They are nice at first but they are liars
They are nice at first but they are liars. I'm glad I have everything documented. I -[protected]/10 do not recommend.
Fraudulent illegal ad pricing
Fraudulent illegal ad pricing. In Ga, advertised car prices must include all fees except for state fees. They added $1695 for used car prep and $890 for e-doc fees on top of ad price. We had a written quote for one amount and agreed to come back in morning after they cleaned up the car and they wanted another $1000. We walked out. Attorney general needs to be notified about the deceptive ad pricing.
They got awful customer service with high pressure tactics
They got awful customer service with high pressure tactics. Then, after paying my loan off early, they wouldn't refund my leftover gap insurance without me making a two hour drive to show up in person. It's 2022, there's no reason I shouldn't be able to cancel without driving there. They're just tryna make it so hard to cancel that folks just give up. I done bought two cars from 'em but ain't gonna give 'em my business no more in the future.
This dealership is a complete disgrace and should be shut down
This dealership is a complete disgrace and should be shut down. These guys are so shady and deceptive, it's unbelievable. I bought a car from them on March 15, and returned it just last week. The car was constantly in the repair shop, and I hadn't even driven it for a full month. Can you believe that? It violated Georgia's Clean Airforce regulations too. It wasn't until I threatened to sue them that they finally agreed to buy the car back. How can a car dealership not follow the laws? Seriously, stay away from Sutherlin Nissan Mall of Georgia!
This dealership is so dishonest, it's unbelievable
This dealership is so dishonest, it's unbelievable. They don't care about the safety and security of their customers. I mean, seriously, they play these sneaky tricks just so they can lie and cheat you. Can you believe it? They actually stole from my wife and put my family in danger because they don't take safety seriously. My wife drove all the way home, over an hour, with missing lug nuts on a car she just bought from them! And get this, they gave her two sets of keys, but the second key doesn't even work for our car. Can you believe the nerve? The manager, ***, won't do a single thing to fix this mess. They won't even admit they made a mistake. So, if you recently bought a 2020 Van from them, better check your stock number because I have your second key. Can you believe the audacity?
I'm givin' this place a one star 'cause they don't let ya give zero
I'm givin' this place a one star 'cause they don't let ya give zero. So, I found this Rogue on Autotrader and sent 'em an inquiry online. I clicked for the best price and it showed up as $26,575. They sent me a summary with that price, but they took out my down payment of $7500, taxes of $1754, and DMV fees of $43. So, the total financed was $20,872 and due at signin' was $7500. I called 'em up to make sure they still had the car and I told the internet sales manager that I was comin' to buy it. But when I got there, the price magically went up, even though they had the ad right there on Autotrader. They tacked on an extra $6000+ to the purchase price! I told 'em that ain't what was advertised, ain't what they emailed me, and ain't what they told me before I drove all the way to the dealership. I ain't never seen such unprofessionalism and false advertisin'. Don't ya dare buy from these folks. They're slimy.
I found a car at a great price on a local Nissan dealership's website
I found a car at a great price on a local Nissan dealership's website. But when discussing the price, they added $5,152 for extras like paint protection and inspections, plus a service package for oil changes and tire nitrogen I didn't want. It's illegal to add fees to an advertised price, barring taxes and licenses. This dealership is exploiting legal ignorance. Educate yourself before visiting any dealership to avoid being exploited. Legal protections are outlined in the consumer protection document available on the state's consumer affairs website.
I dunno how this place got a 4 star review
I dunno how this place got a 4 star review. They're the shadiest dealership I've ever dealt with. They had 5 Nissan Rogue's on their website with prices. Me and my wife live 2 hours away, so we called to check the price before driving up. The staff said the price was guaranteed and to show the listing to the Sales Manager. When we got there and talked about the price, they hiked it up by $8k and said they wouldn't honor the internet price. My wife showed them all the listings online, but they had taken 'em all down. Just 15 minutes after we left, they put 'em all back up with the same fake prices. It's a scam and I'd stay far away from this place! After I posted this review on their site, I saw that I'm not the only one this happened to.
