They took my application fee even tho they knew someone else had already signed the lease to the property
They took my application fee even tho they knew someone else had already signed the lease to the property. Also I called three times from my number no one answered, them called private and someone picked right up. I hate that this company have all of my personal information and I was scammed out of $35 for a application fee.

Date of transaction was on 7/12
Date of transaction was on 7/12. The payment was posted to St. Louis Leasing Account on 07/09 in the amount of $1424.00 Main Street Leasing purchase the property on 06/15. We did not rec've their letter until 7/12. St. Louis Leasing records show that my dep of $1000.00 was turned over to Main Street Leasing on 06/17. So they knew the payment didn't belong to them, but they took it and never informed us. I have been trying to get them to turned the money over to Main Street Leasing and no one is replying to my email, telephone calls or text messages.

This company scammed me out of $50 for an application fee and never called me back and I left dozens of messages with no response back. I never got my money back even after requesting via voicemails for a refund of my $50.00...this company is making hundreds of dollars off people seeking housing and this is horrible during a time when people need money the most.
My lease was up October 1st song October first I was expecting an email regarding renewing lease I did not see one Sone the furthering days I went further through my emails and found it it was title Administration there was no title about renewing lease or signing lease or their company name Saint Louis leasing Co so I missed the email I did not receive a phone call I text message I did not receive a copy of it in the mail now they are putting on a month-to-month basis and raising the rent $100 also raisd sewer bill
We filled out an application seven days ago. The company said we would get our decision in 72 hours. First they denied me for a house that was 1400/month saying I don't make enough but I've made $107k already this year and then they said send us more paycheck stubs. I sent the stubs and haven't heard a thing since. I'm afraid that this company is a scam and only wanted to get my information. I either want a fair decision on my application or my money back.
There has been issues with the plumbing and the smell of gas
There has been issues with the plumbing and the smell of gas. 2 weeks after I was in there, I smelled gas. The gas company told me they should have sealed the stove. The sewer backed up. I bought a washer and dryer and it had problems due to the plumbing. For 2 weeks, I have not been able to use my stove due to the gas I was smelling. The gas company had to shut it off. The maintenance person was supposed to change a valve and they haven't been out to check. I have been having headaches and my doctors feel it is because of the gas smell. They have not done anything about it. I have reached out to them several times. They seem not to show any concern for my health.

Before moving in here we talked to the management people about the lack of running water and the broken A/C. They said it would be fixed by the time I moved in, but I have moved in and these things have not been fixed. I have not been able to clean anything, cook anything or use the bathroom. I have called them every day and they just don't respond.
I applied to a rental home on 8/2, paid two application fees in the amount of $85. I have called multiple times to get an update on my application and no one answers the phone. I have tried emailing and I have left messages. They have not even ran my application yet. I have left in a message to cancel my application and refund me my money. I have already been approved for a home. Any help would be great.
After getting into the house we noticed that the dishwasher did not work
After getting into the house we noticed that the dishwasher did not work. A vendor did come out twice and we have yet to hear back from them regarding this. Also the house reeks of sewage smell and fumes and my wife and son are getting sick from this. Again, a vendor came out and recommended some things and we have yet to hear back from them. I'm not sure how they conduct business but I do know this is not the way. My family is getting sick and they have been made aware of this and they have not responded. We have no choice but to seek help regarding this matter. Despite being mislead about the fireplace and refrigerator (that can make water and ice) not working we love the house. We would like for them to fix or replace the dishwasher and come up with a solution regarding the sewage smell and fumes.

I am in the process of trying to find a larger home for my family to move to
I am in the process of trying to find a larger home for my family to move to. During this time I came across the property *** listed by St. Louis Leasing Co. The same day the property was listed I went to tour the home and decided we liked it enough to apply. I completed an application shortly after paying the $50 application fee and $35 co applicant for my boyfriend on 08/10. I reached out via phone, text and email to try and check on on status of application and was told I would receive an email update. I have yet to receive an email update and have not been able to make successful contact with anyone from this establishment. At this point I just want all fee's refunded I no longer wish to do any business with this company due to lack of communication and professionalism.

