Stater Bros Markets A Fresh Experience at Stater Bros. Markets

I recently tried the fresh produce at Stater Bros. Markets, and I must say, I was impressed! The quality of the fruits and vegetables exceeded my expectations. The selection was fantastic, and everything looked so fresh and inviting. It made meal planning a breeze, and the flavors were exceptional. I highly recommend checking out their produce section for a delightful shopping experience.

Stater Bros Markets Unprofessional manager, Jeremy, San Bernardino

Visited the store on March 9, filed a complaint here and noticed it has been removed. Location. 161 E. 40th St., San Bernardino. Requested cashback. Had to wait a totaled up 20 minutes after speaking with the cashier or three times she sent me a rude manager. Never apologize never explains just said ma’am it’s what I’m working on now. Once he they me the money. I asked him why it seemed like he did not care about anything that was going on. He said, I don’t care because you cussed at me. No, I did not cuss at him. He knows well that I did not cuss at him. I mentioned a word in frustration, and that is where he should have stood up as a manager and apologized being pathetic, professional but no, he began to say I heard you say a cuss word leave me leave leave you could go loudly or other people could hear his whole goal was to humiliate me and not to help me, after 20 years, you’ll never see me in this store again

Recommendation: Get this manager training, customer service, or move him out of a management position

Stater Bros Markets Rude unprofessional manager Jeremy

Duplicating the response I submitted to Corporate regarding manager located at San Bernardino 40th st name Jeremy. I requested cash back at the register. Unfortunately, there was no money in the register and they asked me to step aside, 10 minutes later after stepping aside, I asked if they had forgot about me. Cashier said they come when she calls them and she just called them. I walked away for another few minutes then went back to the registrar and asked is there anyway I can speak to a manager, cashier said I just called him he’s coming. Manager approached me and said im the manager what do you need. I explained to him that I requested money, and I had been waiting for some time now, Jeremy then said yeah that’s exactly what I’m doing. I’m going there now. Red flag!lack of empathy, lack of professionalism As he walked away, I did say a curse word however, it was not at him. It was my frustration. And he knew exactly that it was not addressed at him. But when he came back, I begin to speak to him and he said ma’am you could leave. I don’t deserve to be cursed at. He use that as an excuse to not to have to deal address my concern He began to say loudly, so others in the line could hear him say bye-bye you could leave, ma’am you could leave ma’am in a way to humiliate me. I’ve been shopping at the store for over 20 years every Saturday never encountered anyone like this before. I know this will not put a dent in the money that store brings in, but you will not get another penny from me at this store.

Recommendation: Get Jeremy the proper training, even better get him out of that store

Stater Bros Markets A fresh start

Respect and appreciation between employees and managers is vital to a positive work enviorment. I've been a courtesy clerk for almost 6 years at Staters and I love it. I love the fact that I chose to transfer to another store that I believe will allow me to reach my fullest potential. I'm highly motivated and extremely blessed. I will start working at Sun City Stater Brothers Feb. 7,2023. My first Stater Brothers store was store 187 in Lake Elsinore. It was a top 10 store so I learned from the best. My second store was in Perris #113. The employees at Perris Staters are fun to work with and compassionate. I requested to work at Sun City Staters because I believe it will provide me a chance to reach my full potential in providing excellent customer service

So I sent my son to buy chicken from Stater Bros Market. Store #86. 1661 E. 6th St. Beaumont, CA 92223. Store Manager: Raymond Bingham. We ordered a 12 piece dark and this is the type of chicken they sold me…. I am soooo confused. Why would you think it’s okay to sell this chicken to a consumer to consume? This is UNACCEPTABLE on so many levels. So I call...

I bought 2 lbs of the 7.99 a lb ground beef, when I went to pull enough to make a couple of patties. And inside the very nice looking meat I found what looked like days old meat. Is that what your having your butcher do is hide the old meat inside the fresh meat. IT WAS UNACCEPTABLE. Store #2, date 10/26/2023 and time 14:24. Oper# 4125035, trx# 1997. It...