These folks are the lowest of the low
These folks are the lowest of the low. They advertise super low prices on *** and *** Don't think you'll get that price. I found a Murano I wanted that they had listed. With the car biz being like it is from covid, I decided I'd drive 6 hours to buy the car. I was assured by *** that the price would be honored. As I was driving up, he even told me he had the keys to this car in his pocket. When I get there, they didn't even have the car. I don't believe it even existed. The first story they told me was that it sold yesterday. Then they said the manager's wife was driving it. Later, the manager asks the salesman "where is this car?" They said *** was an *** and he'd be *** for this mistake. So here's the deal they offered to make up for their mistake. They offered a similar demo Murano with 5K miles for $8000 more than they originally promised. I left there thinking they may have legitimately made a mistake. Then I went and started reading Google reviews and found many others had similar experiences to mine. This is how they do biz. It's been 3 weeks since this happened and the original add is still up on autotrader. My goal is to share my experience with as many people or agencies as possible. This "***" person that leaves the sweet little canned response to these reviews is just as shameless as the rest of the dealership. She does the same thing on Google reviews.
Sutherlin Nissan got 3 new 2021 Nissan Altima SR on Auto trader for $21,544, $21,743, $22,107
Sutherlin Nissan got 3 new 2021 Nissan Altima SR on Auto trader for $21,544, $21,743, $22,107. I called the dealership to check the price. They transferred me to their internet specialist, ***. I told her I lived 77 miles away and didn't want to waste my time or gas if the cars weren't priced as advertised. The dealership had 4 2021 Nissan cars. After she supposedly confirmed the prices with a manager, she set up an appointment for me the next morning. I arrived at the dealership when they opened at 9am. The receptionist said she was here but told me to sit with another salesperson. I asked for *** and he said he would let her know I was here. He then said he'll help me get this thing going. He pulled up my name in the system and went to get the printout of the car. He came back with a paper showing a final price of $41,233. The dealership was charging a $3,999 fee because new cars are hard to get due to supply. They also charged a $2,699 destination fee and a $699 doc fee. Additionally, there was a $1 *** charge for paint and upholstery protection, and another $1,700 for the Nissan assurance program. After seeing the shocking price, I asked to speak to the manager. *** came to talk to me. He explained that every dealership charges these fees for a new car. So I said I've heard enough, thanks but no thanks, you can scam somebody else. He then snatched the printed paper out of my hand and walked away. I asked for the paper back, but he wouldn't say another word as I took pictures of him with my phone.
I made the mistake of buying a 2020 Nissan Kicks from this dealership on 12/31
I made the mistake of buying a 2020 Nissan Kicks from this dealership on 12/31. I found the car on Cars.Com. It was listed for $13,653 with zero miles. The ad said the price included $2,000 Nissan Customer Cash & $500 Nissan Holiday Bonus Cash. The sales guy, Diego, agreed to honor the price when I showed him the picture I saved from cars.com. The mistake I made was trusting him and signing a contract that was tricky. I wish I had read their reviews because many people had the same experience but were smart enough to walk away. They have a rep of being a "bait and switch" dealership. This is an understatement! The cash price was listed on the contract as $18,314.81. I did ask why the amount was high but was told they had to show the amount before the credits for the incentives were given. Also there were add ons that he said "came with the car and couldn't be taken off." I thought the fees were included in the cash price but NO...they were extra. I also had a trade in value of $1000 which wasn't applied correctly. They added an "appearance package" for $1195. I was clearly overcharged $2250.00. I contacted Diego several times and sent emails to the manager, hoping they would agree to fix the contract. It was a waste of time and energy because they won't contact me. If nothing else comes from this terrible learning experience, maybe it will stop anyone else from making the same mistake.
I honestly don't see how these people sleep at night. They take advantage of women like me. I had the same car for 15 years and didn't realize this kind of thing would happen. If I could rate them anything other than 1-5 stars, I would rate them negative 2,250 stars.
