speedy good to go breakfast sandwich
Bacon egg and cheese croissant... Bacon on sandwich was not cooked at all and when I returned it inside I wasn't treated as a paying customer but I was threatened and cashier was very rude and unprofessional as was the male employee. Once I started to video the male employee said he would personally go in the back to make me a sandwich right after telling me that these breakfast sandwiches came pre ~made. So I told him that I would perfer one from the refrigerated section and he insisted on making me one himself. While he was in back of store doing whatever to my sandwich the cashier was threatening me that she was going to smack my phone out of my hand if I didn't stop recording. When the male employee finally returned the sandwich looked as if out of a magazine... Just a little to nice to know if he did something to it. So yes I am very dissatisfied with Speedway store #4340 on Cane Run in Louisville, KY and am contacting an attorney plus having the sandwhich tested. * Photos and video on hand if needed. But I feel as though both employees should be terminated from the Speedway store inc.

I've been a long term customer even when it was Hess I've seen at least 5 managers over the last couple of years and employees come and go I went in to visit the Hudson location on green street and noticed that very nice sales girl Tia isn't there please tell me that she still works for the company she's friendly smart she knows more about the store and products then the managers she helps my mom whom is 85 Years old very pleasant and out going she is the best associate between 5 locations that I have visited please bring her back I come to Hudson to visit her and my mother she is a great asset to the company your feeling down she lifts u up always clean and fresh coffee there are thousands of customers that feel the same as I please bring her back or you'll lose business

Everyone in this store is friendly nice with the exception of one lady a heavy set blonde younger girl never smiles always rude I an a daily customer and will not shop there when this lady is there I will drive 20 mikes to Conway to shop this lady is in the wrong business she is definitely not customer service friendly

I went to Speedway by My work and I was overcharged by about 3 dollars. I bought 2 packs of smokes and I had a cupon for one of them it was a pack of American spirit for $3. I look on my bank statement and I was charged over $12. One pack was $6 and the other should have been $3. So that's $9 I was charged $12. Can you fix this because I shop at speedway EVERYDAY, so I trusted the cashier to charge me the right price. I either want my $3 back or a free pack of cigarettes. Please email me or call me. poorly run store
My complaint spans over the past couple of months, as new employees, including management have come to this store.
Your location at 34750 Woodward Avenue in Birmingham, MI has rapidly declined in customer service and general inattentiveness within the store. I will put in bullet points as it can go on forever.
1. 12 coffee pots - 5 with water and burners turned off/ 7 with not enough coffee to pour a full cup. (Common occurrence). I've had to ask more times than I care to, to make more coffee.
2. Longer lines than ever due to lack of open registers or slow moving employees. One of your female managers was outside smoking more than inside working.
3. Liquid creamer often out. (I shouldn't be the one bringing it to their attention as often as I seem to have to.)
4. Employees not familiar with products, promotions nor seem to care to find the information for the customer. (Manager said he didn't know and to call the toll-free number.)
5. Must ask for rewards slips almost every time.
6. Staff seems complacent; clearly showing no enthusiasm for the job.
I frequent this store 1 - 3 times daily, as I work across the street. Once your manager left a year ago, there has been such over-turn in employees. I'm not sure if its lack of training (shame on the company) or just hiring people to get bodies in. In any case, neither seems to be working. Two of your best employees left (I only wish I could recall their names), and Alex, the best employee still there, is out with an injury as I understand it, and it has been declining ever since.
I understand that is it a job at a convenience store/gas station. While I am not minimizing the relevance of your company, I realize your employees are probably not there to make a career out of this business. But, as with ANY job, there should be a certain level of ability, attentiveness, and common sense in a customer service based store.
For the record, I'm not an uptight wealthy Birmingham resident. I only work in the area. I don't expect more than what is the basic level of customer service and attentiveness to a moderate level for your customers.
I realize I have a choice where I spend my money. I continue to patronize this location due to its close proximity to my work. Otherwise, I might be inclined to go elsewhere.
I trust you will look in to the problems of this location (I can't imagine you haven't heard other complaints lately).
unauthorized credit card charges
Went to Speedway in Kenosha WI at 1:53 pm Sunday after noon for $30 in unleaded gasoline and a pack of camel 99's in a box for $7.26. The women behind the counter said it was $37 and some change, but the bank notification I received was for $44.16. When I went back to check the receipt, it wasn't even a receipt it was a speedy rewards print out. The woman behind the counter handed this to my like it was a receipt but it wasn't. This company stole from me
customer service
The lady who works late at night is so rude! She makes us wait at the counter and acts like we are a nuisance as customers. She also says the lottery is shut down for the night and its only 11pm. I know better having worked at a similar place. She just seems to care less about the customers and is aggravated that she has to stop what she's doing to check us out. This isn't the first time it's happened with this particular lady. But, I've started going somewhere else because of her. Even though I prefer Speedway, it's just not worth dealing with that angry little old toothless lady!
selling of cigarettes
I went into a speedway on 83rd and lemont road in Darien to purchase cigarettes I provided identification an issued Id but it states not valid for identification however I had other documentation to show her and she would not except anything.. I had never had problems with this Id at any other gas stations! My girlfriend smokes the same cigarettes and wanted to buy the same brand however when she asked to purchase it she declined her as well even tho she had a Illinois drivers license! We are unhappy of the service she provided us!