Stater Bros Markets Management

I am so tired of going into this store and management making us feel very uncomfortable.. I think it's stupid for everyone here to act like it's something that can simply be ignored by us! When you go into a store you want to feel welcome enough and comfortable enough to walk in and pick up what you need just like the people they AREN'T profiling. They are supposed to “WELCOME” people into the business not call security as soon as you walk in! Racially profiling isn't someone doing their job! It's them discriminating, belittling, and downright being prejudice! Even if none of us have any intentions on purchasing anything, we should be able to go into any store and walk around freely without feeling followed Every time we go in that store they tell security to scan and they stare and follow us around the store.. this is harassment and very discriminatory.. My husband or myself have done nothing wrong to be treated like this! We ask is there a problem? Why you following us and staring at us? And of course they always say oh nothing you’re fine! Well if we are fine leave us alone if we did something tell us to leave your store don’t disrespect and do what they are doing! Instead employees whisper and look at us and management goes to a register and calls the register we are at and asks questions to the cashier! The cashier stops stares at us and says yes, no , yes no and we look and see them staring down at us from another register talking to cashier! Its ridiculous and it’s uncalled for.. we went in fri 6/30 again about 700 pm after not being in there for about a month and a half, looking for cherry dr pep zero, we saw a display of soda upfront and it wasn’t what we wanted so we turned around to go to soda aisle and again security scan store or whatever they say, we proceeded to soda aisle saw you had none of the item we wanted and come out of row and there was a Asian manager standing with security and staring at us again watching our every move then a lady manager came out to other manager and she stared at us too my husband again asked is there a problem why you staring at us, asian manager says oh nothing.. we’ll we walked out to our car and looked back in as we were driving away and they were all huddled by door staring at us drive away…I’m sick of this and being treated like this from that store.. it’s very uncalled for we have done nothing wrong, Even family members that come with us notice and ask why they are doing this to us and we are like we don’t know that’s why we always ask them if there is a problem!

Desired outcome: I would like for managers at that store to quit profiling people. And I would like an email back from a district manager at [protected]@aol.com…

Stater Bros Markets Night manager Jordan Redlands store

I have tardive dyskinesia it is severe with out medication I carry card with me at all times because I have been through the ringer with police and other's who mistake it for me being high on speed. Anyways, I wrote a check out at the checkout. I've done it many times now I should add I had to stop taking my medication because I developed an allergic reaction. Okay so the girl looks at my check and she says Just one moment she takes it over to the night manager. Jordan who looks at it and looks up at me and stares at me and then goes back or he comes to me and he hands me the check and he says we're not going to accept this check. I will admit that it was messy and very illegible but he asked me if I had another check or if it was the only one I had.I said no. I have my checkbook right here. I was going to write another check he said no. We just decide we're not taking this check. I had to use another means to pay with. I handed him my medical card which explains my disorder and he says what is this. I said it's My medical card which explains about my medical condition that people assume is something else. Oh nobody's assuming anything here. We're just not going to take your check. This was the most humiliating thing I've ever been through. Almost the other time was having the police called on me but that was taken care of. You know every time I turn around in the store there were two box boys behind me that had a shopping cart with nothing in it. When I went up to the register the girl. Got a call and staring at me and said yes I had two orders the first one I paid with an EBT card the second one for my dad I had forgotten my debit card at home so I had to write the check. I've never had a problem like that before there. I admit the writing Was messy on the check but they didn't even run the check and see if it was good or not. They just refused to take it. I'm really hoping that somebody does something about this because it's humiliating if there isn't and I really really will not go back to that store again. Unless something is done about him. I want an apology. You know I can understand if I hadn't had the card or I was putting stuff in my purse or whatever. But the fact of the matter is I handed him my medical card that states everything about tardive dyskinesia. He wouldn't allow me to write another check out. He wouldn't n I ain't nothing. He was just like no and was so rude when I heard it in the card and told him you know you need to read this. It's a lot. This disorder is mistaken for other things that people assume and he said I'm not assuming nothing and gave me the card back. I don't even think he read it. I don't know what else I'm led to left with to believe

