State Bank of India [SBI] amount paid, no policy sent!

This is regarding the above subject, given clearance through Phone from my side to accept the "SBI Life Super Suraksha" dated 10/11/2006 amount Rs 2613/- the same amount I paid through my Credit Card Account in two installment during Dec 2006 & Jan 2007 before 20th in the respective months. But so far no information regarding my Policy Premium receipt paper or any other statements. Then what way I will get Income Tax Relief & what it is benefited for me. Even i have contacted and complained to Head (cards) through email. But still issue is pending, nobody has taken to solve this problem. I have paid policy amount 5 months back, if i meet life threat / death, how this will help for me.

As Per SBI customer support I have opted for the above mentioned policy on 22/11/05so the amount was debited from my account and on 122306it was again credited on my account for flexipay options.

This is with reference to above mentioned subject of cancellation of my SBI Super Suraksha Policy. I do not want to pay the amount of 3583/- that has been charged on my Sept’07 SBI card statement.

As Per SBI customer support I have opted for the above mentioned policy on 24/11/2006 so the amount was debited from my account and on 13/12/2007 it was again credited on my account for flexipay options.

But I have not received any policy papers nor the flexipay options has been defined for me from the month of Jan’07and suddenly in the month of sept’07 they are charging me amount of 3583/- and also flexi pay processing fee of Rs. 111/-. which they have not opted for. It is the responsibility of SBI card personnel and not the customer to follow up with all such things .This is really disgusting.

Hi,

I had taken one Insurance policy which was sold by a Unit manager Mr Nikhil, Hyderabad in the month of Feb , 07. Till date i have not received any documents nor any correspondence.

Its like hell i have been following them and till date not received any call from SBI Insurance... its really bad and a very unprofessional attitude in today's competitive world.

Still waiting for any action from their side...

Hi,

I had applied for credit card long back. But haven't received the card for months. So i just requested the customer care ppl to deactivate the card. But before that i availed a Super suraksha insurance policy, only after SBI Life Insurance employee promised that he will be dispatching the credit card and also documents regarding the life insurance super suraksha scheme within a month. I haven't received any certificates, nor the documents nor credit card. I also spoke to Sbi life insurance ppl asking them to cancel my insurance since i have no credit card with me and have deactivated it. But still i get a message on my cell asking me to pay 3000+ the insurance amount.

State Bank of India [SBI] harassment by sbi credit card people

I have registered a complaint with the card division for billing 9634Rs on 3/6/2006. It was not yet resolved but they go on adding service charges and interest charges on this amount and harass me to make payment in spite of my explaining to them the reason for non-payment. Daily numerous calls were made by their staff and the language they use is not proper. Suitable action must be taken for using bad languages for collection.

This has reference to your card no 5264 6853 [protected] dated 2nd August 2007.I am to inform you several times that I have returned my sbi card without any short of transaction. You have once also informed me to ignore the bill which you have sending several times. I would request you to please check your record that I have not received any amount from you as acredit nor I used the credit card.I am retired person as an asst. librarian from north Bengal University. Your notice for repayment of bill is harassing me which is not disarable. Yoy are therefore requested to correct your recotd and inform as early date.

I had applied for SBI credit card & also get the same under life time free offer. Ever month I got some charge of insurance premium which I have never applied, I also a complain at local Surat office & helpline also. After six months they imposed late fee month on month on that charged. My outstanding is Rs 1493 however I have not activate the card. Everyone beware! Regards, Mudit Mittal Surat.

State Bank of India [SBI] rated first for worst customer service!

I have a sbi card from past 1 year. If you want to screw your own happiness, please go for this card. You cannot find a better way of getting your happiness screwed. These were the worst days of my life fighting with their customer service. I dropped in the cheque for the outstanding amount and I again get a call saying I have payment pending. I was fed up and again paid the amount and asked them to close my card. However, even today I get the statement. I dont know what these sbi managers are doing?

Last month, by mistake my wife used the card and again we are supposed to deal with these worst customer service agents. They do not know english or understand any other language. It is located in chennai and they only know tamil. I am fedup explaining them that I will be making the payment in next 1 week and you can charge for the late payment. However, I keep getting calls 10 times a day even after I made the payment.

Manager at sbi should make sure that the pcs at their service center are operating perfectly. We are ready to finance for the same. It is better than taking their harassment. Also, I do not understand what these consumer courts are doing when these many people are having issue with the same bank? Reserve bank of india has all sorts of amendments to make sure people are not making more money but paying to the government as tax, loan interest etc.. Why can't it stop these #-in banks from harassing people like these? If it cannot control these banks, it does not have any right to bring other amendments also.. Sbi - # bank with all # support people.

State Bank of India [SBI] non receipt of statement

Inspite of telephonic talk with SBI Card officer I have not received monthly statement for the month of March (10 th.) of credit card issued to me though sms has been received on my mobile phone that duplicate monthly statement for the month of March '07 is being sent. My credit card no. is [protected]. I have also confirmed to send statement on my e mail address provided in the application form while applying for credit card. Also web page (www.sbicard.com) does not open and appears to be nonfunctional for a long time. I have accessed this site previously quite easily.