I am writing this to make it aware of the actions of an employee who works in Point Pleasant, WV. I am a loyal customer at my local speedway, but lately I have stopped shopping there less and less. I typically visit speedway around 7 P.M. - 11:00 P.M. The past 7 or so times I have visited, I have been waited on by an intoxicated employee. The first time I wasn't sure if he was actually under the influence, so I didn't say much, but after about 4 more times of being waited on by this employee, it was clear that he was very intoxicated. Every time that I go into the store and this employee is working, I smell alcohol on him, have to wait around for him to correctly ring up my items, recount my money, and try to make sense of what he says. On about two occasions, this employee was so intoxicated that he could barely stand up. I have contacted the store and complained to other employees about his behavior but I see that he still works there and his behavior has not changed. Last night I decided to visit speedway to purchase a drink around 10 pm. I was waited on by this employee. His words were slurred, he reeked of alcohol, his eyes were bloodshot and he seemed as if he was having a hard time standing up. He swayed back and forth as he counted my change back and barley made sense. This is the last time that I am going to spend my money at speedway. I find it a true disgrace that your company would allow such behavior to take place. Out of all of the times that I have seen this employee this way, it has to be noticed by other customer's as well. The fact that I have complained about this already and nothing has been done simply outrageous me. In fact, your company should be embarrassed by this type of behavior. I should not have to shop at a gas station and be waited on by someone who is drunk.

The girl that sold me cigarettes today Aug 7th at about 6 o'clock at the main st. And Brice road location was very rude when I asked her if I could get a different pack of Marlboros bc she had got the wrong ones and cashed me out for them before I could notice. When I asked she said no she couldn't do it the proceeded to ignore my questions of why she couldn't do it and just kept saying there was nothing she could do. The guys working with her was nice about and kept his cool and his voice down but she did not. She would just interrupt me and him by saying again that she wasn't gonna allow it . I'm in this location a lot and buy cigarettes and gas almost every day and some times shes working and has a attitude and some days she doesn't. I do not appreciate being treated like this at all and will quit going to that one bc of her.
overcharging
I was at speedway 7176 earlier today to get gas, that was all I had purchased. The total came out to a little over $26. When checking my bank statements today, I noticed my account was charged $48. When calling customer service, I was hung up on. Is there any explanation as to why my card was charged almost double for that one transaction & how I can get my money back?

