TNT Holdings delivery from germany to malta

Item picked up in Mannheim Germany on Monday January 1st, delivery on Malta was due in Wednesday. Since then I get erratic information, for instance "item last seen in Marseille", item spotted in Liege, item x-rayed in Malta. Fact seems to be that TNT do not no where the 500 € worth item is and if and whe it will ever reach me. They send email occasionally maintaining they were still my reliable carrier.

TNT Holdings delivery failed

I ordered a game from shopto.net and was told the delivery would be issued by TNT. On the day of the delivery I was guaranteed that I would receive the game in the time window of 12:00 am and 18:00 pm. at 17:50 pm after checking the status of the parcel i was shocked to find that it was returned to the depot in Deeside, I quickly rang TNT and was told the driver in question ran out of driving hours and that i MAY receive my package tomorrow even thought the guarantee states and I quote "Express Guaranteed next day delivery before close of business" which they denied to be true PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do yourselves a favour and dont use this company you may never receive your package i know i never will again.

TNT Holdings COD INSTEAD OF DOD

with reference to the above mentioned subject, I would like to draw your kind attention towards this, that we shipped the consignment in the favaour of M/s Grace Aircon, mumbai through TNT Cargo Through Docket Number [protected],
the instruction were clearly mentioned on the docket itself that DRAFT ON DELIVERY for 63562/-, but what we received was

16-06-2011 COD (CHEQUE ON DELIVERY) reced & Deposited Rs 63, 562/-

18-06-2011 COD Ch No-633826 Drawn on Syndicate Bank of Rs 63, 562/- Bounced due to stop payment.
this is the issue, where due to the negligence of the operational staff in Mumbai India. and now they are not helping us in getting the payments and just withdrawing them selfs from there Liability.

I booked a shipment with TNT after getting a quote of Rs 7500 for a 35 kg shipment from Hong kong. THe shipper short shipped and sent only 29 kg. Now TNT says that even though we shipped less they want ot charge 16000 Rs. There was nothing in the offer that indicated this clause or anything to this effect. We would have added a brick or dummy weight. Why should we have to pay double for less weight. Is this not a plain case of cheating...

TNT is a big company but their employees who deliver goods are illetrate, i can bet i can make them fool whenever, as they even dont know difference of a DD and CHEQUE.

TNT Holdings lousy "service"

TNT "service" just keeps getting worse!

TNT Cambodia quoted me a $5/kg rate for a shipment (door-to-door) from Cambodia to Rochester, NY. Shipment was logged in at 528.4kg (US$2642). When they picked it up on 6/15, they issued an invoice for US$3006.96 and have yet to give me a reason for the increase. Shipment arrive in LAX on the 17th (not at all unreasonable), but the "formal entry" was not issued until the 22nd, which meant the shipment did not clear Customs until the 25th (a Saturday). Meanwhile, TNT Customer "service" continues to say that it will be delivered by EOD on the 28th (not unless they suddenly perfected transporter technology!). They never got it to the domestic trucking company (Con-Way) until late afternoon on the 27th, and Con-Way tells me when their driver showed up the shipment was not ready. As a result, Con-Way (who had initially pegged delivery as 7/1) missed that day's east-bound truck and had to delay an entire day, meaning that (due to the 4th of July holiday) it won't deliver until 7/5.

I recommend that NOBODY use TNT for ANY shipments!

I can only hope that TNT actually monitors what people are saying about them and actually would DO something about it. But that's probably too much to expect!

I have the same issue with you about TNT! Supplier sent me 2 parcel (together) on 23rd from New Zealand, and now is already 29th, the parcel has yet to reach me in Malaysia! Check from TNT tracking website, it said 1 parcel landed in Singapore for 4 days but is not sent out to Malaysia yet. And further shocking is that another parcel is sill in Aukland, New Zealand. I sware togod, I will never NEVER NEVER use TNT in future! Period! I blamed my supplier for using TNT against my advise to use Fedex or DHL instead!

I have dealt with TNT for over a year. They have a culture of fraud embeded in the company. They try through every possible tactit overcharge. Trying to resolve overcharging is a difficult process. Plus there service is absolutly appalling . TNT is just a dishonest company who lie and cheat to there customers, overcharge them and then you have to prove...

