water park
Dear Sir/Madam,
I went with my family to six flags gurnee we rode 40 miles to get there when we went to water park there people life gaurd said one of us can't have ride in water ride becasue I don't have bathing suit even I was in my shorts.
I could not have ride with my family my complaint is this six flags should have mention in there advertisment if some one want to go to water park must make sure to bring their swming trunks with them otherwise they would not allowed to get the rides or print on ticket.
It was really unpleasant for me and for my family and we left the park altogather, I seen few other families faced same problem.
It should not have had happened like that we spent money to have fun not to listen that we can't have rid?

charging $1.00 per ride
Recently, and this is the second time, I have been really bothered by the fact that I am required to pay an extra dollar per ride at Discovery Kingdom. I believe this is a particularly discriminatory practice against woman who will indeed be carrying a small bag of sorts with personal items such as a season pass for her family members, as well as hygienic items. I made very sure that the small back that was firmly attached to my body would not be loose or be able to fall off my body or empty in any kind of situation. The bag that I carried was not large enough to prevent any ride from safely being secured against my body. I understand that times are hard and making as much money as possible is important to every business, but I paid $12.99 for a reusable cup (that by the way I was told was dishwasher safe, but melted in my dishwasher) and paid an enormous amount of money on food and souvenirs, now I have to pay another dollar for each ride? Well, that isn’t the case is it, some rides you can leave your bag on the side for free. Why the punishment to women, who I am sure are the largest purchasers of Season Passes? I have spoken with several woman and they are very upset by this practice.

I went to Six Flags Discovery Kingdom back in 2013 and I didn't have any problems. I went with my wife and my son, as well as with another family who drove us. We all enjoyed our time there.
recently on dec 9 2012 my family went to six flags in vallejo for holiday in the park. we r season pass holders. well i cant believe how rude all the workers were. it was not one or two it was the majority of them. they were rude gave attitude. if they dont like their job they should find another. its suppose to b a family place where u can enjoy time with your love ones. we were gonna get season passes again but know considering not to.this complaint probably wont get seen or will get passed by but i really hope they get their skills together
The point is the parks need to stop ripping people off. If I can't wear my fanny pack on a ride without paying extra, I need to be told that before entering the park. If I'm going to pay way too much for a refillable cup the person selling it to me needs to tell me I will need to pay more everytime I need to store it to ride a ride! I spent more on the cup and storing it than I ever would have on drinks. Six Flags has gotten way too greedy, so much so that if people want to pay more they can break in line, those of us who have large families or live on a budget are paying hard earned money to wait in line longer. If Six Flags wants to cater to the wealthy then that is their choice to make. Just know there are far more middle to lower income Americans than there are wealthy. I for one hope if Six Flags doesn't change it's greedy policies then bankruptcy is their future. At least that may send a message to the other theme parks.
security
I'm complaining about the Six flags in San Antonio, because at the Bamboozle Roadshow which was last night, their security maced loads of fans in the face, the fans were about 15 years old. All Time Low and Boys Like Girls lead singers Alex Gaskarth and Martin Johnson, were sticking up for there fans because they were getting hurt. They were defending them, and because of that Six Flags have told them they cannot play tonight. But now Six flags are telling the fans that All Time Low cancelled, but they didn't cancel they were banned from playing. I don't see why the security at six flags needed mace in the first place, and used it on 15 year old fans.

beware
Bought tickets online - apparently for the wrong Six Flags. After arriving at the Vallejo location I had to buy correct tickets and also purchased their season pass. On returning home I phoned them with the order number and our season pass info so they'd know we paid to be in two places at once. They won't even return my phone call! They don't care about ripping off individuals - they apparently have enough customers.

