Snap Fitness collections

To whom it may concern:
I am writing toy guys regarding an incident that happened about 2 years ago. My card had gotten stolen and as result I had to cancelled it. You charged me 2 months until I cancelled my membership. I wasn't aware you were charing me 2 months, until collections called me. Once they called me I called the manager and spoke to him about my problem. He was very rude, yet I paid him the amount. He told me this wouldn't go to collections, so did your First Credit Services company. Which brings me here 2 years later. I see a collections charge in my account which I paid. I was lied to by your manager saying this wouldn't affect me. I've had such a horrible experience at you facility in El Centro, Ca. Now I want everything to get fixed. I need proved that I paid this so I can erase this from my credit score which has been affecting me. Best Regards

Snap Fitness cancelled membership

Hi there,

I have a major issue. I have been getting my bank account charged monthly for the Snap Fitness membership for well over a year now.

I first signed up for my membership back in March 2017. I worked out for not even 2 months and I had hurt my foot badly that my doctor told me I was no longer to work out until my foot healed. I went into the gym and let the owner know that I would not be returning as instructed by my doctor. I have been trying to figure out for months who was debiting my account each month and it has been Snap Fitness.

I am not happy at all that I have been charge for my membership when I have not at all even stepped foot into the gym. I haven't once received any notification that my account was being debited on a monthly basis.

I have been charged a monthly fee for $30.28 for the last 13 months and 2 months I have been debited a different amount. April 2018 I was charged $64.18 and this month August I was charged $88.81. For the 13 months I was charged a total of $393.64. In total I have been charged $546.63.

I am not happy at all about this as I notified the gym I was unable to work out due to a serious injury to my left foot. Now to come to find I have been charged every month. This is outrageous.

I want the payments to stop immediately and I want all of my money returned to me ASAP. A total of $546.63. If this is an issue please let me know as I will take the matter to the BBB. I am not happy about this at all...That is a lot of money I am out and not once stepped foot into the gym at all. My white card to get into the gym was also returned the same time I couldn't work out anymore. I had my sister drop that card off for me. I remember that well.

I hope this won't be a long issue and big argument. I hope that my account will be debited the full amount and no more payments will ever come out of my account at all. If this is an issue I will make sure it is dealt with in a timely manner. I would really appreciate your full cooperation in this matter. ASAP.

Snap Fitness overcharged

I called and left a message to cancel my membership since no one seems to answer the phone. I went to check over a month later to make sure it was cancelled and it wasn't. I called again, left a message then emailed. The email I received told me I had to wait 30 days to cancel my membership and they charged my account today. Hello if you would of answered your phone the first time this wouldn't of happened. I also changed my card number and they charged the wrong card. Worst place to deal with. I want my money back now

Snap Fitness bel road sanjay nagar

In 2017 I joined gym took annual package service and due health condition I attended only two months of gym after words coz health condition dr recommend not to go for gym... And so I informed same n mailed but know telling didn't informed n all. Not refunded my amount to, so kindly plz help me out. I really felt it's kind of cheating. If v utilesed the service than it's worth to have our money when I didn't used only gym it's duty to refund my amount.

Snap Fitness complaint against the payment deducted even after cancellation of membership:

My membership card number is 5648227 [protected] - 5. On 11/04/2017, I paid the full and final amount at Takanini center NZ and signed the document to cancel the membership because I shifted to Auckland CBD. Today I opened my account and saw you had charged almost 35 NZD (19.44 + 8.04 + 8.04).
After having a conversation with one of your employees, she says that its company's norms and conditions to deduct one-week money even after the customer has canceled his membership. This makes no sense to me, as a cancellation means to stop the subscription.

I want you to take this matter seriously and refund my money along with all the cancellation charges that have been deducted from my account because nobody has informed me about it. Since your employee wasn't understanding and did she show any concerns on this matter, so I expect that you will help me in this matter.

Please reply me as soon as possible.

Snap Fitness customer service

This month to month no contract is a lie. I went in to cancel my membership he is charging me for this month and doing the 30 day notice but they also plan on charging me for next month because it falls 8 days after the billing period this is a 30 day notice not a 60 day notice. He asked about my access card and I didn't have it on me but I plan to check to make sure I can still have access. He also threatened to turn me into collections even though I told him I will come in and pay to get my account canceled.

