I was scrolling through my bank statement and discovered a charge for $29.95 on December 28, 2010. I had never ordered or authorized any one to take $29.95 or any money from my account.

I have tried to contact scoresense to return my money to no avail. I am tired of these things happening. I have had subscriptions to magazines with money taken from my account despite the fact that I had never ordered any magazines. If you don't check your account, these people get away with it. It's so frustrating.

My name is Caroline Flanagan I am 67 years old and this company is taking money for services I don't need. I don't have any credit cards so why would I need them. I live on very little money a month (555.00 ) and need to know how to get rid of these crooks. Help me please!

So, My Grandmother wanted me to check her credit score. I saw scoresense.com and I figured I would give it a try. I paid the $1 and got her score... As soon as I received the score, I put in for the cancellation so I wouldn't forget... Whelp, 7 days goes by and I forgot all about doing that, until I went to check my account and saw that the $39.95 was deducted... I called and the guy I spoke with was very nice and pleasant and put my refund request through... I then get a reply stating, "The refund was not approved because you requested the refund after your communicated billing date." which was actually TODAY. BUT, they did approve the refund for the $1, FROM 7 DAYS AGO! So, I called back and spoke with a Lady and she stated, "Your account was created 7 days ago at 10 AM, and you requested the refund at 1 PM. Therefore, it's is actually AFTER your communicated billing date. BUT, they will be so kind to refund me the 1 dollar from 7 days ago... Complete scam!

on 02/11 @22:29 score sense took 39.95 from my account without my authorization and now it's coming to me where this fraudulent activity is coming from it's a HARP online application with no mention of any money and I have reported it to (IC3.GOV).

I lost my bankcard, I called to see if my score has changed they never sent me info about there work, and I could not get any information until I give them new card information, these people are sick in the head, do not use these people. Everyone was not born last night.

I called them over a year ago and tried to cancel, after three different agents they said ok but they would give me one month free. After that month they started charging me again. I called numerous times and they would put me on hold and later hang up. This month I tried it again and they hung up on me but within a minute I had an email saying account was cancelled

I was paying Score Sense $9.95 through a small bank account I have on my own, separate from my wife and my combined checking account through another bank. This month they debited $29.95. When I called and disputed it, a lady said all she could see was $9.95. I explained to her that I was looking at the $29.95 charge on the computer, but it seemed to make no difference. She then said it must have been my wife that made the charge. I explained to her that my wife had no access to my card. That didn't matter either! It was like I was lying! Bottom line, I'm out $20. I told her I wanted the service stopped today! This company is a scam, and a rip off!

I had a charge I didn't recognize on my checking/debitdard statement of 89/99, one phone call did the trick. I have to compliment these oversee's CSRs as they are much improved with their english compared to a few years ago.

I bought my credit score for $1.00 today I find a charge or $19.95 on my card. I called & was told I received an email that I would be charged in 7 days for their service & a welcome pack. I never received this at all. I am tired of companies trying to rip off the consumers like this. I let her have it on the phone. I am expecting a full credit in 2 days if I do not I will call back & make sure they give me my credit! Don't use this scam site

I am so angry at my self that I fell for this scam; posting a $1.00; 30 day trial to check my credit score; then two days later I was financially bitten by a 29.95 fee. Which sent my checking account into an overdraft frenzy; yes the company did (score) on my stupidity and they are senseless when it comes to refunding you're money; the only advice the bank teller told me was to cancel my previous checking account and apply for a new one so scoresense doesn't keep sucking my checking account dry

They submitted a chart to my bank of 29.95 for a product tat they said was a $1.O0 to test before ordering the product. This has caused me to have a bank overdraft and my a bank, transfer that both caused a negative statement hen my bills was processed. I would like all my money returned to my account and no more taken . They should not be doing this to people.When I called the numbers it goes to voice mail and hangs up.

I have no History is company, I never signed up for Company. Money in the amount of 29.95 was taken out of my debit card account without authorization and distribution. It is an emeregency that The money is to get put back into my account. Customer service was contacted I did speak with a supervisor but I can not get in contact with corporate. Government complaint has been made and reference number is [protected].

