Sleep number bed
I bought a sleep number bed, and the order was incorrect. I called the installers, store and customer service. Everyone acknowledged that the order was incorrect, but no one could assist me. I asked to return the order since it was incorrect and I was told that I could not return the base, which I paid 3000 for. No one was of any assistance and I spend my day trying to get it resolved. No one called for me and I was constantly put on hold.
Delivery & Setup of Split King Bed
After waiting patiently for five weeks for our bed to arrive, we were literally contacted the morning of delivery to inform us we were being rescheduled 2 1/2 weeks out or later due to weather. Our weather is fine today, so where is my $11k purchase? We purchased this bed due to sleep issues and having been counting down to our promise of a better night’s sleep. It’s infuriating to be told the morning of after deconstructing our current bed that we have no option other than to wait with no apologies or conversation. Calling the 800 number is an hour wait at minimum. We feel completely mistreated given the amount of money we entrusted this company with and still have seen no benefits from the money spent. I’d love to see this issue rectified and my bed arrive in a suitable time for our needs rather than whatever is delaying Sleep Number.
Desired outcome: Earlier arrival of the bed I’ve literally been counting down to enjoy.

Mattress quality
We were proud owners of a sleep number bed for 14 years so when it came time to buy another mattress, we decided to stick with Sleep Number. We, unfortunately, have been very disappointed. The first mattress we purchased ($9K plus) was for the split California king with the flex base. We were told that the split down the middle was not a big problem at all and there had not being any complaints with the two mattresses separating. That turned out to be false and immediately from day one found ourselves constantly falling into the middle of the crack so the very next day we scheduled a return. We decided to get the partial split so we could still control raising the top part individually but this too has turned out to be awful. Again, the two mattresses separate significantly where the split is and although we both have the "responsive air" option on, we find ourselves having to readjust our sleep number every morning. Last night my setting was at 50 and this morning at 20 and yes, we have checked for air leaks and made sure everything is tight but I have become extremely unhinged from my lack of sleep, my upper body constantly falling into the crack and the now every day back pain I experience. We invested almost $9K in this bed and now its causing me significant issues. Due to your policy, I cannot return this mattress and just buy one with no split and this is so disheartening that I find myself wanting to start getting on all social media outlets to advise of how unfair your return policy is. This was a big investment for my family and to come out of it with pain, depression and overall discomfort is astonishing to me.

Delivery and set up
On 9/11/2022 we purchased the Sleep Number i8 king with split frame adjustable base. We were told delivery would be 10/21/22. On the morning of 10/21/22 the truck driver called me and informed me that there were missing parts and would I still accept the delivery. I asked what parts and how did it effect the bed. I was told I could still sleep on the bed but the adjustable frame would not work or any of the sleep number functions. He told me they would ship the parts in a few days and they would come back to hook it up.
On 10/26/22 the parts arrived at my home. I was told to call customer service to schedule the install. They told me they could not install the parts until 11/17/22! Meanwhile I have been charged 9499.00 and do not have a functioning bed.
Customer service agrees that someone dropped the ball on this order, but they are unable to do anything about it. Can you please explain to me how a company can be so unresponsive regarding their product?
Desired outcome: I want the bed to be fully functioning and not have to wait another 4 weeks for that to be done. I would like an apology and a full refund of both the mattress and the bed frame if this cannot happen soon.

Order number [protected] was ordered and PAID FOR by me on 7/15/22 and has not arrived yet. Your Customer Service people tell me it is on backorder with no info on when it will be available.
I am assuming you are prioritizing pumps for your new manufacturing and are putting replacement parts orders on the back burner. 3 months is too long to wait. Is there anyone in the Sleep Number organization who can expedite my order and get it shipped or at least tell me when it will ship? Thank you...

Advanced dualair firmness control system
I ordered this in July and was told it would be 4 - 7 business days until delivery. Well obviously, that was inaccurate and has not occurred. I have called a few times, and the individuals have been courteous, but have absolutely no information — including if anything is being done. Each time I have called in, I have been given a different excuse as to why this item is back ordered...In other words, making up garbage.