Snap Fitness gym membership refund

Myself Gaurav Bhandari, I joined the snap fitness Saket in August 2017, I purchased yearly membership plan. In October the gym is shut down. I don't know the reason. There is no response to my any mail by your franchise. I am attaching my bill to verify that I am a genuine member. And please respond to this mail and initiate the refund in my bank account.

Snap Fitness unauthorized eft transaction

I am not sure what is going on at the Sylacauga, Al location. Word of mouth is mishandling of money. I was a month to month member. In September 2017 I stopped the membership fee from coming out of my bank account each month. I paid Oct 2017 $19.95 cash. On December 4, 2017 a EFT showed 19.95 was taken from my bank account by snap fitness. If I didn't approve Oct & Nov, I surely didn't authorize December. I left a voicemail at snap and on the cell phone of Kevin Grandy the gym Manger, & I have email corporate.
No one has contacted me. I as in no contract, & I already paid the key card fee. The word is Kevin the manager owes a lot of money he mishandled pertaining to fees. My bank had have been saved in order for the account to have been changed back. My bank info was said to have been deleted Sept 11, 2017, by the other manager.
Somebody better be contacting me.

Snap Fitness snap fitness egypt

People, please don't go to Snap Fitness in Cairo, Egypt! The worst gym I have seen in my life. First of all - cameras, cameras everywhere! A camera in the elevator, three cameras inside the locker room. Ok, the people in Egypt never get naked when they are changing, but still - the idea is extremely stupid. And what if somebody just visiting Egypt goes there and undresses - the video will become available over the internet worldwide? The only next possible step in the absurdity of Snap fitness would be to install cameras inside showers or in the toilet. Of course for the members' convenience. Absolutely incompetent trainers - there are dozens of them and each one is trying to advise you, including some very doubtful advises - have you ever heard that it is forbidden to stretch your hands when doing the bench press? The environment inside the gym is very negative - with such a loud music that one has to shout in order to say something. The whole gym is covered with absurd, stupid and non-sense slogans and different "jokes" like about preparing to die and similar things. And the idea of the maintenance that you can get fresh air inside the gym in opening the windows. In Cairo, in city center, in an agglomeration with 6 million old cars and no standards for environment protection. And yes, AC' are still not working for half of the day. All in all - gym to be avoided.

Snap Fitness canceling membership

I filled out the form to cancel my gym member ship for the snap fitness located in Brawley CA 92227 during the month of July 2017 due to the fact that i was relocating to Washington State. MY membership has yet to be canceled and it is november 2017 i have contacted the branch several times and was told manager isnt available and that they would get back to me. I am tired of waiting and paying 50 dollars a month since. I want my money back that i have lost due to your employees not being responsible enough to simply cancel a membership. I would not like to take legal actions for a employees lack of responsibility.

Snap Fitness snap fitness centre

Hi Team,

My name is Niranth and I have joined Snap Fitness on July 2017.

As this is the first time I joined for 4 months to know more about Snap Fitness & I had paid around Rs.6000/-

But unfortunately, I Met with an accident in the end of August 2017 I was hospitalized and couldn't go to the Gym as my health condition was very bad... So, when I felt that I was completely fine I started going to the Gym again from Oct 23, 2017 and asked your 1 of your employe named Mr. Vinay to extend the days as I couldn't make it in this time period... And he directly replied that we do not have that option at all in our system... He don't even have that basics on how to interact with customers..

Can you please tel me what kind of policy is this? How will a person know that he won't be well/ will not cause any accident for next 4 months lost joining the Gym... Nobody is ready to give me an answer for anything in Nagarbhavibranch, Bengaluru, India...

I would request you to kindly extend the days as I couldn't make it due to my health issues... It was an emergency please try to understand... It is my own hard earned money what I have paid to Snap... Is this the way u treat your customers? I will be expecting a prompt response from your end soon...

Snap Fitness membership cancellation

I Want to complain on this branch of snap fitness in burlington Wisconsin, We used to be a member of snap fitness about 3 years ago, then we quit then I enrol again on Sept. 28 2017, but due to misunderstanding and overcharged of the staff i cancelled it after 2 day to enroll in different snap fitness club, since i can get any help and staff and rude, I cancelled my membership Sep. 29 2017, over 2 weeks now still dont have our maney back, just want to get the money so we can enroll in another snap fitness club, when i told her (Jenny) i just want to cancel my membership, she said "fine you cant use our club then" then hang up on me. Dont want to cause any problem just want my money back. Any help will be really appreciated.

