I've been an owner in our condo since it opened 3 years ago
I've been an owner in our condo since it opened 3 years ago. The Management Trust has been in charge of our building since the beginning, but we've been having more and more problems lately. There have been several instances where they've broken the contract, like mishandling the HOA funds, mishandling employees, and neglecting building maintenance.
I've been livin' in my condo that I own for a good 10 years now
I've been livin' in my condo that I own for a good 10 years now. But in the past year, The Management Trust has gone and towed my cars a whopping 4 times, even after we had multiple conversations about gettin' it sorted out. And if that ain't enough, they went and hacked away at all the bushes 'round my house when all I wanted was for the gardener to clean up the dead debris. This whole ordeal has caused me to lose out on wages, miss job interviews, shed some pounds, and deal with some serious emotional stress. I've tried reachin' out to 'em, but all I get is the runaround and gettin' ignored.
I'm payin' $268 every month to The Management Trust - Transpacific
I'm payin' $268 every month to The Management Trust - Transpacific. I expect 'em to fix things quick and keep me in the loop 'bout what's goin' on with my property. The problem is that they ain't fixed my work order in the past 2 months. There's a leaky water control pipe that's spewin' out gallons of water every day, and it's seepin' into the ground of my property. I reckon it's causin' damage, 'cause the plants 'round the pipe are dyin' from bein' too wet. The work order has been stuck in the "review request - assigned to manager" stage for a whole month now, and nothin's been done 'bout it. I've tried reachin' out through different channels, but no one's gettin' back to me. I've left voicemails, but no callbacks. And my emails have been straight up ignored. Even their online portal shows the work orders just sittin' there with no resolution. The work order number is XN2843553.

On 7/20, I rented a condo and The Management Trust provided services
On 7/20, I rented a condo and The Management Trust provided services. On that day, my car got towed even though I had an expired parking permit displayed. Unfortunately, the new permit was only delivered the next day. The Management Trust has Patrol Masters who are responsible for flagging vehicles to be towed (although it was towed by a different company than the one listed on the property). While waiting for the Patrol Masters to conduct a "garage inspection," it seems that a new safe list code was sent to the homeowner but not to the tenants. This is strange because The Management Trust was aware of my identity and had been in contact with me previously. They are blaming both the patrol masters and the homeowner for this situation. However, I believe I had every right to park in the permitted spot, and the patrol masters take orders from The Management Trust. I am now seeking reimbursement for the $281 I had to pay for the unlawful tow by a company not listed on the property site.
On 7/19, I sent a message to my HOA (Management Trust) asking about when the parking lines in the guest parking area would be painted
On 7/19, I sent a message to my HOA (Management Trust) asking about when the parking lines in the guest parking area would be painted. It's been really frustrating to see one of our neighbors (746 N ***) parking his personal vehicle in a way that takes up two spots and acting like it's his own parking space. He does this every week when he leaves his house, making it impossible for visitors to find a spot. I've attached pictures of both his vehicles. It would be really great if someone could remind everyone in the community about the parking rules. It's especially hard for guests, especially those who have disabilities, as they can't walk long distances. I have to ask them to park in front of the property and then move their car to a spot further away. I've tried calling again to follow up, but no one has gotten back to me yet.
I got a condo managed by The Management Trust - Transpacific
I got a condo managed by The Management Trust - Transpacific. My kitchen got water damage from a backup in the building's pipes, and it's their job to fix it. They set up a remediation on 01/19, where they cut down the drywalls and removed the cabinets to check for mold. Now, it's their responsibility to repair the walls they took out. But, I've been emailing The Management Trust like crazy because they haven't reached out to schedule the repairs. My kitchen is dangerous right now because the countertops are on wobbly posts. This not only causes cracks, but it also puts us at risk of the countertops falling on us while we're in the kitchen. I can't even install cabinets until the walls are fixed, but The Management Trust isn't responding to my emails or voicemails. They never answer the phone and have been completely unresponsive. It's been more than two weeks, and they still haven't scheduled the repairs.
I been tryin to reach the management for 7 days
I been tryin to reach the management for 7 days. My car is at the dealership gettin fixed (I got service records) and Ive been given a rental in the meantime. It gonna take 2 weeks to a month to get fixed. I was in touch with Patrol Masters that safelisted my vehicle until Monday and gave me the companys number and the managers number. I been callin, leavin voice messages and even texted the number the recording suggests will get me assistance. Nothin has worked. I cannot park outside in the public park parking. It unsafe for anyone at night and additionally Im an actual resident and have paid for my permit. I am not tryin to break any law or be difficult. Its as simple as, the rental needs to park in front of my house as I wait for my car to get fixed. The towing for this community is exploitative and I am not payin $450 in case it gets towed. I have reached out and made all attempts to resolve this in a timely manner. If the towing company cannot take a break for a night then maybe our management company should not either. In the past, the tow truck has rammed into parked cars while tryin to tow cars away and the cops were called for a hit and run. People have stated as their card details bein stolen after makin a payment to Athenian. This HOA is not supposed to be treated like this. Just because some residents are not board members, their needs should not be ignored. We are bein managed by a ghost company. The pool has not been cleaned last year. The trash days have been changin to different days and then we have been gettin citations. Is the management aware that the trash schedule has been off? During Covid we are all strugglin so much however this community just does not care and where it counts and it needs to help, there is no way of contactin them. They are unable to help us due to Covid delay but dont reciprocate that consideration. They have made themselves inaccessible. After a week, I do not understand what I can do.