Where do I start? I go to two of your store on a daily basis Franklin New Jersey and butler New Jersey the butler store is excellent no problems at all wish the Franklin store was like that. The Starbucks coffee frapacinos don't get restocked for a week sometimes 2 weeks the shelf will be empty you can see the full cases in the fridge but no one restocked the shelfs ever
Also the girl who works behind the counter always has her boyfriend/husband hanging out inside the store making you feel very uncomfortable. He stands there and postures himself in a threatening way makes comments he is a very jealous person and I feel it's just a matter of time before someone gets hurt. But my main complaint is the fact that no one restocked the shelves and you can see the product sitting there in the walkin refrigerator. This is not a one time thing it is almost every week. If you look at my speedway card you will see that I buy Starbucks frapaccino coffee drinks almost every day I almost always buy the coffee flavor unless it's not on the shelf I will settle on mocha please take care of your lazy employees because I'm so sick of that.

I stopped to fill up my tank before heading into work around 9:30 a.m on Monday, July 31st. The cashier was a man at the counter, and I purchased a coffee and told him to put the rest on my pump for gas. I gave him $30.00. I went to pump my gas, but it stopped at $17. 00. I went back in to let the cashier know, but he responded that I only gave him $20.00. I corrected him and said I gave him $30.00, but he continued to disagree and said it was $20.00. There was a line behind me and I didn't want to continue to argue with the cashier, but it really upset me because I know how much I gave him because I wanted to fill my tank. I am a frequent customer, and have never had any problems until now. I don't know if the cashier pocketed the extra $10.00, or wasn't paying attention to what I gave him. bag of almonds not scanning in system/ cashier response
Today 7/28/2017 I stopped in at speedway on 2021 Murfreesboro road/ corner to Franklin Limestone Rd. in Nashville to get my after work snacks ( approximately 3:45). One of my favorite products you sell is a big bag of roasted almonds(Marked $3.99). Every Time I have tried to buy these, the register will not scan them. This morning was no different. Usually the cashier will ask someone what to do and get a puzzled look and they will grab another product and scan it to sell it to me.
This morning I was looking forward to my snack because I was particularly hungry and I came to the counter with several items to purchase. When the almonds wouldn't scan the new guy behind the counter asked the girl running the deli section what to do. She tried a similar product priced the same and when it didn't scan either, she decided the answer was that they weren't supposed to sell those. (I guess she thought the almonds were for display purposes only). I'll tell you I don't like going in this store much because of the atmosphere created by some of the employees and this stupid employee is a great example. If items don't scan, don't you teach your employees how to ring them up as marked or what the procedure to get them entered into the system would entail? There are many places to shop in the area and it might just be worth my while to start going out of my way a little bit to get better customer service.

Location at 4775 Cornell Road 45241 every time I get gas there the receipt paper never works and every time I have to go in and get the receipt paper I have to stand in line there's never enough people at the registers and they keep saying all they don't work half the time the main reason why we pay at the pump so we don't have to go in it's getting old my company that I work for our service Vans fill out there a lot I have worked for gas station and mash the gas station one of them are compliances was we had to have working gas pumps with receipt paper maybe that's something you guys need to evaluate your stores on Plus on top of those pumps bird set up on top of them and s*** down the whole front of the of the pump and on the gas pump handles
accused of stealing
Hi I was in the speedway in Sanford, NC on 7/22/2017 around 5:30pm and I exercised my free refill on a fountain drink (had my own cup from a previous visit). Later in the day I sent my husband to get us another refill (he used to work there) around 9:45pm. When he entered the cashier (named Crystal) accused him and I of stealing drinks earlier in the day. I had on grey shorts and a blue shirt and wear glasses. She told him a little girl got out of our car (silver durango) earlier with a purple shirt and no glasses and stole the fountain drinks. He came back and got me and I asked her was there a problem. She said no but then proceeded (in not so many words) to call us liars. I proceeded to get the refill and asked her for her name and managers number. I have called the manager and left a message and am in hopes this woman will be fired for false accusations. I even asked her to look at the tape and she could see that we did not do what she is accusing us of. The woman (Crystal) was very unprofessional and was even on a cell phone as we were talking to her. Honestly, I did fuss her out because I was upset. There were other customers in the building and it was embarrassing. Even before, during and after my husband worked there we were frequent customers. I would like for corporate to do something about this to see some changes in this store. If not I would like to file a lawsuit against this store, company, manager and that employee. I have already spoken to a lawyer and am ready to do what is needed if nothing is done about this. Thanks

