Non receipt of agreed refund
Due to Covid concerns I cancelled my prepaid membership and on 21st February 2022 I provided my bank account details to the Snap Fitness branch at Victoria Park, WA. The agreed refund was AU$126.34 and despite numerous follow ups by me (face to face, phone calls and emails) no refund has been received and the Snap Vic Park is now not responding to my contacts.
There appears to be no other way to contact someone at Snap headquarters in Australia.
I have copies of all emails sent and it is now over 1 month since I gave my bank details to Snap!
Desired outcome: I want my refund paid to me, as agreed by Snap Fitness.

Back in January , the hot showers stopped working. It took 2 weeks for the Club to fix them because the water was running cold.
We was told 2 weeks later the Showers are working and now hot.
A few weeks ago I went to have a shower I ran it for at least 10 minutes and they are still cold.i let the person on duty know.
I went back in 2 days later and the same thing happened. So I contacted the club manager who basically told me i had not ran the shower long enough and they are all running hot.
I've not used the showers since, but thought today I'll be brave enough to try. And yet again ran the shower for at least 10 Mins and they're freezing.
It's getting beyond a joke I have to go to work sweaty because the gym refuse to believe the showers aren't working. We pay a lot of money compared to other snap gym and they cant provide hot showers. Also a lot of the equipment has been broken or out of use for over a month.
Could someone please look into this because they don't want to listen to their customers.

Membership fees
I have a question on why would you charge more for a membership if there is already one established especially if they have been there for many years. It was a group membership and the reason for the group membership is because they were a minor at the time they started and the person that had the membership moved and left this person to create another account for themselves but a higher price. Please respond asap.
Desired outcome: I hope they reconsider and let this person keep paying what they were paying before.

In the 23/12/21 $121.84 was deducted which left me with $8-64 and again this wk and 29/12/21 an amount of $103 was deducted from my account which left me with $47 to my name i am not impressed i certainly wasn't notified of these payments no email no nothing.

the air conditioning is ridiculously loud around the clock even now in winter. A week ago I fell ill for that reason. I just finished my training today and am in trouble again. I have told the manager about the problem twice and she has fully informed me. If this is not solved, I will have to file a lawsuit for damages and damages as well as compensation for the loss of my working days. The first time is fine but if this situation is affecting my health for second time ( like tomorrow I am carrion fell bad..) and you don't give me any solution ... Over charged after cancelling
We cancelled our joint account with snap fitness Clifton Bristol within the cool off period and returned the passes as requested- we also received a confirmation of cancellation via email. We cancelled on the 10th of May 2021. We have since been charged £332.91 over 5 months after we have cancelled .
This is not acceptable and has affected our finances and affordability when lenders have looked at our accounts. Please investigate and return our money!

Called the manager of snap fitness.
instructed me to send an email to the business to cancel the gym membership and stated that I would receive an email straight away with further instructions on how to cancel.
have not received and email since.

Called the manager of the business twice to no answer. Left a voice mail stating that I had not received the cancellation email and to call me back to get everything sorted straight away.

Called the manager of the business due to yet another charge on my account. No answer

was told my bank to cancel the bank card and get a new one. so I did.
I was further refunded the above disputed to my account.
25/9/2021 received an email from snap fitness stating that after multiple times they tried contacting me (never contacted me once) I have outstanding
membership fees (which was the disputed amount above) and that i need to make payment within 48 or debt collectors may be involved.
the email was sent by a gym assistant.
The say day at approx. 9:45 I called the number which happened to be the sender of the email. she suggested that i come into the gym (4 hours away) and sort out the account.
I explained the situation and how the manager has never contacted me or returned my phone calls she apologised for the situation and claimed that the account would be cancelled straight away to
prevent further issues and that she would get the manager to contact me on the following Monday. 27/9/2021

