Sleep number bed
Bought my sleep number bed in 2001. I have not moved ever and the last couple years I’ve been having respiratory problems when I was at home only sleeping in the bed. I did every thing to clean the room from top to bottom and bought air purifier but nothing helped. I was finally going to take everything out of my room yesterday because I was crawling out of my skin from being so sick. I decided to take the bed apart and that’s when I found the black mold. Called the company and had to send pictures to them. They agreed to do a one time replacement of only what had mold on them for free. Not sure if there are still spores in the cover of bed. Not sure if I should get some other bed instead.
Desired outcome: Wished the whole bed would be replaced knowing it’s had mold inside it.
Waiting for new air chamber and pad to be sent.

We moved and hired Sleep Number to reassemble our bed at our new house.
When tech came out he found that the duvet Cover was damaged and could not reassemble our bed. He ordered a new one while he was at our house on June 8, 2023.
Every time I inquire about when it will be delivered I am told that it is on back order and apparently nobody in the company can give me any idea if or when it might be delivered.
I would think they are still making for new beds, I don't understand why it's taking so long for an existing customer especially after spending about $10,000 with Sleep Number several years ago for a split mattress and adjustable bed.
Desired outcome: Find out if I will get any time soon so we can start using our bed.
Refund and making fun of a disabled veteran on their disability
This happened on Friday, 6/30/23. What a terrible experience at Sleep Number for this disabled veteran at the Dulles Mall in Dulles, Virginia. I am a disabled veteran. I almost gave my life for your freedom and the Constitution, and I was disrepected by two employee named Rolando R. and Raven-Supervisor at customer service - [protected]. I went to Sleep Number in Dulles, Virginia. We purchased a Dual Temp 3.5, Half Queen as it was available at the store. Rolando R who we made the purchase from stated that if we found a better price, he would match it. We were two feet out the door and my husband found a better deal from Bedjet. We came back to the store with what we just bought 3 minutes ago from Rolando R. and showed him a better price. He laughed in my face and said he lied to me. We immediately returned the product for a full refund. I have the receipt for the refund, but I am not going to put the number down in facebook. He smirked and said the refund will come from the Corporate office and laughed in my face again. The fact that Rolando R lied to me about matching the price and laughing at me and my disability is a disgrace. I don't know how Sleep Number trains their employees of how to treat a disabled veteran and then lie to them about matching a price or better the price. It is horrorifying. I called Sleep Number customer service and complained how I was treated to a supervisor called Raven. She told me I would not get my refund from Corporate for 60 days. I said I would like my refund sooner and told her what went on and she said he should not have treated me this way. I asked for a reference number for the phone call and she got angry and told me to go blank myself. After this, I reported part of this to the Better Business Bureau. I find this horrifying and I am thinking reporting this to the Consumer Protection Agency and the FTC. I find it shocking to disrespect a disabled veteran. I want everyone to see this. Half of my platoon gave their lives for Sleep number and their employees to have their freedom and we protect peoples' rights and the Constitution. On behalf of my brothers and sisters veterans, I will not tolerate this horrible behavior from a company. Sleep Number bed
I bought a sleep number bed and sheets in Feb it was supposed to be zero percent for 36 months.
Well, I returned the sheets and they have miss applied it to my balance and they're charging me monthly interest. Even tho Its suppose to be zero percent.
They keep telling me a request has been made to correct the error but no one has fixed it.
This is unacceptable service!
They won't allow you to talk to anyone other than the customer service dept and they repeat the same thing over and over that the back has the request to correct!
I don't think they have a back office because 3 months is not acceptable.
They also are charging me the incorrect amount for my monthly payment and have told me oh yea the back office has that request and they are working on it.
so as you can see they are not helping me!
Desired outcome: I want the corporate office to help me and get this corrected, please.
online order for bedding
I placed Order [protected] May 9th for a sheet set and was feeling pretty pleased at the sale price I got. Then the next day I got an email that my order was cancelled because that color was no longer available. I reordered for a different color [protected] which is still a sale price but TWICE the price for the order [protected] that was cancelled. It bugs me that I am not getting the deal I originally had. All I get is a "sorry", with no other effort to make me feel better about that deal falling through. I'm not a happy customer. I'd like you to offer me some more consideration than just saying, "sorry our ordering system is SO BAD that we can tell you you're getting a great price one day and the next day, we take it back."

