Cleanliness or the Lack of
I have visited many Sheetz up and down the east coast, and do like many aspects of the business. One item that I do not understand about Sheetz is no matter the store I go to the trash is out of hand and disgusting. Over flowing trash bins and trash all over the parking lot. It is a big shame to see. I get it that some people/customers are disgusting and filthy, but the employees should be cleaning the areas. Take a little pride now, come on.

so they let anyone be a manager these days. This one was clearly about being the big man in the store in front of all the young ladies. I had made a mistake and reported that they hadn't given us the food we ordered and ended up with a second order of the same after we discovered this. Prior to this though, the people behind the counter put two sandwiches we did not order in the bag, hence the reason we thought the other parts were missing when we reported it. The manager not 10 min later came to our table to check on the fact that we had two orders. I had stated up front, "yeah we noticed our mistake and i need to pay for it" To this response, he replied "yeah, yeah you do." He was too busy sounding cool trying to be ghetto to notice how severely rude his reaction was. I called him on it at the front counter and initially he just turned his back to me and walked away. I explained to him i was perfectly willing to pay for the item and he continued to call me out as if i was doing something to rip off his store. The part that gets my goat is that this was all for a $3.59 food item after which they had already said to keep the sandwiches (their mistake) since they can't take it back over the counter. So this was absolutely not about the money but to make a point. I'm sad that this is the type of behavior and customer service you allow in your stores.
Desired outcome: I believe this manager needs to have this on record as to how not to act to customers because that store just lost one customer that regularly spends upwards of $40 per meal in the store on a regular basis.
Poorly made wrap
October 3rd 4:53pm order number 542 I ordered a grilled chicken wrap with only Colby jack cheese on it. I literally ate it five bites, it had hardly any chicken on it what so ever and I paid $6.25 for it. It didn’t even fill me up and I refused to go back In and get something else. The employees need trained on how to properly make a wrap, the wraps are never consistent.

I am a frequent Sheetz customer.
I stopped at the sheets at 1551 Glen Center Dr Kernersville , North Carolina on 3 October 22. The USA and NC flags flying and were ripped to shreds. I went in and told the manager that this flag should never be flying.
He told me he was told to continue to fly these tattered flags until new ones arrived.
This is absolutely not correct. As a 24 year United States Army veteran, I would appreciate if you would form all your managers the proper way to maintain a flag and when and how to retire one.

Mozzarella Sticks shouldn't take 45 mins
For one the food I ordered took 45 mins to make and also it took another 15 mins to get rung out I ordered food at approximately 10:35 and didn't receive my order til almost 11:20 on October 1st 2022 at your new location people were also waiting on drinks with the only person working the register making drinks, the girl working behind the food counter told me that there are 21 orders ahead of mine so you may want to think about hiring some more people for that location
Desired outcome: Extra training would be highly recommended, the people preparing the food looked completely confused and dazed

I would really like to know who is/was the brain behind the debit card software implementation that informs me that I can BYPASS or ENTER my pin on a debit card transaction at the pumps?
This appalls me that I would even consider bypassing my pin. I want to enter my pin so that there is no chance of fraud, it's actually me and not someone else. What if someone stole or has my debit card without my authorization? They could go to numerous locations, use the card, and clean out my account.
Let me be clear, it's not only Sheetz but numerous other businesses too. It's the software developer and sales team that push and market this to business entities who are at fault. I can't believe that while testing this software for use by your consumers that absolutely no one caught this as a red flag.
Sheetz really need to revisit this and think hard about eliminating this issue.

Sheetz in Williamsport MD, my daughter and I made our 415am donut run, no donuts in case at all. Cashiers name was Adel. Had a small line behind us, I said why aren't there any donuts they are on the bottom of my totes, and I have to stop every 23 seconds to wait on people, heard her say to other employees that her other cashier was outside catching a white mouse. She never greeted us, never asked for my Sheetz card,or said Thank you. I visit this everyday, This was Definitely the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER RECEIVED.

Made-To-Order Food
I ordered mto food tonight at the sheetz location of 1012 university avenue Morgantown, WV 26505. I ordered both a quesadilla and a burrito and both were made so sloppily that they couldn’t be picked up. The burrito was not even the shape of a burrito. It was folded to be half the size and completely cracked down the middle. The quesadilla was also made super sloppy and incorrect. It shows complete carelessness of the staff at sheetz. I’ve been a customer for 4 years now and I have never had my mto come out looking and tasting like this. This is really ridiculous and makes me never wanna spend any more of my money at sheetz. I feel completely scammed and disappointed.

