Bad service Kaleena
I've been shopping at the store for over 10 years and never in my life have I had such awful service from someone in the deli department. My husband and I shop here frequently and spend tremendous amounts of money a year here. Usually we have the delight of working with Stewart or Brittney and they are absolutely wonderful kind courteous and just awesome...

As of today, 1/31/21, at around 8:15AM, I saw 8 Staters' customers without masks on at Fairview/Baker. You have no signage about masks, and no one enforcing the safety law. It is totally unfair for management to allow this. All of us, of any age, are jeopardized by your gross carelessness.
Our purchases won't seriously hurt you - we spend only about $300+ per month at Stater Bros. We've been loyal customers for many, many years - credit cards ending in 8907 or 3579 or 0766. Check us out.
Your failure is also dangerous for your employees, especially cashiers, but all your workers, those taking care of produce, stocking shelves, cleaning, etc., are part of your responsibility to exert reasonable safety policies - and the law - to keep them healthy.
The newest Covid variant is much more contagious than Delta. If you're not going to protect all of us, please put a prominent sign out front saying "Stater Bros. approves of customers doing their own thing and NOT masking up if they don't want to. As you may have noticed, non-maskers are certainly welcome to come into our store, any time. We don't think masking is necessary to protect your health or the that of our employees... Happy shopping! ... Signed (Store manager's name).
Please fix this. We want to keep shopping - safely - at Staters.
Desired outcome: Enforce masking
Mask enforcement
I went to Stater Brothers on Hancock Avenue in Murrieta yesterday. There is no sign on the door and hardly any customers were wearing masks. I went to the one on Clinton Keith Road in Wildomar and they are enforcing masks and have a sign on the door. Omicron has hit Riverside County and it's going to get out of control if people don't follow protocols. I am not stepping foot in that store until the protocols are met. Please take care of it. Thank you
Desired outcome: Unsatisfied l walked out
Digital deals
I get so angry when I am in Stater bros, see a digital deal (I am signed up) and forget to run my number at the register. You benefit from me forgetting and I believe you can offer these deal as regular sales to save your customers money but you don't. I would have saved $2 on Folgers today. I live across town and I am not going back so you win.
Digital Deals don't work. I had trouble signing up and now I can't redo or change anything. Is there any way to reset the sign up so I can start all over? I've tried it with both my phone numbers and both emails, so I'm rejected when I try redoing the sign up😡
Jesus checker at Stater Brothers Market in Redlands CA
On the afternoon of December 16th I was checking out with my gift cards and purchases, while looking for my debit card the clerk, Jesus, asked me a question, I answered him, but he asked me again, thinking he couldn't hear me, I raised my voice and answered again, he then, in front of all the customers said, in a loud voice, there's no need to yell, I was trying to explain that I wasn't yelling, I raised my voice because he didn't hear my answer, but he did not listen he just kept saying in a loud voice, there's no need to yell lady over and over like he was trying to pick a fight with a 76 year old woman. I was shocked to be treated like this. I have always shopped at the Staters on Greenspot Rd in Highland and have been treated with respect, why do you keep employees like this? I will never shop at this Staters ever again! I worked with the public for years and always put them first!
Desired outcome: Dismiss employees that insult customers!
Not following the states masks mandate
December 17 2021 store location 11635 Bryant St. Yucaipa Ca.
Lets first begin with the fact that the managers are not requiring the staff or customers to wear masks The store is full of people not complying with the state of California mandates! NEWS FLASH... my life matters! My elderly mothers life matters! Now lets move onto the fact that the same managers allow trump parades to end and congregate in the parking lot every single Sunday! How is this? Why as a member of the community do I have to arrange my trip to your store to avoid a hostel environment? It is clear my the articles submitted and published in our local paper here in Yucaipa and Calimesa that the majority of us are against this sort of nonsense! I guess it's time to bid farewell to a company who only cares for those who vote red but doesn't bleed it! I am beyond disappointed with the chain, managers and employees and the customers who believe their rights to not wearing a mask is more important than my life! I shouldn't have to announce my medical reasons as to why it protects me! Now that it's clear the company doesn't care for me or my life I will spend my $1, 500+ a month somewhere else who has the balls to stand up for what's right by the community and not politically.
Desired outcome: ENFORCE MASK MANDATES!!