TNT Holdings worst service - wasted money

We paid $130 for an item to be delivered on "overnight First-class" from Sydney to Perth and it wasn't delivered until two days later. We weren't notified and as such, this meant that we had to pay to have the item sent back to Sydney because the person it was being sent to had already left Perth.
When I rang to ask for a refund, I was told to wait until we received an invoice. Six weeks later, we have still not received an invoice and after numerous frustrating phone calls, being promised someone will call back (who, of course, never does) I was very rudely told today that "Overnight first-class" has a "flexible time-frame" that could include the following day and was told we are not entitled to a refund.
I will never use this company for anything again and I hope no one else has to waste so much time chasing something like this up!

TNT Holdings how tnt express india takes it's customer for a ride

This pertains to TNT Express in India ( Bangalore office), regarding their unfair practices (rather atrocities) in India towards their paying customers.

Recently we received a shipment through TNT Express from Taiwan, the product is non branded CCTV cameras.

TNT while filling has used wrong HS Code and product description which pertains to Digital Cameras, so the customs has not agreed to invoice value ( which is very obvious because you can not get Digital Cameras at CCTV Camera price). The customs has loaded value on our invoice value and levied extra duty which is 200% more than normal duty ( around 15k)

TNT has paid this extra duty with out even contacting us or asking any documents from us and now are demanding extra duty from us to deliver the products.

We questioned TNT if there was a objection from Indian customs on invoice value why TNT did not contact us and seek our opinion on customs objection, TNT is not able to answer to date

In past it has happened with DHL where they promptly called us and we provided bank proof and customs agreed for the price in the invoice.

I would like to check with fellow members dose any one have a similar experience, what are the options we have now ? yes challenging TNT legally will be like David Fighting Goliath.

We has a company has decided to never use TNT service again.

We sincerely hope the CEO of TNT International or Country head of TNT responds through this forum, If so we are more than happy to provide more details.

Dear All

TNT has a rule who is their customer they make blunder mistakes and never agree to it.

they dont even realize what customer is paying for it . they dont have idea customer have to pay off all their profits of shipment just because of their poor communication and poor services,

and custom department is also a big fool they dont even see what the parcel has got .

I really hate TNT, they have also done same with me 2 times.

TNT Holdings legally complete a delivery, sends it to the wrong state, and expects customer to fix it

TNT Express' NYC branch offered to ship products I purchased from another company for over six hundred dollars. They were tasked with delivering the product to the city of Guadalajara, in the State of Jalisco, Mexico.

TNTE's first mistake was taking the contract. As a courier, they have no legal right to carry over a certain dollar figure in Mexico. Customs impounded the perfectly legal purchase.

Their second mistake was not telling me; I found out by the web.

I then contacted the company. The first CSR spent about five minutes quibbling because she wanted to prove me wrong when I said the goods were in the wrong State. They are; the goods were held up in Mexico City, Distrito Federal, Mexico. That's the wrong State. The CSR seemed to believe that insisting the customer was wrong for using the word State to refer to an Estado (as in Estados Unidos de Mexico, the United States of Mexico, the country's full name) was somehow a way to avoid responsibility.

The next CSR asked if I'd kindly drive from Guadalajara to Mexico City and get the package myself. Apparently a few hundred miles of mountain roads shouldn't be considered an inconvenience.

I finally spoke with a senior company official. The company official revealed TNT Express was not authorized to carry goods from Mexico City across Mexico City. Had they sent the goods from their hub in Miami directly to Guadalajara, the goods would be held in GDL at the Airport. This would be acceptable; I could retrieve it from the airport. Instead, my goods were impounded by customs because TNT is not authorized to transfer them across Mexico.

Let me restate that: TNT sent my goods to the wrong city in the wrong state and had them held for duties halfway across the country. They did not even know they had no right to deliver goods across Mexico, even though they offer shipping throughout the country. The company does NOT know the regulations of its own industry.

TNT offered two possible resolutions; I could either hire an agent and pay for them to release my goods from customs, then let them be delivered across Mexico, or I could have them returned to the US and sent back to GDL for delivery at the airport. I asked for the goods to go back to Miami.

