I have been a cardmember since 2011 and this has been the worse experience I have encountered with Rush Card to date. The customer service has always been a challenge, the representatives barely speak English and/or have no concept of the English language period. Now, I have the pleasure of not being able to get through to customer service let alone gain access to my funds; which are direct deposited the 15th and 30th of every month. It is October 20th, 2015 and I have been trying for the past week to obtain my funds that have been deposited into the account. I am not able to speak with customer service because the call gets disconnected after two rings, my only interaction is with an automated voice. I'm not able to do any transactions what so ever on line. I have 3 children and I'm not able to get to my funds to go grocery shopping and winter is kicking in and I need to purchase coats for my children as well. This is very frustrating and what was a convenience has turned into an inconvenience. I would just like to speak with someone that would help to get my funds so I can feed my children and pay my bills. I have sent to emails and received an automatic reply with a ticket number stating someone will be getting back with to me within 12 hours, that was 24 hours ago. Mr. Simmons can write me a check, I have less that $200. available. I just want to be able to feed my children.

So rushcard is having issues. I got my direct deposit friday paid bills. Go to use my card today my 900dollar check is gone! I'm gonna get evicted because they have my money and I need it back in my account now! How can they do this and feel ok about it? I think if we all were to cancel our cards once we get our money maybe they'll listen and feel our pain. Come on now we worked for it and we earned our money when will this get fixed? Why why... I'm just gonna tell everyone cancel cancel it can't be successful if we don't use it. And by the way how's it feel to know we're all broke but russell simmons is fine bills paid. No problem but we're supposed to be patient. If it was russell simmons family in a bind would that hurry it up I think so. I'm soso very 😠 mad. Sent emails and called never got anyone on the phone what is going on? Ughhhhhh... I can't be more disappointed then now. Venting cause this hurts right in the pocket and hurts my well being.

This is a disgrace. I will never in my life allow any of my funds be put on another card. I got paid on Friday and here it is Monday and still no progress on my acct and its to late for my company to cut me a check because Rush Card shows a balance thats not there. I hate the customer service reps they hang up on you and read this dumb ### script to you about the system being down. Russell Simmons you can go jump off a damn cliff.
my money is missing
I have had money on my account since the Thursday before the glitch. It was in my rush goals for my rent. I transffered it back to my card and now it has been missing for over a week. I can not go to work because I can not get gas for my car. I have barely been able to get my kds back and forth to school and they even had to miss a day. My phone is off. I sent Rush Card my information via private message on facebook and email. I have heard nothing and I am still stuck starting week two...I do not know if I even have a job to go back too. I just moved my kids into a new place and if I can't work we will be homeless because I can't pay the rent. This is beyond horrible!

I have been unable to get my Direct Deposit of my payroll check that was schedule to post 10/14/15 usually you supposed to get it it early. I have been seeing money appear then disappear my account says that it was credited October 16th but when I went to withdraw my money it says I have zero balance... wow now I'm worried for sure. Not only have I called several time went online wrote letters No Response Well there is a real problem here I don"t understand how someone as rich as Russell Simmons could be having such a problem that cant be resolved . So my family can't eat or cant pay bills that were do like yesterday because are funds are tied up in some scheme.

I've been with rushcard for over 4 years and I have never had this problem until now. Well he has lost me as a customer, then he offer me free no fees until February, like I want that. Pay me for my pain and suffering without having any money and we will be ok.

Problem 1 - missing direct deposit from 10/15 Problem 2 - overcharged $100 at gas station (actual charge $38.10) Problem 3 - duplicate charges that already posted 10/9 now showing up again as "pending" Problem 4 - recurring transactions withdrawn and paid but not showing up in my balance history Overall, held for 2 hrs yesterday for customer service - no answer, I hung up. I have two emails out to [protected]@rushcard.com with two tickets #s but no resolution yet. Held for 45 mins this morning and WOW, a rep answered only to tell me that she can't access my account or any account because systems are still down. She offered to take my phone number and to text once my issue is resolved. ***How can you text me if you don't know what my specific issue is since she can't access my account because your system is down? Humm I understand their trying to empathize with us and just do their job but...this is far beyond their control. Executives, VPS, CFOs must now step in. A technology glitch? If this were a major bank or corporation (1st of all it wouldn't have happened) but it would been addressed and resolved within 24 hours at worst. However, since it's a prepaid card company with customers who have been stigmatized just because we even use this type of service, we can't get any help just lies and broken promises of resolutions.

