Me and my wife are Platinum Card Holders and have been playing at Sun International Casinos for as long as I can remember. My wife received a Stay and play offer that was effective between 01/10/2017 ending on 31 October 2017. This offer stated that she is offered accomadation for two excluding breakfast and Sun free play at Meropa Hotel and Casino.
We booked a room at Meropa Hotel and the reception was excellent. She (my wife) was told to claim her free play which was recorded on the invitation/offer voucher at the MVG desk. The MVG desk told her she does not have any free play offer which was contrary to what the invitation stated. When I questioned them, they said they no longer load these free plays but they are done by the cash desk. I went there with her and we were told she does not have the free plays offered on the invitation.
I took the matter up with the floor manager who after investigation told me there was no free play for my wife on their system and I should take the matter up with head office. (This was around 01h40 and we had checked in at around 20h30 and given a run around since then)
To me this is an unfair practice by Sun International to make a client an offer which they know does not exist.
I have addressed an email to the Slots Manager at Meropa and has given them 12 hours to rectify this mess failing which I will be left with no option but to refer a dispute to the gaming board.