Instead, agents began contacting me to ask for money for customs. The fees were far higher than any duties I've ever paid for similar products. TNT had promised to pay for the commissions these agents charge by reimbursing me. Needless to say, this statement has no credibility at this point.

TNT E, when you have a customer whose package is in the wrong city, don't argue geography with them. Don't ask them to go get it themselves in their car. Don't expect them to pay agents to fix your mess. Know the laws of a nation before you get your customer's merchandise impounded by customs. Correct the issue and make good on the delivery you promised.

Everyone else, find another courier.

TNT Holdings fraud craigs list

Here are the emails I received this week. After reviewing the emails on this website they are almost identical. I was ready to go to Western Union and make the transaction when the woman at the register suggested before I do this - "go home and double check".. Thank you Lady at the Giant Grocery Store -- check this out.
The MacBook Air is still available, but I'm currently in London, United Kingdom. Because of the financial crisis, I lost my job in United States and I had to move at my sister in London ( here I found a good job ) .
I don't need the laptop anymore so I tried to sell the laptop locally, but with no luck. I was offered silly money for the laptop because of issues like - it is a US version or the warranty doesn't work here or that it has a US keyboard format. That's why I'm trying my luck in the US.
I hope you are still interested. The laptop was bought brand new from Apple a 6 months ago. I have attached some pics with it to this email.
About the laptop I can say it is 6 months old and it is in good shape, no scratches, no dents as you can see from the pics I've sent. Included in the $340 price is everything the laptop came with when it was new, including the original manuals and warranty papers. The warranty is fully transferable to the new owner.
The laptop is here with me in UK.
I tried to be as thorough as I could with the presentation so you can have all the info if you decide to go ahead and buy it.
Please get back to me and let me know if you like the laptop if you're really interested in buying it.

TNT Holdings Piece of [censor]

Repeatedly called the TNT service hotline, said on the consignment note 7am-7pm daily, over almost a whole week i called well within 9am-5pm to schedule redelivery no one bothered to pick up the phone. Then almost a week had gone I was left a message to call another number instead, which again was very hard to call through. When indeed re-delivery was scheduled, the re-delivery never came. The tracking just stopped at 'Freight in Transit.' 2 days later I called again to be informed that they didn't know where the parcel was. Just couldn't find it in the depot either. Promised to call back to update but didn't happen. I'd to call again the next day to be told they'd found it, at another depot. By then a week and a half had passed already since the supposed arrival date. Just couldn't trust them anymore, I went to pick up myself, and after a long period of waiting (30mins - gone in with just my consignment note and took so long to come out), the unfriendly staff came out with my parcel torn to pieces. The stuff inside was scratched, and the parts needed to assemble it were gone. Now awaiting customer service to call me back for reimbursement. Wow, 'Express' delivery huh, at a took-longer-than-normal-Post, appalling-service, damaged-goods guarantee. Disgusting.

The laptop is still available, but I'm currently in London, England. Because of the financial crisis, I lost my job in United States and I had to move at my sister in United Kingdom ( here I found a good job ) .
The laptop is in perfect condition, and I will sell it only in US because here the warranty and the AppleCare are US registered. I am selling the laptop because I don't use it anymore. I work a lot with Windows XP Pro and this one can't run this Operating System.

TNT Holdings awful service

If you need to ship something internationally do not waste your time with this company.

I have been fighting with this incompetent company for 4 weeks as they bungled the air freight shipment of a piece of scientific equipment from italy to golden co (us).

May 14th 2010 they picked up our equipment in l'aquila. they first sent it to belgium by truck. there they discovered they either could not read, or had lost all 10 copies of the paper work stack provided to them. the shipment went back to milan for a week while a second set of paperwork was prepared for them. the shipment was then shipped to los angeles (why not denver?) where it sat for another week until they realized they had no clue what the shipment was and how to proceed with customs clearance. eventually they decided to ask us for more forms. so at that point we hired a competent import specialist (customs broker) who got the shipment cleared in a day with no duty (not required for non-commercial scientific equpiment). she too was amazed by the level of incompetence in her dealings with tnt.

but we were still not done. tnt then took a few more days to arrange with a different trucking company to satisfy their contracted obligations which was to deliver the equipment to golden co. several days passed before they turned over the shipment to a different trucking company who is scheduled to deliver on june 14th. (by this time my colleague who came to golden two weeks ago to work on this equipment will have returned to italy>

Any paperwork you send them disappears into a black hole. if there is the slightest possibility of a delay in any step in the process, they will exploit this to the fullest and deny any responsibility. they have no reliable way to pass information between agents in different countries, not that their agents in the eu and in the us care at all about what happens to your shipment. they certainly unqualified to handle customs procedures, either in the eu, or in the us. nor can they route a shipment in an intelligent fashion.

