being currency chest branch they are not recieving non issuable notes from us while they recieve from the agents infront of us. and on refusing them cashier says us to close our account.then we request to Manager Cash Mr A.K Gupta his reasponse was also same to close our account.

It is to inform you, that I, Rupesh Kumar Mishra has newly been employed at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya on 10 May 2010. Since salaries of all staff of this institute is being paid through SBI, Kurud hence I had applied for opening a saving bank account at SBI, Kurud. After completing all formalities, filled up form and got checked by Mr Chandel, Branch Manager, I handed over the same to Mr Goswami at SBI, Kurud, who had replied me that your account will be opened within two days. After two days when I went to Bank to approach Mr Goswami, he was not available in the Bank and Branch Manager, Mr Chandel told me that your account will be opened after one week. Even after one week when I went to SBI, Kurud, I got reply from them that your account will opened after two or three days. When I went yesterday to know the present status, Mr Goswami told me that your account will not be opened in this bank and you should take payment from your Single account which is already opened at SBI, Industrial Estate Urla (Raipur) and also said if you are having any problem on this subject you can do complaint against me and Branch Manager at any where.
Sir, I do not want to make complaint against them but their way of talking and attitude was very bad. However, it is also pertinent to mention that all the customers of SBI, Kurud are facing such type of behavior from the staff of SBI, Kurud. If I am wrong or negative approach person, then please carry out surprise check of the Bank. And if I am right then please take action against the employee. Your co-operation on the subject will be highly appreciated.

Dear Sir,
The following is the copy of the letter written to you, On 12th May 2008.
I write this letter to demand you the closure of my credit card account and cancelation of the same. This is because your office is now a center of fraud. Debiting late fee without any reason was the usual fraud and now started with new item i.e. making alterations in the check issued in your favour and presenting and encashing through clearing.
On the request of your Chennai office, I have issued a cheque for Rs.430/-
Dated 31-03-2008 towards full settlement of my credit card account.
On verification of my Bank account I found that the above said cheque bearing number 005578 presented for payment after alteration of the amount both in figures and words to read as Rs.1430/- and received payment.
(Copy of receipt no: [protected] for Rs. 430/- issued by your collecting agent of Trivandrum already forwarded to you with this letter of 12th May 2008.)
I never had such experience before . I lost all faith on your bank credit card and hence demand closure of the account. Your credit card already proved to be a burden for me since 2006 April, I was not using the card since June 2006. I was waiting for clearing all my genuine dues. They are over by February 2008 and hence demand the closure of the account.
So far, your office had debited me without reason delebrately every month with various amounts (Rs.336.72/- to Rs.674.16/-) and a total amount of Rs.5222.70/-. You have recovered from me Rs.3201.36/- including Rs.1430/- (check altered and collected amount) now I request you to refund me Rs. 3201.36/- by your demand draft drawn on Trivandrum .
( I have paid all the installments of the loan granted to me well before the due dates. And most of the installments you have over looked and debited my account with late fee. This is clear from your statement itself.)
Please verify your statements from January 2007 to February 2008

The protection plus insurance already cancelled in June 2007 wide my request letter as well as your statement. I also request you to pay back me the amount already remitted by me. ( That also comes nearly Rs.5000/- this also should be send by DD drawn on Trivandrum.)

1. Not executing instructions given regarding flexy pay account and demanding full payment of the amount of the bill immediately along with interest for the amount. On contacting your office to ask about that you suggest to pay less the bill amount, Immediately next month you collect processing charges to transfer the amount to flexy pay and claiming and debiting the late fee according to your will and pleasure without any reason. (This started in your credit card account since April 2006).
2. On writing letter to your office regarding late fee, two times you have recredited my account with that ( without any use – In the words of the officer (REFLECTION OF AN OBJECT IN A MIRROR NOT AVAILABLE FOR ANY PAYMENT ).
3. Terrorizing by demanding amount, twice of the same amount widrawn using credit card and debiting interest and late fee.
4. Concealing payment made and received by you even before the due date and imposing late fee. Please verify the statements of 2007.
5. Amount of late fee refunded taking back immediately without any reason.
6. Not adjusting any payment from late fee credited back to the card account.
7. Demanding check for closure of the account from Chennai office, Sending your agents to my home to collect the check and altering the check to the will and pleasure of the bank. And presenting for payment and through clearing.( Bank statement already submitted to your Trivandrum office)
I am sorry to say, a BANK like SBI – Being the biggest bank of India which has core banking is behaving like this ! IT IS SHAME !

