Beauty rest Black
We bought a Simmons Beautyrest Black about 4 months ago bc we loved the previous Beautyrest we had for the previous decade+ so much. We had to return the first one immediately because it came with a dip in it (from someone already having slept in it). Our next one had no dip… for about 3-5 days. Now there is a dip on each left and right side/ a lump in the middle of the king sized bed. This bed is terrible and we are stuck with a $5k bed. I’m a teacher and my husband is an electrician… this was an incredibly expensive purchase. I would NEVER get this type of bed again. I am in pain every morning. What a horrific waste.
Desired outcome: Nothing. I just need the company to know. DO BETTER! It’s too expensive to be terrible.
Simmon Beautyrest Black K Class Ultimate Plush Pillow Top Matt -50
I purchase the Simmons Beautyrest Black K Class Ultimate Plush Pillow Top Queen Mattress and received delivery on March 9, 2021. I was informed by US Mattress (Novi, MI) to turn the mattress every 6 months. While turning the mattress on March 26, 2022 I notice that the mattress has come apart. Not to mention the dip in the middle. US Mattress sent some one out on April 23, 2022, almost a month later to examine the mattress. They sent an older guy that could barely balance himself. I was afraid he would fall down in my home and hurt himself. I called US Mattress today and was informed that they would not be covering the mattress malfunction. This is a mattress that cost over $4,000, this is the 3rd Beautyrest mattress that I've had malfunction on me. I thought if I bought a better quality mattress I would not have this problem. No one wants to take stand by the quality of this mattress and provide me with a solution to this problem. This is unacceptable, and I caution anyone to buying this garbage they are making and selling for large amounts of money. I will take them to court for this, if we can't have this issued resolved.
Desired outcome: New mattress, refund my money back to purchase another one, and them to sell better quality mattresses.
I purchased this item last years 2/21/2021 and it was delivered 3/9/2021. I called them on 3/26/2022 to let them know that the seam of the mattress has bust and needs to be replaced/fixed. This mattress cost over $4,000 only had it a year, and the thread has come loose. It's still under warranty and a month later they send out someone from Premier to take a look at it. The guy was an older man that could barely balance himself. I was afraid he was going to fall in my house or outside. After waiting for over a week I contacted them to find out what they were going to do and was informed that it was denied repair or replacement. No valid excuse as to why, just that they don't cover the thread coming loose. I asked to speak with a Manager and as of today no one has returned my called and I'm stuck with a busted $4,000 mattress. This is definitely taking advantage of the consumer and not honoring their warranty. I will pursue this matter legally if I don't get a resolution to this issue asap. This company is too lazy to honor their warranty, which they will be reimbursed from the manufacturer.. Where is the customer service in that.. this mattress is still under warranty.

I purchased a Simmons black beauty rest mattress. Thinking it was the perfect soft mattress. As it’s supposed to be comfort top. I complained a few years ago no-one has helped as they are doing now. The bed makes me very itchy from the get go. Probably due to chemicals used in manufacturing of bed. The bed is sagging more than 3 inches in depth. Very uncomfortable and debilitating for my back I am falling off. I weigh 135 lbs I only use. It I supported by very cheap box springs which come with the bed. Now I have back problems. I have sent so many emails w all info required to process exchange this has been a very poor and unprofessional experience to say the least. These emails have been requested over and over again by their reps. At least fulfil the warranty. It’s 10 years. I started to complain 4 years ago. Nothing has transpired. They want you to get so fed up and ignore situation which I did I stated to complain in 2021 as I did 4 years ago. They have an obligation to customer. On 2/27/2017 My husband and I purchased a mattress set part #[protected], Katerina X-Full, universal 3 low profile. The tag on the mattress reads BEAUTYREST ULTRA COLLECTION KATERINA RECHARGE.
According to the paperwork there would be "nesting" period. Which has come and gone. BUT I want you to know this mattress is a joke.
When I sit on the edge it completes flattened. I can feel the springs or whatever is inside. You can literally see where we lay. The mattress does spring back. Considering the $726.00 we paid I thought it would last longer than 2-1/2 years.