Employee safety
I am a manager at another retail company and I'm sure it is against the policy to stand on a U-boat. Also the employees at the location in highland are young and they curse at each other on the sales floor. Talk to each other and completely ignore you while your at the check out line. I'm sure that isn't considered professional behavior even for a grocery store. Managers name is Mason Salinas store #58
Desired outcome: Better training and hold employees accountable
A terrible manger
I worked at Stater Bros in Victorville Ca, off Hook Blvd. I was hired in September 2021, and was fired on Monday, November 22, 21, due to illness, the past few days. I was given a doctor's note, and I took it to my manager. I had a fever, couldn't smell, couldn't taste, had a cough, sore throat, earache, and a lot of congestion. I went to the doctors and got a sick leave from work, I was off from Nov 18, 2021thru Nov 20, 2021. When I returned back to work on the 21st. I was told by management that I could leave because I was still very sick. I had customers asking me not to bag for them, asking me why I'm allowed at work sick, that it's worrying to them because they're scared of getting sick. I came back into work on Nov 22, 2021at 9:30am for my shift and was told the manager wanted to talk to me, as soon as I walked in he told me I'm still on my probation period, and have taken too many days off. I told him I had a doctor's note and he told me I've taken a few days off before I got sick. I told him if I took any days off it was school related because I'm still in school. I told him when you hired me you said, you would work around my school schedule, and that it was one of the many perks of working here. Since I've started working for Stater Brothers I haven't been to school in months, I'm always scheduled on my school days and usually have to wait till I get off work to try and finish my assignments alone. I dont think it's fair or right that I was fired I've had a couple incounterments with the main manger Jose already, he is more worried about himself than his employees or customers, I've been verbally harassed at work on many occasions whether is was being called stupid, or being uncomfotably hit on. I told this to Jose and nothing had changed. He was willing to have me come back to work sick and still contiguous and willing to get other employees and customers sick.
Assault
I dropped a bottle and was refused by a manager to sell to me liqour... I come there everyday and never met this cat... I grabbed my bottle walked out he chased me on camera an assaulted me in your parking lot.. I want to pay for the bottle and press charges for your manager assualting me on camera inside your building and in the parking lot he grabbed me he knows the rules I told him step away he is not trained and not law enforcement I want to pay for my bottle and press charges lmk what is best for stater bros but fire this guy he knew the law and did not follow it
Desired outcome: fire the manager and pay me something
Employees.
Too many employees standing around gossiping, constantly seeing this store employees talking..
I always have to wait my my groceries to be bagged! So slow and again talking to other employees while doing so.
Store #204
Desired outcome: Have a meeting to take action!
Customer service. Bag lady named Iris A
I entered the store around 8:30 p.m. on a Wednesday night which is October the 6th. When I went to the checkout line I place my items on the belt and the person in front of me got her stuff rang up and then she said that she left her card in the car so she left the store to go and get her card out the car. I asked the checker could she void that person's order and continue with mines until she came back. The checker said that the screen was loading and that she had to wait until it was finished loading which I responded to okay then Iris a came over and she leaned over on the bill and said if you're in a rush go to another line. I said sure if you're going to help me move all of my stuff to another line she told me to shut up and I told her you shut up and the argument began there. Iris had no business joining in the conversation with the checker and myself because the issue had already been resolved. She was very unprofessional as she claims she was on a break so if she was on a break why was she communicating with customers.? Other people who bag groceries which was about four people including one young girl who look to be a teenager came over and asked me if I was an adult which I responded of course I'm an adult why would you ask me a such question. Especially if she didn't know what happened she just came over to defend her friend / coworker which neither one of them had any business involving themselves in the conversation that I was having with the checker. I would like the cameras to be ran so that you can see how all of your customer service is very unprofessional rude and disrespectful.
Desired outcome: I wouldn't mind coming in to have a meeting with Iris Tammy the manager and whomever else was involved to find out what their problem is with African American customers.
Unprofessional staff
I'm fairly new to the community and decided to visit this market due to this was the closest market to me. I'm a Walmart, Raphs and Albertson shopper. After my experience at this location. I will remain with the above mentioned stores. I visited this market on Labor day 2021, I was impressed how clean it was.. I wanted a particular kind of slab of ribs so I...

