I drove my car to Tire Plus on 662 Thornton Road, Lithia Springs, GA on Wednesday afternoon, October 16, 2024. My check tires light was on and there was a nail in my left front tire. The service clerk told me that it would be 2 hours before my car could be seen and suggested that I make an appointment for the following morning. Since it was late afternoon, i made an appointment for 10:00 am for Thursday, October 17, 2024. I arrived at my appointment at 10:00 am. The service clerk checked me in, got my keys and asked me to me seated. At 11:20 and my car had not been moved the place I parked it, I approached the service clerk and asked when my car was going back because I had made an appointment to avoid a lengthy wait. He went back to the service area and returned and told me my car would be next. 45 minutes later my car was driven to the service area. I had another appointment at 1:00 pm several miles away, so I called and cancel when it became apparent that I could not make it. The service clerk called me up to the counter at 12:20 pm to inform me that I needed a new tire since the nail was on the edge of the tire; he actually showed me the picture of the tire. I decided to purchase another tire. The service person assured me that it would only take a few minutes to replace the tire. He was correct. I saw my car leave the service area and it was visible on the side of the building. I waited for the service person to call me up to get my car. I waited for 12 minutes, then I went to the service counter to inquire about the car. A different service came to the counter; I told me it looked like my car was ready, so he retrieved my paperwork from a window and checked me out at 1:15 pm. I was in the store for 3 hrs. and 15 minutes to get 1 new tire. This was not good customer service. I chose to make an appointment so I could make the best use of my time. I am complaining because this scenario shows no respect for the customer's time and schedule. I have been a loyal customer of Tire Plus for years and I was disappointed with the service I received.