Last month I have got scratch & won scheme card with my last month statement.. when I scratch it, I won polo watch.
I am very sorry to say that I have not received so far any watch, but two times my sbi card statement shows rs 499/- and rs 499/- enteries debited by you as a delivery charges and still no watch has been delivered to me.

Now, let me give you the entire story in brief
Have made a purchase of Rs. 25k & Dropped the Cheque in the SBI Branch however from you agency we realized that he was not cashed.
Agency person came to me & asked for the fresh cheque (Given ICICI Cheque - Howevevr there was a black color marked on the amount hence ICICI didn't acknowledged the Cheque &ask me to issue another Cheque)
Agency person called me for the same & ask for another Cheque finally i gave them another cheque & it got cleared. (That time they said that i needn't give any other amount)
They charged me interest, I called up the same Agency they did not acknowledge the call. (This case is going on from 2005-06)
Meanwhile one person from Agency called me & said you need to pay some small money to stop the Interest going then we could fight for the rest hence i paid that)
Still its happening the same.
I have the required receipts for the same.
Now, Agency is calling me & asking me to pay a big amount since i haven paid without the settlement letter.
They are talking not nice on the phone.

My name is Dilip Narayan Khaware, I have A/C in Jamtara Branch (JHARKHAND).

Adress(permanent):- R.L.S.Road, Near jagannath Mandir, B.Deoghar, JHARKHAND.
The problem is that, I tried to withdrawl Rs 600 from ATM (Badarpur,
New Delhi) on 27th april at 17:45, but I couldn't money due to some
technical problem of ATM, but money has been deducted from my A/C.
I have contact many times to customer care as well as sent e mail to

and I have also submit self sign application to the Branch Manager,
JAMTARA on 20th May 2009, 150 days has been passed but no action has
been taken from tat side.

1. I am Rajiv Kumar Misra r/o 89-B, Vatika, Suncity Vistaar, P.O/ PS Izzatnagat, Bareilly.
2. I availed a home loan for Rs 3 lac vide his account number [protected] in the month of July/ Aug 2004 from Izzatnagar branch of your bank. The said loan was contracted on the than prevailing floating rate of interest @ 8.25%pa.
3. I am regularly paying the EMIs since then as had been contracted. Mean while your branch has informed me of another option of interest rate (Fix) @ 9%pa and informed it to be more beneficial owing to the apprehension of the increase in floating rate of interest depending upon the then prevailing banking norms.
4. That relying upon the advice of the branch manager I applied to the fixed rate of interest @ 9% ie 0.75% higher rate compared to floating to floating rate of interest in the month of Nov 2004. I was charged Rs 8119/- as fee for conversion from floating rate (8.25%) of interest to Fix rate (9%) of interest. I paid the said fee in the hope that the new rate of interest shall remain Fixed (Constant) throughout remaining period irrespective of any change in bank interest rate.
Special to note that I paid such a huge amount of fee despite utter surprise and dismay that the fee is being charged even when my client is opting to pay higher rate of interest (8.25% to 9%).
5. During May 2006 I took a statement of this account from said branch and came to know that the bank has changed the rate of interest to 9.5%. I wrote the matter to AGM, Zonal Office, Bareilly & the interest rate was rectified and brought back to 9%. A letter of sorry feeling for inconvenience caused was received by my client from SBI’s zonal Office, SBI, Bareilly.
Again on 07th Nov 2008 the interest rate was changed from 9% to 9.25% and once again the rate was enhanced to 12.75% on 03rd Feb 2009. This was again changed to 12% on 18th Feb 2009. Whereas the SBI is claiming that it can change the interest rate every after two years.
6. I surprisingly and disappointedly received a letter in Nov/ Dev 2008 from the SBI’s zonal office, Bareilly mentioning that henceforth I would be charged the interest @ 12.75% pa with a rider that either my client should agree to the new rate of interest ie 12.75%pa else should pay the outstanding loan amount at once and quit banking with SBI.
7. I on enquiry from the bank was informed that the bank reserves the right to change and enhance the rate of interest every two years and I had agreed & signed an agreement to this effect.
8. Aggrieved by the said arbitrary action on the part of the bank I approached to almost all levels of the bank officials but to no avail.
9. Lastly I approached to the Chairman of State Bank of India who assured to redress the problem, but even after a lapse of almost seven month no action is taken to address the genuine problem of my client. As a result I am being charged at a rate of 12% instead of 9% as had been originally contracted upon.
10. That it is point to note that no bank is charging the rate of interest of 12% on housing loan, however a regular and old client of mine is being charged at the said rate. Over & above the Zonal office of SBI intimated that I had only one time option available for converting from floating to fix or vice versa.
11. In between when all the installments to affect this loan were being paid timely, the bank deducted an amount of approx. 1500/- from the S/B account of my client to insure the house. The bank did not feel the need to take consent from my client or even did not inform my client that his house is being insured.
In view of above this matter is submitted to you anticipating a justice full & appropriate action.
Ques 1. Does the bank inform / let its customer/ borrowers read the details of agreement before taking signature on agreement papers.
Ques 2. Is the charges of the bank for converting the rate of interest from floating to fix are genuine even when a borrower is opting to pay higher rate of interest.
Ques 3. If as per contract, bank reserves the right to change the rate every after two years, then why the change did not take place in Nov 2006.
Ques 4. If the changes were to be made after two years then why the changes in rate of interest were made in May 2006 which was reverted back when opposed. That is not all the change again took place thrice within three month in between Nov 2008 & Feb 2009. What about the contract which says that the changes shall be made once in two years.
Ques 5. Is the option given to borrowers for applying to convert interest rate in only once in whole of repayment period of the loan, whereas the bank reserves the right to change the rate every after two years? How can bank justify this? Who is claiming be customer friendly.
Ques 6. Does the bank has the right to transect the S/B account of a customer without his knowledge and even without informing him after the transaction is done.
Ques 7. Bank has insured the house of a borrower to safe guard its own interest. Why the installment is deducted from S/B account of my client, when client is paying his dues regularly and also has provided two guarantors to safe guard the interest of the bank. Why does bank need the guarantors than.
Ques 8. Is the bank so care less to its customers, that the matter taken up at all levels is not taken care of.
non receipt of requested atm card
I hold a Saving account with Sector 26, Personal banking branch (PBB) of State Bank of India. I was issued a Maestro debit card from the bank initially.
Since i keep transacting a lot online, I have been requesting for a Visa debit card since last 4 months through the branch but every time they send a new type of maestro card but not the one being requested for.
I have, at the moment, 3 Maestro cards but my problems remains the same. On top of it the response time is so long that one keeps waiting just to receive a 'not required' product, repeatedly.
Can this be taken care of?