I have been dealing STLRTO which changed their name to SAINT LOUIS LEASING since 2018. In the begin I really wanted to purchase my home from them but after the way I have been treated I have found that this company is horrible, irresponsible& it's only concern is payment. They want to put all the repairs on the tenant. I have had several notice during the pandemic to vacate because I paid money for hotel & service that were the owners issue due to a broken main drain outside their is feces & other sewage coming up on my home. I am unable to run the water and though I notified them first it to the city of Ferguson to tell them they couldn't have me deal with this due to it being an owner issue & legally I couldn't get the help if I wasn't. Saint Louis Leasing sti want me to pay full rent though I can't live in the home since March 30. I try explaining & have no luck. I should I recognize the signs in the begin that's my mistake too when I wasn't here 3 months & the ceiling caved in, or the electric not working in some parts(their tech well it's an old house), a tree damaging my vehicle in the driveway their response "that's not our problem sorry". Yes I have renter's insurance however they said legally it is their problem. I'm charged late fees for late rent when they lose my check & wouldn't respond to my calls about it for weeks at a time. Their attorney promises to credit them during court but I never got any credit. I paid as agreed then signed by the judge, still received vacate notice they said "maybe your paperwork from the judge was late"from court on 2/11, notice date 3/16, posted 3/24. I don't understand. This company is not a professional or law compliant company and the owner has not tried reaching out to assist either but I'm sure none of them live like this and paying $1,350.00 per month to shower at hotels or family homes, hold frequent need for the restroom, and remove your kids for health & inability with their house. Please help me warn others and get the help I need.Thanx
I viewed a house for rent i was interested in. They told me the move in date could be june 11. I agreed to this. Then after paying the 975 deposit, he told me he couldnt guarantee me a move in date. I requested a return of said deposit. He said he would refund me. Said would take 3-5 days to be refunded. Now has been 10 days and they wont answer or return my calls emails or texts. I need my money back. Ive sonce found a legitimate leasing company rjk which i am renting from.

On May 11th my husband and I applied for a rental property through St Louis leasing co, we paid $85 in application fees and were told we would have a response in 24-48 hours. After a week of no response I tried reaching out by calling and emailing with no response, finally I got a response through Facebook messenger and was told it would be ready in the early part of the following week, then yet at the end of the week no response. I went to their office and unsurprisingly no one was there, a receptionist emailed and requested they contact me. I then talked with one of their staff who said they would start processing my application and I would have an answer in 72 hours. I waited till after the 72 hours to reach out and still no response. I believe they are scamming people to collect application fees, and want my money back.

There was a fire at my home due to neighbors fireworks
There was a fire at my home due to neighbors fireworks.the house was uninhabitable from 7/5-9/7.l due to the electrical panel being burned up. I have repeatedly told the management company this was caused at no fault of my own. It has taken them 2 months to get the property repaired and the window still has not been fixed. I have not received a phone call from this company since 7/5. I have sent numerous messages, emails and made several calls to discuss the prorated rent from July 5 through 9/7 and the company still has not reached out to me and now I have receiving threatening letters to vacate the property. The occupancy permit to the home was revoked due to the hone having 0 power, in which the final inspection was completed 8/30.I also have a record of all text messages sent to this company showing they only request rent and no one tries to address this issue

On 05/14 my boyfriend and I went to view multiple homes to rent some from Saint Louis Leasing Co
On 05/14 my boyfriend and I went to view multiple homes to rent some from Saint Louis Leasing Co. We ended up finding a house we liked and wanted to apply. I had to pay $50 and he paid $35, this can be proved in bank transaction records. We received an email saying we would hear back in 24-48 hours and nothing. We called four different numbers all going to the same voicemail to a Ron. We showed up to two locations listed as an address and were told no one was in the office, we did this 3 different times and days. We were given a number to call/text and within 8 hours received an email saying the house we applied to was not longer for rent. This place is so unprofessional, you put in an app and no one even talks to you. You cant even put your app fee toward another property. At this point, we just want our app money back. This is the worst management service i've ever experienced. I have a near perfect credit score and his is in the mid 600s, there was no reason for all of this.