Made numerous requests to cancel this gym membership last year. Finally made a note of when I requested cancellation and saved the email as written proof this time.
Useless staff passing the buck from one centre to another in order to cancel.
I was last advised it would be cancelled as soon as they re-opened from furlough, only to find money is still leaving my account two months later.
You can hardly get through on the telephones, when you do staff are ignorant and keep asking you to put your request in writing/email, which I have already done! Very frustrating.
Would never recommend someone to sign up to anything where staff are so incompetent that they cannot cancel a membership and continuously charge you. I have bank statements to prove money is still coming out, emails to prove I have cancelled but no one seems to be able to action this.
Really think your staff need training on the value of customer service and a new system should be put in place to action cancellations with immediate effect. This is a very difficult time for a lot of people and no one needs the extra stress of constantly chasing people to do their job.
I desire a refund from any payments that have left my account from November 2020. I requested cancellation prior to January but cannot find record of it - may have been over the telephone. The gyms were not accessible in Nov/Dec due to lockdown and I put my cancellation request through again in January 2021 in the form of an email.
Due to still being in Lockdown in January no further payments should have been taken once the centres re-opened in April. I find it disgusting they suggested I still pay a part payment for the final month of April once the centres re-opened. Regardless of that correspondence they are still charging me a full monthly fee. The last transaction was taken 3rd June for £34.95
The account that the funds are paid from was due to be closed so this has now also put me in an unarranged overdraft and prevented me from closing the account due to pending payments.
This has been a huge inconvenience to me.

My name is Ashley Welling and I've been a member at Snap fitness Deception Bag for 3 months.
I wake up at 3:30am to go to the gym before work and I have been denied access 3 mornings.
I was told upon signing up that if I had any trouble accessing the gym, to ring the after hours number to gain access.
The first time at 4am I rang the number and NO answer, so I went home.
The 2nd time again at 4am, I rang the number twice and again NO answer.
I went and saw Bradley the Manager and told me there was a problem with the payment on their side so card was denied.
On the 14th me and my friends cards were both denied access, we both tried to call the after hours numbers for 4 hours and NO answer. I went to the gym on the 17th Nov and again spoke to Bradley at 5pm and he said their was an error with the system and nobody could enter the gym. I expressed my issues and was told he is unwilling to answer his phone after hours and I personally think this is unacceptable for a service. I pay to have 24/7 entry and it is sad that their is no effort put in from the staff and they think it is ok for their customers to be waiting around for when he is ready. I voiced that I was not happy with the service and he said he was happy for me to join a different gym.
Just wondering if this is Snapfitness work ethic or just a lazy employee.
Bradley is unwilling to get up for 1 min to grant me entry but is happy for me
Gym cleanliness
I'm a member of Queen Creek AZ SNAP. It opened back up a week ago after the covid shutdown. Since that day., a week ago, the gym has not been cleaned. it is a disgusting mess. trash cans overflowing. bathroom toilets and sinks filthy. And out on the gym floor there isn't a single paper towel available. all paper towel dispenser are empty. Therefore machines are not getting wiped down at all. With the virus problem going on this is unacceptable. Who's responsible if a member contracts the virus because the gym wasn't adaquately sanitized? What has happened to this gym?! it used to be a nice clean gym when the previous owner had it. I am going to cancel and go elsewhere.

I was a manager at fort Payne snap fitness. I was there for a year. I was at work on time (very early every day) I did all the job duties. I worked hard everyday. The gym got bought and the new owners where more involved which was great!!! I had owners that really cared about the well being of the gym. Well so I thought. Over the month of them owning it...

