Online transmission order
I purchased a transmission from this website for my 2001 Toyota Avalon. They charged over $600. Then, I discovered all the negative reviews and experiences about this company, so I canceled my order immediately. Nevertheless, they have an illegal statement in their agreement when you purchase that says:
"We can keep 25% of the value of your order even if we do nothing and you canceled immediately"

Lied about having a transmission for my 2014 subaru 2.0xt
Advertised that they had a 8speed 690 subaru transmission 2800 dollar. Called up, spoke to a warehouse manager. I specifically asked if had that trans mission, he said hold on a minute. Then told me he was looking right at the said transmission. I was in great shape and ready to ship. I say to the man really I just wanted to make sure you were some gypsy outfit just using the junkyard service link and adding a few dollars to it and having whoever ship and just broker the deal. Oh no, he replied, we have warehouses everywhere. Off we go [protected] # purchase cant wait be driving in no time. Lol then I read the reviews my heart sank because I already new and sure enough a month goes by oh we are washing it blay blay where now dyno testing it. As if this company actually owned a transmission dyno omg I almost cried at my own stupidity. For the wrap the gave me a refund minus a 20 percent restocking fee but of course it was closer to 22 percent, I feel lucky I got any money back. Hope this help read reviews before you buy stupid's and I include myself in that category.

purchased a transmission that failed before the warranty ran out
Purchased a Transmission for my vehicle 3/3/2022 at 63,560miles. Came with a 1 yr 12,000 mile warranty. On December 2nd of 2022 the transmission failed while driving with approximately 8,000 miles traveled (odometer at 71,552) and less than 1 yr. I called to get my transmission replaced and for them to pay for the labor as well. I sent emails on the 2nd and 5th of December as well. Was told by Alice via email that my claim was submitted on Dec 5th. I called twice again today the 16th of December and the 1st time was told someone would call me back in an hour. This was at 10:30am. No one called. Called back at 3:30pm and was told that they would send another email to the person who supposed to call me back at 11:30am today. I have been without the ability to drive my vehicle using all 6 gears in the transmission. I have no 5th or 6th gear and 1st and 2nd gear slam in when slowing to a stop.
Desired outcome: I just want my transmission replaced as promised and labor paid for by SW Transmission.

Transmission
I purchase a transmission for a 2015 nissan pathfinder on 4/25/2022 invoice # 394209 it cost me 1,695.00. i payed 1,200 to have it installed and later on realized after installation that the transmission was not good. I have contacted customer service multiple times for the past 6 months and nothing have reached out to the warranty department as well and nothing. they keep telling me i need to wait for the supervisor to approve my claim. I have to dispute with my bank to be refunded the original money i payed for the part (1,695) but still waiting on SW transmission to be responsible for the 1,200 i payed for labor to be installed. I contacted them again today on extension 2188 a supervisor who told me that he cannot do anything for me. And when i asked him why he had never return my callas and that i have left several messages for him he was rude and told me he was transferring me to the legal department frightening me. What kind of customer service is this that the answer they will give you is freighting you.
Desired outcome: refund of the labor cost of 1,200 so i can pay for the transmission to be installed again.
Transmission was broken
We have tried to get a refund, when Talked they charged 160$(for shipping) and

We were given Mr. JONES and Santos number. Still this is unresolved. Mr Jones never return calls. Other people on the main numbers hang up on you. This is HORRIBLE customer service and Rob people!

Being lied to about transmission
I paid right at 2100 almost a month ago for a used transmission they keep giving me the runaround about when it's going to ship I do believe these people are part of an international used auto parts scamming ring that extends beyond the US soil and it is my intention if so to bring it down I want my transmission and I'm tired of being lied to I do not want my money back because that's how the scam works they keep 25% for restocking fee if it's not resolved in the next couple of days I will be calling Federal authorities and cyprime units all I want is my transmission that they said would have to me within 14 business days they're 14 business days is up I'm not playing the game any longer