Im a new buyer of a 2019 Dodge Challenger I recently purchased Wednesday March 3
Im a new buyer of a 2019 Dodge Challenger I recently purchased Wednesday March 3. I had a appointment with the sales person named jasmine I told the receptionist when I walked in I had a appointment with jasmine. Weis *** the sales representative just took it upon himself and assistant me with purchasing the car. So everything going okay kinda shady if you ask me, so he took me the financial manager by the name sueng *** has to be one of the worst finance manager ever. He very Friendly in the beginning but as soon as you sign the papers he a different person. Very bad customer service he's very shady about how he goes about business and he also a scam artist. The only Decent person who tired to help me was Aj *** a very good guy. So once I sign the papers thru a electronic computer which Sueng *** didn't explain anything to in detail about the car. He sold me a over priced car which was a different price online he also added all kind of service fee that I didn't approve of. So the next day less than 24hrs of buying the car I seen he added unnecessary service fees and also sold me a overpriced car that wasn't the correct price that was seen online. I came in respectful and ask to speak with seung ***, I went into his office and showed him my paperwork and asked him can u rewrite or correct some of the mistakes you made. Seung *** got very upset storm out the room and told me the sale is final and that he will not correct any of his mistakes and he get a lawyer if I want to but he's not changing the deal. So The salesman named Weis *** took me the finance manager *** has left for today and to come back Friday and I promise you everything will be fine. They will cut you a check and fix your contract with was a complete lie. That's definitely not acceptable to Deceive a customer. So I came back the next day to speak with the General manager *** which I drove 1 hr for somebody else to tell me that Finance manager Seung *** And the general manager will not come out to talk to me that the deal is final. Terrible customer service I believe this company or the people running are some scammers and they do shady business. I recently open up a Fraud case and hopefully something gets done immediately this experience has been a nightmare and that's unacceptable.
DONT buy from this dealership or even drive onto the lot
DONT buy from this dealership or even drive onto the lot.
They sold me a car that was advertised as "Certified Pre-Owned" but was not certified till two weeks after I bought it. I had the car for 3-5 days in the span of two weeks after purchasing it. They signed off on inspection paperwork that was clearly false because you could look at the tires and see they were not the same brand/tread/etc. It took two weeks to change tires so I do not trust they looked under the hood.
The management at this dealership is awful. They constantly gave me the run around about the status of my car and just everything in general. They tried to get me to drive the car off the lot multiple times before the inspection was actually complete. They tried to take paperwork out of my Certified Pre-Owned packet I got from service and made it difficult to get them to sign off on the paperwork. They constantly put blame on me despite them selling me a pretty much, fraudulent car (was not CPO at the time of purchase as advertised and promised), tried to get me to drive in an unsafe car, etc. They avoid taking responsibility for anything and will constantly give you the run around on any question you have.
I had nothing but a terrible experience at this dealership. It was like pulling teeth to get them to do anything correctly or professionally. God forbid they had to actually certify a car that was advertised as CPO. I also tried to trade into a car of the same model (it was 2 years newer, had more mileage and was the same price as the car I purchased). The sales manager then texted me back trying to up-charge me almost $5,000 for a car of the same price. He was also trying to charge me for the parts that had to be replaced anyways on the car I have now.
Dont go to this dealership. I've never had such a bad experience at a dealership before. These guys are scummiest of the scummiest. Definitely make sure your car is actually certified pre-owned before you purchase. It took two weeks to get my checklist after purchasing the car. And definitely check your contract before signing. They tried to keep paperwork that said I had the CPO warranty. Buyer definitely beware. Actually, just dont buy from here. They'll do anything to keep your money.
Nissan *** Mall Of *** is a joke of a dealership.

I bought a Nissan Sentra and the transmission has gone out at *** miles
I bought a Nissan Sentra and the transmission has gone out at *** miles. This is a well-known problem for Nissan that they ain't fixing, even though it's their fault for putting faulty transmissions in their cars. All I want is for them to fix my car so I can have a reliable ride.
