Literally had car for a week after putting $1,200 down. I come outside work and it’s gone. They called me the day before saying insurance needs to be adjusted, which I did. When I come down to the dealership, they say I have to pay $300 for them towing it, when it shouldn’t have been taken in the first place. I would not recommend this place at all. Like, I literally haven’t even made the first car payment. I WANT THEM TO COMMENT, so you guys can debate this issue publicly. No voicemail or any communication even letting me know they took the car from 5/5-5/13. When asked about the down payment, I was told you don’t get that back since we repoed the car. And check engine light came on after 2 days, transmission starting slipping 3rd day, but hey, I’ll get it fixed, right? Should've known after the first car I chose started smoking after the test drive. I GOT CAR TOWED WITHOUT MISSING A PAYMENT, WITH VALID INSURANCE, VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE, AND MORE THAN REQUIRED INCOME. HOW? They are literally waiting to.

On March 25, I bought a 2011 Gold Chevy Impala from Southside Auto. The car had been repossessed and was in the possession of Southside Auto. Recently, I received an invoice from them stating that I owe a tow bill, which is dated January 6. The vehicle in the photo on the invoice does not match the color of the car I purchased. I tried to contact Southside Auto and spoke to a lady who hung up on me and said it wasn't their problem. I called multiple times but got no answer. My associate spoke with a salesperson who claimed to be out of the office and brushed her off, refusing to resolve the issue. I am requesting an investigation into this matter and for Southside Auto to address and resolve this issue. I am also concerned that someone is driving a vehicle with tags registered in my name, which was sold to them by Southside Auto. I have the invoice number and the VIN number of the car I purchased. I have supporting documents, but I'm not sure how to upload them.

I'm currently renting to own a car through Southside Auto Sales. When I got the car, nobody told me that a worker from Southside Auto Sale had stripped the oil filter. They assured me that I didn't need an oil change or new brakes. I checked the oil and it looked clean. One of the workers, let's call him ***, said he drove my van home while his car was being fixed. *** insisted that everything was brand new, including the total tune-up, oil change, and brakes. The car is a 2010 Honda Odyssey.
Two months later, I took it to *** to get new tires and an oil change. They told me they couldn't do the oil change because there was a plug in the oil pan. I decided to get a second opinion and took it to *** Tires. We were going out of town and I needed the oil change. *** Tires showed me the plug and gave me a quote to fix it, which was around $500 for a new oil pan and labor. I informed Southside Auto Sales about the issue. The owner, let's call him ***, told me to pay for it and he would do it for free. He made this offer of his own accord.
After two months of promising to fix it, all he did was an oil change. Then he activated the starter interrupter or GPS kill switch that was rigged up to my car. It has been on for about 3 months now. I'm currently up to date on my payments, but the starter won't work because of that device. I have already paid about $4000 and he wants $8000 for the car. If I miss a payment, nobody will want to help me. If I keep paying, I'm just losing my money and nobody will assist me. Please help me resolve this issue with Southside Auto Sales 2.

I bought a 2009 Dodge Journey for $6000 and an extra $382 for taxes and title. I already have a license plate and tags up to date that I’m pretty sure they charged me extra for a new one. I was promised on the bill of sale that my windshield wipers and their functions, like squirting cleaner, would be fixed. They also said they would fix the locks and make them work because the doors won’t lock or unlock, and the key lock doesn't work. They also promised to fix my AC. They apologized for not checking it because it was cold outside and said they would get it fixed. They also promised to fix anything wrong with the motor, transmission, or electrical within 30 days. However, the car is giving me problems starting, and I've been to the shop at least 7 times. They turned me away 6 times, giving excuses that they wouldn't work on it. The one time they looked at it, it took them 3 hours to tell me that their fuses keep blowing out. Now I have to take it to another shop that deals with electric in the doors. I called that shop, and they told me I have to leave my car there for more than a day. Actually, it was days, the guy told me, and that was never mentioned before I bought the car. I live in another state, and I've traveled there at least 7 times. They were supposed to fix the locks, but now I'm being told that someone else has to do it, and I have to be without a vehicle for more than a day. That's not going to work. Then, two days ago, on Friday and Saturday, I was told to come in on Monday at 10 am. They said they would hook it up to the AC machine to see what's wrong and fix it. So, I came in today, Monday at 10 am, and the woman at the front desk said the machine is broken. It won't be looked at until over a month in April. I called and talked to the owner, Rob, and he told me he won't fix it if it's broken. He might put Freon in it in a few weeks. These people aren't willing to do anything they told me they would. I want a refund.