In short services of SBI Card is not found satisfactory. They must improve.

I, Sachin Kadale, my SBI Gold Card No. is4006 [protected]. I have been complaining since the activation of my above card about the non-receipt of statement at my residence address. Umpteem times I spoke to the SBI customer care officer. They assured me that within 48 hrs. the statement will be sent to your residence address as well as through e-mail. Even I gave this complaint when I received a call from your SBI card division for customer's feedback. Still in vain. We try to encourage the Indian products by becoming the customers but it is very painful to find continuously non-professionalism. Even the payment division of Delhi is found to be very rude, specially ladies. Due to non-receipt of the timely statement, several times, late fee is being charged that may please be reverted and necessary arrangements may please be made to send the copy of all the statements till today. Till then, I will keep my next payment hold.

State Bank of India [SBI] wrong emi calculation

I am using a SBI Gold card from last around 1 year. I purchased a water purifier using this card and got a call from the bank that I can convert this amount in 6 monthly EMIs. I said OK and the told me that in a few minutes I will got a confirmation call for the same. I received the call and again I confirmed that I am ready for 6 months EMIs.

Now when I received my statement I surprised to saw that they have calculated EMI for 24 months that means more interest. I call the customer care and they told me that it will be rectified and withing 7 days you will get new statement. I didn't received any statement till one month.

After one month I again call the customer care department and that time they told me that they can not change this EMI plan back to 6 month but they can cancel it and now I have to pay full amount at once.

Now when they record the conversation and I asked them to play the conversation which I had with the EMI department they never played any conversation. I am very shocked with the behavior of the customer care. When I agreed on 6 months of EMI then why they made 24 EMIs and now they are not agree to revert back it to 6 months. Very bad service.

I Mr Rajendra Suresh Dakhale residing at 63/3108 Vartak Nagar , Thane – 400 606. My Mobile No [protected]. I am not at all satisfied with the services which is provided to me from SBI cards resulting that I would like to cancel my Credit Card with immediate effect.

I have paid Rs 17,768=62 (Seventeen Thousand Seven hundred Sixty eight & Sixty two paise by Cheque only. I had issued a cheque from my Saving Account to SBI Card. Cheque is debited in my account on 21/07/2006 as per the Bank Statement from The Mahanagar Co-Op Bank Ltd. From August or September onwards I am getting calls from SBI Payment Services Pvt Ltd Delhi for the Payment They are asking me the payment of the amount which is paid by me in july only. after fighting with them for a month or more I am able to convince them about my case. Till that time every day I was getting calls from different executives. In December I got call from SBI Andheri that your payment is outstanding they are also asking for the payment which is paid by me in July 06. worst part is that they came to my residence for the payment unfortunately I was in office but when I came to know that person from SBI came for payment I immediately called him & tell him the truth. Next day I went to Bank & collected Bank Statement as well as the certificate from the Bank mentioning that the 17768-62 is debited to my account on 21/07/06 and credit send through RBI Clearing to SBI Andheri Branch after two days Mr Mangesh from SBI andheri called me & told me that your cheque was in suspense account now it will get credited to your account. Today is February 23.2007 even 7 days before I have received the bill from SBI cards and asking to pay around 4000 to 5000 for the Interest or something. You tell me sir why I should pay the interest & what about the wastage of time & energy which I have spend to convince to sbi card’s useless people (They help me after 5 months). So many times I ask for the senior persons no or name to explain my problem but he didn’t give me the no his mobile no is [protected].

In future I will not go for SBI Card neither I will suggest my friends & relatives reason is that I have got such horrible experience from you people.

Even after paying money, SBI executives were after me like a. (I don’t want to write). You tell me a single reason why customer like me should not launch a complaint against SBI to appropriate authorities. I spoke to Mr Mangesh and asked that why sbi is again sending me the bill and asking for the interest or charges. He has only one answer Next month it will clear.

Now from Two months I am following up this case with Mr Rakesh (from SBI Payments Services – andheri) but still I am getting the Bills from SBI .

Please clear this issue immediately otherwise I will have to go to appropriate authorities due to deficiency of Services against SBI. (At your Cost). Please treat this as request or warning or whatever but sort out my issue immediately.

Now have applied credit card to HSBC but they have rejected my appl. Even Today I am following up this issue with Rakesh but no response.

we cant pay any further amount as we have already paid 3 folds of amount then our purchase amount of credit card.

They have also send us one court notice for the payment of amount which raises to 18500 after the accumulation of 1year late fee n highly interest of sbi.I have send numbers of mails to them but nobody is bothering for its reply.

Please take some stringent action over it i will be greatful to you.