Replacement Pump
I paid for a replacement pump - have had bed for 18 years - 4 hose pump no longer made- they are replacing with a newer pump with a new remote, however its been 4 months since I ordered May 26, 2022 and PAID for said pump- but they have no idea when it will ship!
I have a warranty and if they can't replace the pump then replace the bed - Why can they ship new beds with same pump but can't replace the pump I have?
No other company charges the full amount and does not ship, or give an estimate of shipping. Not Target, Amazon, Macy's or other major store.
Livid.
Desired outcome: Replace the pump ASAP or replaced the whole bed with a new pump. Not having a good sleep experience! I need an upper level manager of supply chain to call me, or I'll call the CEO myself, and the AG for additional fraud action!
Sam's issue as everyone above...placed order for replacement pump (which on older beds is not available and must now use new pump) on 5/19/22, and to date have not received the order. Calls to Sleep Number get response of back ordered every time with no further information - even though you're charged immediately for the purchase. Found this post while searching for who to contact at corporate for this poor quality of service.

I bought a Queen Dual ILE 360 Smart Bed April 17, 2022.
It was delivered August 16. Stephen Williams (Maui) recommended A local business to pick it up at the harbor and to set it up.
There have been problems:
The bed is inoperable.
There is a phone jack.
No cord.
Air pump box is inoperable.
The cordless remote will not activate the air pump box.
The bed is hot ... I often wake up and have to go change my nightgown because it is wet.
Desired outcome: I want to return this bed.I want a refund.My husband did talk to Customer Service twice ... they could not help us.

I bought this bed about a year ago and was told that you would not behave to worry about laying in space between the two beds . this is not true I wake up and i am close or in that area and have to move back over to edge of bed very dissatisfied with bed would not buy now virgil bryson

King Size Bed, sheets
I have purchased over ten sets of sheets for my King Size Sleep Number bed over the years. I have even had them replaced a few times. Yet, I keep having to replace them because they continue to tear in the same place. They are a lifetime warranty but this is ridiculous. At some point, you should just stop selling these sheets. I I only have one set of sheets left. All of them were bought in your Sleep Number Store in Orange, Connecticut. Great Staff! They convinced me to try the Flex Sheets instead because I keep having to replace them. That’s my FINAL set of sheets in my closet because all the others tore in the same spot in the seam. All my information of purchases and replacement is in your system. If these sheets weren’t so incredible expensive I’d just buy more. But, the price and efforts I’ve made to have an extra few in my closet to cover my bed between washes leads me to finally file this complaint. My history is in your computer system.

King size adjustable base and mattress
We spent almost 12,000 for king sized adjustable base (allowing each side to adjust independent of the other), mattress (two twin XL to fit the adjustable base), and bed frame. Salesperson told us we could return all if not satisfied and he told us this repeatedly. Mattresses sagged in the middle and separated, leaving about a 5 inch gap between the two. Adjustable base almost killed our cat who immediately jumped into the bed structure when we raised one side. Because the bed frame goes all the way down to the floor, there was no way for cat to escape. We were provided no warning regarding danger to small animals. We attempted to return, only to be told that the adjustable base was a final sale and we could not get our money back. They provided our signed contract that said we agreed to this. In fact we did sign, but the salesperson chatted with us as we signed, just pointing to areas where we should initial and sign, with no indication that we actually needed to read it.
Have reached out to sleep number repeatedly now, particularly regarding what happened to our cat. They are holding to refuse to allow us to return the base.
We believe that their sales tactics were quite misleading, and we would never have purchased had we known the potential danger to our cat.
Desired outcome: We want refund for mattresses and adjustable base.
New split king P5 360 smart bed
Me and my husband went to the showroom to buy a bed which would help our backs and hips. We love the mattress. However when we got got our mattress is was nothing like the we thought we had bought. Tried to sleep on it for a week and decided no. I woke up several times at night with pressure point pain, having to move around. I called to return the bed and they told me they would send me out a pad to go on top and one for the bottom that would help with all the pressure point and keep me from waking up. I ask why did they not sell me the mattress i bought instead of somthing you have to come back out and add. They replied some people dont need it. Wow then told me i had to wait 30 days to return it. So when u purchase anything for them which i say dont make sure you are getting the whole mattress not just half. Horrible company! Not worth a penny. Heck just go buy you a blow up mattress!
Desired outcome: I have to wait 30 days for me to get rid of this piece of crap. And do not sell you the same bed you bought in the store. They send half of the mattress. Then when you call to complain and send it back they say you have to wait 30 days.
Sleep number bed
I purchased my sleep number bed and it was delivered on June 4, 2022. On June 7, 2022 I had a lengthy discussion with customer service about my bed now working. I called customer service and made an appointment for and a technician came out on June 28, 2022. The technician thought the control board was bad. The technician came out to the house on July 7, 2022. The bed is still not working. I was told that I would get a phone call from customer service. it is now 1:23 pm on July 8-, 2022 and still no phone call.