If you like wasting a lot of time, spending a lot of money and don't care whether your stuff arrives any time soon or at all, then use this company. sure their website looks pretty slick. don't be fooled.

I don't need the laptop anymore so I tried to sell the laptop locally, but with no luck. It is an US version and the warranty doesn't work here. That's why I'm trying my luck in the US.
I hope you are still interested. The laptop was bought brand new from Apple a 3 months ago. I have attached some pics with it to this email.
About the laptop I can say it is 3 months old and it is in good shape, no scratches, no dents as you can see from the pics I've sent. Included in the $350 price is everything the laptop came with when it was new, including the original manuals and warranty papers. The warranty is fully transferable to the new owner.

TNT Holdings Absolutely no reponse...Ransome!

TNT China took receipt of my shipment (Box of Used Network Equiptment) 1 month ago. I am told that I need to apply for Custom Clearence at a cost of 6000 RMB (approx 800USD / 600GBP on cost of goods 200GBP) and told it would take 45 days - 3 months! I asked to re-route or return the shipment, I was told it was impossible! So I have lost my shipment, i think this is robbery!

I will never use TNT ever again...

Delivery "held at warehouse" for no apparent reason. No notification, no nothing. The shipment will now be delivered 4 days later than promised. I might as well have used registered mail and saved 40 USD.

TNT Holdings failure to deliverconsignment, lost goods, inconsistent info on matter

Deatils of the events showing how incompetent the staff at TNT are and how Unreliable this firm is.

The level of service I have received from TNT is appalling and unacceptable. I have been trying to track and receive an international consignment from the 30th Of Dec 09 and it still hasn't been delivered. This isnt due to the weather but incompentency of the staff employed by TNT. I am told this morning by customer suppport at TNT that the parcel has now been lost and the sender show call their TNT office to process the claim!

Sequence of events that have driven me to write back via this forum are as follows:

1) attempted delivery on 15th, 16th & 17th Dec 09 by TNT - no note left to advise me that a delivery was attempted but comendable for the supposed number of attempts to deliver!

2) 18th Dec - delivery attempted by TNT and this time, a note left to advise that no one in to receive so to call TNT back to arrange a redelivery.

I left the country on the 18th early morning so didnt receive this note till my retun on the 30th of Dec at which point I called to rearrange the delivery.

I was advised that the next date for delivery would be the 31st Dec between 8am and 6pm.

Eager for the consignment, On the 31st of Dec
I called their free phone number at approx 11 am, 14:00 & 16:30 - all these times I was advised that there were no issues and that the delivery was on its way and should be with me by 6pm.

With no sign of any deliery till late evening, I called TNT back again at 17:30 at which point I was initially advised that the driver had left a note on the system saying he couldnt find the address due to the post code being incorrect.

A few minutes later I was advised that the reason was incorrect and instead TNT had taken the decision to call back all drivers at approx 2pm on the day hence I would not receive the consignment on the 31st and would need to rearrange for delivery next week (in Jan). The goods were sitting at their Enfield depot at this point.

I queried the reason for withdrawing the service and was advised it was due to weather conditions however there was no snow or bad weather on the 31st Dec in London.

I requested for the consignment to be delivered the following Monday to a different address. This request for change of delivery address couldn't be processed on the day as the department to do that had left, so I was told someone from customer support would call me first thing on Monday 4th Jan to rearrange the delivery for Tuesday (5th Jan).

Disappointed to say the least. Not much I could at this point but give up chasing the delivery!

At 6pm - I received a message (voicemail) from another rep at TNT advising me that if the post code was incorrect I would need to contact the sender to have the details corrected.

