I am hugely disappointed with the way my family from Australia was treated at your Sun City hotel. I booked and paid well in advance for their stay. When they got to the hotel, they were told that they had to pay R13 500 which I had already paid! I phoned your head office who told me that the account was settled - ON THE SYSTEM! Once I sent the POP to Sun City they agreed to refund my son BUT their system was down so that couldn't be done. Notice that I was the one trying to resolve this - not your person from Head Office who couldn't care less. Pathetic. Firstly I want to know how your system says the account had been settled but the hotel at which the booking was made, didn't have it on their system? It took them forever to book in and THEN their 'SUPERIOR LUXURY FAMILY ROOM' was a cramped room with one large bed (whatever size) plus a stupid little fold out couch for a 14 and 12 year old! Really? I gave your booking dept all this detail at the time of booking and this is the best you could do for your international visitors. I am so disgusted by your service and will spread this story as far and wide as I possibly can. Wake up Sun City if you want people to support you. WAKE UP! It's not just a job with a salary ... you need to know what you're doing and how to treat visitors. Poor poor show. And BTW, I asked for the manager to please call me. I'm still waiting. Gosh, you're a complete and utter joke.
Desired outcome: Move them to a decent room as a matter of urgency!!!!! Nobody at Sun City gives a dam. I'm still waiting for the manager to call me. He absolutely can't be bothered
