Unprofessional and unaccommodating
We had the worst experience under Tech Travel. The owner was completely unaccommodating when we stated that the listing at Sea Rocket was not accurate to the actual location. Not once did he apologize, yet he proceeded to gaslight us into believing that the description was accurate and we were wrong. The listing stated Directly on the beach and proceeded to display photos of the balcony and corresponding apartments with beach front views. When we arrived this was not the case. We received an apartment along the side with a view of the side of a building. We stressed this to Brandon, the owner, who did nothing but accuse us of causing a problem. Additionally, we did not have hot water during our stay. We will never stay with any of Tech Travels locations again. They have no satisfaction clause and will not accommodate if you are unhappy with the results. They take your money and forget about you. Please beware if you plan on booking with this company. Do your research. We did after the fact and noticed that others have posted on Better Business Bureau and Google expressing similar experiences. So proceed with extreme caution.

Me and my fam rented a house (it was more like a mansion) in Tierra Verde for two weeks in Feb. The house was everything they said it would be and more. Tech Travel was super responsive to all our needs, even when we had trouble with the electronics (their guy spent two hours teaching us how to use everything) and a little issue with the pool heat. They even answered our calls after hours and sent people out right away. The owner is really involved in the biz and has a great right-hand lady (Vivian) who's awesome. I'd def recommend this company for any rentals and I'm gonna use them again myself.

I'm so frustrated with Tech Travel, LLC. I booked a vacation for my family, but we had some money problems and I had to cancel. They charged me $552+ right away, which is a lot of money! I tried to call and explain my situation, but they didn't want to help me at all. I'm so upset because now my kids won't have a fun vacation. I won't ever use them again and I don't think they care because they already got my money and will probably get even more from someone else.

To book this property, you gotta go through TechTavel.com. When I called, the girl wasn't sure about the down payment but took my info, including my credit card. I didn't think much of it since hotels always ask for a credit card. They said the finance department would call me the next day, but they didn't. So I called them the next day, about 36 hours later. I talked to the boss, Brandon T., who said I had to pay in full and there would be no refunds for cancellations. I told him I couldn't stay there because I'm a frontline worker, a nurse practitioner, and with the pandemic, I might have to cancel if I got sick with COVID. Brandon said he understood and asked me to send an email, which I did the same day.
I DIDN'T sign anything or pay anything yet. But less than 48 hours later, they charged me a cancellation fee of $295.30 on my card. I told my card not to pay it. Later that day, they tried to charge the full amount of my stay on my credit card, TWICE. This is terrible, and I hope they haven't done this to other frontline workers who deserve a break.
This place was a total disaster
This place was a total disaster. We were so pumped to hang with our buds, but we didn't even notice the pool filter wasn't working from day 1. By day 2, the pool was getting murky and the air conditioner on the first floor was stuck at 80°. We called TechTravel's customer service a bunch of times, but they didn't have any solutions. They just told us to wait while they tried to fix it remotely. Like, seriously? Everyone knows you can change the temperature on an air conditioner remotely. Why are they renting us a house if they're gonna control the air conditioner themselves? Anyway, they didn't fix it until the 3rd day, and then the air conditioner on the 2nd floor started acting up. We had 4 kids with us, and they were all super uncomfortable. We had to call every other hour to get something fixed. It was a total nightmare. The pool filter didn't get fixed until the day before we left, so we only got to use it for one day out of five. And the air conditioners were working however they wanted. One of them was broken and got fixed during the week. The bathroom sinks, showers, and toilets were all half *** too. It was a total mess. For the amount of money they charge, they should at least have the house actually working. We're never coming back here again. It's a shame that Airbnb even has them listed. Sorry, but this was a shameful experience.

My sister was all set to celebrate her 50th birthday at a lovely property on Treasure Island, but Tech Travel ruined everything. They called her up and said the air conditioning was busted, so we couldn't stay there. My husband offered to fix it, but they said no. Instead, they offered us two other places, but they weren't what we wanted. We needed one big unit for all of us, not separate apartments. We were in a bind, so we took what we could get. Misty Isles on Redington Shores was a dump (see the pic). When my sister asked for a refund, they gave her some lame coupons for activities.
On the way to the store, we saw people going in and out of the Treasure Island property. We knocked on the door of our unit and found people inside having a blast. They said the AC was working fine. We knew Tech Travel had lied to us. They gave our place to someone else who wanted it longer. When we confronted them, they denied everything, even though we had pics of the people in the house. Don't trust these guys!

Tech Travel rented my place to people with 3 pigs. They didn't ask us if it was okay and we only agreed to 2 pets. We found out from another tenant that they had 3 pigs and 2 dogs. They overcharged us for services and the billing was confusing. They argued with us about everything and were very unprofessional. We suspect fraud. They didn't respond to our calls. This is the worst company we've ever used.

They won't work with us on a refund saying we didn't follow the rental agreement. That's not true. I emailed them 2 days before we left. I have emails and pics to prove it. Don't do biz with them, they're super unprofessional.