Im sure you've heard what if going on..I've been calling rushcard customer service since Thursday 10/15/15.. Ive called over 27 times! Rep stated that i would definitley receive and have access to my direct deposit as of 10/16/15. Well, that has come and gone! They are withholding my paycheck and and next rep stated they do not see any direct deposits pending! This is crap I have my paystubs showing my money was deposited into the account. If two reps can pull up my account and tell me the exact amount that is pending, then why can't the others. I dont care if your system is down, send out paper checks.. it is illegal to withhold deposits for a reason like this! Ive already contacted BBB and FDIC and filed a complaint, and I promise I will keep going. Now because of this I have lossed wages because I do not have access to my funds to get to work and risk losing my job! I am a single mother of 5 children all under the age of 12 and cannot survive waiting around for rushcard to figure out what is going on. Nobody seems to have any answers. All they can say is We can assure you we are working 24/7 ..ALL SCRIPTED! I want my money now.. I will be seeking every legal option I promise you!

Don't ever ever ever sign up for Rush Card. Biggest scam going. They are taking people's money and blaming it on some system upgrade that has taken them over a week to get together. No one is that dumb. Never in history has so many people been so inconvenienced for so long, and they have the phone system rigged so they don't have to talk to anyone or hear any complaints. Nor do they respond to any emails that are sent as well. Now everyone account is at a zero balance. If you have rush card get a lawyer fast because you don't have to be a victim.

I cannot even begin to say how angry/frustrated and upset that I am and all the other people who have been affected by their computer failure so called update that they did...was without money for several days...been hung up on several times by customer service agents, been told they don't know how long this is going to take to get our funds and also cards being deactivated and put on hold status and also get a recording that they have high call volume and try again later. How unprofessional is that...then they decided to charge me for uncollected maintenance fees ( FOR WHAT?) [protected] is the only way I can get through to Rush card...the 800 # you cant get through...what poor business and poor customer service...I wont ever use rush card again or even recommend to anyone at all...will be reporting to FDIC as well...this is horrible...

why I can't access my money
I've been a faithful customer to you guys seven years never had a problem what's going on.. I called customer service and was on hold three hours and when they pick up I explain what's going on they didn't know what to say oh im transfer you.. I said wait.. She put me through another two hours I am so upset the rush card...

I have not been able to access my account or funds for over 3 days. I called they placed me on hold for 57 minutes. When they picked upthey started babbling about the system was now wroking i interrupted them and they asked for my card number and then preceeded to say hello, hello, hello i cannot hear you after 1 minute of muting and saying hello hello the rep said i am disconnecting this call as i cannot hear anyone. Bs i cant go onlie cant speak to them in person. I am cancelling my cards with them. I have had them for over 7 years. Shameful how thEy treat you once they get your business

Ive been a customer with this company for 6 years and this is really a disappointment. I am going on day 4 without any money and today is the last day i will be able to make it to work seeing as through i have no money to put gas in my car or money to buy diapers for my son. This needs to be fix today i will be lucky if i make it home from work today and if and when they fix this system they can count me out as a customer. Since monday 10/12 i have been declined to use my card and now my balance is zero and i haven't used it since sunday i had my check deposit to this card yet no money is shown
My husband and I both have only had our Rushcards since July 2015. I've been happy with my card experience until this update happened.. We both have direct deposit and are going on day THREE without ANY MONEY... We were both unable to go to work today, and don't have money to pay ANY of our bills or feed our children. What's worse, when you go to the website, it shows money has been deposited but a $0 available balance as well as telling us we need to activate cards that were already working. And to add insult to injury, when you call customer service all you get is a RECORDED MESSAGE! I expected more than this from Russell Simmons and his brand. I had the pleasure of meeting him years ago, and he took the time to sit down and talk to me. I'd always been a fan of his until NOW... After this, I doubt we'll support anything that he's apart of. The last update from Rushcard was almost a full 24 hrs ago. I have friends who have Rushcards as well and they're able to access their money but we still can't access ours. I started a new position at work today and couldn't make it and I'm praying I still have a job on Monday. If I get fired, will RUSHCARD OR RUSSELL SIMMONS TAKE CARE OF ME AND MY FAMILY? I HIGHLY DOUBT IT! The video message he posted on facebook seemed scripted and ingeniune.. I just expected so much more... WHEN WILL THIS BE FIXED? WHEN WILL WE GET OUR MONEY? My direct deposit is usually loaded on Mondays. With Monday being a holiday (Columbus Day) I just figured it would be a day late. With today being Wednesday there is still no sign of my money in my account. And I don't have access to the funds I do have in my account. I have bills that are now not only past due but also have no money to buy food for my family, travel to and from work, am now late on my rent, and jeopardizing paying other bills which are also accumulating late charges as we speak. This has all started happening after their Sun-Mon system update. I have tried to contact customer service but their line is busy, quiet, or hangs up on me. This is ridiculous. I work too hard to not be given access to my money and live paycheck to paycheck and can't afford to miss paying bills. After this is situated I think I'm gonna retire my Rushcard and switch my direct deposit elsewhere. This is ridiculous. Maybe they should credit everyones accounts for this inconvenience, since most of us are going to have to deal with late payment charges.