stole purse
We went to six flags over ga today august 29, 2009 for my daughters birthday and was waved into a parking lot across the street from the main entrance and paid twenty dollars Lanier Parking lot a NAME you need to remember. We came back to our car to find the back window busted it out and my purse gone the only thing took. Personal things you cannot replace and nothing is going to be done about it. There were six more cars told to park in the back when the front of the parking area was still empty I believe the employees are in on the scam. Six flags says thats not their parking lot and wont do a thing. This parking lot not being monitored but by their employees to knock your windows out when not looking. They stood in the middle of the rd to wave you in. I will never be back and everyone my family and i know will tell them about LANIER PARKING LOTS AND SIX FLAGS.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
Those are not Six Flags employees waving you into that lot. I worked security there all this season and was posted up the street and would wave at people to come down past the Lanier lot to our surveillance camera/patrol car monitored parking lots. Irregardless of whatever I tried people still park there and some would get angry when I would tell them that isn't Six Flags property.
Actually this happened to a friend of mine as well. A six flags employee waved them to the lenier parking, saying since they had come late and their parking lot was full they had to park there. They came back after four hours to find a window busted in and cds, a gps, and change stolen. Six flags claims they would never tell someone to park there since they have plenty of parking themselves for there maximum occupency.
six flags park rip off
I just returned from six flags in NJ. (07/2009) I will never go there again. I am requesting a refund. ( Which no one Can Get I found out ) My family had the worst experience at this park. People were cutting lines with no way to stop them. This happened on almost every ride. A lot of rides were closed. There is no visible management overseeing the running of the park. One of the gates to a ride nearly crushed my son’s hand as it slammed shut. They promote that you can bring your own food and eat it in a picnic area, however there are only 6 tables in this area to accommodate thousands of guests. We had to eat on the rock covered ground making a sandwich in our hands. The park is so poorly run and has a bad element running through the park with no visible security to go to if needed. The people ( teens ) running the rides seemed to want to keep it going fast that safety was sacrificed. We did not feel safe at all. We had a horrible time and left so mad. My son is 12 years old and he wanted to leave the park early. There is nothing like waiting an hour and a half on line to be cut again and again. Also, they are checking for weapons coming into the park, but when you get a stamp and re-enter they do not check. Makes no sense to us. Water was almost 4 dollars a bottle. Food prices were so high as well. They charge almost the same price for fast pass as a regular ticket. Fast pass is nothing like Disney ( free at Disney ). You have to pay extra for some rides. They are having money issues and we the patrons are paying for it. Shame on you six flags it was really a no flags day for us.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
Why not charge $25 for parking after $40 tickets and $50 food items and exotic water. People need to boycott this place and stop being patrons there.
The go carts should allow people that have a license to drive the go carts too! Height requirement should not only be required because it only offends people with a license that are 57 1/2 inches tall..!
you had to make a sandwich with your hands?! say its not so! what the hell else are you going to make sandwiches with? your elbows?
I completely agree with you... this place is disgrace. $4 for water bottle, 1 pizza slice $7.50. or 1 pizza pie over $30. They are crooks and doing highway robbery. and no one is there to stop them.. only thing you could do stop going there... After all these money they are charging, how is possible they are filling for chapter 11 bankruptcy... unbelievable... This is last time we visited these thief park not theme park...
" The people ( teens ) running the rides seemed to want to keep it going fast that safety was sacrificed. We did not feel safe at all. " Did you ride on the rides anyway? Why didn't you just goto the manager of the park IMMEDIATELY when you first noticed that your entertainment was poor? Sounds like your just ranting and raving about something you should not even had continued doing to begin with? Wth?
deceptive pricing practices
It is not surprise Six Flags has filed bankruptcy. They have adopted the model of airline companies where they treat their customers poorly and develop deceptive practices to attract customers.
Six Flags Over Georgia promotes everyone pays kids price. What they fail to tell you is that the ticket needs to be purchased on the web. There is no mention of this on the web. When you arrive to purchase a ticket, the price is different. For example, my daughter paid $40.00 for an entrance fee when the advertised fee is $29.99. If Six Flags thinks hard working class people like me will look past this, they are mistaken. I can assure you as a Georgia resident; this was the last visit to their park. I would strongly encourage people to avoid this park. They deserve the financial difficulties encountered due to their business practices.