It is, in my opinion a poor performing product.
We will NOT return to Denver Mattress to purchase the next set.

Not even 2 years old and there are indents in the mattress
We have purchased this mattress back in 2016 and had no problems until recently. On April 2018 we submitted a claim complaining about the grooves in the bed. It was denied as the indents didn't meet the requirements.
It is now September and my husband no longer sleeps in the king size bed that we had purchase as its too uncomfortable for him as he sinks into the mattress. I have rotated the mattress as much as I possibly can however, the indents are all over the mattress. I find it ridiculous that we spent so much money on a mattress in which Simmons claims "a good morning starts with a great night sleep" when my husband prefers his college mattress over a 1.5-year-old mattress.
The sales individual who helped us reassured us that this was a great mattress and that Simmons is a rewarding company, and yet as a consumer I am not happy and feel like she was trying to make your quota rather than care about her customers wellbeing. Doesn't that go against The Bricks Philosophy?
This mattress has a 10-year warranty on it, and it hasn't even been 2 years and I am already fed up with it. This issue needs to be handled now not when it reaches your unrealistic measurement of 1.2 inches.
I was in contact with Erik Sonstenes back in August 19, 2018. I have yet to hear back from him and he hasn't returned my e-mails. I need a new mattress, this is ridiculous.

Beautyrest recharge world class king size
3 years ago I was in a near fatal accident that left me with serious pain and hip and pelvis problems. I needed a new mattress and I looked in a lot of mattress stores. I was looking for a mattress similar to one I had slept on in a hotel once. We ended up in sleep country in lethbridge alberta and the sales clerk... Who was very pushy... Highly recommended the mattress which I have listed in the product area of this complaint. This mattress started sagging and springs collapsed after only a year. It was useless to try to get a warranty replacement or refund from the store we bought it from, as once you walk out the door with the mattress... They want nothing more to do with you. I am also not holding my breath that you will care enough to help us out. What I do want to say though is that we financed this mattress... We are still paying on it... And it's a big heavy piece of [censor]! I am back to getting no restful sleep, my husband is waking up every morning with back and shoulder pain, and when we try to turn the mattress... It mushrooms over on the side that is not against the wall and walks away from the wall by 4-5 inches every night. I will never buy or recommend one of your mattresses again. And while I am only one insignificant person whom I am sure you don't give a [censor] about... I am sure that for the remainder of my years I can talk a few hundred people out of buying your products. Way to take advantage of the little guy... A [censor] $3000 dollar mattress is junk! You should be ashamed of yourselves. Personally I am disgusted.
Couch
I purchased a couch through my job, and the brand is Simmons. I haven't even had it a year the cushions are wore down and the boards are cracking and popping pretty bad. It's not due to wear and tear. I live alone and have no children or pets. What do I do to get this fixed? Or who do I contact? I paid alot for this and in a year time it's ready to throw out. Very dissatisfied.
Simmons mattress warranty replacement
Over a month ago Simmons Warranty Dept sent a man to our home to see if our mattress qualified for a replacement. He took pics, measurements, purchase info, etc and said he thought it should qualify but the final decision will come from Simmons in 7-10 days. After several weeks of no contact, I contacted (multiple times) them. They said they will replace it but they need a pic of my receipt. I emailed it within a few minutes, as requested. They have all necessary documentation as requested.
Since then, I have called multiple times only to be rerouted, disconnected, told I should call back later and even have someone try to force a promotional gift card on me before they would transfer me! On my last call of frustration, June 14 at 12:53, I was assured the warranty manager named Jenean Rider would call me back that day. Today is
Friday June, 16 at 3:45 and I have not received a call. Claim #647589. I have spoken with people namedJoy and Jamel but was told Jamel no longer worked there.
Comforpedic mystere mattress
We bought one of the earliest versions of the Comforpedic memory foam mattress, the Mystere model, king size, manufactured by IR Specialty Foam LLC in High Point NC in September 2007. The mattress served us well for eight years until the bottom literally fell out. In year 9 the mattress developed two large depressions (wife and myself) despite regular turning (not flipping) of the mattress. Both depressions were such that the memory foam failed to rebound and the mattress had lost its inner support.