I called and made sure about the price and extra money for tax, tag, and title that I saw on their website
I called and made sure about the price and extra money for tax, tag, and title that I saw on their website. When I arrived at the dealership, I found the vehicle I wanted, but there were additional fees and charges totaling 6300 dollars. I spoke to the manager about it, and he basically said that if I didn't like it, I could go. It's obvious that they advertise their cars falsely to lure customers in and then surprise them with the real costs once they're already there.
Dealership wont give money back for extended warranty after I asked many times
Dealership wont give money back for extended warranty after I asked many times. I bought a 2021 rogue on 1/23. On 1/24 the car crash system messed up, and on 1/30 it messed up again. I asked for my money back for the extra warranty because I dont plan on keeping this car after the factory warranty ends because this problem is not good. Both Mr *** and his boss said no to giving me my money back for the warranty because they already gave me a discount on the car. I didnt even ask for any discounts on the car. They charged me 4800.00 dollars for the warranty.

On February 15, 2022, me and my wife went to buy a car from this dealer
On February 15, 2022, me and my wife went to buy a car from this dealer. We spent a long time negotiating and found the same car online for $6000 less. The financial manager eventually lowered the price from 41k to $35990, but not before telling us to leave and stopping us when we tried to go. The scam happened when we were getting the loan. They extended the loan term from 72 months (6 years) to 75 months without me knowing, which adds extra money. Their tactic is to wear you out and then talk to you while you're signing the papers, making you think everything is settled as agreed. I might not get my money back for the 72 months we agreed on, but I want to inform others about how they're stealing from hardworking middle-class families. A car is the second biggest expense for many people, after a house, and it's what they rely on to commute to work and back every day.
Bought a 2008 *** X5 for cash on 2/28/2022
Bought a 2008 *** X5 for cash on 2/28/2022. We talked to the business for assistance. They said to come in and they'd fix it. The car's been in the shop since the 2nd day I got it. The dealership wouldn't pick up the car for me, so I had to drive at 20mph because that's its top speed. The sales manager denied me a loaner car because he didn't like my husband, even though I'm the one who bought the car. Their solution was to try and upsell me for over $9000. In the end, I've paid for a car I don't have because it's stuck in the dealer's lot (too scared to drive it back). Apart from the 15 pages of issues reported by the mechanics, the car doesn't have and won't pass emissions. I live in a county that requires emissions, so they made an illegal sale from the start. I really need help to resolve this situation, and others should be aware.
I traded in my 2018 Leaf lease and got a Rogue in October
I traded in my 2018 Leaf lease and got a Rogue in October . The dealership sent a check to NMAC instead of using their system, which NMAC says is not their normal way of doing things. They claim the check never arrived, so I had to chase it down with NMAC and AJ for months. Meanwhile, I got charged $350.48 for November on the Leaf. It took many phone calls and texts to make any progress. They told me that once the payoff went through, the extra money would cover my November payment and I would get a refund. But according to NMAC, they didn't receive the payoff until January. That's a long time for a car I turned in back in October. They also showed me that the Leaf had already been sold to someone else by then. NMAC says the dealership asked for another payoff quote on January 3rd, and it was $16,997. They sent a payoff of $17,365 to NMAC. NMAC then gave the dealership an overage payment of $368, but I haven't been refunded yet.
On Thursday Aug
On Thursday Aug. 12 2021 I bought a 2019 Ram 1500 Classic from *** Nissan Mall of Ga. When I checked the truck, I noticed a damaged spot on the display touchscreen. I reckon a Nissan worker touched a cigarette to the screen. I asked Billy Mrier if Nissan was gonna fix the touchscreen. Billy saw I was keen on the truck and started telling me that I could get a touchscreen on ebay for $25 and replace it myself. He scrolled through his cell phone and showed me a touchscreen he could buy for $27. I told Billy that I didn't wanna buy a truck that would make me spend a lot of money on fixing things. Billy went through his sales pitch again about how I could buy the touchscreen for $25, replace it myself, etc. As we talked about the price, I asked Billy once more if he would replace the touchscreen. He didn't answer but started his sales pitch again. Thinking he was telling me the truth about the replacement cost, I bought the truck. The actual cost was $1523.19.