I would not categorize these as complains. But they are more like inconvenience/requests and I believe it is better to pay attention to them. Also, these are not just my problems, I believe they affect others as well.
It is regarding the center located at 6534 Yorktown Blvd suite 104, Corpus Christi, TX 78414. While I like the location of this center, parking is a problem and that got worse recently. It's in a shopping that also has a night club, a liquor store, a printing store, and a driving school. The liquor store, the printing store, and the fitness center are on one half of the shopping center that has only 8 parking spots. It was already tough to find a place there. Recently, the liquor store assigned 4 of this 8 spots as their store spots and prohibits others to park there. So, virtually there are only 4 parking spots available to share between the fitness center & the printing store. On the top of that, customers for the liquor stores can also park in these 4 spots as they are not prohibited to do so. The other half of the parking lot could be used, but it's always busy with the students in the driving school & the customers of the bar. There is a gas station next to the area but they are quite unorganized and parking there does not look safe.
So, do you think it's reasonable to have basically 4 parking spots for more than 2 stores? Few time I have even seen 2 cars from the driving school parked there. Often there are over 10 people working out, especially when some yoga and other fitness lessons are in session. And yes, that's another issue. During those sessions, they play loud music. So loud, I can hardly tolerate. For that, they use speakers that are even located on the other side of the room where those are not needed.
The parking problem is becoming worse. Often the customers in the liquor store will stop cars here and there blocking the driveway making it almost impossible to go through or park anywhere.
I like this location very much but because of these two problems, especially the parking problem is making me think to move to some other fitness center.

I went into the club in Cirencester, Gloucestershire, UK and completed a form to cancel my membership and it would appear that someone lost it. I am being chased and threatened with court and it is grossly unjust. I am basically being called a liar instead of the club admitting that maybe one of their staff has made an error. I have now received a letter from a solicitor to chase for money and I have emailed and complained and noone is listening to me. I have never come across such an incompetent and poor quality gym. The staff are sloppy and lazy and I do not doubt now that they mislaid or lost my form and they are covering their own backs. As it is they don't even notice when non members slip through the door for free. Am I expected to pay for them am I?

I would like you to help me resolve this issue, I have sent this to a complaints organisation and the local Trading Standards office.

It's pretty unprofessional and gross to have see and heard people y'all about how they've gone in to workout and the kids that work there are caught having sex on the machines with girlfriends/ members. I'd like to go back but that is very off putting. I used to like to hit the bags in there and lift and do cardio however I am less likely to go and it was closest for me being that I live in Los Lunas and lost time because of said event. Less likely to drive to Albuquerque locations I have signed up with snap for a cheaper alternative and professional clean exercise.

Snap fitness at Dandenong, he told pay $99 and free for 2 month, so I sign and after 1 week and half later I call in to cancel the membership, cause it not a no contract and I can cancel anytime I want. He told me that I can only cancel 28 days which I ask him to provide the dates which I can come in to cancel. Which he did not so I have to ring him and then come to the gym and talk to him so he provided me the dates which was 28 August. Then on the 22 August they withdraw money from my bank account without my knowledge and consent, while k told him past three or four week that I wan to cancel the membership. I come to the gym talk him, he say they will take two more payment from my account then cancel my membership, I told him you never told my that. And which company that when a customer try to cancel membership which I can't and then have to pay you two more time to cancel the membership. He won't let me cancel my membership and he withdrew money without my knowledge and my consent and lies.

I have dropped mail and following up since last two months for the machines and equipment in snap fitness rajajinagar bangalore but no action has been taken by the management. Also called customer care to look into the matter but again was unheard. Clearliness and management behavior specially the owner is very rude. Please let me know is the centre ready to extend my membership for the inconvenience they have caused. This has really impacted the brand snap fitness, I as a customer is not at all satisfied with the service. I do have photos of machines out of service. In case required I can provide them as well. Good morning. I have reached out to one of the snap fitness in hodgenville Kentucky and emailed one of the head trainers names Alyssa Bates. I was informed that she now runs the gym and I was interested in finding out more about personal training as I take my health and fitness very seriously. She advertises that she is certified but through email she confessed she has not been up to date. I asked nicely for proof of certification and she has not wrote me back as she was so eager to before I asked. I am trying to figure out why you all allow personal trainers to not be certified as that is a major safety issue. It has also been brought to my attention as I have done more digging that the business itself is not up to date on a business license. Thank you. I hope you address these issues further.

I was a member of snap fitness for years, the gym closed suddenly. We were told it was suppose to reopen. That was last April. I never received any other contact from snap fitness. But heard on the news they were not reopening. I had my membership prepaid, I had purchased personal training and I have a gift certificate to snap. I have emailed and called corporate. No one responds!