Bed was never set up and it doesn't work!
I bought my bed on April 29th. It was scheduled for delivery on Friday, May 5th 2023. I was told they would call me on Thursday and give me a 3 hour window for the delivery. This never happened. So on Friday, I was up at 7am waiting for them until I called the local store as soon as they opened, 10:00. They told me that someone should have called and that they could not help me find out when the delivery would arrive. I had to call the national number to find this out. After waiting for over 30 minutes on hold, they finally answered and told me that the delivery should be there sometime on Friday. At 13:00 the delivery man called me and told me that they would be there in about an hour. This was the only time someone at this company has told me the truth! They arrived and took my old mattress and placed the Sleep Number mattress where it should be and tried to set it up. After trying 7 different times to connect the WIFI, the pump finally worked, for almost 5 minutes. Then it stopped. The delivery man said that the national help number could help me with setting it up correctly. I called the national number to get help only to be put on hold and then hung up on. Saturday morning, the first person at the national office said she couldn't me but would connect me with someone who could. After being on hold for another 25 minutes, Sleep Number hung up on me again. I went to take a nap on my couch, since my bed is worthless, and the salesman at the local store called me to see how I liked my new bed. After describing the embarrassing service that Sleep Number had provided me so far, the salesman kindly connected me to the national number. This lady said she couldn't help me either, but she did connect me to someone else who tried. After wasting another hour of my time, she came to the realization that their product is malfunctioning and does not work. She did expedite me a new pump and said there would be instructions in an email and that a supervisor would call me sometime. On Sunday, a supervisor called me to see how my product was. After I told her what happened, she said that the new pump should arrive by Wednesday and that the instructions would come with it. She also said they would email me with a return label for the original pump. Today is Tuesday and the pump arrived, with NO instructions and I never received an email with any return stickers or instructions on how to return the 1st faulty pump. So I removed the old pump and replaced it with the new pump. Guess what! It doesn't work either! I called and left a message for the local salesman.
Desired outcome: I would like my bed to work. I definitely want my money back for delivery AND setup. I would really love to have a bed to sleep in! If they can't provide this, can I please get my old bed back.
Adjustable base
I got my bed may 2 2023 deliver to me by may 8 2023 the bed is offline. I can’t add air or change any feature off the bed. Call customer service got the rudest customer service. Like I ask a question put me on hold wait for answer than answer. Like such horrible customer service sell me defective item. I also got transfer around because the person did not know what to do basically put me back on the cue

Climate control 360 bed
I received the climate control 360 bed on April 20, 2021. After connecting it to my phone I realized I could not rise or lower the bed nor does it heat or cool. I call the sleep number representative concerning this and she let me know that the all of the motors on the bed was deflective. This representative told me that it would be two weeks before a technician could come out to my house concerning the bed so she referred me to the supervisor number. I did talk to a young man from the supervisor number on the 20th as well. He told me the same thing about the motor but would have the parts overnight to me which would be two days and then call back and he would get an technician out to me quickly. I did not receive the parts until yesterday the 24th but I did call the number and told a lady that I received the parts and I needed a technician to come to my house. The guy I spoke to did put me down for May 4th but assure me that it would be sooner after I get the parts. When I spoke with the lady, she did not make me feel that it would be sooner but it would be May 4th. I told her that was not reasonable for me because this was a new bed, never been used by me. I finance this bed for $10,000 and this is the results I get from your company. The young man I spoke with on the 20th was very professional and nice to me. He told time to listen to me fuss and complain. The lady I spoke to on the 24th was very ugly, the way she spoke to me I felt she didn't care. I do admit I did cut her off because of my frustration but instead of her stating she understand my frustration, she went on to say to me "before I was cut off, I was saying" - then she proceed to talk. After what she said, I did not want to hear anything else from her. She was rude and need to be trained in customer service. I did request to speak to someone higher than her. My husband is a disable veteran and need a bed that lifts. We no longer have the first sleep number bed that lift and now this has caused problems with my husband sleeping. He need to be elevated during the night in which this is not happening now. He have to sleep in a recliner due to this situation. Now we have to wait until May 4th to get this bed fixed.
Desired outcome: This bed half the price. I waited for two months for a defective bed to be given to me and now I have to wait two weeks for it to be fix. The bed is not worth $10,000 so half price for the bed
Sleep number bed
My husband purchased this bed 3 years ago. The sales man was so slick, acting like he cared about us, once he found out we were Christians, he suddenly became a gospel writer and played in a church band. Oh, he got us... once getting the bed home we immediately realized this was not the bed we discussed in the showroom. It was a queen size and not the 2 side king as we requested. We were told that model was $10,000.!. We called, we begged, we complained and 3 yrs later nothing. The bed is on showcase in our bedroom, not even fit to sleep in. After back issues, just recently spine surgery, we have an almost $7,000 worthless piece of junk that no one wants not even sleep number. There is a special place in hell for people who play on the hearts of the innocent. I just pray you can redeem your soul and your reputation Sleep Number before its everlasting too late. May my merciful Father have mercy on your souls because you have shown us none.