Date 09/01 This dealership is really sketchy
Date 09/01 This dealership is really sketchy. I found a car I was super interested in, so interested that I drove two hours to get there. I tried and tried to get a price over the phone, but they wouldn't give it. So, I took a chance and went to see the car in person. When I got there, a guy greeted me and showed me the car. I was only there for like 2 minutes before they switched my salesperson to a lady. She was really rude and tried to take advantage of me because I'm young and this is my first car. When we talked about the price, I told her three times that I didn't want them to check my credit or finance through them. But she said I had to fill out a financing form to get the final price, which is a total lie. After doing some research, I found out that the dealership tried to charge me $5400 in hidden fees. They even ran my credit twice without my permission, even though I clearly told her not to do it.
We contacted Sutherlin Nissan 'bout a $7000 used Nissan Rogue they advertised
We contacted Sutherlin Nissan 'bout a $7000 used Nissan Rogue they advertised. When we got there, they showed us a $7500 estimate, but I showed 'em the email confirmin' the $7000 price. They kept sayin' the final price was $9390, which we kept questionin'. They wouldn't show us any paperwork 'cause it was for our 83-year-old mother who wasn't there. We expected the final number to change 'cause they started off wrong, and we wanted to make sure the fees were right. The price didn't change, and we asked multiple times for a breakdown of the fees, but they won't show us. Every time we ask, they send us statements with different sales prices. One said $8400, and another said $10,000. We paid 32% in fees and taxes, includin' 6-7% tax, but no one returns our calls or emails. This business is shady, and lots of employees seem to know it 'cause they won't be transparent. Diego *** and *** (finance) treated me like an idiot, ignorin' my questions and actin' like there's no breakdown of fees. The *** didn't return calls or emails.

Befor I went to go look at the car I specifically asked if there is anything wrong with it as all and I was told by multiple people including Manny that the car was in perfect condition. After a the trouble during signing I drove the car home and it started smoking to I drove it to auto zone to get the codes read and there were SEVERE engine issues that could have injured or even killed me if I kept driving it. And 2 days later when the manager was there I told him and he(Julian) said that he would get it fixed and I sit there for almost 2hoirs and he tells me it will take a few days so I leave and almost a week later I get my car back and it hadnt been touched by a mechanic at all all the same dangerous engine problems were still there. The next day I called he(Julian) wasnt there so 2days later I call and tell him whats wrong and he says it will cost like $1600 to fix then tells me we can go half or I can just return it. All this after promising to get it fixed and repaired. I wouldnt be this upset if I knew about the conditions before purchasing it and I wasnt lied to multiple times, abut what they were doing to my car and then they(Julian) started back tracking and changing what he originally agreed to and at this point I just want to talk to the principal.
This dealership wasn't transparent with the total price for internet sales
This dealership wasn't transparent with the total price for internet sales. They told me I had to drive in to get the final sale total. I wanted clearer pricing upfront and a salesperson to answer my questions since I live 3 1/2 hours away. Cass Warner was the first sales member to contact me after I inquired online, but he hasn't communicated with me since. I've also talked to two other sales team members with no luck. They don't call back, respond to texts, or emails. The sales team has failed to communicate properly with me through text, email, and phone. I was even pre-approved for a loan through the dealership, but they still didn't return my calls, emails, or texts in a timely manner, if at all. It seems like they didn't care about my business, even though I was looking to buy a new vehicle worth over $40k. This dealership needs to improve their sales and customer service, especially since the Titan line is struggling compared to other trucks in the market. In general, they'll honor the listed price, but they won't communicate or be transparent with pricing, just to make more money with someone else.