Desired outcome: A personal apology

Today April 27 I went to my Rialto Starter Bros. Store to buy the shirt ribs on sale. They are very pricey but we're on sale for $6.99 a pound but they had none. I shop there all the time my husband just retired after 35 years as a driver, so I support the store and the people are nice. I myself worked in retail for 40 years. So when you have it ad please make sure you have it. It was a wasted trip. Sincerely Carlene Ramirez

Stater Bros Markets Employee named Harland

Good evening,

First off, I would like to introduce myself my name is Sandra. I am a frequent shopper at Stater Brothers in La Verne. I’m normally very pleased with every employee there. Everyone is very helpful. But there’s a particular person that is not. I do everything possible to avoid him. I do not like to stand in his lane when he is there. He yells across the store to other associates. He complains all the time about management and other employees. It is very inappropriate very unprofessional for him to do such a thing. But today I felt it was necessary to write about a situation that should be addressed asap I witnessed something that is very unfair to the employees that work with him. I was there Monday evening, April 17. I was standing in line and I can hear him complaining to customers about two teenagers that file a complaint against him. He said “I got I trouble today because two damn teenage girls complained about me just because they don’t know how to do their job”

Like I said, I’m a frequent shopper there and every single time I counter this young employees. They are very respectful, very sweet and very helpful. It is not OK for a grown man to be rude and mean to this young employees. If, in fact, these teenage girls complaint against him, and he is talking about this complaint to customers and other employees around, this is considered retaliation. That is something that should be kept confidential. I could imagine how uncomfortable these teenage girls feel now that everybody knows they file a complaint against him. The cashier name is Harland. He was very loud about it as well.

I hope this situation is addressed.

Thank you.

Desired outcome: Address situation

Stater Bros Markets Deli

The chicken in particular, the aroma from the deli smells enticing when arriving at the supermarket, it smell very delicious. You can see the pieces of fried chicken parts piled up under a heated dome and wondering if the chicken is fresh, or how long has it been sitting there, how many days old it could be. I purchase this item sometime not too often. I notice that it's always a dark golden color, as if it burnt by over cooking, or maybe it is leftover from the day before and rebattered and fried a second time. It is rubbery, the coating is thick and extremely over crunchy, and too salty. This chicken isn't fresh, only when it is first prepared. I would like to know how and who is behind the preparation of the chicken. It makes you sick to your stomach. (Please explain this one).

Thank you

S B (Mentone, CA)

Desired outcome: The out come is included in the description.

Stater Bros Markets Store #165 Orange, CA

The cashier Maria, was very rude when she ringing me up. She made no eye contact, and did not greet me at all. She kept throwing my groceries in a very aggressive matter. She didn’t give me my total, I had to look at her screen to figure out how much I was paying. People like her should not be cashiers, they are better in the back of the store with no customer interaction.

Stater Bros Markets Cake & Brown sugar

On February 25 at 9:10am I made a grocery purchase totaling $234.32. I purchased a cake from your bakery labeled Chocolate cake. When we cut it open for our family members birthday celebration, it was very disappointing as we saw that it was white cake. Tonight, February 26, I started to bake cookies for a work event tomorrow and opened the brand new bag of brown sugar, only to find that it was as hard as a rock. Extremely frustrating! Do advise.

Stater Bros Markets A very rude and profane manager

Writing to complain about a manager at the stater Brothers here in Barstow California he's been very rude and disrespectful to customers I am a paying customer and I was outside maybe 5 minutes waiting on a ride and he told me to get the f*** off his G.D. property and he's also been rude like this to other people and his name is Vince even his own employees say that he's on some kind of power trip or something like in I've been slanderized by him and I have witnessess I've been discriminated against because of my situation and the way I'm dressed I'm a frequent and regular customer and because I told him one time that he was in violation of my rights now it personal to him he drives around screaming profanitys at me when he isn't working threatens me and I'm honestly scared and a little confused as to why it's so personal to him he does this to anyone homeless and or just a little dirty

Desired outcome: I just want him to treat me and others with some courtesy and respect and if he can't handle that he doesn't need a managers position

Stater Bros Markets Rude cashier, called her self the manager, no clue on company programs.