Snap Fitness staff member

A staff member is extremely rude. I politely informed him that this was the second time he is giving me attitude. And that if it happens again I would have to take action. The whole time I was telling him this he has a condescending smirk on his face and finally said, "do whatever you want, friend" in an extremely dismissive and condescending manner.
The first time I had to deal with this individual was when I was signing up. He was sitting with a girl whom I presumed was his girlfriend and I stood there for a while before he stopped talking to her to acknowledge my presence (he knew I was there too). When i told him I would like to sign up, he huffed and went through the process - clearly agitated by my interruption.
This person is also a personal trainer. He keeps staring at me during my exercises which is extremely uncomfortable as I am the only person he seems to stare at.
Please take appropriate action immediately or I may have to revoke my membership and take further action myself.

Snap Fitness refusal to issue receipt for amount paid for annual membership and extremely bad customer handling

I am a surgeon who took up a annual membership plan for which I was forced to buy, even 1 month post payment of my membership amount my receipt yet to be issued and they say software glitches N they have not issued a hand written receipt and not only this they just let a new member into the gym without proper pre gym work up like the weight height, BMI and inbody analysis or proper nutrition or diet information or there is anyone to guide us through the gym workout schedule. The franchise owner N snap Fitness have accepted their fault but refuse to move towards redressed of the same. Its a really horrible experience that I have had at the outset itself.

Good evening my name is Rohit and I am the member of snap fitness canningvale wa Australia .I am writing this mail to give you attention for this Branch .lot of my friends with me planing to quit this gym because of discrimination and bad behaviour of staff with our Indian community we are more than 30 members specially the gym manager Liz she do gossip with her mates in gym and don't her mates don't let anyone to use machines if we ask them again then she help them to make arrangements with us we having bad experience with this club and using unprofessional posters on mirror so please fix this problem asap otherwise we have to leave this gym I m attaching some pictures as well for posters on mirror

Hello, I am a manager at a Snap Fitness location in the US and I would like to say that I sincerely apologize for the nasty behavior that this Snap Fitness location has shown. Each facility is a privately owned franchise, so the experiences that you have will differ with each location. I did look at the pictures that you included and I am horrified by the lack of professionalism and empathy that this emoyee is displaying. I assure you that her opinions Do not reflect that mission of Snap Fitness whatsoever. We are a company that prides ourself on customer service. I hope your experience as that Shap Fitneas location hasn't tainted your opinion on Snap as a whole.

Snap Fitness lack of air conditioning and broken equipment

Snap fitness in Gilbert Az- tow of three air conditioning units have been broken for 7 weeks. Owner refuses to fix as he doesn't want to invest $1500 to keep the place cool. The gym gets upwards of 90 during the day and people are dying. 2/6 treadmills have been broken for a year and the other 4 slip really bad. Pretty much the same for the old elliptical machines. They took out a $35 equipment upgrade fee back in Jan and NOTHING has been upgraded or fixed! I have contacted corporate many times and haven't heard a thing!

Snap Fitness staff bullying ignored by management

I am not surprised that Timaru Snap Fitness NZ has gone through so many managers. As a former manager myself and despite the public being informed that I was leaving so I could spend more time with my family (which was only part of it) it was more to do with the bullying occurring within the club and by Personal trainers and a lack of ethics or team work. Although this was brought to the attention of my manager and owners, it was ignored as they are quite happy to have anyone training people in their gym as long as they are paying rent. I took on a newly qualified 18 year old and he has already left due to childish victimisation where although I understand these people are self employed- there should surely be an element of teamwork? I was apparently disliked for being 'friendly with the customers' and advised that Snap is not a sociable gym. I wish members knew what was really going on behind the scenes. I also emailed CEO Andy Peat who also decided to totally ignore my emails.i have never experienced a gym like it.

Snap Fitness stealing from the disabled

Joined snap on advice of dr. Signed contract for 3 months of small group training at contract signing told owner & trainer i was on social security disability and don't recieve any $$ til the 3rd of each month they said that was fine and wrote it on contract next month comes and they take the fee out on the 1st causing an overdraft of my checking we tryed to discussed it they gave me the run around will be canceling very soon won't be going back