100 day satisfaction policy...
Sleep Number offers a 100 day refund guarantee if you are not happy with their bed. They fail to tell you that that same guarantee does NOT cover the $2,300 bed frame or the $1,000 headboard. They also do not tell you that to return that mattress they will charge you $200 to come get it. Yes, they cover it all in pages of fine print, but they do not tell you in person anything about the extra charges. Long story short, I am stuck with and paying for over $3,000 worth of useless equipment that I can't and now definitely won't use.
Here's the kicker. I made this complaint on BBB several months ago. Sleep Number actually replied publicly that they would work with me on what was owed and help me out. Of course no one ever called me, and when I called them, no one had a clue what I was speaking of, and of course there was no help offered. If that doesn't tell you about the integrity of a company, I don't know what does. They want to look good in public, but don't dare look behind that closet door. Absolutely shameful.
Desired outcome: Zero out my balance and come get this equipment that I can no longer use. Change your wording for your bogus "money back guarantee".
Delivery fees
I'm writing to express my disappointment with what I believe to be false advertising on behalf of Sleep Number. I purchased a bed with the understanding that there was a $249 delivery fee. What was explained to me was that 'you can return the bed within 100 days if you're unsatisfied but the delivery fee will not be reimbursed'. There was no mention that they would charge an additional $249 to pick up the bed if you chose to return it. My husband & I had high hopes for our new bed but unfortunately it didn't work out for us and we returned it. In doing so I was charged an additional $249! So to try out a bed for less than 100 days it cost $500! No other option to return the bed, they just take the money through the financing. I then tried calling customer service and the gentleman I spoke to was very rude and hung up on me. I was not rude to him, I only called to state that I thought there was a mistake because I was charged another delivery fee for the pickup. He said 'that's the way it is, is there anything else' I was taken aback and said no and began to explain my confusion and he hung up. I was so upset I called to complain to the Medford store that sold me the bed and they said I have to go through customer service. I called customer service after the bed was picked up and was basically told the same disappointing news but in a more professional manner. I will never buy another sleep number product or recommend sleep number to anyone over this. $500 is a lot of money in today's society and an outrageous fee that was never explained when the purchase was made. Very unprofessional and a huge lack of integrity.
Desired outcome: Reimburse the return delivery fee of $249.

I purchased a Sleep Number bed in 2013. I have never been thoroughly happy with my bed. Bed was never as firm as it was during my in-store trial. With that said I kept my bed. Currently my bed deflated, air pump and both remotes stopped working. February 4, 2023 I contacted the store for replacements. To this day I have not received replacements and because of shipping problems they are not able to give me an estimate of when the remotes/pumps will be delivered and I had to pay upfront. Currently I am unable to sleep on either side of this bed. They say we apologize but we just don't know when you will possibly get the items,
Desired outcome: I would have liked them to expedite both remotes and pumps. They are unable to tell me anything. How am I suppose to go to sleep? They did not offer me any such solution.