Wrong transmission received no refund given
Late July 2022, after searching the internet I purchased a transmission online from SW transmission for a 1996 Isuzu trooper and I had it shipped to the shop that would be installing it. The mechanic called me when it arrived and was ready for install to tell me it was a Ford transmission and would not work for my Isuzu. I called SW immediately and talked to the customer service. They showed no real concerns for such a mistake. They did finally offer a replacement or refund. I opted for a refund and was told to fill out the information in the email they would send me and that I had to provide pictures to prove it was the wrong one to start the process. I did this the very next day. I then called them again and was told I would not get my refund until they get the transmission back. I have had to call multiple times a week to get some kind of answers that have not been helpful. I've spoken with Sancho a few times? and several other employees who tell me to leave a voicemail for the manger who has yet to call me back. The company they use for shipping will not communicate over the phone. Only text or email. I have been without my vehicle for almost a month now. I am on a fixed income and have health/medical issues. I rely on this vehicle to get back and forth to my Drs appts through out the month. Its been over 2 weeks trying to get the shipping company to show up to get the transmission. I receive emails stating they tried and the business was closed. SW transmission have no answered the phone at all this week. I have now seen so many horrible reviews about SW transmission from people being scammed as I have from this company

January 2022
The first week of January I purchased a Mini Cooper S engine with 50,000 miles for 4,000 grand. The engine finally arrived mid February But the engine was unable to start up in the car this was due to the engine being faulty, having a low compression. This meant we had to send the engine back and sw transmissions needed to make a payment to my mechanic, due to them installing the engine and having to take it out because it was faulty. It took the company till the end of March to finally contact me and inform me about the next shipping of a new engine to replace their faulty one that they provided me with.
May 2022
The engine finally came after ordering it in January. Looking forward to finally picking up my car only to find out my mechanic can not release my car until SW TRANSMISSIONS pays them for the first engine installation of work labour. I have tried multiple times to contact Sancho and SW TRANSMISSIONS. As a company they are very unprofessional, they lack communication, the fault any type of system in helping their customers, their engines are faulty. They need to take responsibility as a company and pay for the warranty bill to my mechanic which was promised when I first purchased the engine back in January. If anyone knows how to get hold of this company to make this final payment please let me know. But for now please never purchase something from this company they will provide you with your item 6 months later with no communication of any process and the engine might not even work. Transmission
I had my mechanic order a tranny for a 2004 Honda pilot, it finally arrived after a month. When he received it, it was strapped to a busted up pallet, some of the straps were loose, the tranny hadn't been cleaned or tested, the torque converter was jammed into the tranny sideways so hard it couldn't be removed, the support bar is cut from the original vehicles and is corroded in place on this tranny, the oil in the tranny is black.
I have been trying to get a response from them for about a month for a refund, they just keep giving me the run around.
Desired outcome: Want all my money back with no shipping fees or restocking fees
Rip off and wont communicate
Ordered my tranny back in oct 21 took about a month to arrive when it did arrive it had broken bolts all over it. I contacted SW and they agreed to send a replacement about 2 weeks later. This company is terrible at communicating they finally sent a replacement in Jan 2022 when it arrives on the freight truck im looking at it and its a different transmission than what i have. It has extra hose ports on the side mine doesnt have and the numbers are different so i refuse shipment. I contact them asking for a refund so i cant get my truck fixed at this point its been on jack stands almost 4 months waiting on these people. They only refunded $875 of the $1820 i spent with them. Saying the second tranny they sent was the exact same as what i have so they are charging me fees.

I ordered a transmission for my mercury mountaineer and almost 2 weeks go by and still hadnt been shipped.I emailed them for a status and waited 2 business days,no reply. Then I decided to call.I stayed on a while waiting to speak to someone so I could cancel.After a day or so I get an email saying theres been a delay on my transmission as if I hadnt called to cancel. I paid 1095 but got back 821.Thats not fair when they had not even shipped anything. Im out of money and my vehicle still cant be moved. I ordered a transmission for a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee in October 2021. They shipped an old greasy transmission that was painted orange with all the cables hacked off. It had not been cleaned or tested. My mechanic informed me it was a transmission for a Dodge Truck. They claimed my mechanic did'nt know what he was talking about, he has been doing transmissions for 35 yrs. Sent the transmission back told them I wanted a refund. They jacked me around between 8 different people and never answered the phone. After 2 mths they refunded me $200 out of $1500 and said I had to pay for freight charges and restocking fee. Don't buy anything from these people the whole business is a scam. Look at their reviews and you will see this is true. They have been doing this to people for a long time' It's a shame these people can do business in this country. They need to be shut down.
I ordered a transmission and 2 weeks went by and nothing came.I emailed them to get a shipping status and waited 2 business days for a reply so the 3rd day I called stayed on hold awhile and said I want a refund.The 5th day I get a reply saying theres been a delay on my shipping although I already asked for a refund.Once I got the refund of course it was damn near 300 taken and thats not cool.I know they say 25% if cancelled but damn how long was I suppose to wait.I shouldve read all the reviews first.Ill never try to buy anything from them again.They make money by messing over people.Bad business!
Transmission/Unethical Behaviour
I was interested in purchasing a transmission for my 2004 Toyota Sienna so I called SW Transmissions to inquire on June 1, 2021. They had one available; I gave my Credit Card Information over the phone, but I did not have my mechanic's shipping address so the Rep I was speaking with said she'd send me an email where I can fill out the shipping address. The email they sent me included and invoice # of 374581. I contacted my mechanic by voicemail and was waiting to hear back from him. In the meantime, I researched SW Transmissions and found that they had several complaints from customers.
So, I called them back literally less than an hour later to cancel my order; it took several tries before I was able to speak to somebody that could help me; they sent me an email that had an option that said "Click Here to Authorize Order Cancellation" of which I did. There was no follow up after that so I kept checking my credit card and there was no refund transaction ever made. So, on June 21, 2021 I called my Credit Card Company to dispute the charges; they were able to credit my account for all except $430 which the merchant referred to as a re-stock fee; I never even provided my shipping address so I thinks it's unethical of this merchant to charge $430 restock fee when I hadn't even completed the transaction.

