I was sold solar panels from South Plains Solar in January 2023. I was promised many different things: no energy bill, 30 year warranty, and low cost on my payments because I would get 30% back the following tax year. I found out the it is a tax credit not money you get back, so my bill is over $300 monthly on top of an electric bill I still have. I also have a leak from where it was installed and found out from the warranty company South Plains Solar never paid for the warranty or registered my unit. So, I have no warranty as I am supposed to per my contract. This company has lied and ripped my off. I am beside myself because of how horrible this company is.
Desired outcome: I want South Plains Solar to take the panels back and lay the financing due to breach of contract. In my contract it states I will have a 30 warranty. However, South Plains Solar never paid or registered my unit.

Contact South Plains Solar’s highest management and demand they honor their commitments and resolve these issues. Make it clear that their deceptive practices are unacceptable and that you won’t back down until they make it right. If they continue to ignore you, consider taking legal action and sharing your experience publicly to hold them accountable. Don’t let them get away with this — stand firm and fight for what you deserve.