I have been a victim of SBI credit card for the last 2 yrs and have just faced problems in dealing with this card .To begin with and to my biggest surprise, came to know that this card cannot accept payment from my HDFC bank account chq because this account was opened in Pune.I am based presently in bangalore. However never ever faced problems in making any kind of payment for anything before as the HDFC bank account is payable at par across any city.
Then i was suggested online payment but the site never works, you cannot spend entire day trying to open Sbi site, Also they dont even have a system where you can pay in their ATM if you are not an account holder. I am sure all this is never imagined by a customer before he takes the card and nor is it told by the marketing executives when they sell it! so finally managed to pay most of the outstandings to a collections executive who would take his own time to come for the same. This anyway led to delay and bank interest charges and late fees. I am a user of Citibak card and have never faced this kind of back gradedsystem problems to deal with a credit card.
However after SBI collections kept calling i paid more than min balance for my last outstanding of 4000 Rs and to my disappointment the card remained deactivated. For the last one year I was not allowed to use this card even on an emergency, then what is the point paying for it? On top of that when writing to the customer care they call up and repeat the same thing as all collections executive that I need to pay entire amount of 5000 ( with late payment charges) in order to activate the card and he has no solution or answer to the frustrating service or as to why they kept my card deactivated. IThis is sheer punishment for not bieng able to use a card even after payment! You may refer to me card statement and see that i have not used this card for a year now.
i never have such sad experiences when I have complianed to customer care of citibank, when i faced any problem, atleast they have some suggestion and support to a customer instead your person from customer care only said after listening to all my problems that " I have no solution for you madam, please pay the entire amount and ask bank to activate the card"
It is not possible for me to pay 5000 Rs for this card which has not even helped me in an emergency even after payment of more than min balance. Irregularites in payment are also because of Sbi not having customer friendly systems, I didnt know before taking the card that I have to go out of the way and face so much trouble in making payments.

State Bank of India [SBI] sbi promotions are fake!

I hold a SBI Gold Card No 4xxxxxxxxxxx9058 from SBI. I made a purchase for over Rs 30000 in the month of October 2006. As that was a promotion period "Jo Dikhta Hai Wohi Mi1ta Hai” offer from SBI, I won myself a Diamont Pendant worth Rs 4595. I received a letter dated 22-Nov-2006 signed by Nirupam Sahay, Vice President - Marketing, SBI mentioning the same.

As I didn’t receive any pendant from SBI till Feb 15th, I wrote a letter addressing to "The Marketing Manager (JDHWMH offer), SBI Cards and Payment Services Pvt Ltd, PO Bag No 28; GPO, New Delhi 110001” as given in the letter from SBI (In case of non-receipt of the pendant till 15th Feb 2007, please write to...).

As there was no response from SBI to my letters, I called SBI Cards helpline no. 040-[protected], to file a complaint and also sent a mail to feedback.[protected]@ge.com. There was no response for any of the mail or phone calls.

On 16-Mar-2007, I was given a complaint number [protected] and the executive said that SBI is following on the case and I would receive the pendant in 1 week. I used to call SBI every week to receive the stereo type answer "You would receive in another week" or "please call after 1 week to know about the status". When I called the helpline on 30-Apr-2007, I was surprised to hear from one Ms Saranya that there is no complain number for this case and she resisted to give a complaint number.

When I called the SBI helpline again on 7/May/2007, I was give a fresh complaint number [protected] and was asked to wait for another 3 days. This looks like a cat and mouse game, where I call SBI regularly and they keep postponing things. The promotion looks like a false one to mislead people. I am not sure if anyone ever received the so called pendant they promised to give.

On getting frustrated I sent mails to the vice president on e-mal ID head.[protected]@ge.com. It looks like the VP doesn't even read mails, but sends a response using a standard template. The response doesn't have any sense at all.

SBI also sells sensitive data to its vendors. I observed this as I receive promotional calls to the number which only SBI credit Card officials know.

State Bank of India [SBI] looting by sbi card

I opted for Royal Sundaram's Hospital Cash Scheme through SBI Credit Card during 2005. SBI Card collected it as 12 installments. When the Royal Sundaram asked for continuation of the Scheme I agreed and an amount of 3665/- was included in the next months statement and I paid it promptly in the next payment in full without delay.

But to my surprise, in the next months statement, SBICARD has charged Rs. 1,122.00 as HO Cash Admin Fee without informing about such a cheat was utter despair and confusion regarding the payment of the amount shown the statement because:

1. SBI Card or Royal Sundaram have not informed me about this much huge administration fee. Later Royal Sundarm has told that they are not charging anything other than the premium amount of Rs. 3665.00

2. The Administration fees is very huge i.e., Rs.1,122.40/- for 3,665/- which is 31%. This much admin fee can not be justified for just passing the amount to Royal Sundaram.

Then I contacted the SBI CARD helpline and requested the person to cancel the admin fee or if not possible, cancel the card. He said to remit the rest of the amount excluding Rs. 1,122.40/-. When I checked with the help line on the next day, they said that my card has been cancelled and the admin fee can not be revoked. Hence I did not remit the bill amount.

I have not paid any further bills and not done any transactions on the cards.

CAN ANYBODY ADVISE ME WHAT TO DO ? What I have to do to solve this problem?

This is you all bring in a notice that SBI Credit Card Collection Department spoke very harsh to me. I am holding a credit card with this bank. Ever month 2nd i get a call from the collection department for paying my minimum due , but let me tell you that as per my statement the due date falls on 21st of every month. The collection department call me everyday and forces me to do the payment immediately. I really don't understand then why do the have due dates.

