Sinspeed Taken my money and part, now won’t reply to emails and phone calls

I’ve send them a Ferrari 360 module to repair, it’s been over 2 months when they say 5 day turn around. Then they emailed me saying it’s fixed I payed them, then they haven’t provided shipping and I’ve asked multiple times and received 1 reply about looking into it, now I’m not getting a response.

First sent the item on 21/09/22 they received it around 8/10/22 3 emails sent saying they are working on it and it’s taking longer then it should, on the 3/11/22 they said it’s fixed and awaiting payment, I paid it straight away, sent an email on the 9/11/22 asking for the tracking no reply, sent another email on the 14/11/22 I got a reply saying they received payment and will look into this and get back to me, I sent another email on the 17/11/22 and the 18/11/22 no reply and they won’t answer the phone.

I can provide more photos if I get emailed as I can only upload 1

Desired outcome: My money and part back

Sinspeed SBC remanufactured

I'm giving 1 star as no stars and minus stars are not an option on here though they really should be. Quite staggeringly the most incompetent outfit it has ever been my misfortune to come across.

1) I fill in the quote form for a re-manufactured SBC for my SL on the advice of the garage.
2) I call to see why no response - they tell me I need to give fault codes which I then get from the garage and resend to Sinspeed.
3) I call up to follow up to be told I need to call a different dept the following day.
4) I call the following day -they have no record of my enquiry or ever having spoken to me but tell me to fill in the form on the website.
5) I finally get an email response from someone who says their server went down for 8 days and they have lost all data - please can I send details again.
6) They respond eventually to say that the part can be re-manufactured.
7) My garage fills out the warranty form with my warranty company, gets the £400 authorised and sends the part down to Sinspeed.
8) After 5 days Sinspeed email to say that they can't fix the part after all but could order a new one from Bosch for £875+VAT (by which they actually meant £932+VAT including P&P as it turned out).
9) I go back to the Warranty company who tell me to sue my garage and sinspeed but ultimately issue a new authorisation for the new part when I speak to their MD.
10) I tell Sinspeed I'd like to order the new part and that they need to invoice my garage as Warranty Wise are paying.
11) Sinspeed email to say cash upfront the give me a number where I am supposed to make payment for £932+VAT then call them back and they will order the part. I refuse to to do this and ask them to send my part back as this is part of the deal with Mercedes Chesterfield to get a new one.
12) I email clear concise details for return Mechanics name and the Garage address, that's it.
13) They direct me to a number to make a payment for the courier and leave a fairly impolite message on my phone saying 'call this number as we need to take a payment to courier the part.
14) They then waive the fee and give me a tracking number for the courier.
15) I check the tracker and the part was delivered this morning - signed for by Dawes, this coincides with an email to all staff from my company from my receptionist (surname Dawes) to say a parcel has arrived, addressed to no one so we've opened it and it's car parts.

The ###s have sent it to my Sheffield office address which is in my email signature and not the garage address which was the only thing in the body of the email and which also happens to be 30 mins from my office, I have no car and i'm not due back in the office until monday. This is largely immaterial now since I haven't had my car for over 4 weeks due to these clowns.

These people haven't done one single thing right but more than that every single thing they have done they have screwed up beyond belief. They should either be lauded for employing care in the community persons or more likely just avoided like the plague.