i was at your park in georgia today with my 6 year old son. we got there 1015 and left at about 230 so my son could get his water clothes from the car. we returned thru the re-entry line and i was told i could not enter because of my socks. when i asked why i was told that i should have read your policy befor hand so i then asked to speak to a manager. i was immediatly greeted by a front gate supervisor who told me the same thing and showed me a paper with the guidelines which i honestly still didnt see any which would apply. so i then asked if i could roll my socks down into my shoe i was told no again so i then said i would like my money back then i was again told no. i started to get very frusterated at this point and more security started coming up to me and my son. i then asked my son out loud did he think my socks were offensive now this is a 6 year old boy he replied no. i then said i know somewhere here sells socks i will simply buy some socks they directed and followed me as if i was a criminal or something thus making me very uncomfortable and unhappy. i get in the store and finally find some batman socks and befor i could go to the check out counter here comes a cobb county police officer. he said the problem between you and six flags is between them and you but i can detain you for disorderly conduct. i laughed in sarcasm at the officer which he did not seem to like and asked him and the security was it that serious. the officer replied yes and i said look at the look on my son face i hope you remember him and his face of being unhappy n confused of why his dad had to go thru all this simply just trying to take him back in the park to the water park. i am very unhappy with this whole experience i am not from georgia and have traveled from maryland to come to your park and to see family and i have to leave my son with a memory like this :(
my experience at six flags over Georgia was terrible they confiscated our season passes for no real reason . I believe they didn't activate them and when we tried to use them something went wrong, at first we had gold season passes and then we added white water to them and the first day we tried to use them they took them, and now they want us to pay
it again if we want them back they are thieves that just want to get easy money six flags was my favorite park but now i hate them and i don't recommend them.
In addition to the deception ads, I just found out that If you lose your season pass at Six Flags Over Georgia and someone else finds it and attempts to use your card, they confiscate it...guess what happens next? When you find that the pass is missing and go to will call to have another one issued, they tell you because it was confiscated because someone tried to use it, you have to pay the full price for another season pass. I thought this to be outrageous and have contacted consumer affairs.
For some reason companies like this just don't value the customer and I agree...for that reason they lose the customer and end up in bankruptcy.
racism against my 10yr old son
While on vacation during the month of august2008, my son was singled out of a bunch of kids while online at the eltoro ride, after waiting 2and a half hours to ride and was told he jumped the line and was sent out without riding. On line with him were five otheryouths, all of which were white. My son being the only black kid with them was sent back by himself. Now im a white man and my wife (His mom) is puertorican, ya see my son is adopted. We went to the guy giving out the tickets and explained what happened to my son, the guy called security 2 times, they never showed up. We were told to go to customer relations. We went and filed a written complaint. The agent at cust. Rel. Called security 3 times and we waited half hour before security finally showed up. The outcome was no results, just total coverup. 3 instant access passes for rides. Try explaining what just took place to your kid. Pretty sad for six flags. Yes what an adventure! We will never return...
My family also experienced racism at Six Flags New Jersey in July 2008. A security guard called my husband a "stupid monkey", to my sons face, over a misunderstanding on smoking stations in the park. It was extremely upsetting and humiliating. We were offered free passes be the head security guard, and told there would be an investigation, but nothing happened. We haven't been back and I'm still extremely hurt and angry after all this time. I don't understand why Governor Corzine doesn't intervene, this really is unacceptable.
Racism in New Jersey or any where in the world is really sad. I'm sorry that happened to a family trying to do business with the Amusement park and have fun. Racial or any form of discrimination can ruin your entire day (or years).
As a teenager I was in a department store. I began talking on the CB radio on the shelf. A young caucassion boy also began using another CB. He was cursing over the air and being very obnoxious. I was obeying all laws and correctly using the CB. The CB radios were all turned on for public use and evaluation.
Yet, the store clerk claim and ordered me off the CB radio. The clerk said nothing to the caucassion boy who was perverse and violating laws for CB use.
As an adult, I'm still experiencing racism and discrimination. I'm very committed to addressing racism in the areas that I live in.
long lines, broken rides, bad service
During my stay yesterday, there were only long lines (more than 1 hour) and longer lines on the most popular rides. The park was understaffed, rides were closed or stalled due to mechanical failure, and when I complained, I was told by Cody (badge #220) that this was the way it is. When I complained about Cody, the kind folks at Gueast Relations told me...