IF ANY LAWYER IS READING THIS, PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHAT ACTIONS CAN BE TAKEN. I AM READY TO GO OUT OF MY WAY TO TEACH SBI A LESSON. I AM READY TO SPEND MONEY BEHIND THE CASE, BUT AT LEAST I WILL MAKE SURE OTHERS ARE SPARED OF THIS HORRIBLE TREATMENT METHOD OUT TO ME.

State Bank of India [SBI] regarding transaction right

Myself is Inspector Abhinav. I have an saving account at SRINAGAR Branch, DELHI No. [protected]. Nearly three weeks ago I have applied for Internet Banking. They gave me the user name and password for the same but till now they haven't give me the transaction right online. I visited the branch couple of time but no avail. My brother has an account in ICICI bank from the last five years but till date he hasn't seen his branch office. All his works has done online. That is the main differences between the private and public sector banks. My view is that all public sector banks should be made private. Then there is a smooth functioning of the banks.

I opened a saving Bank account in State Bank of India Biplabi Anukul Chandra street branch Kolkata on 19/3/07 vide a/c no1932 against production of my international passport as address proof. The bank sent a letter to me by speed post on 21/3/07 vide speed post no EE [protected] IN containing intimation to collect the cheque book.But the same letter was not delivered till to day.We made inquiries at BowBazar post office and submitted a letter also about non delivery of letter but the same is unresponded till yet. On the other hand SBI is not issuing me the cheque book on the plea that I do not reside at the given address.

State Bank of India [SBI] restoration of cheque collection box

COMPLAINT no. 1

Cheque collection box at SBI ATM at mogappair west, Chennai 37 was fixed in Jan 2007, which was useful to drop credit card cheques for the office goers. I have gone to drop a cheque today (15.5.2007) at 6.30 am. But to my surprise,the box was removed from ATM and placed it inside the SBI branch, Mogappair West only 2 days back (on 13.5.07) FOR THE REASONS KNOWN TO sbi WHICH I DON'T WANT TO EXPLAIN.I have to wait till the opening of the bank by 9 or 9.30 pm.

COMPLAINT No 2

I am an Officer working in Tamil Nadu Secretatariat, Chennai 9. More than 7000 officials are working in the office. Most of them are having bank a/c with SBI and salary is credited through ECS. Many of the officers are also having credit card but they find it difficult to drop cheques as no collection box is put up in the SBI ATM at Secretariat right from the installation of ATM for the past 3 years. Further 1000 s of officials daily visiting the officials/Ministers find the same difficulty. While ATMs of other banks are having Cheque collection boxes, SBI is only lacking. We were therefore forced to switch over to the use of credit cards of other banks. I request installation of cheque collection box in the ATM @ Secretariat.

State Bank of India [SBI] levy of late fees and finance charges

The helpline service of SBI CARDS are very rude and not at all aware of the subject. They don't provide the proper feedback and information on any queries. I had problem in receipt of statement for 4 months and even after regular complaint, the same was never resolved by SBI CARDS.

From time to time, I have made the payment of principal amount of money and requested to waive the late fees and finance charges. Once they have waived the same but then they become very rigid and regraded to change the same due to their policy. It's mistake of SBI but they don't realized that and blame the customers for non payment.

For last 4 months i m discussing with Mr. Ajay Bharti -VP of SBI cards but his behaviors was also rude and rigid. Instead of sorting out the issue, he tries to explain the situation in different manner.

During this discussing/communication with sbi cards, they have levied finance and late fees charges on non payment of disputed late fees.

Each month they levy the additional fees without resolving the issue.

It's quiet surprising to know such kind of behavior with one of the biggest public section banks.

I took sbi card in Jan 2006 and in Feb 2006 they gave me insurance called life surakha, from that there is no surakha in my life. Till now they are not sent any documents regarding this insurance. I complained number of times but there is no action. They cancelled my card and insurance which is fine but not the account. They are keep calling me to pay the money. When i asked the reason, if you are receiving the statements then you have to pay the money irrespective of what you got or not, I said you are not send the document till now, there is response from the life surkha insurance dept and I am not used the card for any my personal reasons. How could i pay the money?

They are calling me daily, from last one year, i said clearly i am not going to pay single rupee.

How i pay the money with out using the card for one rupee, this is really fraud banking.

State Bank of India [SBI] sbi banking procedure issue

I need some clarifications reg the state bank of india (sbi) banking procedure. I am working as a software engineer in bangalore. also I am holding my salary a/c in icici. and my native place is gobichettipalayam my parents are in my native. so I planned to open an savings a/c in sbi - gobichettipalayam branch (erode dist). during the month of january - 07.

when I approached the bank manager first time he did not replied properly also he replied as "I am having icici so he will he will not open new a/c for me in sbi". I had all the required documents including pan card & also reference (existing sbi a/c holder). then finally opened the account with the help of a small boy who is working in a tea-stall opp to the bank & his age is around 15-16 yrs who is supplying tea to the bank workers everyday

Then after opening the a/c I just wanted to activate the internet banking for the same a/c. and also I gave the request for the cheque book. but the manager refused to give both of them. when I asked about enabling the online account he said he wont enable that & also his reply was very blunt & rubbish.

so I just wanted to know is there any written rule like for opening a/c in sbi we should be relative or close friend of the manager? and also for enabling the online account is there any rule like we need to show many transactions?