Simmons customer service merely went through the motions before dismissing our claim out of hand. Mattress had a full 10 year replacement warranty, and an additional 10 year limited warranty. Forget that. I wrote a long summary and included 20 photographs of the mattress, foundation and bed frame. Simmons rejected the claim. BTW this mattress was $3, 700 in 2007. I'm not surprised Simmons killed the Comforpedic line in 2015.
Leather recliner
I purchased 2 leather recliners 14 months ago and the foot rest will not go down on the one recliner. When it was flipped over we noticed there is a rod that is broke off from a plastic piece. The 2nd recliner is hard to put foot rest down and I am afraid it will break. These recliners have barely been used and I am not able to contact Simmons to have chairs repaired or replaced. I would think they would last more than 14 months.

My Husband bought this living room suit back in December2014, the week of Christmas. The first week of January the left side of the recliner on the console love seat broke. We returned the love seat to the store and it was replaced with a new one, not even 3 days later the same (left) side of the recliner broke again and now the right side of the recliner is breaking at the back and the foot stool. Not to jinx myself, but the couch seems to be holding up pretty well. I did not realize that this furniture was not made by simmons until today when I went to file a complaint and seen that it was made by this United Furniture Industries. All I can say is this place makes poor furniture and should be ashamed of themselves for selling such crap! I am paying $1500 for a crap piece of a living room suit that will probably not even make it the rest of this year!
Bad mattress
I purchased a simmons beautyrest mattress it was defective, they replaced it also defective, they then replaced it witha different model which was a firm mattress which was not what my original mattress was. I contacted them they said comfort was not anissue for a refund or replacement, really. The mmattress I initially purchased was 1000.00 the one they replaced it with was cheaper in price. Very frustrated with this company thought they were top of the line boy was I wrong, customer service non existent.

Our health destroyed - sears doesn't care
After a series of TempurPedic mattresses, all turning into canoes within a year, we decided to buy a "regular" bed. We went to Sears and purchased their best Beautyrest Black pillowtop mattress. We were attracted by the comfort warranty. The mattress was comfortable, but after 6 months my husband was once again in a canoe. We jumped through the many hoops for the warranty and it was approved - not only is the dip 1.5" you can see it with your naked eye - the entire side of the bed is indented. Now afraid, wanting to get whatever will not canoe I started researching - if only I had done this in February! I learned that ALL mattresses canoe - it is the nature of the foam. I also learned that all mattresses are filled with pounds of cancer causing fire ###ant chemicals. I called very major manufacturer to ask them if they would give me a chemical free mattress with a doctor's prescription as the law allows, NONE of them will do this. I looked at Sears for an air mattress but they don't sell that. It seems senseless to keep buying the same uncomfortable mattresses that are also a risk to our health. We have asked for a Sears store credit but they refuse. Why would a store insist that we be unhappy, sick and sleepless? Why? My husband has been having chest pain and shortness of breath on the mattress - underwent a full cardiac workup but his heart is fine. My daughter had a thyroid tumor requiring removal of half of her thyroid - and now we know both may be related to our mattress and Sears refuses to help us. Actually - one agent said no problem, he would give me our money back when they picked up the mattress. But when I called for a pick-up the woman not only said no that was not possible, she accused me of not really talking to anyone there. It has been a complete fiasco from a store we have shopped at our entire life - buyer beware! Instead buy a chemical free latex mattress - they do not canoe, do not have to be full of chemicals. Defective mattress
We purchased a Simmons Beauty rest mattress nearly four months ago from Gardner White store in Auburn Hills. The mattress began to sink within a couple of weeks. The technician was sent out this past week who agrees there is a problem. Customer service informed me that they no longer carry the mattress but I can choose another of equal value. The problem begins with me not wanting another Simmons and them not allowing me to choose another manufacturer, though they will get their money or credit from Simmons. They will only allow us to choose another Simmons, no money back. Yes, they were rude about it. My first and last experience with this company!