8/29/21 for the SIXTH time I am shopping with dogs in store. Each time I contact a manager. For the second time I spoke to "David" who was exceedingly rude to me. According to "David" if a customer "claims" the dog is a service dog, it's ok. Each time I have had to talk to "David" the dog was a Chihuahua and a Yorkie. What service can either of the provide that the owner cannot do for them selves as required by law? The Yorkie was wearing a that that states COMFORT DOG, which is NOT covered in service dog law. David was dismissive of me and my concerns. Apparently, customer of Stater Bros do not have a legal right to food safety, according to "David". I am sick of seeing people parade their animals in my grocery store. It is clear to anyone that these are NOT "service dogs" as described in the law (which I have had to research due to the lackadaisical attitude of this stores management). I am treated like "I" am the problem and annoying them when I demand that my families food get prioritized over someones self declared Chihuahua service dog. I want Staters corporation to contact me and take my complaint. I was shopping at this Staters for 13 years. I will not longer take my money to Staters as it is clear that they have no regard for my food safety, which they are REQUIRED to under law.
Desired outcome: Stater Bros corp to contact me and investigate my complaint
Money order service employee attitude, and employee attitude in general are rude and unprofessional!
Money order service employee, and employee attitude in general are rude and unprofessional! I'm 47 years old single mother with a disability and I have 2 disabled children. Everytime I go to Stater Bros, I'm treated horribly. The only reason I go there is to buy my money order for my rent. If it wasn't for this reason, I wouldn't bother going there!

I called this morning asking about if I can exchange the product I have bought he said yes when I get there one of the managers said to go get the one I wanted so I went to look and they didn't have the one I wanted so I asked him If I can get something else and he said yes when I go pay there was another manager and he said no that I couldn't exchange it for something different. He was really rude talking and I said that you don't have the item I want and he said then I can't exchange it or refund your money
Service Deli
Ordered 48 piece chicken. 24 baked 24 fried. They started batching 5 minutes after the pickup time! While half the batch is under a heat lamp and the sour cream and beer I just purchased along with the chicken order, is now getting warm! I'm on a time schedule here. This was very unprofessional!
Desired outcome: Compensation for my time, food going bad with a batch of chicken.

4-17-21 I was forced to bag my own groceries into my own cart while 3 employees stood around me and watched.
Tammy, Gail T and another girl stood chatting while I did there Job for them.
They purposely did it to me alone because as me and my brother walked away they walked away and went back to their stations. Tammy started bagging the next customers bags, Gail went to her station.
The other woman went to bagging other customers groceries and putting them in the cart.
I spoke to the manager Dulton. He said he spoke to the women but I feel he did not take my complaint seriously.
He told me to just start off fresh with those employees and move on.
They treated me like a second class citizen by refusing to acknowledge my existence. Refusing to do their jobs by placing my groceries into the cart. And than leaving their conversation as soon as I walked away.
Tammy also did a previous act of discrimination on me on 4-13-21 by pulling my water bottles my brother already paid for away from me. Tried making me grab them by reaching over to the counter but instead I went into her station and grabbed them like a human not an animal. Like I think she wanted me to do.
It is on video. I know because the manager Dalton pulled it for me. He did not deny seeing that act on tape. He just said he would talk to the employee tammy about her actions of forcing a customer to go around and grab their water that was being held from them after paying.
He also told me to just start fresh, basically forget about the incident.
Tammy and Gail T outright discriminated against me. Treated like garbage and I was told to just move on by the manager.
That is unacceptable.
I am seeking answers and actions brought upon the two employees for making me do their job for them.
And an understanding in why your manager of that store told me to just forget about the incident.
The staff in the branch has also made discriminative statements about people using EBT benefits.
Example being one worker saying " I always make the food stamp people put their own soda cans into the basket. They can work they just don't want to.So i make them put their own cans in the basket "
That action is something I have seen and have done to me in the past.
But this incident was too much. You don't treat people differently in America for having to use assistance in hard times.
Desired outcome: Employees are held accountable for their actions
Stater brothers store #3 in colton/valley
Sunday night approached the meat clerk and requested meat on a special process for the meat. He said, I'm new and I can't do what you are asking. My husband asked to speak to key carrier, minutes went by during this pause the meat clerk started picking up wraps of trash from the floor, my husband and I asked him please don't touch items from the floor and...