Can anyone please clear my clarifications & correct me if anything I am wrong here.

State Bank of India [SBI] customer harassment

I am an ENT Surgeon of Steel Authority of India Ltd posted at Durgapur. I am an owner of an SBI card I am also a savings bank a/c holder of SBI Durgapur the cheques of which I was mostly using for repayment of my card dues. I am a regular payer of my card dues. I normally used the drop box of the SBI A-Zone Branch Durgapur.

The payment which I made for the March statement(Rs 5000) through SBI Cheue no 619708 unfortunately has got debited from my savings bank ac but is not been credited into my credit card ac. Mr B. Sarkar, the Chief Manager of SBI Durgapur has checked from his official computer and confirmed that the amount has gone to the SBI Credit Cards ac. The copy of the statement was also send as a proof. I have also handed over an application and a copy of the statement to one Mr Manab, a collecting agent at Durgapur 15 days back.

Meanwhile I am being harassed for last one month ruthlessly by SBI Cards employees and DSAs on telephone and otherwise for slow payment without any clarification for why my credit card ac has not been updated. They are very rough in their dealings. I have received such a impolite call from the telephone no-[protected] today at around 1245 hrs. These people have no idea how to talk to respectable people.It seems they have responsibility to collect and none regarding the payment received. Being a Public sector employee myself I feel sad about the state of affairs of the company.

I am eager to make my payment but they should settle the issue first and help me by relieving me from this mental trauma.I was elated to take SBI DOCTORS Card but the treatment I am recieving is unwarranted and unpardonable.

State Bank of India [SBI] recovery finance charges even after timely payments

I am corresponding, through e-mail, with SBI Cards for the last few weeks and on not being satisfied with responses, so sent by SBI Cards, today at 11.00 a.m. I called their Help Line Number [protected], which was picked-up by Mr. Rohit, who informed me that he was from their Gurgaon Call Centre.
During the conversation he kept me waiting for about a minutes without any reason nor he begged sorry for his unreasoned disappearance and when I asked him about the same he simply said I was talking non sense as the Finance Charges will not be deleted from my Bill at any cost and when I asked as to what should I do for my grievance he said why are you wasting his time as nothing is going to happen and disconnected the Phone.

I felt very bad as such I wrot to SBI Cards with the intention that they should know my nonsense, which I was telling to the Call Centre Boy. The same is as under:

I am not receiving the Bills since March 2007 and Soon after receipt of SMS, I made payment of Rs. 54,000=00 through Cheque No. 635977 of State Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur, Vikas Nagar Branch, Lucknow, U.P. on 17.04.2007 and the Statement, received through your e-mail, shows that you have received Rs. 5,400=00 in 19.04.2007 and accordingly an amount of Rs. 2,140=00 has been included as Finance Charges as such I wanted that the deposited amount be corrected and the Finance Charges be deleted.

I am very old customer of SBI Cards and always made payment within time, except once in 2004.

I have never made part payment, except once.

I may also point-out that the aforesaid Cheque was presented in my Bank, i.e. The State Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur, Vikas Nagar Branch, Lucknow on 23.04.2007 and was cleared on that day itself.

I requested the SBI Vards to arrange regular and timely delivery of Bills/Statements.

The SBI Card was also requested by me that the Finance Charges be deleted from my Bill/Statement.

I warned the SBI Cards that in case the Finance Charges would not be deleted from my Bill/Statement, I would think for withdrawal of our relationship with SBI Cards.

I also informed the SBI Cards that unless the paid amount is not corrected and the Finance Charges are not deleted from my Bill/Statement, I will not make the payment of the present Bill, received by me through e-mail and then the matter will be resolved through Lucknow Court only. As such they may take this Letter as Legal Notice as well.

SBI CARD PEOPLE ARE INSENSITIVE TO CUSTOMER GREVIENCES.they eevn send goondas home to collect their dues even if they are wrong in billing fines.they are very rude on the fone on thierhelpline no.people shd boycott sbicards.maybe complaining to ombusman might help in resolving the issue.

I am A.Ponkumar. Two months before I purchased an Air tel No:[protected]. I am getting a lot calls from SBI - Credit card Dept, Paris Branch, chennai asking a Name Mr.K.Prathap. I don't Know who is prathap. I got around 78 calls from That Dept.

I told them that I am not prathap. They are not accepting it. Then i told them that I am prathab. They are not accepting that also. What can I do. I used polite, strong , and harsh words also.

Hello Frnd, I too got the similar calls but saying i am using SBI Credit card and payment is still pending. I seriously have not gone for SBI credit card and that too they are talking abt 6yrs back. today was the height of all they are telling dont cheat and all word they used I plainly said i will complain about this.
Tried with the complaint centre @ Airtel they said that the calls are IP calls and cannot be traced back only police can do something.

We have a CC account with SBI Anaj Mandi, Shahdara Branch with CC limit of Rs.33 Lac from last four years.