I reside at one of Saint Louis Leasing co properties
I reside at one of Saint Louis Leasing co properties. When I moved in I started to notice some issues. I reached out to Saint Louis Leasing Co and they told me to submit the issues, along with picture In the property meld, so I did. All they did was canceled each one of my issues. I got St. Louis county code enforcer involved, they came out and noticed all of the health issues too. They suggested I send the company a certified letter stating the issues and tell them that they will be receiving a letter from their office giving them 30 days to fix the issues. After the 30 days the inspector came back out and noticed nothing was done, they tried calling, emailing, and texting Saint Louis Leasing Co but did not get a response, so they suggested I get some legal help. After the inspector tried reaching out to Saint Louis Leasing Co, the way i receive emails from them change, at first it use to show their company logo or the first letter of the person sending the mail. Now it show a stop sign with a question mark inside. Here are some of my issues; Crack in the foundation that extend from the ceiling to the floor and leave puddles of water in my basement when it rain (its coming in by an outlet), a gap under my front and back door big enough for mice to run in, kitchen sink and my bathroom shower leak because the pipes too little, every window in the house are so old they won't open and let in alot of air. The front door is so unstable a hard push my door will open. When I got home on 1/12, I notice my lock on the door was laying on the ground, come to find out Saint Louis Leasing Co, came in my house fid an inspection, changed my locks now i cant go in and out the front door because they put the doorknob kn wrong smh. My kids can't spend a night because I think its mold in the wall and we all have asthma. I would have been moved but I can not afford to.

My sister and I moved into our new home on March the 19th of 2020
My sister and I moved into our new home on March the 19th of 2020. During the first couple of days we noticed a lot of problems we missed when we were checking the house out. In order to make a request for something to be fixed you need to go to a website called ***. Because of the virus they said that they were prioritizing some orders and if the problem was small they weren't fixing it. Our bath tub floor wasn't glazed so when we took showers the paint would peel of on our feet. We filed a complaint and request for the tube to be fixed. They sent someone over, they looked at the tub and said they needed to get an item to fix the problem. Then they left and didn't return. This has happened multiple times with the bath tub. The next issue that came up was our backyard fence. We have dogs. At first they were fine in the back yard. But they found a way to get out. We contacted St. Louis Leasing Co. For a ***. Set up an appointment and everything only to be told that "The house is as is.". They said we needed to fix the gate ourselves. The only problem is that the virus had just hit our area bad. We didn't have money for that. We had paid our rent with the money we did have before everything got bad. Our jobs are closed. We can't make any money for rent or maintenance. Then one of our dogs found another hole in the fence and ran away the second week of April. We couldn't find him anywhere. We contacted them and told them what happened and they said that they would fix the fence. After our dog ran away. But again, a person came to look at everything said they needed a part and never returned. We told the company that this was happening over and over again. None of our complaints were being fixed. Now summer comes around. It get's very hot in St Louis. Our AC didn't work. We sent in a complaint and made a scheduled appointment. They showed up said they needed a part and never returned. It's burning up and we have dogs. So we're putting them in the garage. But It's still hot. We watch them while they are in the backyard so they don't go out the fence. For two weeks we had no AC. We send in another request and someone shows up again. As soon as they step in the door they could feel the heat. It was hotter in the house then outside(98F). He looks for the problem and finds it. The AC was very dirty and needed Anti-Freeze. He cleans it and fills it. The AC started to work. This is the only time someone has actually fixed anything besides a clogged toilet. Now it's June. It's been raining nonstop. All the rain has worn down what was left of the fence's strength. My sister and I are now finally able to work. We work 12 hour night shifts at a warehouse 6pm to 6am . Then my sister's car broke down we had to get loans and borrow money to get it fixed so we could even work. We really needed to work because we had just received a letter from the St. Louis Leasing Co. saying that we had a 30 day notice to pay off all of the rent we weren't able to pay because of the virus. Today I came back from work and feed the dogs. I opened the garage door connected to our backyard so they can relieve themselves. I was just going to have them outside for a couple of minutes, but I feel asleep because of the night shift. My sister was home but she was in a lot of pain because her wisdom tooth was growing in, so she was getting what little sleep she could. Next thing I know. I'm being woken up by knocking at our door. Our door still has a lock box on it because no one has come to take it off. So they would have thought our house was vacant if it wasn't for my sister's car in the driveway. It's the Animal Control. They had our dogs in kennels on their trucks. They said that the dogs had been running around outside our fence for hours and someone called. Our dogs have gotten out before( because of the fence) but we were always there to get them. They give us $500 worth of fines. We will not be able to pay these fines in a timely manner. This would never have happened if they had fixed the fence like they said they would. We still have other things they have not fixed at all. And many bills.
