watch battery replacement
Hi, On the 7th November Timpsons in Tesco Havant fitted a new battery to my Rotary watch. I had removed the back having intended to replace the battery myself but did not have the right one hence my visit to Timpson’s.
The watch was working when I left the store (I paid for a lifetime battery £24.95) but upon reaching home it had stopped. I returned to store but was advised that there was a fault with the watch but he was only ‘level 1 trained’ and that I needed to return the next day to see Daryl which I duly did.
Daryl had been left a note to expect me and was of the opinion that one of the hands was probably a little bent up or down and was catching causing the movement to stop. I accept that this may well be the explanation but was disappointed not to be offered a refund. I now have a lifetime battery guarantee on a broken watch quite possibly beyond economic repair. My shoes for repair
My name is Petya Vachkova. There were many customers in the store. He told me he would fix my shoes in 45 minutes after he was done with the woman before me with her shoes. I went out for 30 seconds and came back and I want my shoes back on. The reason was that I didn't want to wait for the person, he was very nervous. I didn't want it to ruin my shoes because they expensive from Aldo. He told me to come back in 30 minutes. I left the store and stood outside for less than 5 minutes. I came back and told him I don't want you to do them to me just give them to me. He made the woman's shoes. I thought he didn't touch my shoes. I took my shoes with the bag. And later I saw that he had removed the corks and had scratched the entire end of one shoe. He just ruined it. I went back and asked for an explanation. He was laughing, rude and making fun of me. I'm sending a picture. And the name of the person and the place. Terrible service and ruined my shoes.

Watch repair
On 21st January this year, I brought my Rotary watch into your store in the Tesco Woolwell development, and asked that it be investigated, as it was continually stopping, despite new batteries being installed. Your very helpful colleague, Rhiannon, informed me that it was likely that the movement would need replacing. I accepted the quote, also for a new glass, as the existing one was quite scratched. The quote I was given was £131.90, but this was discounted to £115. I picked up the watch about a week later, all apparent good, no problems. The watch has performed as expected, until I went swimming for the first time about 2 weeks ago, when it was apparent that there was water ingressing onto the face. I brought the watch back into the store on Friday 5th, and explained the problems to Rhiannon, who said she would send it back to b pressure tested.
I called in today, and your staff member, who, I’m afraid ultimately refused to give me his name, informed me that the watch has failed the pressure test, and that Timpsons, (or at least him) could do nothing more! So, fait accompli, I have been charged £115 to upgrade my watch which, had I been told might not have been returned waterproof, as was the original position when the watch was submitted for a new movement and glass. I was not told that that might be a risk, if I had known that the waterproofing could not be re-established, I would not have spent £115 on a repair, when I could have spent that money on buying an alternative, waterproof watch.
In summary, I am extremely unhappy that I have been let down by Timpsons, at the very least I expect a partial refund for a repair that has left me with a sub-standard product which I was not informed might be the case. In addition, I will say that your member of staff in the kiosk today, 15th May) was incredibly unhelpful, and dismissed of my concerns.

white parka with black trims around the sleeves and pockets.
Took it to dry class recommended by the Label. I live in United Kingdom and the dry cleaners I used are very popular in London. However after they dry cleaned my coat the black rims on my pockets and sleeves left stained black marks on my coat. They tried to remove these marks but this didn't work. They now say that it is a manufacture fault as they followed their instructions to dry clean my coat. The company I used is called TIMPSON address is: TIMPSON Ltd. Established 1903. Please can you advise me if this is a manufacturer fault as the black colour trimmings around the jackets when washed or wet let's o a black colour and as a ta result stained my coat as it is white. If necessary you can contact TIMPSON and discuss this issue with them.