From last four year our turnover is around 1.8 to 2 Cr. and we have no need to increase our CC Limit. But this financial year our turnover is increased to 4.8 Cr. and we needed more funds, as we request SBI to increase our CC limit , but instead of increasing the limit they had decreased our CC limit .

Beside of all this the officers of state bank (smecc chandni chowk) harassed us for returning our title deed they tried to spend time by one or another way.

Also they force us to close our account in spite of requesting them that we have issued some cheques and we need some time to replace them with new cheques but they refused our request by saying that this is a SBI policy.

I want to know when I suspended my CC limit and have a credit balance and I am issuing cheques only with the money in my account how can they refuse to maintain my account.

We think the business is more important that policies, as bank interest we are paying about Rs. 1.6 to 1.9 lacks. to bank except other charges. If someone can’t fulfill the need of their customers obviously he will loose his customers, and the business decrease is not good for him itself.

Now we shifted our account to Allahabad bank with a limit of Rs 80 lacks. We never think of any relation with State bank of India.

I am 38 years of age doing banking with sbi and its different branches from last 20years. I had also availed the car loan and even cleared that too before time. I am honest customer of bank. my wife is also joint holder of the saving account with me (mentioned above). all the staff members are very cordial and having harmonious relations with me and with all other customers.. there is madam ruby tikkoo, officer in bank who is always rude n harsh to maximum of the customers n even to old age persons and even with ladies customer.. today I accompanied my sister dr renu mahajan (phd law) and my old age senior citizen father sh rajinder mahajan (72yrs and senior advocate) both having saving accounts in the same bank n branch. my sister has to add her father name in the locker no 111 cabinet no 4 at the basement of the bank. one gentle man mr saberwal who is also an officer asked me to go mrs ruby tikkoo for the addition of the name in the said locker. we reached the bank at sharp 3pm and contacted mrs ruby tikkoo who not on seat at that time after 10 mins she came n when we requested she said I am very busy n come tommorrow at 12 pm n rest its v tedious job need lot of time n documents. when I told her we are learned n able citizens n brought all the formalities with us in advance like 2 each colour passportsize photographs of both applicants (who are daughter-father), pan cards of both, adhaar cards of both in original n in photocopies n even rs 100 joint affidavit of both applicants she became furious.. and shouted in full public view in hall in the presence of all customers n staff members that she will not add name now. come tommorrow n that too at 12pm n if u will come before that forget about locker... I urged this is not a way to speak to a lady n old age senior citizen customer who are already saving accounts n even locker in active operation... just name has to add in books... but she refused immediately n said no means no'""...

It is pertinent to mention here that mrs ruby tikkoo is famous in dealing bad with customers wherever she has earlier in all the branches.. even cctv footage of 2 nov 2017 from 3 pm to 4 pm is on record.. we were v harassed and feel insulted in bank premises
it is therefore requested before your good self that strict n stringent actiom may taken against mrs ruby tikkoo at the earliest in interest of justice.. '"justice delayed is justice denied"".

I am harish kumar. I have account in state bank of india in najafgarh, new dehli branch. I am totally dis-satisfied with the service provide by najafgarh branch. they (staff members) use abusive language with the consumers. even before lunch time viz is scheduled at 2.00 pm to 2.30 pm here they go for lunch at 1 pm only. when I told them to do their duty properly they shout at me and tear off my letter (for the ntpc job application). when I went to complaint for this to the manager the manager was not there he might be not in the office and after then when I reached the deputy-manager r k duhdwal for complaint book he refused to give me the complaint book and used abusive language against me and they (ps mehra-one of the employee and dudhwal) said tujhe jo ukahdna hai humara ukahde le hum tera kaam nahi karenge or na he complaint book denge.
Sir now it is up to you for your bank reputation.

State Bank of India [SBI] no proper response to customer's complaints

My complaint is regarding my SBI Credit Card which i am using for last 1yr till last month I didn't face any problem. Suddenly the problem cropped up by the way of Cash on Loan for which i have not asked for they themself have sent me a draft of Rs.29,000/-. Then i called up the customer care and informed them to cancel the same they also confirmed that it will be canceled and the same amount will be given credit to my card account. The next day again a problem in the form of balance transfer to my another card account for Rs.5000/- for that also i have not asked for. Then again I called up the SBI Customer care then they asked me to send back the DD for balance transfer and confirmed me that the same will be canceled and will be credited to my account. After several phone calls I got the balance transfer amount canceled . But for the first problem till date the said amount was not credited to my account. The problem is SBI card division is that they are not taking complaints seriously and not giving proper response to the customers. Even I have sent an mail to the Manager Customer Care. He replied me stating that all my queries will be sorted out by this month end. But only two out of three has been rectified but the one which is the major one is still been pending.