Please don't use SW transmission, it's a bunch of thieves and crooked hide somewhere to steal people's money, I purchased a transmission from them, first off I pay for the transmission, they shipped the wrong transmission, so I called them about the wrong transmission, so I sent it back, the transmission was 700, I lost the money, and I lost the transmission please guys aware of those people. Received Incorrect transmission on 3/8/21. Contacted SW Transmission and was connected to Sancho in Customer Service, (Sancho Customer service [protected] EXT. 2188, [protected]@autopartsemail.biz). Sancho Informed me that SW transmission shipped the incorrect item. I was sent a Return Pick thru R/L Carriers and on 3/12/21 that items was returned to SW Transmission WEB PRO #WF9235926.
On 3/18/21 I received the replacement transmission.

After immediately receiving the second item I contacted SW transmissions to inform them this appeared to be an incorrect item. The Transmission looked similar however the Production number was not the same as what i originally ordered. I received an Email back from Dale @ SW Transmissions asking me to have it installed reassuring me that this would work in the vehicle.

The Shipping Department
I had a local ASE certified transmission shop install the item for a cost of $750.00. however after it was installed I was told that this was the wrong transmission for the car and is not compatible.
I reached out several times to SW transmissions however the company will no longer respond to calls or emails.
After the diagnosis I had the car towed, for a cost of $150.00, to my local Dodge Dealership. The dealership performed a double check diagnosis and they reached the same conclusion as the ASE trans shop. Similar transmission that was manufactured for a different vehicle and was not compatible.
Now exhausted and not having a vehicle for almost 2 months, I purchased an re-manufactured transmission direct from Dodge and had the Dealership install it. The total cost was $4, 266.00.
Desired outcome: Would like original purchased price and install amount refunded $1,470.00

This is a total scam! They never answer the phone at all they have lack of communication. I got a broken transmission they sent me a replacement i'm still waiting for it is been a month and they won't refund you back your full amount. They are poor at costumer service they suck save yourself time and stress and money don't buy from this website ever!
Tranny 1994 pontiac grand prix se coupe
I provided SW Transmission with Make, Model, Year, and VIN # of my car, as required by them to provide the correct transmission. They sent the wrong transmission, because the tranny mounts were completely different than my car. I contacted them. They wanted pics. I contacted them. Now they wanted my VIN # again. I contacted them with several emails. No response. The tranny they sent is sitting in my mechanic's shop. SW has not said when they will pick it up. They have not said they will refund the money I paid for the tranny I ordered. Cindy @ [protected], ext. 4005 neither responds to my emails, but consistently sends me to be put on hold on her supervisor's phone. I left a message for him and he didn't get back to me. I'm out $700, no running car, no communication, and no answer regarding my refund.
Desired outcome: Refund. I don't want a replacement from the same company that screwed up the first order.

Along with all the other reviews, I cancelled my order invoice# 337373 a few days after ordered and I still haven't received my refund. Whenever I call, I'm on hold for at least twenty minutes and then the phone hangs up. When and if I do speak with someone before even hearing me out they transfer me to another department that never responds, this has been going on for weeks!

Swtransmissions is a scam company. They charged me 1500 dollars for a used transmission that was supposed to have been checked and ran fine. When my mechanic received it it had parts of the transmission in the pan. So I had them send me a replacement. That one was in worse condition than the first. So I ask for a refund. They refunded 330 dollars. I plan on getting a lawyer and putting this company out of business.
