plan but a 36-month one instead. I was advised to speak with the branch manager at Orkin to resolve this discrepancy. After explaining my situation to the manager, he liaised with Rollins and confirmed the details I have outlined here.

Rollins and Orkin went through the contract to finance the work but failed to mention daily interest charges
Rollins and Orkin went through the contract to finance the work but failed to mention daily interest charges. Rollins and Orkin did work to my house in 2019 for health and safety reasons. I decided to finance because the amount was pretty big. While going through the contract they failed to mention daily interest accrual. I always wondered why my extra payments did not make a difference. But I called prior because I needed to see statements and they did not have them on the app or to provide. So, I called the representative (Valerie) on 6/10 and asked why is the balance an extra an extra $80 and it's only the 10th of the month. She said that my account accrues daily interest of $5.85. I said no one informed me while we went over the contract she said it was in the contract you signed. I replied key things that need to be gone over is amount, term, interest and so forth. Her reply was you should have read it. I was not pleased with the response because as a customer under stress when your home is invaded but termites and you needed to handle a expensive job quickly that should have been apart of the conversation. Also, I have yet to receive statements! Account: XXXXXXXXXX

I've been double billed because I made two different service transaction at different times
I've been double billed because I made two different service transaction at different times. The service was combined into another loan. contacted Orkin for termite service. Agreed to use Rollins Acceptance/90 day same as cash, which was accepted and approved in my presence. Representative convinced me to purchase the leaf stopper to help solve standing water issues. I called later that day after I was provided with an installation agreement. Representative said he would combine my billing so I would not have two separate bills to keep track of. What ended up happening was that the first loan agreement was accepted and never cancelled. The combined loan was also accepted. I began receiving billing for the first loan, which I paid off immediately. Then I began receiving billing for the combined loan. I thought it would be corrected once I paid the loan for the leaf stopper, which I paid off before the 90-day due date, but it didn't . I've contacted both Orkin and Rollins to no avail. Finger pointing was all I received on top of unanswered emails. I've reached out to the service representatives and his manager and admin person - still no response. This was September . The services were completed in May . I've been contacting both companies since, but nothing gets resolved and I am still getting billing for the remaining amount along with interest.

In *** my attic
In *** my attic. Aside from the fact that product they sold me didn't exist, and installed other they have, it took months for Orkin to finish the job. I got a call from Rollins saying my account was delinquent. I explained the job was not finished. I didn't accept a line credit with Orkin. I agreed to pay in full within 90 days. I paid through Rollins in two payments in July . One posted July 3rd and the other posted July 17. Since December , Rollins is calling me saying I never paid in full and I owe now almost $3,000. After more than 2 years! I talked to Orkin and they said it didn't make sense and they will talk to Rollins. In more than 2 years I was never told I owe money. I have talked to numerous employees at Rollins. Just 2 weeks ago I was told that they found the mistake. The payment was not sent to the right party and I owe nothing. Well, I got a call today 1/17/2022 telling me, it is true I paid, but I didn't paid late fees and didn't pay purchase taxes. I have the contract in front of me, in which the $9561.24 that I paid included the purchase taxes. It is impossible to talk to Rollins. Every time I talked to somebody, I get that the issue is resolved and then a new call happen in the next few days. I owe nothing. i am afraid that an inefficient business ruin my credit. Rollins need to correct the mistake.

I signed a contract with Critter Control in a city on 9/16, for 3 services
I signed a contract with Critter Control in a city on 9/16, for 3 services. The next morning I called the representative and told him I was declining one of the services and to please adjust my contract. He agreed to do so. However, it took over a month for the technicians at Critter Control to resolve my issue. Meanwhile, I kept receiving bills from Rollins Acceptance Company for $2599.24, which incorrectly included the declined service costing $432.67. I spent months contacting various Critter Control staff, including the Regional Manager, and attempting to reach the unresponsive District Manager. Eventually, on 12/7, the removal of the $432.67 charge was authorized. Despite my daily calls, the main office has yet to update the bill. Rollins warned of interest charges if the full amount wasn't paid by 1/1/2022. I insist on paying the accurate sum of $2166.57 and refuse to pay until the bill is corrected to avoid undue interest. Despite numerous calls to Critter Control's main line, the issue remains unresolved. My goal is to settle the correct bill before year's end to avoid any interest charges.

Rollins Acceptance Company claims I owe $1,589.93 plus penalties
Rollins Acceptance Company claims I owe $1,589.93 plus penalties. I paid the balance and remained unbothered for amounts due and owing for 2 years. On or about September 29, I commenced service with Orkin. I issued a payment of $1,589.93 as my first installment with Jesse Parker. At the time, one witness plus myself was present at the time of issuance of payment. I signed the contract via ipad. Jesse Parker proceeded to tell me that he would finish the contract in the car with my payment in hand. On or about 12/24, I called the final amounts due and owing before the end of the introductory interest rate expired. I proceeded to drive to the Orkin, Monroe, CT location to drop off two payments: $1,341.53 and $1,950.00 which was the remaining balance. On or about November , I received correspondence from Rollins Acceptance Company stating that I owed $1,589.93. After, receiving the letter I contacted the local branch to which I pay a monthly service fee for services I still receive on my home regarding the balance. Pam Scullin confirmed that I did not owe anything further. Also, she sent me an email confirming the amounts paid and dates. I have made various attempts to discuss the same with Rollins Acceptance Company. Further, I have requested for all parties to be a part of phone conversation to resolve. Rollins Acceptance Company has refused. At this moment, I feel as though Franchisor/Franchisee are trying to make me the customer responsible for a payment that they neglected to account for or exchange amongst themselves. As it stands now, the bill has accumulated further penalties. Be advised that I have never not paid Orkin for their monthly service fee. More importantly, from the period of 12/24 to October I remained unbothered for a request for any outstanding balance. Also, I would like to mention that I have had to contact supervisors in New Hampshire to resolve issues as to monthly abatement services. The problem to which I solicited their service has not gone away.