Cheated by SBI in Education loan
I had taken an Education loan of Rs.2 laks from SBI in 2002 to pursue my engineering. The SBI manager told us that time as the policy is you have to pay the interest for 4 years during your study and then you have to pay the principal amount with in 5 years without interest as this was a shared loan of my father and myself. My father paid the interest for the first 4 years i.e. 2002 to 2005 till course complete.
Then we thought that we have to pay the principal of 2 Laks in next 5 years till 2010. We have not received any kind of acknowledgement from the bank also. In 2008 all of sudden the block my father's SBI salary account which is in a different branch. When he ask to the branch they told that it has been blocked by the other branch due to non payment of education loan. We went to that branch and ask about the issue. And all of the sudden we had a great shock when we heard that the principal amount has increased to Rs. 3 laks 20 thousands due to non payment of loan. We told them about the policy what has been told to us but they told that it was a mistake by the loan officer that time and he is not in that branch now.
And since than they are deducting 3K each month from my father's account for interest so that the principal would not increase.
I dont know how can i bank charge interest for 3 years without informing the borrower about the non payment of monthy EMI, as the policy what ever they showed us, it is clearly mentioed that the loan will be repaied as monthy EMI after the completion of the course. But for 3 years i had not get any kind of alarm/letter from the bank regarding the nonpayment.
Please suggest me what i can do now.

I have started getting phone calls from some lady at SBI (Phone Nos. 022 - [protected] / 022 - [protected]) stating that some of her client by the name Mr. Sunil Mishra has defaulted on the SBI credit card that he is holding and is not making the payment and because he has given my reference while applying for the credit card I should be calling him and ask him to make the payment.
My question to the concerned authorities at SBI Credit Card is that why should I make this call and why should I be penalised for no fault of mines, just because some jerk has given my reference.
Also I wish to ask the concerned authorities that while processing the credit card application no body had called me for the reference check then why should anyone call me and disturb me now, because had any one called me then I would not have given a positive reply for this person as I myself hardly know this person.
My request to SBI Credit Card is that stop making such unsolicited calls and bothering people for no fault of theirs.

I have applied sbi credit card in the month of may'06. I did not received the card till August06.Later i changed my job location and my neighbour informed me that my card came and went back through courrier.
In between some of the insurance people called me for SBI credit card insurance and i have not accepted that one.
Till now i did not received my card but they are generating the bills for undelivered credit card in the name of insurane.I wrote many mails to sbi cards but there is no response.
Is it right to generate bills for undelivered SBI Credit Card?