we bought two sleep number beds 4 days ago on Discover card for $11,000. now I find out all the problems with the bed and this company. I want to cancel my order. We don't want the beds at all. Poor performance, parts and no customer service. The sales lady lied to us about the 100 day trial. She never told us that we wouldn't get our money back for the two expensive frames. SHe rushed me the paper to sign and I didn't take the time to read this. I just found this out online. SInce we haven't taken possession yet can we cancel and get a full refund. The beds are not due here til August 9th.
How does this company get away with this crap? Seems not up from at all. Can you give me advice? I guess it is impossible to get to customer service also.

Service Call Damage
I need a service call to fix my sleep number bed. There were told it was losing air. So the reasonable thing to do of course would be to bring a new hose or hose kit. They didn't. They so-called service truck comes out, says they will order it. Two men in a BIG truck. When they were leaving, the guy on the passenger side was not watching anything but his phone. They ran OVER my well and pump. This also destroyed my well house. This driver supposedly called the accident in and said someone would call me in a couple of hours. A couple of days go by and nothing. I send the company an email, I called and left messages, and NOTHING. This was our only means of water out here and having animals who MUST have water or die much less us. I finally get someone on the phone and they say will pass this on to whatever department. STILL no one has called to resolve this not to mention, NO HOSE KIT. They seem to be just IGNORING US. GOING ON A MONTH.
Desired outcome: PAY FOR THE DAMAGE AND TROUBLE AND FIX THE BED.
360 Smart Bed
I had no way to know I was the one to fix my bed. I purchased a 360 Smart bed in 2018. One side of my bed is losing air. I am over 80 with major back problems. I have checked all I am able to locate the leak. I was told to lift the mattress, but it is very heavy. There is no way I can do this. If I inflate to 60 by morning, I can feel the base. I need help
Desired outcome: My bed would stop deflating.

Ordered a replacement air pump on 2/13/2022 from sleep number. was told it would be shipped out in 3 to 5 business days. After many phone calls, and misinformation, learned that item was on back order. Called on 4/22/2022 and I still do not have any new information of status of order and customer service is unable to contact anyone in company for update.
Desired outcome: want to receive air pump that was ordered and payed for on 2/13/2022.

Sleep number sheets only hold up for about 11/2 years. The fitted sheets rip. Your better off to purchase target brand sheets. I paid quite a bit for two sets of king size ( $ 230.00 a set ) and they only warranty their sheets for one year. That should tell you something right there! They never mentioned warranty to me when I purchased.the sheets, it would have brought up a RED FLAG!
Most crappy sheets I ever purchased for a gigantic price.

Sleep number bed and service
I called with a complaint about the mattress not adjusting when I move around at night and a service tech was sent. He changed our bladders (which were fine) then told us we needed magnets and a new foam piece. When asked about the auto adjustment so I wasn’t laying on the hard bottom he said there was nothing he could do about it. He also said the parts we needed “might” get ordered but we had to fix it ourselves. I’m disabled. We’ve had sleep number mattresses for 17 years. We are still paying for this one. So far this bed has been horrible. At least half the time you try to make adjustment it won’t work. Rather than just raising the head a small amount you have to push the auto button that lifts the head and feet then readjust from there! We’ve never had so many issues and such poor support. I’m not sure what our warranty is but if we could send this bed back tomorrow we would!