3 times we had called and had to leave messages because we waited over 20-30 minutes each time. No one has every called us back. We got an older sleep number bed when my mom past away 4 years ago. 3 years ago, we replaced the mattress only with a new sleep #. About 4 months ago, our remote that works the head up, foot down, massage etc quit working. We have the queen size with single, not split head/foot boards.
Each time we called, all we would like is someone to come out and fix our bed. My wife and I are in our late 70's. We can't crawl down and find the serial number. We talked to a rep who sold us our mattress and he said he would get somebody to come and fix it. nothing has happened. We bought our bed at the sleep number in The Villages, Florida. My name is Mick Bolduc (customer # [protected]) and I have had my Sleep Number bed for 4 1/2 years. Until recently I have been a very satisfied customer. The mattress started giving me issues and so I contacted customer service. On 2/2/23 I spent over an hour on the phone with customer service I believe her name was Yvonne-very nice person but not well versed in helping me with my problem. I was told by Yvonne that the parts on my mattress were only fully warranted for 2 years something I was never informed of when I purchased the unit 4 1/2 years ago. I now feel I was misled by the store who sold me the unit. Needing to get the bed fixed I felt I had no choice but to spend $129 on having technicians come out the following day on 2/3/23 to diagnose the problem. I was told they would be arriving between 12:30 PM-3:30 PM. At 3:50 PM I had to call to find out where they were. I was told they were running late from their previous appt. and would be arriving within 30 minutes. That is all well and good, but a courtesy call or text to let me know they were running late would have been very much appreciated. The technicians arrived and within 30 seconds were able to diagnose that I needed to replace the air chambers. $129 spent and it took them less than a minute to diagnose-with all due respect customer service should have been able to do that over the phone. On top of that I was told that I needed to pay for the 2 replacement air mattresses. The individual taking the order took pity on me and waived the shipping charges so it only cost me $157.04 but for a bed that is only 4 1/2 years old I feel that I should not have to pay any money at all for replacement parts.
Desired outcome: I would very much appreciate the $129 "diagnostic" fee and the $157.04 charge for the replacement air mattresses ($286.04 in total) refunded to me. Thank you for your consideration.
Sleep number c4 part 2 of complaint
Having to reinflate EVERY 15-20minutes. How does one get a good night sleep?! When tech came out, also found out that one whole side from top to bottom was split.&YES I have to pay for that replacement too. Prior techs were horrible and who knows what they did to my mattress when doing the base. Don't ask for as much detail if not going to give space

We bought our sleep number bed at local store at 17318 Valley Mall Rd., Suite B, Hagerstown, MD 21740 on June 20th 2019. Our base stop working about a year ago (moving up and down feature) and sleep number customer services refuse to help me...they keep referring to a third party company or (base support team) Leggett & Platt Adjustable Beds - LP Adjustable Beds at https://lpadjustablebeds.com that every time I call I just spend hrs. on hold and never get a representative to assist or help no matter time of day you call (always within their specified time range of Monday — Friday 8:00 am to 8:00 pm Eastern time)

Crappy warranty and customer service
We purchased our sleep number bed in September of 2021. Have had no issues up until last night. One side of the bed would lose air then pump back up and the pump would continue running and the bed wouldn’t inflate to the proper setting. After resetting the pump unit I finally got the bed to inflate and stop on the correct setting. The other side of the bed had no issues the night before but when we woke up it was
Totally deflated and would not re-inflate. I disconnected and reconnected the hoses from the bed and then the pump. Tried to inflate again and it would not inflate. Swapped hoses at the pump from one side to the other and the deflated side finally inflated. When I laid on the other side now it deflated totally and won’t pump up. I called their support number and explained my issue. I was told the would order a pump for me and it would be covered by warranty. After getting my information I was told I am two years into my 15 year warranty and would be responsible for 65% of the replacement part cost. If I went with a refurbished unit it would be $135. Ridiculous for the amount I paid for this bed and the copay to be so high after owning it for one year and five months is ludicrous. I refused to pay that much for something that now after reading all of the issues continuously goes bad with these overpriced beds. At this point I am considering getting rid of the bed and making sure to tell everyone I can not to purchase ever.