Staffing
I work at store 00570 and the staffing issue is absolutely horrendous. We have a total of 10 employees. 1 Store manager. 2 assistants. 4 supervisors. And 4 EE. To stretch out over three shifts.
1st gets 3, *maybe* 4 if another store is willing to send us someone.
2nd gets 2.
3rd gets 2.
Which is horrible, because 3rd gets around 250-300 orders per night, and all shifts have to deal with being yelled at, harassed, threatened with weapons, food thrown at us, bathrooms being deliberately trashed (I personally have been elbow deep in a toilet in the mens room, that had an intact roll of toilet paper wedged into the drain, then they [censored], then emptied another roll on top. So yes, I was elbow deep in literal human feces), people randomly walking into the kitchen to get their ketchup “because we were taking too long.” The list goes on and on and on.
We work an average of 10 hour shifts for 6 days in a row, then have a day off. Most of us are working 15 hour or more shifts. Simply because we don’t have anyone else.
We’ve gotten 4 new security guards for 3rd, but no new employees.
So I’ve done some thinking for you and can provide you some solutions.
First, raise the pay. EEs are worth $18. SPVs $21. HM/KM > $28.
Next, get rid of the application questionnaire and start pulling people off the street. Your trick questions and wrong answer no tolerance with it is ruining us. I’ll happily work with a crack head if it means that I can see my boyfriend at least once a month (we live together but I work so much we literally do not see each other unless I request a weekend off one month in advance and I’m not allowed to do that anymore), and see my dog more than 15 minutes each week.
We are burned out, exhausted, and treated as sub-human by customers. Each employee deserves at MINIMUM one weekend per month without having to request it off.
The minimum amount of people per shift should be 8. 3 on sales, 4 in kitchen, and one of the assistants, plus the store manager (who gets every weekend off regardless of staffing which is messed up). That means you need, at minimum, a total of 25 people on staff at any given time to run your stores smoothly and keep from burning your employees out.
Most people I know that are working at Sheetz are looking for other jobs.
Please consider lowering your standards for employment and just start giving us bodies. We don’t care who. Just staff us. Because right now it’s hell.

MTO Food
After a cross country meet at Big Springs, my husband and I stopped in the Sheetz for a snack to tide us over until dinner time. I waited over half an hour for a bucket of curly fries. When I finally received them and took them out to the car to share with my husband, I opened the bag and there was what looked like an 8 ounce cup full of about seven or eight fries. It was over 5 dollars and a 35 minute wait for this! This was not a bucket! I was really upset, but didn’t want to wait in a long line again. I always liked Sheetz, but now I’m reluctant to order MTO again.

Today was the first day that I've actually bought a sandwich off of one of your gas stations I went in there later in the afternoon I can't eat meat right now not only thing I wanted was an egg 12-inch sandwich with mayonnaise onions pepper cheese black pepper and mayonnaise when you go to Subway you get a 6 inch sub there you get two eggs on it and whatever else you want that's for $4 today I went into your store I got a 12 inch sub with two eggs on it one on each 6-in piece with onions on it and pepper and they didn't even put the mayonnaise on it everybody's in a hurry the girl was making my sandwich was on her cell phone the cell phone is one of the dirtiest things that a person has on them

I was at your store in Fairmont WV on Sunday morning and purchased some candy a coffee and some cigarettes. When I got home I was short 2 packs of cigarettes. I was told to call back on Monday, I had a procedure imaging so I could call till Tuesday. I called spoke to Liz-said she would look at the tapes. You see Sheetz makes you ASK for a receipt. I didn't. I got the rude run around " you're out of luck". I don't appreciate it I have spent a pretty penny there in many items. Not anymore

Today, 9/19 about 10:00 am, I was at store #161 in Frederick MD. I got gas and went inside to get a snack. I got a fruit bowl and when walking through the line to make my purchase, pumpkin donut holes caught my eye. I love pumpkin! I grabbed one of the cups and ate two before leaving the parking lot. One was good and the other was hard to chew. I didn’t think much of it. At noon I had to rush to the bathroom and had bad #2. When I got home at 2 pm, I ate my third one….this one made me nauseous immediately. As I was throwing the rest away I noticed the expiration of 9/17! Please have your employees take better notice of expired food. And I will also check dates before I purchase from now on.

My friend and I ordered two app samplers and an order of pot stickers at 1:07am. Everyone who ordered after us got their food, so we asked the manager when our food was going to be ready, keep in mine this is 20mins later. “He” or whatever it is says it should be up soon. 20 mins later, more people come in and leave with their food 20 mins later. We ask multiple workers when our food will be ready they just laugh at us. It took 50 minutes for 2 app samplers and a side. An actual disgrace. Never go to to the sheetz on wayne ave with no gas station!

Todays 9/11/22 I go to sheets pretty close to daily ... or every other day in dubois pa, on brady street... and my stomach still hurts from throwing up after just ordering and eating food that had maggots and not knowing right away . 🥺😭🤮 I can't even believe this happened . Advertising gas and charging a different price
On Sept.10 2022 I stopped at Sheetz in Oakland, MD. The large sign displayed 3.95 for regular 87 gas. All the pumps displayed the price of 3.99. The cashier stated that this has been going on and they can't do anything to change it. This is clearly a bait and switch operation. I intend to contact the Comptroller of MD to file a grievance on the matter. Clearly thus is illegal and needs addressed immediately.