Defective mattress
My husband and I went into the Mattress Warehouse located at Central Park in Dec. 2011, we purchased a Serta Icomfort Revolution mattress and a twin mattress for our day bed. During the purchase of our Serta Icomfort we were told that we had a money back guarantee and if it was not the right mattress for us we could come back and either re select or get a refund. .
Upon bringing the mattress up to our bedroom they literally folded the mattress in half and this led to it due to the nature of the foam and gel, started to get extremely lumpy and could not be slept on. We contacted Mattress Warehouse and were told that we had to keep it for thirty days and then we could come back in.
We did finally go back in and this time because it was closer to our home we ended up at the Cosner's Corner store and spoke with the then manager Derrick.
During our conversation with Derrick he recommended the Simmons Apex NXG mattress. We expected that he knew what he was talking about and took his recommendation.
When the mattress was delivered to our home the delivery company had a difficult time with it due to the particulars of the staircase in our home. While trying to bring the Simmons mattress up to our bedroom they broke a ceiling fan and a window blind in the process. Once the mattress was in our bedroom I went up to check on things and found that they had broken the ceiling fan above our bed. What really blew my mind was that they proceeded to lie about it and when I stated I was going to call Mattress Warehouse they tried to stop me from doing that. I called my husband up to the room a and they proceeded to converse in spanish about what to do so we would not understand. Unfortunately taking conversational spanish in h.s. and college I understood it all. Then they would not leave my home after causing so much damage to it. We then were contacted by the delivery company and they agreed to pay $200.00 which I guess was the payable price for destroying a ceiling fan and window shade.
Once we began to sleep on the Simmons mattress every morning was an extreme effort to get up without extreme pain. We had originally told been told by Derrick that if this mattress did not work for us it could come back for a refund or exchange. When we went back into the Cosners Corner store we spoke with Derrick and Christian who was now the manager at this store and were told they had known of problems with this mattress before. We were then told that nothing had ever been said about this mattress coming back for a refund (it does state that there are no refunds, but we were told that like our Serta mattress it could come back). We have since learned from speaking to a Simmons representative that there indeed is a comfort guarantee with this product although it was never offered to us.
Needless we were made to go through a warrranty process and every minute we had to spend on this bed was sheer agony for myself and my husband who had spent five, months in a halo vest due to a severe fracture of his cervical spine which could have left him paralyzed from the neck down.Once we promptly submitteed the required paperwork for the warranty claim back to mattress warehouse it was at least another two weeks, before they had a company called Mattress Marshals come out to inspect and indeed verify there was a problem with our mattress (which of course they found out there was). I believe I was calling quite frequently to check status as every night spent on that mattress was extreme agony for my husband and started to require frequent assistance from the doctor, chiropractor etc... . I really do not believer that they cared one bit and I believe that we were made to wait because we were perceived to have caused trouble.
We did finally receive our answer and much to my surprise we were given an amount of appr. $1941.00 and change for our mattress to go in and select a new one. Never, mind the fact that we had not even had it for little more than a month when we contacted them with the problem. I have also since contacted Simmons and other bedding stores and no one seems to know why this happened.
My husband and I did not know what we were going to do and we felt completely ripped off. Fortunately for us by a chance we ended up contacting Sleepys mattress store and were given a potential solution to our problem.
We were offered an option of buying a new mattress from them and they would take our old one and give us an amount that we could put towards the new one.
It seems almost ridiculous that a different mattress store would give us more back than the store that we purchased it from.
We have also contacted Simmons to see if they could help us and were told that unless we wanted to have the exact same mattress once again or buy another mattress from Mattress Warehouse they could not help us in any way.
FInally after realizing that neither the mattress manufacturer nor the store and its company were going to help or do what was right, we gave and finally stopped allowing ourselves to be tortured both physically and emotionally and took the Sleepys offer and purchased our tempurpedic mattress. Unfortunately due to all facts here we lost almost $600.00 in our sale that we now know will never be returned to us in anyway.