100% now I believe that if you have money then you can get anything, every thing is possible by you. If you are a poor then you can’t get anything, every thing is far and beyond possible to you, also you get poor judgment and poor comportment in all aspects of life, in our country INDIA. For example 1. I. I went to Police Station more than 100 times, made 5times entries (complaints) into G.D. but Not even a microscopic actions took place against the alleged bodies. On the contrary Sandip Samanta, S/O. Shankar Kumar Samanta (S.B.I. OFFICER Ph. No. [protected], Branch: 24B, Nimtala Ghat Street, Jorabagan, Kolkata- 700006, West Bengal, India‎, Bank Ph. No. 033 [protected]) he has much more and enough money so they purchase all police personnel's and some political leaders, some Dada. Etc. Only I used to get many letters and many phone calls which all seem to me needs to be thrown in the trash, as it all are valueless, toothless and only simply a solace to the poor. What an undone boy I am! Woe is to me! My wife and her family, Sandip Samanta and his family harassed me and my family, they are torcher me physically and mentally.

We got married 05/03/2002, and have a daughter who took birth on 09/07/2005. My wife and her family lodged a case 498A/34 IPC, FIR NO.276, date 31/08/2009, P.S.: BAGUIATI, against me and some of my family members it’s a fabricated, baseless, legless, toothless and doesn’t have any commensurate to the fact. My wife is engaged and having an illicit affair with a boy (Sandip Samanta, S/O. Shankar Kumar Samanta S.B.I. Officer Ph. No. [protected], Branch: 24B, Nimtala Ghat Street, Jorabagan, Kolkata- 700006, West Bengal, India‎, Bank Ph. No. 033 [protected]) just opposite to my house, all the matters are known to every person in my village, and also they have certified me written about my fresh character and nature. When my wife left form my house with Sandip Samanta taking many vory gold and cash 1.20 lack Indian rupees. What a demon she is! She didn’t take our only daughter (only four years old) who is now in my house having severe asthma supported by inhaler. My wife filed the 498A case dated 31/08/2009 and I was arrested on 06/09/2009, The Learn" ed court granted me on bail on 19/09/2009. Barasat court. I have lots of irrefutable evidences, (20 pcs. Adult S.M.S., Adult picture with the boy and a c.d.) with me where it is cleanly reveals which translates my wife and the boy that they are in illicit relations. Believe me I and my family would love very much (which is very rare seen in our society) to my wife and never any kind of love lost didn’t happen. They (My wife family) are very very poor and live in a bosti Address: 70/H/8 Manicktolla Main Road, Kolkata – 700054, Beside 5 Star Club, my mother saw 1st time and she arranged my marriage. Before marriage my family did not see the pedigree of my wife’s family, now we understood also realized that they hailed from a worst status. My wife, her family and (Sandip Samanta, S/O. Shankar Kumar Samanta) all they are misusing this law. Now my wife’s family knows all the affair-related matter. My wife left our only solitary daughter to me who is 4 years old having severe "Asthma Disease, depends on INHALER, here political Hide and seek, ducks and drakes and lots of unfair means are going on and the father of the parents (THE FATHER OF THE BOY WHO HAS ILLICIT RELATIONS WITH MY WIFE) are rich, so they are spending money to everywhere with a view to be escaped. Now I decided that in no way I can’t accept that demon wife. I hired a lawyer his name Mr. Kamelash Nandi. I don’t know what will be happened next? It’s an utterly a huge and a palpable offence subsequent to which the boy deserves severe and examplanary punishment so that no one can dare to abuse this law. My mother is a sugar present shies sugar is now 400. If possible please help me. Please investigate the matter thread barely and save me and my family. I leave here one question to every one that in this die-straits situation whom do I take care to myself (TRAGEDY), my daughter, or my mother(severe Diabetic)?. My wife filed another case me U/s. 125 Cr. P. C. Case NO.167/2009, date 16/12/2009.I am millions miles away from the genuine and authentic investigation and inquiry. No inquiry, investigation were executed against the F.I.R lodged by my wife. It is very painful, lamentable as well as heart rendering, breath taking affair to me and my family. My heart bursts into guffaw when I see the nature of the inquiry and investigation. One thing is as clear as crystal to me that the law and the task of the law enforcing agencies vary from man to man. A new proverb is going to take birth very soon that "Justice for the rich and Injustice is for the poor" A rich reserves the right to indulge in any kind of heinous business but the poor is restricted to involve in any type of excellent deeds" To see all these my heart is about to come in the mouth and the ground under my feet gets shook. In a word all types of Law are for the poorest and the richest will enjoy the richest judgments from all quarters.

After coming form the DumDum Central Jail, I mat with the BAGUIATI POLICE O.C. Mr. Goutam Mitra, and asked him politely: “ SIR I FAILED TO UNDERSTAND THAT I MADE SO MANY ENTIRIES INTO YOUR G.D.E. BUT YET NO ACTION SO FAR HAS NOT BEEN TAKEN FORM YOURSELF” then BAGUIATI POLICE O.C. Mr. Goutam Mitra, went through all my papers (20 pcs. Adult S.M.S., Adult picture with the boy, G.D.E, MANY MANY OTHER PAPERS RELATED TO MY CASE and TWO c.d.). After seeing all my papers he told me that I cannot take any action until and unless you lodge a case against all of them.