I was misleading on this website. They took money out of my account not just once but 4 to 6 times. They took $29.95 out for my report an $29.95 for my wife report. Then they took money out for what ever. That was $4. They couldn't even show me my credit score.I had to figure it out my self. If I would have known this was such a FRAUD company I would of never alooked at there website. It wasn't even seven days an they had the money out of my account I would like my money back. This company didn't help me out at all.

Score sense to money out my husband an my account before we gave them authorization for them to do it. I just talked to score sense that people told me with fraud score sense would pay the customer a million dollars . So does that mean score sense will pay my husband myself a million dollars. I will not ever go thru these people again for my credit score. These people lie to you. So I would like my $29.95 for my husband so called account an my $29.95 for my so called account plus the $4 they took out also. This company is a FRAUD company. Thank you

I was to get one FREE credit report. In order to get this FREE report, I was instructed to enter a credit card number. A charge of $1.00 would be refunded.. I didn't understand I was being duped and that I was going to be charged $29.95 per month for eternity. I am an old lady on social security. At no time would I subscribe to a service that matters not to me. I was curious for 'one FREE' report but that was the extent of my wants.

For the reason I was scammed and misled, I expect a full refund.. Refund to credit card you have on file.

YOUR ORGANIZATION should be ashamed of themselves! Taking advantage of people who are trusting and not aware of the many shenanigans that are perpetuated by people like you.

Did not even discover that I was being billed for this service until under audit. Wife thought charges were for something else and I never look at statements (I guess that is what they hope everyone does). Do not even remember signing up for credit reports but perhaps we were looking for free or $1 credit reports at some time and probably went through this offer. HOWEVER, at no time was it clear (nor does anyone here remember) that we were going to be billed on a recurring basis. We never received, nor viewed, any credit reports at any time. We never received, nor opened, nor viewed, any correspondence, alerts, etc.., at any time.
The reason was that Scoresense was supposedly sending all reports, alerts, information, files, downloads, attachments, requests, etc...to an email address that was unrecognizable to us. Therefore, we never received anything stating we were receiving any services. We never responded to any requests for information. We never opened any attachments sent. We never opended any reports. When this situation was brought to my attention, we were billed for over one year. Spoke with a rep initially one the phone and he reviewed my account, which took some time to verify because I could not provide the correct email address.
I presented him with my current email address for future correspondence. He stated that after review, he could see that I never utilized any service, responded to any alert sent, opened any attachment, etc...and that the account had been canceled months previously. He stated the account was canceled for rejection of payment withdrawl attempt. The only reason that happened was because I had a card stolen and had to close that account and open a new one. The rep stated that he would send the request for refund in and I should hear back in 1-2 days. Heard back and it was an interesting email that I received. They approved a refund of the final month charge and also the initial $1 charge but denied the rest.
If you refund the initial charge and the final charge that means you acknowledge anything in between is inaccurate. However, after review, 7 of the monthly charges had been double billed and not refunded. So they kept 2x the charges for the decpetion. Another situation is where will the charges be refunded to because they have no information for me. I called again and explained the situation to another rep and she put another request for refund in. She stated that most are not approved but she could not make any guarantees because it all is reviewed by the corporate office in Dallas (which she stated they have no contact with, are not in the same city, and are instructed to tell the public not to contact).
I asked for the corporate office phone to speak with someone and she told me that was not possible but that she would give me an address and I could Google it myself and try to get a phone number. I am now awaiting the second response to my request. Even if they take the position that I should check my statements every month for accuracy, they cannot justly explain the double charges, the rationale behind initial and final charges refund, or how they are going to process any refund approved without my account information or contact with me. I will await their next decision and update this accordingly.

Just received another refund review. They approved one more charge this time. This time it looks like it was in the middle of the billing cycle. How can a company refund an initial charge, the final charge, a charge in the middle, but still state all other charges are valid? They initially approved the $1 initial charge, and the final 9/13 $29.25 charge for refund. On second request they approved a 6/13 $29.95 charge for refund. However, all remaining charges in the months between were denied.
The latest email did not even list many of the monthly charges from previous email for either denial or approval. I wonder if they were purposely left off of the correspondence because of the double billing in those months? I am trying to copy and paste their responses here but having difficulty. I may have to put them in a file and download for all to see. I am going to contact them again and ask how they are processing my "refunds" without any account info. I will also ask about the double billing, etc... and update accordingly.