store cleanliness
The Yorkville store is a mess. There weren't any cups for the fountain pop. The bathroom had toilet paper all over the floor but none on the roll. The beer I wanted wasn't stocked and I had to ask an employee to go in the cooler to get what I was looking for. The speedy freeze machine works very rarely. I'm not really sure how the store is still getting business especially with the horrible management as well!
Today I went into Speedway in Yorkville. I was told by Amy (store manager) "I would appreciate it if you guys would quit talking [censor] about me to my customers." For one I can talk to whom ever I want, and two I have more important things to worry about than some horrible manager. I guess it's not only okay for her to swear at her employees but it's also okay for her to swear when talking to customers. What a horrible place to work and shop!
unprofessional supervisor
I'm a regular customer at the Speedway over by Midland High school in Midland MI. They've always had a rather high turn over rate for employees, but thought nothing of it until today. I was in there, and they've a nice young (really tall) man that started I'd say about a month ago. He's always polite and helpful and is always offering items to help bolster my speedway points.
Anyhow, the store was rather busy today and the woman he was working with (whom I've heard is his supervisor) did nothing but complain and make derogatory remarks while this young man was trying to service a line of customers. This young man has a rather large line of people he was trying to assist and yet she was berating him for helping us instead of getting food on the grill - along with other snide comments.
She was a nightmare! I'm half tempted to tell that boy to come put an application in over at my restaurant - I could use a nice, motivated polite employee like that.
not changing prices on sign
I have been a loyal rewards customer of Speedway for years. But I was very disheartened by the service I received with my last visit.
On July 5th, 2017 around 11:30a.m., I pulled into Speedway on 3625 S. Cedar St. in Lansing, MI to fill up my tank. The cost of the gas was posted as 2.14/gallon so as I began to fill up gas, great price, then I overheard a lady complaining about the gas being 2.49/gallon. Then I stopped filling gas, totaled out my sale, and found that she was correct. I filled up 1.016 gallons of gas and noticed it was showing 2.49/ gallon. I also went inside just like that lady to complain about being charged too much. They told her the sign said 2.49/gallon. Well of course it did now but it wasn't when when we filled up gas. Very upsetting. I left without filling up my tank. I saw that cheating their customers meant more to them then honoring the price they had posted.
Understandably, prices do need to change, however, it should not be at the expense of the customer. Maybe if they change the price before they do at the gas tanks, they can prevent this unfortunate situation from happening and losing their faithful customers because of such poor service.
I would be grateful if I could just fill up my tank at that price that was posted, which is what should have happened in the first place. Nothing more or nothing less, especially after such an inconvenience.

I was in the Springfield Ohio speedway on Burnett Rd, July 4th looking for beer. I opened the beer cooler and was met with a male employee yelling "what do you want". I promptly said nothing from here and went to the Valero down the street. Please let your employees know that a little customer service goes a long way. It's way too easy to pick up and go somewhere else for the same item.

It's 7:00 a.m. here in Portsmouth Ohio and the local speedway store should have delicious breakfast ready. this is prime hour for breakfast but no instead I get this stuff it looks like dog s*** like there was no effort in making it it's a good thing that I put the breakfast into a large cup and just said it was a cup of ice or else I would have been really pissed. IDK maybe the worker who made this s*** was blind and they just hired him because they employed the handicap