After they charged me $765 for a distributor replacement, and let me tell you, the distributor wasn't even timed right, idling all wonky between
After they charged me $765 for a distributor replacement, and let me tell you, the distributor wasn't even timed right, idling all wonky between *** and *** rpm. Nissan corporate office said a normal distributor change would cost around $400-450 depending on where you go. So, I drove my car for less than 4 miles from the dealership and suddenly, coolant was spraying everywhere. I had to get it towed back to the dealership, where they told me the hard coolant lines were cracked. When I mentioned that I couldn't afford the $1135 they quoted me to fix it, the CS manager immediately dropped the price to $606, without any argument or me asking for a discount. That's a lot less than what they charged me for a quick 30-minute distributor replacement, which had way less work involved. I said no thanks and paid to have my car towed home. When I checked it out, I noticed a hose clamp just hanging loose from its hose. None of the hard coolant lines were cracked, they all held pressure, and once I reassembled everything (after securing the hose clamp), my car had no coolant leaks and the cooling system held pressure just fine. I can't help but feel like this company messed with my car on purpose after massively overcharging me for labor on the previous job. They knew stuff about the manifold and coolant lines that they couldn't have known without taking it apart, even though they told me they didn't touch the manifold to replace the distributor. I found all this out during a phone call with the dealership while I was stuck on the side of the road with coolant spraying everywhere, right before I had to get it towed back to them. So, it's pretty clear that they lied to me about what they did under the hood, because they knew things about hidden parts under the manifold that they claimed they never touched...
Misrepresentation of vehicle I bought
Misrepresentation of vehicle I bought. Wrong info about extended warranty cancellation. No care after sale. I got a Certified used 2019 Nissan Pathfinder on 7/19 for $30,578. On 7/20, my salesman Sylvester called to finish the certification process. I thought it was already certified, so I asked if they sold uncertified cars. I called A.J., the sales mgr., to return the Pathfinder for a different one. Went back to Southerlin on 7/20 to talk to A.J. I told him I wasn't comfortable with the Pathfinder. He said they wanted me happy and would talk to the GM and Curt in finance. He suggested a Murano. (Curt wasn't working that day) Returned on 7/21. A.J. met me and said I could "trade" the Pathfinder but it'd cost $2000 more. Sent me to Curt in finance. I asked why the extra charge if both cars were similar price and mileage. He said the GM wanted more money. I was cornered and he knew it. He arranged a Test Drive for 2 days in a Murano. Returned on 7/23 & 7/24 to negotiate without success. On 7/24, I bought a 2019 Murano with 10K miles for $29,560. The 2019 Pathfinder with 10K miles was $30,578. Paid "$9000" down but after the "trade," balance was $30,665! $4000 would be refunded when extended warranty + service plan cancelled. Rest was fees + profit. Got a cancellation dated 7/28 listing JM&A as warranty company. Interest rate increased to 4.82%. I have 830 credit score. Told Curt I'd refinance, he said "Make 6 payments first." Not true. Gave GM Mr. a letter on 7/25, no response. He didn't care. Never called or emailed. Got a letter from SNMOG on 7/27 about tag. Went to tag office on 8/15. After 1 hr wait, told to contact dealer. Paperwork not done. No reason given. Contacted Curt, no response. Got payment book from Suntrust on 8/16. Checked with original lender Northwest, Pathfinder loan paid off on 8/5. Contacted JM&A to confirm warranty cancellation, no record. Called Curt, he said "Just a form we use." Misrepresented and unprofessional. Asked for written cancellation, no response. Felt uneasy about warranty on Murano, cancelled it on 8/22. Called NENSA on 8/26 to check warranty on Pathfinder, confirmed cancellation on AUGUST 15 not JULY 28 as told. This whole experience has been stressful. Still no $4000 refund. No tag for Murano. No response from Southerlin Nissan Mall of GA despite messages and detailed account of events. Unacceptable. Buying a car shouldn't be like this. I'm reasonable and treat others with respect. Good customer service should be appreciated. This experience is why used car salespeople have a bad rep. Southerlin Nissan earned it with indifference, unprofessionalism, and misrepresentation.