Then I Prayed to the Ld. C.J.M at Barasat court to lodge the case, against the alleged person. (the payer to the Ld. C.J.M. is enclosed which is self-explanatory) after filing the case the BAGUIATI POLICE O.C. Mr. Goutam Mitra, and I.O. Mr. Prasenta Kumar Das, Mr. Ajay Kumar Ghosh, in stead of taking not any take proper investigation/ not take any action/ not take any type of query to recover my Cash and Gold form the house of Shankar Kumar Samanta, The BAGUIATI POLICE O.C. Mr. Goutam Mitra, and I.O. Mr. Prasenta Kumar Das, Mr. Ajay Kumar Ghosh, took my case as a Golden Goose, and how much money BAGUIATI POLICE O.C. Mr. Goutam Mitra, and I.O. Mr. Prasenta Kumar Das, Mr. Ajay Kumar Ghosh, has taken is well known to them. Neither he took any take proper investigation/ not take any action/not take any type of query nor he did roundup them against my case.

When I saw that already near by 70-80 days went by “ I went to the BAGUIATI P.S. to know the status of the case then BAGUIATI POLICE I.O. Mr. Prasenta Kumar Das, Mr. Ajay Kumar Ghosh, became outraged me and my mother that if you ask about Shankar Kumar Samanta and his family I will sentence you and your family in the Jail, all their languages is so much filthy dirty which I cannot express front of you.
As I’m 100 percent innocent so I screw up my courage to place my grievances to every body in order to get redress. So I want to let my matter informed all the Indian and others. I wrote my matter to our local P.S., Local Councilor, all M.P., M.L.A., Minister in W.B. and Other States, C.M. in W.B., CBI Department, CID Department, S.P. and Dy.S.P.(N.) 24 Parganas, DGP Bhupindar Singh, All the I.P.S. AND I.A.S. OFFICERS. Governor in W.B, and President in India. P.M. in India, National/International Human rights department, AAP KI KACHEHRI – KIRAN KE SAATH, Kolkata Police, and all police officers in W.B. informed Kolkata Commissioner of Police, Manager S.B.I.-Branch: 24B, Nimtala Ghat Street, Jorabagan, Kolkata- 700006, West Bengal, India‎, Bank Ph. No. 033 [protected]. My nation, all of the news channels, and all press, Talking with some NGO’s: 1. Universal Right and Duty for Human to Abide URDHA, 2. Human Right Commission’s Mr. Ujjal Paul and Mr. Shibaji Dasgupta. 3. Bhatat Bachao Sangathan BBS. 4. Forum for Social Justice and Development FSJD. 5. i am an account holder of your benk a/c no.[protected]. my father Sh.Ramkanwar's[ex-man] pension a/c no.[protected] is in sbi, Bhatgoan[snp]HR [direct].my father died on 23th march 2009.but even after five mymonths my father's pension was not transffered in to my mother's a/c no. [protected]. Benk officers said to us that you go to Delhi yourselves in SBI pension Department and it was not our work. Benk officer's is not co -oprating us. please help us and solove our problem as soon as possible.

Sir, I am having debit card.I wanted to withdraw money from ATM.I went to my nearest ATM of ICICI and tried twice.Both times I got message "Transaction denied". Then I went to SBI ATM and tried. I got money but to my shock, the amount of Rs.6000/-was debited twice.I contacted my branch but they denied the first debit by SBI and say that ICICI has to be contacted. But todate I did not get any reply.Let me know how to proceed further.

I am account holder of SBI vide SB a/c no.[protected]. Kindly take two minutes to read my grievance regarding not giving any response from SBI Service branch, Parliament Street, New Delhi;

Two cheques from Provident Fund office, Gurgaon have been issued vide no.503241 dt.313.07 for Rs.4794, and 456566 dt.31.3.07 for Rs.9019. Out of which cheque no.456566 dt.31.3.07 for Rs.9019 has been credited to my account on27.4.07. But the other cheque i.e cheque no.503241 dt.313.07 for Rs.4794/- has still not been credited to my account.

I have contacted my account branch at SBI, Trilokpuri, Delhi -91. They have issued a letter dated 12/5/07, addressed to New Colony, Gurgaon. I personally took that letter to the Brach at SBI, New Colony, Gurgaon. Branch manager at Gurgaon has given a comment on that letter "the cheque has been debited on 26.4.07, kindly claim credit service branch."

Again I have contacted my SBI branch at Trilokpuri, Delhi. They have issued one more letter addressed to the Chief Manager, SBI, Service Branck, Parliament Street, New Delhi on 15.5.07.

But till today service has neither given any reply to this letter or credited the said amount to my account.

State Bank of India [SBI] rude behavior, pathetic service of sbi credit card

I am having SBI Credit Card since last three years. A resident of Nagpur, Maharashtra (INDIA), I received my few credit card statement in the beginning for which I paid the bills regularly. But later, the bill statement stopped coming by post and SBI Cards started sending the same on my Email ID for which I never asked. After couple of months I started receiving calls from their Delhi call center for the payment and subsequently their collection center representatives started giving threatening calls and also visited my residence and misbehaving with my elderly parents and my wife as I was not available personally during the day time. This pathetic behavior disturbed me. Even after asking for bills (hard copies), to their call centre, I never received bills in hard copy. My card is now blocked and the local collection boys still threaten and misbehave every now and then. Their only contention is for the minimum payment and not for settling and account. SBI Card holders, please beware of this.