There are still people out here who actually live check to check Russell. I have never experienced a problem with the rush card so why keep changing things especially if you know that is is going to jeopardize a lot of people in paying there bills, putting gas in their cars, and feeding their children. I am so disappointed in this. I cannot reach a representative because all i get is ringing and then a beep beep beep as if I have been hung up on. Seems like you would have an automated system to let everyone know what is going on instead of us running around like chickens with our heads cut off trying to figure out where the heck our money is. I am so pissed with you guys and as soon as the matter is resolved I am switching to another prepaid account because the world does not stop going because you are having problems. Kids still eat, gas is still needed, and my bills are still unpaid! This is a disgrace. I would assume that since the company has so much money that everyone is as well as should be given a fund due to this inconvenience. I've been a rush card member for 3 years never had a problem until now everytime I call it hangs up no one talks don't know where my money is they better not steal my money, work to hard to be hearing this, patient long enough they need to get their stuff together this is so messed up update again set up on the back of plane. Ok where to begin.. I got a rush card last week(October 1st, 2015) so i could have my paycheck direct deposited on to it every week. I gor my first direct deposit in October 8th, 2015 which also activated my card. Everything was fine until Monday October 12th, 2015 when i used my card and it said transaction was unable to process. So i called the number on the back of my card and it had an automated recording saying there were changes being made and all cards, apps and numbers for Rush Cards so i waited till next day to use it. My transaction was declined and i know i have money on my card because i recieve text alerts from rush. So i immediately called the number on back of card and it was back to the normal automative system but when it looked up my card it kept saying my card was not activated and needed to be activated. And to do that you have to laod money. But all my money was on my card.i have 3 children and no money in my pocket. Every last dollar i had was on my. I called the customer service number and it puta me on hold to connect to a representative. I hear the music and then it hangs up on me. It is now wensday October 14th, 2015 and i still have NO MONEY and im still unable to talk to someone about my problem. And i don't know what to dobor who to talk to. And im freaking out cuz not only am i not able to have my money off the RUSH CARD but my paycheck is getting direct deposited onto it cause i was unable to atop it in time for this week. I have never had any issues and I have been a customer since 2008 and I said that proudly until Monday 10/12 - I read about this update that I never received an emails about or text messages - and then all the negative comments below this statement from Rushcard - I am disappointed at the lack of communication, the CS # just rings constantly, no update explaining exactly what is going on or happening - this morning I should have received my deposit from work and just like everyone else - my DD hasn't posted yet. I am a single mom of four kids - while Russell Simmons is going to lunch with his daughters I will be figuring out along with every other customer how to feed our families, get gas to go to work, pay other bills and continue to live. I went to Walmart and tried to load money on my card was told account number was invalid. I am another customer that has been with Rush Card since 2008. This is unacceptable. You have my direct Deposit however, I am unable to use the card. I think you owe everyone that is experiencing this problem the decency of finding a way to send them there money overnight by USP or FED EX if they request it. I went to CVS Drug Store to re-load (never have had a problem until) Monday, October 12, 2015. CVS could not activate the load. CVS thought it was something with their systems and apologized. I proceeded to Walgreens, whereas they had the same problem but received a code to retrieve the card from card holder. I explain to the retailer manager, this is a prepaid visa card that I paid a fee to reload, how is that you can retrieved my card. He explained he was only doing what the code has required the retailer to do and that he would be pulling all Rush Card Prepaid Visa from his inventory. Wow! What exactly is happening here, Mr. Simmons you owe your loyal customers explanations. I am deeply sadden for customers that has trusted you with their direct deposits.