I am having this same issue and i find that these people just know how to squeez out money even for service not done but they have no responsibility to check if they really did a service to the customer. I am also facing the same issue and like lost i am. I have not even seen the card but statements are coming regularly and irregularly. I cant even open the card statement as it password locked with the card number and as i have not got the card i dont have the number to open it. No body responds from their department. RBI seems to be helpless in front of these blood sucking leaches. Hope we will have to find another corner in this world to help ourselves survive from these corrupt organizations which is running their business on a land where law is for the rich and powerful only. We are all prey's for them.
money not debited but dedected
I have an account in azamgarh branch name of ashok singh I have debited a sum of money on 2/04/09 (8000) from h. d. f. c hazratganj lucknow I have complaint in my branch several times manager always tells that have patiens it will come back soon but now I am fed of this to listen plaese if possible get my money back into the account

I have a SB account with SBI-ABBANKI Branch, PRAKASAM DISTRICT ANDHRA PRADESH. I used SBI atm card in Canara bank machines in HEBBAL, Bangalore on 10TH JUNE, 2011
around 1.35 PM to retrieve an amount of Rs.4000/-. them it showing " your transaction being time out".but i did not get the money from that ATM., but the amount of Rs.4000 has been debited from my
account.I GAVE THE COMPLAINT AT 22nd june.my ticket no AT42961674948. my transaction number 8552 which i told u as i lost the money from canara bank atm.my cell no.[protected]

machines in Sec-10, Shiwagi nagar, Gurgaon, on 5th April, 2010
around 8.18 PM to retrieve an amount of Rs.1, 400/-. The transaction has
been declined in both machines, but the amount of Rs.1, 400 has been debited from my
account.

Txn msbi1037325902ig44835763 through our ca account no. [protected]. The transaction failed appears in our email id but my account debited rs. 15000 / - . After viewing account details transaction the amount has been credited to [protected] office account bill desk transaction.
Kindly arrange to give credit to either max new york life insurance co limited or kindly reverse the entry and please credit to our current account [protected]

misslead bt sbi
I took housing loan from sbi vide htl a/c no. [protected] (1818) during aug 2004 at 8.25% floating interest rate. I decided & changed the interest rate to fix (9%) during nov 2004. I paid rs. 8199/- to bank towards fee for changing the option. the bank on its own changed the rate to 9.50% during may 2006. I protested and took up the matter. they immediately reverted the rate to 9%.
now again during sep 2008, sbi's zonal office rasmeccc bareilly wrote to me that they will be charging the interest at the rate of 12.75%. I should pay the outstanding at once & quit banking with sbi, if I am not ready to pay the interest @ 12.75%.
I once again protested and approached to bank authorities for miss leading. how can bank do this. I opted to pay more interest to bank when bank was charging less (8.25% to 9%) and also paid a handsome fee for the change. now bank is asking to pay rate what is not being charged even by private bankers at present. I wrote to all concern authorities regarding this, even to chairman sbi. but till none of them has tried to resolve the matter. the chairman's secretariat has written to lucknow head office twice under intimation to me to resolve the matter but they did not care. at last now I am planning to for legal concern for cheating & misleading by nationalized bank of india.
The complaint is fact. The SBI does this frequently. They are cheating their old & faithful customers. They are attracting new customers by giving charming advertisements. I am sure they will harass them later like this gentle man. The matter should be taken up with Lok Pal SBI & they should be treated badly.
I am a borrower of your sbi, smeccc, kolkata, very sorry to inform you that the behaviour of your chief manager Sri Rahul Deb Barman is very rough, the behaviour we could not expect such a Bank which is the biggest bank inour country. Are you not any training facility how to behave with the customer ?Not only that he and his other fellows Sri Pranabesh Pathak also like this, they are staying that branch more than two years, I think transfer is needed both of them, they are also taking money from borrower during sanction of loan proposal.

Application for stop/dishonour payment of 2nos.PDC was given on 03.10.08.Service charge was deducted from my account accordingly, but both PDC were cleared on 01.02.09 due to SBI's system failure.Hence, amount of Rs.17079.00 was cleared wrongly. Application with four nos. reminder were given several times to SBI, Transport Nagar with Copy to GM, Hazratganj, Lucknow. Till date above payment is not made.
You are requested kindly look into this matter and arrange to pay me back my amount.
