Terrible job!
Terrible job! A shame *** continues to use them! Out of pocket expenses were unjustified and they left my ceiling damaged and won't come out and repair it so I have insulation coming down out of my attic.

Me and my hubby put in a service request on July 9th. Ain't nothin' happened yet. They keep sayin' they waitin' on the part. But the manufacturer said they got the part and it's been there. What's up with this company? They ain't got no integrity.

I was recommended this company by HW. After 3 days, I had to call them myself to find out that my HW company had transferred the contract to another company. They didn't bother to call and inform me about the situation. The customer service is really bad and I still don't have any air.

I've used this company more than 15 times for my many Rental Properties and for my own personal home. Not even once have I ever been disappointed! They've always been prompt and responsive for every phone call. I've used them for 6 HVAC repairs, 4 Electrical repairs, and 5 Plumbing repairs. Their customer service is great and their prices are good too.
They were supposed to come fix our AC with our home warranty company
They were supposed to come fix our AC with our home warranty company. They came really fast, told us we needed a new part, and then left us with no updates for over 2 weeks. We had no AC in August for over 2 weeks! They hardly answer the phone or call back and the one time I got them to answer, they told me the part was specially ordered for our system, which doesn't make sense. The home warranty company sent another contractor who got us back up and running with AC in a day! DON'T USE THIS COMPANY!

I had scheduled a service with Service Mechanical of Tidewater, Inc. through my home warranty. When they contacted me, they informed me that due to their driver's route, they could only offer me a time slot between 7-11. I asked if it was possible to have an afternoon appointment, but they explained that due to their driver's route, the only available option would still be between 7-11. Luckily, my wife had the day off because of the holiday, so we were able to accommodate their schedule.
The technician arrived at my house and inspected my equipment. He then informed my wife that he needed to get a test authorized and that another appointment would have to be scheduled. I called the company and was told that I would receive a call once they received the information from the technician. It took a long 9 hours before I finally received a call back from the company. They explained that since it was a service appointment, the test wasn't authorized and the technician had other appointments. They also mentioned that after the test, it was likely that another appointment would be needed for any repairs. And yes, you guessed it, all of these appointments would be between 7-11.
The dispatcher I spoke to on the phone was extremely rude and even referred to herself as the "owner of the business" when I got a bit frustrated and asked to speak to her supervisor. The only positive aspect of this whole situation was that the technician did arrive on time.

They use confusing language that seems designed to trick the customer into paying extra charges. For example, they use terms like "#1. ***" which actually means removing the old unit and disposing of the core ***. Another example is "Vent Modification" which, in reality, just involves taking the old exhaust vent and putting it on the new furnace. They didn't actually modify the vent at all, but instead purchased two cinder blocks to adjust the height of the furnace. And get this, they charged me for each cinder block separately! I have pictures of the vent before and after the service, and they clearly show that no vent adjustment was necessary. It's clear that the language they use is an attempt to mislead, but when I asked the service technician about it, he confirmed that this is what they meant.
Air conditioner stoped working
Air conditioner stoped working. Technician came out June 5th and diagnosed. A s of today July 13th still waiting for parts and repair. On June 4th my air conditioning unit stoped working. Had a technician come out June 5th to diagnose. Was told unit is 24 years old and the compressor had gone bad. Recommended either new compressor or replace unit. As of today July 13th I am still waiting for the parts to arrive so unit can be fixed. It has been several weeks and the temperatures are in the mid 90s and unbearable for my small children. While I understand the delays in shipments due to the current pandemic, 7 weeks is an extensive time to wait for repairs. I have contacted the company numerous times to check the status and have been told they are still waiting. This delay is at the expensive of my family's health and safety.

Service tech came out to troubleshoot on August 19th. They quickly figured out that the evaporator coil was no good. They said it would take 'bout 10 days to get the part in. I called 'em 'bout 10 days later to check on the progress. They told me on the phone that they ain't responsible for ordering the part, it's my warranty company's job. I corrected 'em 'cause there was a note in my paperwork sayin' they needed to order the part, not the warranty company. The person then said it was already on order and would take 10 to 14 days to ship, which didn't make sense to me 'cause it had already been so long. Now it's Monday, September 13th. I called 'em again and still no part. The heat has been unbearable, reachin' over 100 degrees, and my daughters have had to stay at their friends' houses 'cause our house is miserable. It's ridiculous to me that this company don't care 'bout their customers' satisfaction.
