In 2020 Dec I bought a Technogas Ceramic cooker with extended warranty. A few days back the cooker glass top just broke without any trigger. We were cooking as usual and heard a hissing sound. A few minutes later we realized that there was crack on the top.
I applied for warranty, but the service centre informed that physical damages are not covered under the warranty. I then checked the warranty terms but there was no exclusion for physical damage.
I asked the team which clause covers this, but they could not give me any such clause and just kept of repeating physical damage is not covered.
Firstly I’m truly disappointed that an appliance which was bought at a premium could just break with significant risk on us. On top of this Sharaf DG is not willing to include the repair under extended warranty thought prima facie it is not excluded from the warranty
Desired outcome: Cover the repair expenses under extended warranty