Highland Stater Bros:

On 11/10/2022 at 9:20pm I decided to give the stater Bros App and digital deals a chance, BIG MISTAKE. Arrived to the cash register to be "helped" by Employee BRYEEZ. No greeting, no eye contact but was quick to give the directive "I DONT NEED THE WATER ON THE CONVEYOR" (Refering to my two cases of water. rung up all my utems and gave me my total and I showed her the SB app and digital deals barcode. She was completely clueless and said "what's that I can do anything with that" I said "I'm new to it also but it's a barcode may be scan it" she replied with an anoyed and inconviniensed tone "no give me your phone number number" I was patient and gave her my number, She replied" that does not come up" so I asked is there anybody besides you that knows the program like a manager? And she said "I AM THE MANAGER" with a smirk in her face like she won something...lol That irritated me so I said "really? Like a little night shift manager or a Manager?" Because she obviously had no sense of company programs or customer service... I think this hurt her feelings because she just kept on going on about how she was not in the wrong and she was not being rude. I cut my losses on the miserable couple of dollar discount with the digital deals and just decided to pay full price and walk away. As I'm walking away she kept looking to engage on a back amd forward yelling across the store so I knew she was deep in her feelings for some reason. The security came outside as I was walking to my car and noted my calm tone and kindly asked "my man what happened" I explained briefly and he said " waoo I'm sorry" it is sad when the best customer service in a Stater Bros comes from the one person without the uniform. Sad for "REAL MANGER MARIO AGUAYO" to be reprisented by his team that way, very unimpressed with lack of company program training. Also, it is sad Stater Bros is offering $500 dollars of hard earned Gross profit money to promote their app amd loyalty programs their own "little night shift managers" Don't even know. I am deleting the app and never looking into stater bros loyalty programs again. IF YOU HAVE IT GET RID OF IT, BIG MISTAKE, THEY DONT STAND BY IT or I can prove the "little night shift manager Bryeez does not know it" GOOD LUCK STATER MARKETING YOUR SPINNING YOUR WHEELS HERE AT STORE #8 Adress 1085 W Highland Ave. San Bernardino Ca 92405

Desired outcome: Would like to create awareness to the Store Manager of his teams lack of program knowledge and poor customer service in this shift. A refund for my digital deals would be nice too.

Stater Bros Markets Cashier rudeness

On october 10/19/2022 at 1:26 pm

I was purchasing items to exacute a in store event. Marilyn was my cashier for the day. Unfortunately, my experience was less than satisfactory. I had a company card that was issued to me to complete my transaction. Upon paying for my items the card was experiencing some difficulty in processing. I proceeded to contact my employer to report the issue and help complete the transaction. The cashier's demeanor became very passive aggressive and made rude degrading comments about what kind of card I was using in the first place since it wasn't chipped. I felt her attitude was completely derogatory and felt degraded in front of other customers. She came around to the other side were I was swiping my card she practically grabs the card from my hand as with a angry voice she says what kind card is this waving the card in my face I answer her a company card the says well your company shoudnt be sending cards that dont work smirking her lips making sounds of in a disgust maner she humiliated. The whole experience brought me great emotion distress and i'm sure if you pull up the video footage of this day you will clearly see her body language was not respectful in any way. I am reporting this incident as I would like to ensure that future customers do not have the same experience as I did or have an impression that this is acceptable behavior of the stater bros organization. I felt alienated, attacked and discriminated by this individual and hope this incident is addressed to avoid future issues

If you have any other questions or concerns you can feel free to reach me at [protected].

Sincerely,

Savina pena

Desired outcome: I would like a apology and reason for her actions verb and written