Odd - as they had found the address on the 18th and were able to leave me a note.

I called TNT back however I was told that the depot had closed so would need to call back on Monday.

Further to this - I checked with the sender to ensure the address was correct. I have a scanned copy of the docket from the sender which is proof that the postcode was/is accurate.

4th Jan 2010
I did not receive a call on Monday Morning as promised so called myself in the afternoon. Requested for redelivery to a business address. I was informed this had been done and that the parcel would be sent from Enfield depot to Park Royal depot and then delivered on Tuesday to the new address.

5th Jan
No parcel delivered. Called TNT again and requested for a status update.
Spoke with 'Ryan' who contacted the depot and was informed that' Mic' at the depot had the goods and would put a request to have them sent to the Park Royal depot so that the goods can be delivered on the 6th
Following this call, I received another call from TNT at approx 4pm advising me of the above and informed me that I would be called on the 6th AM to confirm when the parcel has left the depot.

6th Jan - no call received till 11am.
so I called TNT again - was informed that the Goods were received by Liverpool Airport!

The rep on the phone wasnt sure why that was and would need to call all the relevant depots to get more details. I Was put on hold for 5 mins and then the other person hungup.

I Called back again at 13:00 - requseted to be put through a manager. Put on hold and then the other person hungup again.

I called the Park Royal depot myself- they confirmed they had the new delivery address and informed me the goods were no longer with them butwhat they can see is the goods have been lost, according to the system

Apparently the goods were received by Park Royal yesterday at approx 2AM with an empty box. As there was nothing in the box they have concluded the goods have been lost and advised I should call the 0800- number again.

Frustrated, I requested to be put through the GM of the depot 'Kevin Ashton'. I was advised that he wasnt in and to call back tomorrow, so I asked what time would be best? was asked to hold and then was offerd to be put through to his secretary, then on hold again and instead was offerd to be put through a manager, put on hold again after which the call failed (approx 5 mins) and then the other person hung up

AT approx 1:30pm on the 6th Jan - got a call from their International support team, Paula. She advised that the goods would not be delivered today and they are investigating whats happened. As soon as she hears back she will call me. Finally someone sensible on the phone!

I called the liverpool depot at 14:25 - they advised they have nothing coming up in their system for this consignment number so cant tell me anything about it.

4pm -Ppaula called back - said the park royal depot did receive the consignment last nght but it may have been sent to liverpool airport so as to return to sender. The person dealing with it was now off so to call back tomorrow to check for more details. She did pass the details on to her team and advised them to call me the next day.

7th Jan -
Got a call from TNT who advised they are looking into the matter and will get back to me.
11Am - Second call received, advising me that the goods cant be located and that they are probably lost but TNT are still trying to locate incase someone has found them.

Clearly the redirection is where the problem apperas to have started from however there appears to be no signs of tampering on the package or damage - depot indicate that the seal of the package is broken so and the goods may have slipped out!

Also advised to contact sender who should put in a claim at their end..

Next day delivery - Nonsense, excuses/no delivery

Feb 2017 - Unable to deliver on their promises, let down again - Rubbish company, you will be left waiting, maybe days in my experience, for a next day delivery - Use Parcelforce, received 2 items off Parcelforce today, no excuses, just what they said they will do, deliver.

Awaiting a parcel from Trinidad that was to go through UK and then to be posted by TNT to my country.
The parcel was send on 28 of Dec and reached UK on 30th. Public holidays and bad weather conditions delayed it so it could not be sent even by 7th of Jan. Tracking code provided for TNT is not working, Trinidad's Poss Office has no idea where my parcel is because TNT is not updating them with the proper information. After continuous attempts the person who sent me the goods managed to reach TNT's Office in the UK on 15th of Jan and they claimed that items are still in their possession. Today Jan 20th I get a message from the person who sent the parcel that the goods dispatched from the UK on 18th and (it's been 20 freaking days ... what the problem at their depot?) that I'll be getting them in 3 to 5 working days. TNT's tracking number still doesn't work, so I'm unable to track the parcel. Looks like it takes them about about a month to deliver from the UK to LV when every other courier company does that in 3- 4 days! I'm loosing faith already ... I even considered my package lost at some point ...