Sinspeed ESP issue

I to along with the others above was taken in by the website, but failed to check them out. My VW Tourag had an ESP issue which was diagnosed by VW as needing a replacement module, their price was in excess of £700, but after talking with the infamous Jay on the phone I stupidly agreed to let them have the car, possibly the worst thing that I have ever done in relation to vehicle repairs, the nightmare was to unfold from here. Jay contacted me later in the day and started his bxxxxxxt, going on about codes and techie things which meant absolutely nothing to me or that I cared, I just wanted my car sorted, but he just went on and on trying to get me to agree to giving him cart blanch and run me up a massive invoice. the up-shot of this conversation was that he would "re calibrate the steering angle sensor"? this never featured in the diagnosis by VW, however I went along with him and agreed that he do it and if it did not rectify the issue I would just have the charge of £45, but if it did then the bill would £200, needless to say it did not resolve the issue. So now he (Jay) came up with the next move, which took him to the ESP module / unit and I agreed that he should investigate, adding the it would about 4 hours. At this point I was not at all convinced, after digesting what he had said and the manner he had delivered it (condescending patronising manner) I, along with my daughter, decided to leave the job we doing in Maidstone and go to the "HQ" of Sinspeed and retrieve my vehicle. I had never been to the premises and I was gob-smacked when I arrived, to describe it as a tip would be an under-statement. Car parts were strewn everywhere, wrecks of cars were outside on blocks, grease literally covered every inch of floor space, the so-called "technicians" were not at all clean in appearance. Then I met with Jay, he tried all the time to over-talk me and tried in vain to convince me that Sinspeed, he and the technician's were at all capable of resolving the issue and that what VW had said was "shxx". By now I am of the opinion that just changing a light bulb is beyond them, let alone resolving some technical issue with the vehicle. After talking with him for an hour, I had made my mind up that the vehicle was not to stay, so it was agreed that he remove the "hammer" and toolbox from the top of the engine compartment and put everything back to as it was. Unfortunately this could not be done as it was now around 18:00hrs, so I insisted that I wanted the vehicle ready to be moved by noon the next day. Sure enough the vehicle was ready upon our arrival, but the feelings were strained to say the least. I went into the workshop and started to inspect the vehicle when Jay lent out of his office window and ordered me out of the workshop, I will not go into what happened next but we eventually got away. I too have never written a complaint about anyone before, but feelings are so high that I have felt compelled to write this in order to warn others NOT to fall prey to this crook. Sinspeed website states that they have some 50+ dealers throughout the UK and Ireland, I have tried to make contact with just one of those without success, he has NO DEALERS, he is a "FAKE"

Recently, I had the DPF on my Peugeot 207 removed by Sinspeed Ltd at their facility in SE7 7SX, Charlton, London. I selected Sinspeed Ltd after I had done a search on the internet about firms which carry out this job and from the write-up on their website, they “appeared” to do a professional job and even guaranteed their work. To be honest, I just believed...

Sinspeed Faulty ABS dignosis

My Garage diagnose a faulty ABS module with No Communication. I search the internet and find several companies specialising in the repair of this specific ABS module, Sinspeed have an extensive write up. Unit is sent registered post. I chase 2 days later to get confirmation it has arrived. 1 week later I am chasing and told it was missing, several days later I phone again and its found. several days later I chase again and told no fault found. I pay £75 examination fee and told it will be couriered that day. Several days later I chase and told the label had fallen off and got lost. 2 days later I receive it back. Note all calls were on 0871 and involved extensive holding. The garage install and same problem. I authorise a new ABS and it works fine.

This company takes in faulty units with a promise of being able to fix anything and gives you a reasonable repair time and reasonable ball park repair quote.

As a customer you feel like you have hit jackpot, until the 2 days later when you have still heard nothing and then you need to chase to find out it has arrived and awaiting repair. So your nerves subside and you think they must just be busy...

3 more days go by and already your at the maximum time Jay tells you it will take to repair and have back in your car. So you phone, to be told that the engineer needs more information of what the problem is so he can diagnose the faults properly and do thorough testing. You obviously tell them that you have told them everything you know, but this gives them the rest of the day if not a further day to delay the bad news.

D-Day comes and Jay has the bad news that you part is not able to be repaired. This is where they become creative and use words such as relays, capacitors, plating, etc etc. so you feel out of your depth. But amongst all the disappointment you were not aware of what was coming next. There is an investigation fee that has to be paid regardless! and this amount can be anything from £50+

Quite often people get their part back 'untouched', some never receive them as faulty parts have a value to true repair companies and they tell you its lost in the post. You might just need to cross your fingers and hope that if they have your item they will give it back to you and hopefully not at too much cost.

The best way to deal with this company is not to use them, this is basically a scam to charge people for work that is not carried out.

I understand watchdog is currently watching the complaints rise :-)

Don't touch them ! I ordered an expensive product from them which is advertise on their website as an original OEM. What I received was a cheap unbranded probably Chinese cheap copy part.

When I pulled them up on this the owner wouldn't take my call and was always conveniently not there.

Promised refunds and calls back but guess what, they never happened. I returned the product at my expense then didn't receive refund. Lots of chasing ensued and I eventually got my refund only after I visited them. Failing that it would have taken several weeks going through the credit card protection scheme.

It's an untidy and messy lock up garage, not a professional garage which the website gives you the impression of them being.

I wish I did some research on them first. But let me be clear, my message to you is this "SAVE YOUR SELF A LOT OF HEADACHE AND LOOK ELSE WHERE!" These fella's are cowboys, there no other word for it. Remember Pay peanuts, get monkeys! These guys are the monkeys!

You have been warned! Walk away! DON'T TOUCH THEM!
