The Management and staff at the Save a Lot in Kenneth City, FL are so focused on not getting in trouble with corporate that they treat the customers like dirt. Every employee there is miserable everyday. It is rude when a question is asked and the answer is 'I don't know, ask corporate' or they don't listen just point to a stack of adds or say 'not my problem, ask corporate'. There are no smiles, no happy faces, just misery and it is a shame. Is it that bad to be employed? There is a constant disrespect here. From the managers, cashiers, stockers, meat, produce. I cant even think of one who smiles or is ever having an attempt at some level of helpfulness or respect of each other or customers. It is a bad way to run business. If it is busy get more help and get help that want's to be there. If Management is making them all unhappy then look into it. None of them look at the customer, they don't smile or ask how can I help, EVER. They don't treat the customer with a good nature, it is just hurry up and get out. If they do not like the job, they need to move on to a better line of work or store. I am so tired of the attitudes from all of the staff that I try not to stay long, I never ask questions or for help and if I have any items that don't ring up right I just tell them to leave it off as goodness the line might get stopped up and only one person is allowed at the register. If someone working there messes up they get backlash from their coworkers. I think this is an internal mess that affects the customer and it needs to be cleaned up or you will lose customers if you have not already.
Recommendation: Expect a long line, attitudes, don't ever ask questions and your expectations will be satisfied.
